66 - at-Tahreem (Prohibition) ....

Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu lima tuharrimu ma ahalla Allahu laka tabtaghee mardata azwajika waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun

O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allâh has allowed to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

நபியே! நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய மனைவிகளின் திருப்தியைக் கருதி, அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு ஆகுமாக்கி வைத்த பொருள்களை (உபயோகிப்பது இல்லை என்று) நீங்கள் ஏன் (சத்தியம் செய்து அதனை ஹராம் என்று) விலக்கிக்கொண்டீர்கள்? அல்லாஹ் மிக மன்னிப்பவனும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

நபியே! உம் மனைவியரின் திருப்தியை நாடி, அல்லாஹ் உமக்கு அனுமதித்துள்ளதை ஏன் விலக்கிக் கொண்டீர்? மேலும் அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் மன்னிப்பவன், மிக்க கிருபையுடையவன்.

நபியே! உம்முடைய மனைவியரின் திருப்தியை நீர் தேடியவராக அல்லாஹ் உமக்கு ஆகுமாக்கி வைத்ததை நீர் ஏன் (சத்தியம் செய்து ஹராம் என்று) விலக்கிக் கொண்டீர்? மேலும், அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிக்கிறவன், மிகக்கிருபையுடையவன்.

O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives? Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Qad farada Allahu lakum tahillata aymanikum waAllahu mawlakum wahuwa alAAaleemu alhakeemu

Allâh has already ordained for you (O men) the absolution from your oaths. And Allâh is your Maulâ (Lord, or Master, or Protector) and He is the All-Knower, the All-Wise.

Allah has already ordained for you [Muslims] the dissolution of your oaths. And Allah is your protector, and He is the Knowing, the Wise.

ஆகவே, உங்களுடைய அந்தச் சத்தியத்திற்கு (நீங்கள் பரிகாரம் கொடுத்து) அதனை நீக்கிவிடுமாறு நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு கட்டளையிடுகின்றான். அல்லாஹ்தான் உங்களது எஜமானன். அவன் (அனைவரையும்) நன்கறிந்தவனும் ஞானமுடைய வனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

அல்லாஹ் உங்களுடைய சத்தியங்களை (சில போது தக்க பரிகாரங்களுடன்) முறித்து விடுவதை உங்களுக்கு ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறான்; மேலும் அல்லாஹ் உங்கள் எஜமானன். மேலும், அவன் நன்கறிந்தவன்; ஞானம் மிக்கவன்.

உங்களுடைய சத்தியங்களை (அதனால் தடுக்கப்பட்டவற்றை மீண்டும் ஆகுமாக்கிக் கொள்ள) முறித்துவிடுவதை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறான், மேலும், அல்லாஹ்தான் உங்களுக்கு பாதுகாவலன், இன்னும், அவன்தான் (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கிறகிறவன், தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவன்.

Allah has ordained for you the way to absolve yourselves from your oaths. Allah is your Guardian, and He is All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

Waith asarra alnnabiyyu ila baAAdi azwajihi hadeethan falamma nabbaat bihi waathharahu Allahu AAalayhi AAarrafa baAAdahu waaAArada AAan baAAdin falamma nabbaaha bihi qalat man anbaaka hatha qala nabbaaniya alAAaleemu alkhabeeru

And (remember) when the Prophet [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wives (Hafsah), then she told it (to another i.e. 'آishah). And Allâh made it known to him; he informed part thereof and left a part. Then when he told her (Hafsah) thereof, she said: "Who told you this?" He said: "The All-Knower, the Well-Acquainted (Allâh) has told me."

And [remember] when the Prophet confided to one of his wives a statement; and when she informed [another] of it and Allah showed it to him, he made known part of it and ignored a part. And when he informed her about it, she said, "Who told you this?" He said, "I was informed by the Knowing, the Acquainted."

