What are they asking one another about?

About what are they asking one another?

(நபியே!) எதைப்பற்றி அவர்கள் (தங்களுக்குள்) கேட்டு கொள்கின்றனர்?

எதைப்பற்றி அவர்கள் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் கேட்டுக்கொள்கின்றனர்?

(நபியே!) எதைப்பற்றி அவர்கள் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் கேட்டுக்கொள்கின்றனர்?

About what are they asking one another?

AAani alnnabai alAAatheemi

About the great news (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism, the Qur'ân which Prophet Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] brought and the Day of Resurrection),

About the great news -

மகத்தான செய்தியைப் பற்றிய(ல்லவ)ô!

மகத்தான அச்செய்தியைப் பற்றி,

மகத்தான அச்செய்தியைப்பற்றி.

About the momentous news,

Allathee hum feehi mukhtalifoona

About which they are in disagreement.

That over which they are in disagreement.

அதைப்பற்றி அவர்கள் (உண்மைக்கு) மாறான அபிப்பிராயம் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்.

எதைப்பற்றி அவர்கள் வேறுபட்(ட கருத்துக்கள் கொண்)டிருக்கிறார்களோ அதைப் பற்றி,

அ(ம்மகத்தான செய்தியான)து எத்தகையதென்றால் அவர்கள் அதில்(தான்) கருத்து வேறுபாடு கொண்டுள்ளனர்.

about which they differ.

Kalla sayaAAlamoona

Nay, they will come to know!

No! They are going to know.

(தங்கள் எண்ணம் தவறு என்பதை) அதிசீக்கிரத்தில் அவர்கள் நன்கு அறிந்து கொள்வார்கள்.

அவ்வாறன்று! அவர்கள் விரைவில் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

அவ்வாறல்ல! (அல்லாஹ் - காஃபிர்களை என்ன செய்வான் என்பதை) அவர்கள் நன்கறிந்து கொள்வார்கள்.

No indeed; they will come to know.

Thumma kalla sayaAAlamoona

Nay, again, they will come to know!

Then, no! They are going to know.

அவசியம் அதிசீக்கிரத்தில் (அதன் உண்மையை) நன்கு அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

பின்னரும் (சந்தேகமின்றி) அவர்கள் விரைவிலேயே அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

பின்னர், அவ்வாறல்ல! (விசுவாசிகள் அல்லாஹ்வை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதன் பலனை) அறிந்து கொள்வார்கள.

Again no; they will come to know.

Alam najAAali alarda mihadan

Have We not made the earth as a bed,

Have We not made the earth a resting place?

(இவ்வளவு பெரிய) பூமியை நாம் (உங்களுக்கு) விரிப்பாக அமைக்கவில்லையா?

நாம் இப்பூமியை விரிப்பாக ஆக்கவில்லையா?

பூமியை நாம் (உங்களுக்கு) விரிப்பாக ஆக்கவில்லையா?

Have We not made the earth a resting place?

Waaljibala awtadan

And the mountains as pegs?

And the mountains as stakes?

(அதில்) மலைகளை முளைகளாக (நாட்டவில்லையா?)

இன்னும், மலைகளை முளைகளாக ஆக்கவில்லையா?

மலைகளையும் முளைகளாக (நாம் அமைக்கவில்லையா?)

And the mountains as stakes,

Wakhalaqnakum azwajan

And We have created you in pairs (male and female, tall and short, good and bad).

And We created you in pairs

ஜோடி ஜோடியாக உங்களை நாமே படைத்திருக்கின்றோம்.

இன்னும் உங்களை ஜோடி ஜோடியாகப் படைத்தோம்.

இன்னும் உங்களை (ஆண், பெண் கொண்ட) ஜோடிகளாக நாம் படைத்தோம்.

and created you in pairs,

WajaAAalna nawmakum subatan

And We have made your sleep as a thing for rest.

And made your sleep [a means for] rest

நாமே உங்களுடைய நித்திரையை (உங்களுக்குச்) சிரம பரிகாரமாக்கினோம்.

மேலும், உங்களுடைய தூக்கத்தை இளைப்பாறுதலாக ஆக்கினோம்.

