58 - al-Mujadilah (The Contention)

Qad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatee tujadiluka fee zawjiha watashtakee ila Allahi waAllahu yasmaAAu tahawurakuma inna Allaha sameeAAun baseerun

Indeed Allâh has heard the statement of her (Khaulah bint Tha'labah) that disputes with you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) concerning her husband (Aus bin As-Sâmit), and complains to Allâh. And Allâh hears the argument between you both. Verily, Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Seer.

Certainly has Allah heard the speech of the one who argues with you, [O Muhammad], concerning her husband and directs her complaint to Allah. And Allah hears your dialogue; indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.

(நபியே!) எவள் தன் கணவரைப் பற்றி உங்களிடம் தர்க்கித்து (அவரைப் பற்றி) அல்லாஹ்விடமும் முறையிட்டாளோ, அவளுடைய முறையீட்டை அல்லாஹ் நிச்சயமாகக் கேட்டுக் கொண்டான். (அதைப்பற்றி) உங்கள் இருவரின் தர்க்க வாதத்தையும் அல்லாஹ் செவியுற்றான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (அனைத்தையும்) செவியுறுபவனும், (ஒவ்வொருவரின் செயலையும்) உற்று நோக்கினவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

(நபியே!) எவள் தன் கணவனைப் பற்றி உம்மிடம் தர்க்கித்து, அல்லாஹ்விடமும் முறையிட்டுக் கொண்டாளோ, அவளுடைய வார்த்தையை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் செவியேற்றுக் கொண்டான் - மேலும், அல்லாஹ் உங்களிருவரின் வாக்கு வாதத்தையும் செவியேற்றான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) செவியேற்பவன்; (எல்லாவற்றையும்) பார்ப்பவன்.

(நபியே!) தன் கணவனைப் பற்றி உம்மிடம் தர்க்கித்து, (அதைப் பற்றி) அல்லாஹ்விடமும் முறையிட்டாளே அத்தகையவளுடைய கூற்றை (முறையீட்டை)த் திட்டமாக அல்லாஹ் செவியேற்றுக்கொண்டான், அல்லாஹ் உங்களிருவரின் (வாக்கு) வாதத்தையும் செவியேற்றான், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக செவியேற்கிறவன், (அனைத்தையும்) பார்க்கிறவன்.

Indeed, Allah has heard the words of the woman who was arguing with you [O Prophet] concerning her husband, and was complaining to Allah. Allah has heard the discussion between the two of you, for Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

Allatheena yuthahiroona minkum min nisaihim ma hunna ommahatihim in ommahatuhum illa allaee waladnahum wainnahum layaqooloona munkaran mina alqawli wazooran wainna Allaha laAAafuwwun ghafoorun

Those among you who make their wives unlawful to them by Zihâr they cannot be their mothers. None can be their mothers except those who gave them birth. And verily, they utter an ill word and a lie. And verily, Allâh is Oft-Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving.

Those who pronounce thihar among you [to separate] from their wives - they are not [consequently] their mothers. Their mothers are none but those who gave birth to them. And indeed, they are saying an objectionable statement and a falsehood. But indeed, Allah is Pardoning and Forgiving.

உங்களில் எவரேனும் தம் மனைவிகளில் எவளையும், தன்னுடைய தாயென்று கூறிவிடுவதனால், அவள் அவர்களுடைய (உண்மைத்) தாயாகி விடமாட்டாள். அவர்களைப் பெற்றெடுத் தவர்கள்தாம் (உண்மைத்) தாயாவார்கள். (இதற்கு மாறாக எவளையும் எவரும் தாயென்று கூறினால் கூறுகின்ற) அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாகத் தகாததும், பொய்யானதுமான ஒரு வார்த்தையையே கூறுகின்றனர். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவனும் (குற்றங்களைப்) பொறுப்பவனுமாக இருக்கின்றான். (ஆகவே, இத்தகைய குற்றம் செய்தவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்விடம் மன்னிப்பைக் கோரவும்.)