(நமது) நபி தன்னுடைய மனைவிகளில் ஒருவரிடம் ஒரு விஷயத்தை இரகசியமாகக் கூறிய சமயத்தில், அப்பெண் அதனை (மற்றொரு மனைவிக்கு) அறிவித்துவிட்டார். அதனை அல்லாஹ் அவருக்கு வெளியாக்கித் தந்தான். நபி (அதில்) சிலவற்றை (அம்மனைவிக்கு) அறிவித்துச் சிலவற்றை (அறிவிக்காது) புறக்கணித்து விட்டார். (இவ்வாறு) நபி தன் மனைவிக்கு அறிவிக்கவே, அம்மனைவி "இதனை உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்தவர் யார்?" எனக் கேட்டார். அதற்கு அவர் "(அனைத்தையும்) நன்கறிந்து தெரிந்தவனே அதனை எனக்கு அறிவித்தான்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.

மேலும், நபி தம் மனைவியர் ஒருவரிடம் ஒரு செய்தியை இரகசியமாக ஆக்கிவைத்த போது அவர் (மற்றொருவருக்கு) அதை அறிவித்ததும், அ(வ்விஷயத்)தை அல்லாஹ் அவருக்கு வெளியாக்கி வைத்தான்; அவர் அதில் சிலதை தெரிவித்ததும், சிலதை(த் தெரிவிக்காது) புறக்கணித்தும் இருந்தார், (இவ்வாறு) அவர் அதைத் தெரிவித்த போது “உங்களுக்கு இதைத் தெரிவித்தவர் யார்?” என்று அப்பெண் கேட்டார். அதற்கு அவர்: “(யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிந்தோனும் உணர்ந்தோனும் (ஆகிய அல்லாஹ்) எனக்குத் தெரிவித்தான்” என்று (பதில்) கூறினார்.

மேலும், (நபி, தன்னுடைய மனைவியரில் சிலர்பால் ஒரு விஷயத்தை ரகசியமாகக் கூறியதை- (நினைவு கூர்க!) பின்னர் அ(ம்மனைவியான)வர் அதனை (நபியின் மற்றொரு மனைவிக்கு) அறிவித்து அதனை அல்லாஹ் (நபியாகிய) அவருக்கு வெளியாக்கி வைத்தபோது அவர் அதில் சிலவற்றை (அம்மனைவிக்கு) அறிவித்து, சிலவற்றை (அறிவிக்காது) புறக்கணித்தும் விட்டார், பின்னர், அவர் அவருடைய மனைவிக்கு அதை அறிவித்தபோது, “இதனை உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்தவர் யார்?” என அவர் (அந்த மனைவி) கேட்டார், அதற்கு அவர் “(யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிந்தோன், நன்குணர்ந்தோன் (ஆகிய அல்லாஹ் அதனை) எனக்கறிவித்தான்” என்று கூறினார்.

And [remember] when the Prophet told one of his wives something in secret. Then when she disclosed it [to another wife], and Allah made it known to him, he told [the disclosing wife] part of what was disclosed and overlooked a part. When he informed her of that, she said, “Who informed you of this?” He said, “I was informed by the All-Knowing, the All-Aware.

In tatooba ila Allahi faqad saghat quloobukuma wain tathahara AAalayhi fainna Allaha huwa mawlahu wajibreelu wasalihu almumineena waalmalaikatu baAAda thalika thaheerun

If you two (wives of the Prophet : 'آishah and Hafsah [radhi-yAllâhu 'anhumaa]) turn in repentance to Allâh, (it will be better for you), your hearts are indeed so inclined (to oppose what the Prophet likes); but if you help one another against him (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), then verily, Allâh is his Maulâ (Lord, or Master, or Protector), and Jibrâîl (Gabriel), and the righteous among the believers; – and furthermore, the angels are his helpers.

If you two [wives] repent to Allah, [it is best], for your hearts have deviated. But if you cooperate against him - then indeed Allah is his protector, and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are [his] assistants.

(நபியுடைய அவ்விரு மனைவிகளே!) நீங்கள் இருவரும் (உங்கள் குற்றங்களைப் பற்றி) அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கம் கைசேதப்பட்டு மன்னிப்புக் கோரி மீண்டுவிட்டால் (அது உங்களுக்கே நன்று. ஏனென்றால்,) உங்கள் இருவரின் உள்ளங்கள் (நேரான வழியில் இருந்து) சாய்ந்துவிட்டன. ஆகவே, நீங்கள் இருவரும் அவருக்கு விரோதமாக ஒன்று சேர்ந்தால், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவரை பாதுகாப்பவனாக இருக்கின்றான். அன்றி, ஜிப்ரயீலும், நம்பிக்கை யாளர்களிலுள்ள நல்லடியார்களும், இவர்களுடன் (மற்ற) மலக்குகளும் (அவருக்கு) உதவியாக இருப்பார்கள்.