நாம் உங்களுடைய தூக்கத்தை (உங்களுக்கு) இளைப்பாறுதலாகவும் ஆக்கினோம்.

and made your sleep for rest,

WajaAAalna allayla libasan

And We have made the night as a covering (through its darkness),

And made the night as clothing

நாமே இரவை (உங்களுக்கு)ப் போர்வையாக ஆக்கினோம்.

அன்றியும், இரவை உங்களுக்கு ஆடையாக ஆக்கினோம்.

நாம் இரவை (உங்களுக்கு) ஆடையாகவும் ஆக்கினோம்.

and made the night a covering,

WajaAAalna alnnahara maAAashan

And We have made the day for livelihood.

And made the day for livelihood

நாமே பகலை (உங்கள்) வாழ்வைத் தேடிக் கொள்ளும் நேரமாக்கினோம்.

மேலும், பகலை உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை (வசதிகளைத் தேடிக்கொள்ளும் காலம்) ஆக்கினோம்.

நாம் பகலை வாழ்க்கைக்குரிய(வற்றைத் தேடிக்கொள்ளும்) நேரமாக ஆக்கினோம்.

and made the day for seeking livelihood,

Wabanayna fawqakum sabAAan shidadan

And We have built above you seven strong (heavens),

And constructed above you seven strong [heavens]

உங்களுக்கு மேலிருக்கும் பலமான ஏழு வானங்களையும் நாமே அமைத்தோம்.

உங்களுக்குமேல் பலமான ஏழுவானங்களை உண்டாக்கினோம்.

உங்களுக்கு மேல் உறுதியான (வானங்கள்) ஏழினை நாமே உண்டாக்கினோம்.

and built above you seven mighty heavens,

WajaAAalna sirajan wahhajan

And We have made (therein) a shining lamp (sun).

And made [therein] a burning lamp

அதில் (சூரியனைப்) பிரகாசிக்கும் தீபமாக அமைத்தோம்.

ஒளிவீசும் விளக்கை(சூரியனை)யும் (அங்கு) அமைத்தோம்.

(வெப்பமும் ஒளியும் கலந்த) பிரகாசிக்கும் ஒரு விளக்கையும் (சூரியனை) ஆக்கினோம்.

and made therein a blazing lamp,

Waanzalna mina almuAAsirati maan thajjajan

And We have sent down from the rainy clouds abundant water.

And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water

கார்மேகத்திலிருந்து பெரும் மழையை பொழியச் செய்கின்றோம்.

அன்றியும், கார்மேகங்களிலிருந்து பொழியும் மழையையும் இறக்கினோம்.

கார் மேகங்களிலிருந்து அதிகமாகப் பொழியும் (மழை) நீரையும் இறக்கி வைத்தோம்.

and sent down from the rainclouds abundant water,

Linukhrija bihi habban wanabatan

That We may produce therewith corn and vegetation,

That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation

அதனைக் கொண்டு தானியங்களையும் புற்பூண்டுகளையும் முளைப்பிக்கின்றோம்.

அதைக் கொண்டு தானியங்களையும், தாவரங்களையும் நாம் வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்காக.

அதனைக் கொண்டு தானியத்தையும், தாவரத்தையும் நாம் வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்காக-

so that We may produce thereby grains and vegetation,

Wajannatin alfafan

And gardens of thick growth.

And gardens of entwined growth.

கிளைகள் அடர்ந்த சோலைகளையும் (உற்பத்தி செய்கின்றோம்).

(கிளைகளுடன்) அடர்ந்த சோலைகளையும் (வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்காக).

அடர்ந்த மரங்களுள்ள சோலைகளையும் (வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்காக)-

and gardens with dense foliage?

Inna yawma alfasli kana meeqatan

Verily, the Day of Decision is a fixed time,

Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time -

நிச்சயமாக (இவர்கள் தர்க்கித்து நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும்) அந்தத் தீர்ப்பு நாள்தான் (விசாரணைக்குக்) குறிப்பிட்ட காலமாகும்.

நிச்சயமாகத் தீர்ப்புக்குரிய நாள், நேரங்குறிக்கப்பட்டதாகவே இருக்கிறது.