“உங்களில் சிலர் தம் மனைவியரைத் “தாய்கள்” எனக் கூறிவிடுகின்றனர்; அதனால் அவர்கள் இவர்களுடைடைய தாய்கள்” (ஆகிவிடுவது) இல்லை; இவர்களைப் பெற்றெடுத்தவர்கள் தாம் இவர்களுடைய தாய்கள் ஆவார்கள் - எனினும், நிச்சயமாக இவர்கள் சொல்லில் வெறுக்கத்தக்கதையும், பொய்யானதையுமே கூறுகிறார்கள் - ஆனால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் பொறுப்பவன்; மிகவும் மன்னிப்பவன்.

உங்களில் தம் மனைவியரைத் தாய்க்கு ஒப்பிட்டு (நீ என் மீது என் தாயைப் போன்றவள் எனக்) கூறிவிடுகிறார்களே அத்தகையோர் (ஒப்பிட்டுக் கூறப்பட்ட மனைவியரான) அவர்கள் (ஒப்பிட்டுக் கூறிய) அவர்களுடைய தாய்மார்களல்லர், அவர்களைப் பெற்றெடுத்தார்களே அத்தகையோரைத் தவிர, (வேறு எவரும்) அவர்களுடைய தாய்மார்களல்லர், மேலும், நிச்சயமாக (தம் மனைவியரைத் தாயென்று கூறினால் கூறுகின்ற) அவர்கள் சொல்லால் வெறுக்கத்தக்கதையும், பொய்யையும் கூறுகின்றனர், மேலும், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (குற்றங்களை) மிகவும் பொறுப்பவன், மிக்க மன்னிப்பவன்.

As for those among you who divorce their wives by likening them to their mothers, they are not their mothers; their mothers are none but those who gave birth to them. They utter words that are abhorrent and false, but Allah is Most Pardoning, Most Forgiving.

Waallatheena yuthahiroona min nisaihim thumma yaAAoodoona lima qaloo fatahreeru raqabatin min qabli an yatamassa thalikum tooAAathoona bihi waAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun

And those who make unlawful to them (their wives) by Zihâr and wish to free themselves from what they uttered, (then penalty in that case is) the freeing of a slave before they touch each other. That is an admonition to you (so that you may not repeat such an ill thing). And Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do.

And those who pronounce thihar from their wives and then [wish to] go back on what they said - then [there must be] the freeing of a slave before they touch one another. That is what you are admonished thereby; and Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

ஆகவே, எவரேனும் தங்கள் மனைவிகளை(த் தன்) தாய்க்கு ஒப்பிட்டுக் கூறிய பின்னர், அவர்களிடம் திரும்ப (சேர்ந்துகொள்ள) விரும்பினால், அவ்விருவரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் தொடுவதற்கு முன்னதாகவே (இவ்வாறு ஒப்பிட்டுக் கூறிய குற்றத்திற்குப் பரிகாரமாக) ஓர் அடிமையை விடுதலை செய்ய வேண்டும். இதனை (அல்லாஹ்) உங்களுக்கு உபதேசம் செய்கின்றான். அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவைகளை நன்கறிபவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

மேலும் எவர் தம் மனைவியரைத் தாய்களெனக் கூறிய பின் (வருந்தித்) தாம் கூறியதை விட்டும் திரும்பி (மீண்டும் தாம்பத்திய வாழ்வை நாடி)னால், அவ்விருவரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் தீண்டுவதற்கு முன்னர் ஓர் அடிமையை விடுவிக்க வேண்டும். அதனைக் கொண்டே நீங்கள் உபதேசிக்கப்படுகிறீர்கள் - மேலும், அல்லாஹ், நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கறிபவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

மேலும், தங்கள் மனைவியரைத் (தம்) தாய்க்கு ஒப்பிட்டுக்கூறி, பின்னர் தாம் கூறியவற்றிலிருந்து (திரும்பி தாம்பத்திய வாழ்க்கையில்) மீண்டு கொள்வார்களே அத்தகையோர்_அவ்விருவரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் தீண்டுவதற்கு முன்னர், (பரிகாரமாக) ஓர் அடிமையை விடுதலை செய்தலாகும், இது (அல்லாஹ்வின் சட்டமாகும்) இதனைக் கொண்டு நீங்கள் உபதேசிக்கப்படுகிறீர்கள், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கறிகிறவன்.