நீங்கள் இருவரும் - இதற்காக அல்லாஹ்விடம் தவ்பா செய்வீர்களாயின் (அது உங்களுக்கு நலமாகும்) ஏனெனில் நிச்சயமாக உங்களிருவரின் இதயங்களும் (இவ்விஷயத்தில் கோணிச்) சாய்ந்து விட்டன - தவிர, நீங்கள் இருவரும் அவருக்கெதிராய் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உதவி செய்து கொண்டால், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் - அவருடைய எஜமானன் (அவருக்கு உதவுவான்; அன்றியும்) ஜிப்ரீலும், ஸாலிஹான முஃமின்களும் (உதவுவார்கள்.) அதன் பின் மலக்குகளும் (அவருக்கு) உதவியாளராக இருப்பார்கள்.

(நபியுடைய மனைவியராகிய) நீங்கள் இருவரும் (உங்கள் குற்றங்களுக்காக) பச்சாதாபப்பட்டு (தவ்பாச் செய்து) அல்லாஹ்வின்பால் மீண்டால், (அது உங்களுக்கு நன்மையாகும், இது ஏனென்றால்) உங்கள் இருவரின் இதயங்கள் (உண்மையிலிருந்து) சாய்ந்துவிட்டன, ஆகவே, நீங்களிருவரும் (நபியாகிய) அவருக்கு விரோதமாக (ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உதவிசெய்ய) ஒன்று சேர்ந்தால், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (நபியாகிய) அவருக்கு காப்பாளன், ஜிப்ரீலும், விசுவாசிகளிலுள்ள நல்லடியார்களும், (அவருக்கு உதவியாளர்களாக இருப்பார்கள்) அன்றியும், அதன் பின்னர் (அவருக்கு மற்ற) மலக்குகளும் உதவியாளர்களாவர்.

You both had better turn to Allah in repentance, for you have sinned. But if you insist on conspiring against him, then indeed Allah is his Protector, as well as Gabriel and the righteous believers, and moreover angels are his supporters.

AAasa rabbuhu in tallaqakunna an yubdilahu azwajan khayran minkunna muslimatin muminatin qanitatin taibatin AAabidatin saihatin thayyibatin waabkaran

It may be if he divorced you (all) that his Lord would give him instead of you, wives better than you, – Muslims (who submit to Allâh), believers, obedient (to Allâh), turning to Allâh in repentance, worshipping Allâh sincerely, given to fasting (or emigrants for Allâh's sake), previously married and virgins.

Perhaps his Lord, if he divorced you [all], would substitute for him wives better than you - submitting [to Allah], believing, devoutly obedient, repentant, worshipping, and traveling - [ones] previously married and virgins.

நபி உங்களை "தலாக்" கூறி (விலக்கி) விட்டால், உங்களைவிட மேலான பெண்கள் பலரை அவருடைய இறைவன் அவருக்கு மனைவியாக்கி வைக்க முடியும். (மனைவியாக வரக்கூடிய அப்பெண்களோ) முஸ்லிமானவர்களாகவும், நம்பிக்கைக் கொண்டவர்களாகவும், (இறைவனுக்குப்) பயந்து (நமது நபிக்கு கட்டுப்பட்டு) நடக்கக் கூடியவர்களாகவும், (பாவத்தைவிட்டு) விலகியவர்களாகவும், (இறைவனை) வணங்குபவர்களாகவும், நோன்பு நோற்பவர்களாகவும், கன்னியர்களாகவும், கன்னியர் அல்லாதவர்களாகவும் இருப்பார்கள். (இதனால் உங்களுக்குத்தான் நஷ்டம்.)