நிச்சயமாக, தீர்ப்புநாள் நேரம் குறிக்கப்பட்டதாக இருக்கிறது.

Indeed, the Day of Judgment is a time appointed,

Yawma yunfakhu fee alssoori fatatoona afwajan

The Day when the Trumpet will be blown, and you shall come forth in crowds (groups after groups). (Tafsir At-Tabari)

The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes

(அதற்காக) ஸþர் (என்னும் எக்காளம்) ஊதப்படும் நாளில் நீங்கள் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக வருவீர்கள்.

ஸூர் (எக்காளம்) ஊதப்படும் அந்நாளில் நீங்கள் அணிஅணியாக வருவீர்கள்.

ஸூர் (குழல்) ஊதப்படும் நாளன்று நீங்கள் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக (கேள்வி கணக்கு நடக்கும் திறந்த வெளிக்கு) வருவீர்கள்.

the Day when the Trumpet will be blown, you will come forth in crowds,

Wafutihati alssamao fakanat abwaban

And the heaven shall be opened, and it will become as gates,

And the heaven is opened and will become gateways

வானம் திறக்கப்பட்டு (அதில்) பல வழிகள் ஏற்பட்டு விடும்.

இன்னும், வானம் திறக்கப்பட்டு பல வாசல்களாகிவிடும்.

வானமும் திறக்கப்பட்டு, பின்னர் பல வாசல்களாக அது ஆகிவிடும்.

and the sky will be opened up and will become gateways,

Wasuyyirati aljibalu fakanat saraban

And the mountains shall be moved away from their places and they will be as if they were a mirage.

And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage.

மலைகள் (தம் இடம் விட்டுப்) பெயர்க்கப்பட்டு தூள் தூளாகி (பறந்து) விடும்.

மலைகள் பெயர்க்கப்பட்டு கானல் நீராகிவிடும்.

மலைகளும் (இடம்) பெயர்க்கப்பட்டு கானல் நீராகிவிடும்.

and the mountains will vanish, becoming like a mirage.

Inna jahannama kanat mirsadan

Truly, Hell is a place of ambush –

Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait

நிச்சயமாக நரகம் (இந்தப் பாவிகளின் வரவை) எதிர் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றது.

நிச்சயமாக நரகம் எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றது.

நிச்சயமாக நரகம் எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் இடமாக உள்ளது-

Indeed, Hell is lying in wait,

Lilttagheena maaban

A dwelling place for the Tâghûn (those who transgress the boundary limits set by Allâh, like polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, hypocrites, sinners, criminals),

For the transgressors, a place of return,

(பாவிகளாகிய) இந்த அநியாயக்காரர்கள் தங்குமிடம் அதுவே.

வரம்பு மீறியவர்களுக்குத் தங்குமிடமாக.

வரம்பு மீறியவர்களுக்குத் தங்குமிடமாக (ஆவதற்காக)-

a resort for the transgressors,

Labitheena feeha ahqaban

They will abide therein for ages.

In which they will remain for ages [unending].

அதில் அவர்கள் நீண்ட காலங்கள் தங்கிவிடுவார்கள்.

அதில் அவர்கள் பல யுகங்களாகத் தங்கியிருக்கும் நிலையில்.

அதில் அவர்கள் பல யுகங்கள் தங்குபவர்களாக இருக்கும் நிலையில்-

wherein they will abide for endless ages.

La yathooqoona feeha bardan wala sharaban

Nothing cool shall they taste therein, nor any drink.

They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink

-

அவர்கள் அதில் குளிர்ச்சியையோ, குடிப்பையோ சுவைக்கமாட்டார்கள்.

அதில் அவர்கள் குளிர்ச்சியையோ, குடிப்பையோ சுவைக்க மாட்டார்கள்.

They will neither taste therein any coolness nor any drink,

Illa hameeman waghassaqan

Except boiling water, and dirty wound discharges –

Except scalding water and [foul] purulence -

அதில் கொதிக்கும் நீரையும் சீழ் சலத்தைத் தவிர அவர்கள் (வேறு யாதொரு) குடிப்பையும், குளிர்ச்சியையும் சுவைக்க மாட்டார்கள்.