அவர் உங்களை “தலாக்” சொல்லி விட்டால், உங்களை விடச் சிறந்த - முஸ்லிம்களான, முஃமினான, (இறைவனுக்கு) வழிபட்டு நடப்பவர்களான, தவ்பா செய்பவர்களான, வணங்குபவர்களான, நோன்பு நோற்பவர்களான - கன்னிமை கழிந்தவர், இன்னும் கன்னிப் பெண்டிர் - இத்தகையவரை அவருடைய இறைவன் அவருக்கு (உங்களுக்குப்) பகரமாக, மனைவியராய் கொடுக்கப் போதுமானவன்.

(நம் நபியாகிய) அவர் உங்களை “தலாக்” கூறி விலக்கிவிட்டால், உங்களைவிடச் சிறந்த முஸ்லிம்களான, விசுவாசிகளான (அல்லாஹ்வுக்குப் பயந்து) கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடப்பவர்களான, (பாவத்தைவிட்டு விலகி தவ்பாச் செய்பவர்களான, வணங்கக்கூடியவர்களான, நோன்பு நோற்கக் கூடியவர்களான கன்னிமை கழிந்தவர்களான, கன்னியர்களான இத்தகையோரை (உங்களுக்குப் பகரமாக) அவருடைய இரட்சகன் அவருக்கு மனைவியராக மாற்றித்தரப் போதுமானவன்.

Perhaps, if he were to divorce you all, that his Lord would replace you with better wives who are submissive to Allah, believers, obedient, repentant, devout in worship and fasting – previously married and virgins.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo qoo anfusakum waahleekum naran waqooduha alnnasu waalhijaratu AAalayha malaikatun ghilathun shidadun la yaAAsoona Allaha ma amarahum wayafAAaloona ma yumaroona

O you who believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allâh, but do that which they are commanded.

O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.

நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! நீங்கள் உங்களையும், உங்கள் குடும்பத்தினரையும் நரக நெருப்பிலிருந்து பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். அதனுடைய எரிகட்டை, மனிதர்களும் கற்களுமாகும். அதில் கடின சித்தமுடைய பலசாலிகளான மலக்குகள் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கின்றனர். அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கு ஏவியதில் ஒரு சிறிதும் மாறுசெய்ய மாட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் (வேதனை செய்யுமாறு) தங்களுக்கிடப்பட்ட கட்டளைகளையே செய்து வருவார்கள்..

முஃமின்களே! உங்களையும், உங்கள் குடும்பத்தாரையும் (நரக) நெருப்பை விட்டுக் காப்பாற்றிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்; அதன் எரிபொருள் மனிதர்களும், கல்லுமேயாகும்; அதில் கடுமையான பலசாலிகளான மலக்குகள் (காவல்) இருக்கின்றனர்; அல்லாஹ் அவர்களை ஏவிய எதிலும் அவர்கள் மாறு செய்ய மாட்டார்கள்; தாங்கள் ஏவப்பட்டபடியே அவர்கள் செய்து வருவார்கள்.

விசுவாசிகளே! நீங்கள் உங்களையும், உங்கள் குடும்பத்தினரையும் (நரக நெருப்பைவிட்டும்) காப்பாற்றிக் கொள்ளுங்கள், அதன் எரிபொருள் மனிதர்களும், கல்லுமாகும், அதில் (குணத்தால்) கடின சித்தமுடைய (தோற்றத்தாலும், அமைப்பாலும்) பலசாலிகளான மலக்குகள் உள்ளனர், அல்லாஹ்விற்கு - அவன் அவர்களை ஏவியவற்றில் அவர்கள் மாறுசெய்யமாட்டார்கள், (இரட்சகனிடமிருந்து) அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்படுவதைச் செய்வார்கள்.

O you who believe, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, and is overseen by rigorous and stern angels, who never disobey whatever Allah commands and do whatever they are commanded.

Ya ayyuha allatheena kafaroo la taAAtathiroo alyawma innama tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona

(It will be said in the Hereafter) O you who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism)! Make no excuses this Day! You are being requited only for what you used to do.

O you who have disbelieved, make no excuses that Day. You will only be recompensed for what you used to do.