கொதிக்கும் நீரையும் சீழையும் தவிர.

முடிவுறக் காய்ச்சப்பட்ட (கொதி) நீரையும் (நரகவாசிகளின் உடலிலிருந்து வடிந்து கொண்டிருக்கும்) சீழையும் தவிர,

except scalding water and discharge of wounds,

Jazaan wifaqan

An exact recompense (according to their evil crimes).

An appropriate recompense.

இது (அவர்கள் செயலுக்குத்) தகுமான கூலியாகும்.

(அதுதான் அவர்களுக்குத்) தக்க கூலியாகும்.

(இது அவர்கள் செயலுக்கு) ஒத்த கூலியாக

a fitting recompense.

Innahum kanoo la yarjoona hisaban

For verily, they used not to look for a reckoning.

Indeed, they were not expecting an account

ஏனென்றால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் (மறுமையின்) கேள்வி கணக்கை நம்பவே இல்லை.

நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் கேள்வி கணக்கில் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளாமலேயே இருந்தனர்.

நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் (மறுமையின் கேள்வி) கணக்கை நம்பாதவர்களாக இருந்தனர்.

Indeed, they did not expect a reckoning,

Wakaththaboo biayatina kiththaban

But they denied Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, and that which Our Prophet brought) completely.

And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial.

அவர்கள் நம்முடைய வசனங்களை மிக்க அலட்சியமாகப் பொய் ஆக்கினார்கள்.

அன்றியும் அவர்கள் நம் வசனங்களைப் பொய்யெனக் கூறி பொய்யாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

மேலும், நம்முடைய வசனங்களை மிக்க அதிகமாக (முற்றாக) பொய்யாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்.

and utterly rejected Our verses.

Wakulla shayin ahsaynahu kitaban

And all things We have recorded in a Book.

But all things We have enumerated in writing.

எனினும், இவை அனைத்தையும் நாம் (நம்முடைய குறிப்புப்) புத்தகத்தில் பதிவு செய்துகொண்டோம்.

நாம் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் பதிவேட்டில் பதிவு செய்திருக்கின்றோம்.

ஓவ்வொரு பொருளையும், (அது பற்றி நன்கறிந்து) அதை நாம் பதிவுப் புத்தகத்தில் கணக்கிட்டு) எழுதி வைத்திருக்கிறோம்.

But We have enumerated everything in a record.

Fathooqoo falan nazeedakum illa AAathaban

So taste you (the results of your evil actions). No increase shall We give you, except in torment.

"So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment."

ஆகவே, (மறுமையில் அவர்களை நோக்கி) வேதனையைத் தவிர நாம் உங்களுக்கு (வேறெதையும்) அதிகப்படுத்தமாட்டோம். ஆகவே, (இதனைச்) சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள் (என்று கூறுவோம்).

“ஆகவே சுவையுங்கள் - வேதனையைத் தவிர வேறு எதனையும் உங்களுக்கு நாம் அதிகப் படுத்த மாட்டோம்” (என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூறப்படும்).  

“ஆகவே சுவையுங்கள், வேதனையைத் தவிர (வேறெதனையும்) உங்களுக்கு நாம் அதிகப்படுத்தவே மாட்டோம்” (என்று கூறப்படும்).

So taste [the punishment], for We will not increase you except in torment.”

Inna lilmuttaqeena mafazan

Verily, for the Muttaqûn, there will be a success (Paradise);

Indeed, for the righteous is attainment -

ஆயினும், இறை அச்சமுடையவர்களுக்கோ நிச்சயமாக பாதுகாப்பான (சுவர்க்கம் என்னும்) இடம் உண்டு.

நிச்சயமாக பயபக்தியுடையவர்களுக்கு வெற்றிப் பாக்கியம் இருக்கிறது.

நிச்சயமாக பயபக்தியுடையோருக்கு (நரகிலிருந்து விடுபட்டு சுவனம் செல்லும்) வெற்றி உண்டு.

Indeed, the righteous will have salvation,

Hadaiqa waaAAnaban

Gardens and vineyards,

Gardens and grapevines

(அங்கு வசிப்பதற்கு) தோட்டங்களும் (அவற்றில் புசிப்பதற்கு அவர்களுக்கு) திராட்சைக் கனிகளும் உண்டு.