(அந்நாளில் நிராகரிப்பவர்களை நோக்கி) "நிராகரிப்பவர்களே! இன்றைய தினம் நீங்கள் (வீண்) புகல் கூறாதீர்கள். நீங்கள் கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவதெல்லாம், நீங்கள் செய்தவைகளுக்குத்தான். (நீங்கள் செய்யாதவைகளுக்கு அன்று" என்று கூறப்படும்)

(அன்று காஃபிர்களிடம்) நிராகரித்தோரே! இன்று நீங்கள் எந்தப்புகலும் கூறாதீர்கள்; நீங்கள் கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவதெல்லாம் நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததற்குத்தான்.

“நிராகரித்து விட்டோரே! (நீங்கள் மறுத்துக் கொண்டிருந்த மறுமை நாளான) இன்றையத்தினம் நீங்கள் (வீண்) புகல் கூறாதீர்கள், நீங்கள் கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவதெல்லாம், நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவைகளுக்குத்தான்” (என்று கூறப்படும்)

“O you who disbelieve, make no excuses this Day. You will only be recompensed for what you used to do.”

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo tooboo ila Allahi tawbatan nasoohan AAasa rabbukum an yukaffira AAankum sayyiatikum wayudkhilakum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu yawma la yukhzee Allahu alnnabiyya waallatheena amanoo maAAahu nooruhum yasAAa bayna aydeehim wabiaymanihim yaqooloona rabbana atmim lana noorana waighfir lana innaka AAala kulli shayin qadeerun

O you who believe! Turn to Allâh with sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will expiate from you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) – the Day that Allâh will not disgrace the Prophet (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and (with their Records – Books of deeds) in their right hands. They will say: "Our Lord! Keep perfect our Light for us [and do not put it off till we cross over the Sirât (a slippery bridge over the Hell) safely] and grant us forgiveness. Verily, You are Able to do all things."

O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right; they will say, "Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent."

நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! நீங்கள் கலப்பற்ற மனதுடன் (பாவத்தி லிருந்து விலகி) அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கம் திரும்புங்கள். உங்கள் இறைவனோ உங்கள் பாவங்களுக்குப் பரிகாரமாக்கி, (மன்னித்து) சுவனபதியிலும் உங்களைப் புகுத்திவிடுவான். அதில் தொடர்ந்து நீரருவிகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும். (தன்னுடைய) நபியையும், அவருடன் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களையும் அந்நாளில் அல்லாஹ் இழிவுபடுத்த மாட்டான். அந்நாளில், இவர்களுடைய பிரகாசம் இவர்களுக்கு முன்னும், இவர்களுடைய வலது பக்கத்திலும் ஊடுருவிச் சென்று கொண்டிருக்கும். இவர்கள் "எங்கள் இறைவனே! எங்களுக்கு, எங்களுடைய பிரகாசத்தை (அணையாது) நீ பரிபூரணமாக்கி வை. எங்களுடைய குற்றங்களையும் நீ மன்னித்து அருள்புரி. நிச்சயமாக நீ அனைத்தின் மீதும் ஆற்றலுடையவன்" என்று பிரார்த்தனை செய்து கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! கலப்பற்ற (மனதோடு) அல்லாஹ்விடம் தவ்பா செய்து, பாவமன்னிப்புப் பெறுங்கள்; உங்கள் இறைவன் உங்கள் பாவங்களை உங்களை விட்டுப் போக்கி உங்களைச் சுவனச் சோலைகளில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்வான்; அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறுகள் (சதா) ஓடிக் கொண்டே இருக்கும்; (தன்) நபியையும் அவருடன் ஈமான் கொண்டார்களே அவர்களையும் அந்நாளில் அல்லாஹ் இழிவுபடுத்தமாட்டான்; (அன்று ஈடேற்றம் பெற்ற) அவர்களுடைய பிரகாசம் (ஒளி) அவர்களுக்கு முன்னும் அவர்களுடைய வலப்புறத்திலும் விரைந்து கொண்டிருக்கும்; அவர்கள் “எங்கள் இறைவா! எங்களுக்கு, எங்களுடைய பிரகாசத்தை நீ முழுமையாக்கி வைப்பாயாக! எங்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பும் அருள்வாயாக! நிச்சயமாக நீ எல்லாப் பொருட்கள் மீதும் பேராற்றலுடையவன்” என்று கூறி(ப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்து) கொண்டு இருப்பார்கள்.