தோட்டங்களும், திராட்சைப் பழங்களும்.

தோட்டங்களும், திராட்சைகளும் (உண்டு)

gardens and vineyards,

WakawaAAiba atraban

And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age,

And full-breasted [companions] of equal age

(மனைவிகளாக) ஒரே வயதுடைய (கண்ணழகிகளான) நெஞ்சு நிமிர்ந்த கன்னிகளும்,

ஒரே வயதுள்ள கன்னிகளும்.

(மனைவிகளாக) மார்பகங்கள் உயர்ந்த சம வயதுடைய கன்னிகைகளும் (இருப்பர்)

and full-bosomed maidens of equal age,

Wakasan dihaqan

And a full cup (of wine).

And a full cup.

(பானங்கள்) நிறைந்த கிண்ணங்களும் (அவர்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும்).

பானம் நிறைந்த கிண்ணங்களும், (இருக்கின்றன).

(மது) பானங்கள் நிறைந்த கிண்ணங்களும் (உண்டு)

and a full cup [of wine].

La yasmaAAoona feeha laghwan wala kiththaban

No Laghw (dirty, false, evil talk) shall they hear therein, nor lying;

No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood -

அங்கு அவர்கள் யாதொரு வீண் வார்த்தையையும் பொய்யையும் செவியுற மாட்டார்கள்.

அங்கு அவர்கள் வீணானவற்றையும், பொய்ப்பித்தலையும் கேட்கமாட்டார்கள்.

அங்கு அவர்கள் யாதொரு வீண் வார்த்தையையும், (ஒருவரையொருவர்) பொய்யாக்குவதையும் செவியுறமாட்டார்கள்.

They will not hear therein vain talk or lies –

Jazaan min rabbika AAataan hisaban

A reward from your Lord, an ample calculated gift (according to the best of their good deeds),

[As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account,

(இவைகளெல்லாம் இவர்களின் நன்மைகளுக்குக்) கணக்கான கூலியாகவும் (கிடைக்கும். அதற்கு மேல்) உங்களது இறைவன் புறத்தால் நன்கொடையாகவும் (இன்னும் அதிகம்) அவர்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும்.

(இது) உம்முடைய இறைவனிடமிருந்து (அளிக்கப் பெறும்) கணக்குப் படியான நன்கொடையாகும்.

(இவை) உமது இரட்சகனிடமிருந்து நற்கூலியாக, கணக்கான அன்பளிப்பாக (கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது)

a reward and a generous gift from your Lord,

Rabbi alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma alrrahmani la yamlikoona minhu khitaban

(From) the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and whatsoever is in between them, – the Most Gracious, with Whom they cannot dare to speak (on the Day of Resurrection except by His Leave).

[From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech.

அவனே வானங்கள், பூமி, இவைகளுக்கு மத்தியிலுள்ளஅனைத்தின் சொந்தக்காரன்; அளவற்ற அருளாளன். எனினும், (அந்நாளில் எவருமே) அவன் முன் பேச சக்திபெற மாட்டார்கள்.

(அவனே) வானங்களுக்கும், பூமிக்கும் அவ்விரண்டிற்கும் இடையேயுள்ள வற்றிற்கும் இறைவன்; அர்ரஹ்மான் - அவனிடம் பேச எவரும் அதிகாரம் பெறமாட்டார்கள்.

(அவனே) வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமி இன்னும் இவை இரண்டிற்கு மத்தியிலுள்ளவற்றிற்கும் இரட்சகன்; (அவனே) அளவற்ற அருளாளன்; அவன்முன் அவர்கள் பேச சக்தி பெறமாட்டார்கள்.

[from] the Lord of the heavens and earth and all that is between them, the Most Compassionate; none will dare to speak to Him.

Yawma yaqoomu alrroohu waalmalaikatu saffan la yatakallamoona illa man athina lahu alrrahmanu waqala sawaban

The Day that Ar-Rûh [Jibrâîl (Gabriel) or another angel] and the angels will stand forth in rows, they will not speak except him whom the Most Gracious (Allâh) allows, and he will speak what is right.

The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct.

ஜிப்ரயீலும், மலக்குகளும் அணி அணியாக நிற்கும் அந்நாளில், எவருமே அவன் முன் பேச (சக்தி பெற) மாட்டார்கள். எனினும், ரஹ்மான் எவருக்கு அனுமதி கொடுத்து "சரி! பேசும்" எனவும் கூறினானோ அவர் (மட்டும்) பேசுவார்.

ரூஹு (என்ற ஜிப்ரீலு)ம், மலக்குகளும் அணியணியாக நிற்கும் நாளில் அர்ரஹ்மான் எவருக்கு அனுமதி கொடுகிறானோ அவர்களைத் தவிர்த்து வேறெவரும் பேசமாட்டார்கள் - அ(த்தகைய)வரும் நேர்மையானதையே கூறுவார்.

(ஜிப்ரீலாகிய) ரூஹும், மலக்குகளும் அணிவகுத்து நிற்கும் நாளில் (மிகக் கிருபையுடையவனாகிய) அர்ரஹ்மான் எவருக்கு அனுமதியளித்து - இன்னும் சரியானதைக் கூறியிருந்தாரோ அவரைத்தவிர (மற்றெவரும் அவன் முன்) பேசமாட்டார்கள்.

On the Day when the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows; none will dare to speak, except those to whom the Most Compassionate granted permission, and they will only speak the truth.

Thalika alyawmu alhaqqu faman shaa ittakhatha ila rabbihi maaban

That is (without doubt) the True Day. So, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with (or a way to) his Lord (by obeying Him in this worldly life)!

That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return.

இத்தகைய நாள் (வருவது) உறுதி! ஆகவே, விரும்பியவன் தன் இறைவனிடமே தங்கும் இடத்தைத் தேடிக்கொள்ளவும்.

அந்நாள் சத்தியமானது. ஆகவே, எவர் விரும்புகிறாரோ, அவர் தம் இறைவனிடம் தங்குமிடத்தை ஏற்படுத்திக் கொள்வாராக.

(அந்நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடந்தேறும்) அது சத்தியமான நாளாகும், எனவே எவர் நாடுகிறாரோ அவர் தம் இரட்சகனிடம் மீளும் பாதையை எடுத்துக் கொள்வாராக.

That Day is sure to come. So whoever wills may seek a path leading to his Lord.

Inna antharnakum AAathaban qareeban yawma yanthuru almaro ma qaddamat yadahu wayaqoolu alkafiru ya laytanee kuntu turaban

Verily, We have warned you of near torment, – the Day when man will see that (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say: "I wish I would have been dust!"

Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!"

சமீபத்தில் நிச்சயமாக உங்களுக்கு வரக்கூடிய ஒரு வேதனையைப் பற்றி நாம் எச்சரிக்கை செய்கின்றோம். அந்நாளில் ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும் தன் இரு கரங்கள் செய்த செயலின் பலனை(த் தன் கண்ணால்) கண்டுகொள்வான். நிராகரிப்பவனோ தான் மண்ணாக ஆகவேண்டுமே என்று புலம்புவான்!

நிச்சயமாக, நெருங்கி வரும் வேதனையைப்பற்றி உங்களுக்கு எச்சரிக்கை செய்கிறோம் - மனிதன் தன் இரு கைகளும் செய்து முற்படுத்தியவற்றை - அமல்களை - அந்நாளில் கண்டு கொள்வான் - மேலும் காஃபிர் “அந்தோ கைசேதமே! நான் மண்ணாகிப் போயிருக்க வேண்டுமே!” என்று (பிரலாபித்துக்) கூறுவான்.

நிச்சயமாக, சமீபித்துவரும் வேதனையைப் பற்றி நாம் உங்களுக்கு எச்சரிக்கிறோம்; (விசுவாசியான) மனிதர் தன் இருகரங்கள் முற்படுத்தியதைக் (கண்கூடாகக்) காணும் நாள்; இன்னும் நிராகரித்தவனோ (அந்நாளில் “நான் மண்ணாக ஆகியிருக்க வேண்டுமே” என்று கூறுவான்.