விசுவாசிகளே! கலப்பற்ற தவ்பாவாக (தூய மனத்துடன் பாவத்திலிருந்து விலகி,) அல்லாஹ்வின்பால் நீங்கள் தவ்பாச் செய்யுங்கள், (அவ்வாறு நீங்கள் செய்தால் தன்னுடைய) நபியையும், அவருடன் விசுவாசங்கொண்டவர்களையும் அல்லாஹ் இழிவு படுத்தாத நாளில், உங்கள் இரட்சகன் உங்கள் பாவங்களை உங்களைவிட்டுப் போக்கி (மன்னித்து) சுவனபதிகளிலும் உங்களை பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்யப் போதுமானவன், அவற்றின் கீழ் ஆறுகள் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும், (அந்நாளில்) அவர்களுடைய பிரகாசம் அவர்களுக்கு முன்னும், அவர்களுடைய வலப்புறங்களிலும் விரைந்து (சென்று) கொண்டிருக்கும், அவர்கள், “எங்கள் இரட்சகனே! எங்களுக்கு எங்களுடைய பிரகாசத்தை (அணையாது) நீ பரிபூரணமாக்கி வைப்பாயாக! எங்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பையும் அருள்வாயாக! நிச்சயமாக நீ, ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் மீதும் மிக்க ஆற்றலுடையவன்” என்று பிரார்த்தனை செய்து கூறுவார்கள்.

O you who believe, turn to Allah in sincere repentance. It may be that your Lord will absolve you of your bad deeds and admit you to gardens under which rivers flow, on the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will stream ahead of them and on their right. They will say, “Our Lord, complete our light for us and forgive us, for You are Most Capable of all things.”

Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu jahidi alkuffara waalmunafiqeena waoghluth AAalayhim wamawahum jahannamu wabisa almaseeru

O Prophet (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam])! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be severe against them; their abode will be Hell, – and worst indeed is that destination.

O Prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination.

நபியே! (இந்த) நிராகரிப்பவர்களுடன் (வாளைக் கொண்டும், இந்த) நயவஞ்சகர்களுடன் (தர்க்கத்தைக் கொண்டும்) போர் புரியுங்கள். அவர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் (தாட்சண்யம் காட்டாது) கடுமையாகவே இருங்கள். அவர்கள் செல்லுமிடம் நரகம்தான்; அது மகாகெட்ட சேரும் இடம்.

நபியே! காஃபிர்களுடனும், முனாஃபிக்குகளுடனும் நீர் போரிட்டு, அவர்களிடம் கண்டிப்புடன் இருப்பீராக! அன்றியும் அவர்கள் ஒதுங்குமிடம் நரகமேயாகும், அது மிகவும் கெட்ட சேருமிடம் ஆகும்.

நபியே! நிராகரிப்போருடனும், (வேஷதாரிகளான) முனாஃபிக்குகளுடனும் யுத்தம் புரிவீராக! அவர்கள் விஷயத்தில் நீர் கடுமையாகவே இருப்பீராக! அவர்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகந்தான், சேருமிடத்திலும் அது மிகக் கெட்டது.

O Prophet, strive [and fight] against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh with them. Their abode will be Hell. What a terrible destination!

Daraba Allahu mathalan lillatheena kafaroo imraata noohin waimraata lootin kanata tahta AAabdayni min AAibadina salihayni fakhanatahuma falam yughniya AAanhuma mina Allahi shayan waqeela odkhula alnnara maAAa alddakhileena

Allâh sets forth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Nûh (Noah) and the wife of Lût (Lot). They were under two of our righteous slaves, but they both betrayed them (their husbands by rejecting their doctrine). So, they [Nûh (Noah) and Lût (Lot) ['alayhis-salâm]] availed them (their respective wives) not against Allâh and it was said: "Enter the Fire along with those who enter!"

Allah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so those prophets did not avail them from Allah at all, and it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter."

நிராகரிக்கும் பெண்களுக்கு, நூஹ் நபியினுடைய மனைவியையும், லூத் நபியினுடைய மனைவியையும் அல்லாஹ் உதாரணமாக்கி வைக்கின்றான். இவ்விரு பெண்களும், நம் அடியார்களில் இரு நல்லடியார்களின் மனைவிகளாகவே இருந்தனர். எனினும், இவ்விரு பெண்களும் தங்கள் கணவன் மார்களுக்குத் துரோகம் செய்தனர். (ஆகவே, இவர்களிருவரும் நபிமார்களின் மனைவிகளாயிருந்தும்) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வேதனையிலிருந்து யாதொன்றையும் தடுத்துக்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை. (இவர்கள் துரோகம் செய்ததன் காரணமாக இவர்களை நோக்கி) "நரகத்தில் புகுபவர்களுடன் நீங்கள் இருவரும் புகுங்கள்" என்றே கூறப்பட்டது.

நிராகரிப்பவர்களுக்கு, நூஹுடைய மனைவியையும் லூத்துடைய மனைவியையும் அல்லாஹ் உதாரணமாக்கி வைக்கிறான்; இவ்விருவரும் ஸாலிஹான நம் நல்லடியார்களில், இரு நல்லடியார்களின் மனைவிகளாகவே இருந்தனர்; எனினும் இவ்விருவரும் தம் கணவர்களை மோசம் செய்தனர்; எனவே, அவ்விருவரும் (தம் மனைவியரான) அவ்விருவரைவிட்டும் அல்லாஹ்விலிருந்து (வேதனையைத்) தடுக்க இயலவில்லை; இன்னும், “நீங்களிருவரும் (நரக) நெருப்பில் நுழைபவர்களுடனே நுழையுங்கள்” என்று (இவ்விருவருக்கும்) கூறப்பட்டது.

நிராகரிப்போருக்கு (நபி) நூஹுடைய மனைவியையும், (நபி) லூத்துடைய மனைவியையும் அல்லாஹ் உதாரணமாகக் கூறுகிறான், அவ்விருவரும் நமது நல்லடியார்களில் உள்ள இரு நல்லடியாருக்குக் கீழ் (மனைவியராக) இருந்தனர், பின்னர் அவ்விருவரும் (தங்கள் கணவர்களான) அவ்விருவருக்கும் துரோகம் செய்தனர், ஆகவே (தம் மனைவியரான), அவர்களிருவரை விட்டும் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வேதனையிலிருந்து எதையும் (நபிகளாகிய) அவ்விருவராலும் தடுக்க முடியவில்லை, இவர்கள் துரோகம் செய்ததன் காரணமாக இவர்களிடம்,) நரக நெருப்பில் நுழைவோர்களுடன் நீங்களிருவரும் நுழைந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்” என்று கூறப்பட்டது.

Allah sets forth an example for the disbelievers: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were married to two of Our righteous slaves, but they betrayed them. Their husbands could not avail them anything against Allah, and they both were told, “Enter the Fire along with those who enter!”

Wadaraba Allahu mathalan lillatheena amanoo imraata firAAawna ith qalat rabbi ibni lee AAindaka baytan fee aljannati wanajjinee min firAAawna waAAamalihi wanajjinee mina alqawmi alththalimeena

And Allâh has set forth an example for those who believe: the wife of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), when she said: "My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his work, and save me from the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong doers and disbelievers in Allâh).

And Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people."

நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட பெண்களுக்கு(ம் இரு பெண்களை) அல்லாஹ் உதாரணமாகக் கூறுகின்றான். (முதலாவது:) ஃபிர்அவ்னுடைய மனைவி (ஆசியா). அவள் (தன் இறைவனை நோக்கி) "என் இறைவனே! உன்னிடத்தில் உள்ள சுவனபதியில் எனக்கு ஒரு வீட்டை அமைத்து, ஃபிர்அவ்னை விட்டும் அவனுடைய செயலை விட்டும் என்னை பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்" என்று பிரார்த்தனை செய்துகொண்டே இருந்தாள்.

மேலும், ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு ஃபிர்அவ்னின் மனைவியை அல்லாஹ் உதாரணமாக கூறுகிறான். அவர் “இறைவா! எனக்காக உன்னிடத்தில், சுவர்க்கத்தில் ஒரு வீட்டைக் கட்டித் தருவாயாக! இன்னும் ஃபிர்அவ்னை விட்டும், அவன் செயல்களை விட்டும் என்னை காப்பாற்றுவாயாக! இன்னும் அநியாயக்கார சமூகத்தாரிடமிருந்தும் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றுவாயாக” என்று (பிரார்த்தித்துக்) கூறினார்.

விசுவாசங் கொண்டோருக்கு ஃபிர் அவ்னுடைய மனைவியை உதாரணமாக அல்லாஹ் கூறுகிறான், (ஃபிர் அவ்னுடைய அக்கிரமங்களைச் சகிக்காமல் தன் இரட்சகனிடம்,) “என் இரட்சகனே! சொர்க்கத்தில் உன்னிடத்தில் எனக்கு ஒரு வீட்டைக் கட்டுவாயாக! ஃபிர் அவ்னை விட்டும், அவனுடைய செயலை விட்டும் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றுவாயாக! அன்றியும் அநியாயக்காரர்களான கூட்டத்தாரை விட்டும் நீ என்னைக் காப்பாற்றுவாயாக!” என்று (பிரார்த்தனை செய்து) அவர் கூறியதை (நினைவு கூர்வீராக!)

And Allah sets forth an example for the believers: the wife of Pharaoh, who said, “My Lord, build for me a house in Paradise near You, save me from Pharaoh and his [evil] deeds, and save me from the wrongdoing people.”

Wamaryama ibnata AAimrana allatee ahsanat farjaha fanafakhna feehi min roohina wasaddaqat bikalimati rabbiha wakutubihi wakanat mina alqaniteena

And Maryam (Mary), the daughter of 'Imrân who guarded her chastity. And We breathed into (the sleeve of her shirt or her garment) through Our Rûh [i.e. Jibrâîl (Gabriel)], and she testified to the truth of the Words of her Lord [i.e. believed in the Words of Allâh: "Be!" – and he was; that is 'خsâ (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) as a Messenger of Allâh], and (also believed in) His Scriptures, and she was of the Qanitûn (i.e. obedient to Allâh).

And [the example of] Mary, the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity, so We blew into [her garment] through Our angel, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient.

(இரண்டாவது:) இம்ரானுடைய மகள் மர்யம். அவர் தன்னுடைய கற்பை பாதுகாத்துக்கொண்டார். ஆகவே, அவருடைய கர்ப்பத்தில் நம்முடைய ரூஹிலிருந்து ஊதினோம். அவர் தன் இறைவனின் வசனங்களையும், வேதங்களையும் உண்மையாக்கி வைத்ததுடன் (இறைவனுக்கு) முற்றிலும் வழிப்பட்டவராகவும் இருந்தார்.

மேலும், இம்ரானின் புதல்வியான மர்யமையும் (அல்லாஹ் உதாரணமாக்கினான்) அவர் தம் கற்பைக் காத்துக் கொண்டார்; நாம் (அவரில்) நம் ரூஹிலிருந்து (ஆத்மாவிலிருந்து) ஊதினோம். மேலும், அவர் தம் இறைவனின் வார்த்தைகளையும், அவனுடைய வேதங்களையும் மெய்ப்பித்தார் - (ஏற்றுக் கொண்டார்); இன்னும், அவர் (அல்லாஹ்வை வணங்கி) வழிபட்டவர்களில் ஒருவராகவும் இருந்தார்.

இன்னும் இம்ரானுடைய மகள் மர்யமையும் (விசுவாசிகளுக்கு உதாரணமாக அல்லாஹ் கூறுகிறான்.) அவர் தன்னுடைய மர்மஸ்தானத்தை (க்கற்பை)க் காத்துக் கொண்டார், ஆகவே, நம்முடைய ரூஹிலிருந்து அதில் ஊதினோம், அவர் தன் இரட்சகனின் வார்த்தைகளையும் அவனின் வேதங்களையும் உண்மையாக்கி வைத்தார், முற்றிலும் கீழ்ப்படிந்தவர்களில் உள்ளவராகவும் அவர் இருந்தார்.

Also [the example of] Mary, daughter of ‘Imrān who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her through Our angel [Gabriel], and she firmly believed in the words of her Lord and His Scriptures, and was one of the obedient.