But those who divorce their wives by likening them to their mothers then retract what they said, they must free a slave before they are intimate with each other. This is what you are admonished, and Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

Faman lam yajid fasiyamu shahrayni mutatabiAAayni min qabli an yatamassa faman lam yastatiAA faitAAamu sitteena miskeenan thalika lituminoo biAllahi warasoolihi watilka hudoodu Allahi walilkafireena AAathabun aleemun

And he who finds not (the money for freeing a slave) must fast two successive months before they both touch each other. And he who is unable to do so, should feed sixty Masâkin (needy). That is in order that you may have perfect faith in Allâh and His Messenger. These are the limits set by Allâh. And for the disbelievers is a painful torment.

And he who does not find [a slave] - then a fast for two months consecutively before they touch one another; and he who is unable - then the feeding of sixty poor persons. That is for you to believe [completely] in Allah and His Messenger; and those are the limits [set by] Allah. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.

(விடுதலை செய்யக்கூடிய அடிமையை) எவரேனும் பெற்றிருக்காவிடில், அவ்விருவரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் தொடுவதற்கு முன்னதாகவே, (அவன்) இரண்டு மாதங்கள் தொடர்ச்சியாக நோன்பு நோற்கவும். (இவ்வாறு நோன்பு நோற்க) சக்தி பெறாதவன். அறுபது ஏழைகளுக்கு (மத்திய தரமான) உணவளிக்கவும். அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் நீங்கள் (மெய்யாகவே) நம்பிக்கை கொண்டிருக்கின்றீர்கள் என்பதற்காக (இந்த கட்டளையை இவ்வாறு இலேசாக்கி வைத்தான்). இவைகள் அல்லாஹ் ஏற்படுத்திய வரம்புகளாகும். (இதனை) மீறுபவர்களுக்கு துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையுண்டு.

ஆனால் (அடிமையை விடுதலை செய்ய வசதி) எவர் பெறவில்லையோ, அவர், அவ்விருவரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் தீண்டுவதற்கு முன் இரண்டு மாதங்கள் தொடர்ச்சியாக நோன்பு நோற்க வேண்டும்; எவர் இதற்கும் சக்தி பெறவில்லையோ, அவர் அறுபது ஏழைகளுக்கு உணவு அளித்தல் - வேண்டும்; நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும் அவனுடைய தூதர் மீதும் விசுவாசம் கொள்வதற்காக (இவ்வாறு கட்டளையிடப்பட்டுள்ளது). மேலும் இவை அல்லாஹ் விதிக்கும் வரம்புகளாகும்; அன்றியும், காஃபிர்களுக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனை உண்டு.

பின்னர், (அடிமையை_) எவர் பெற்றிருக்கவில்லையோ அவர், அவ்விருவரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் தீண்டுவதற்கு முன்னர் (அதற்குள்ள பரிகாரம்) இரண்டு மாதங்கள் தொடர்ச்சியாக நோன்பு நோற்பதாகும், (இவ்வாறு நோன்பு நோற்க) எவர் சக்தி பெறவில்லையோ, அப்பொழுது அவர் அறுபது ஏழைகளுக்கு (மத்திய தரமான) ஆகாரமளித்தலாகும், இது அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் நீங்கள் விசுவாசங்கொள்வதற்காக (இவ்வாறு இலேசாக்கி வைத்தான்), இன்னும், இவைகள் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வரம்புகளாகும், நிராகரிப்போருக்குத் துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையுமுண்டு.

But whoever cannot afford this must fast for two consecutive months before the couple have intimate relation with each other. But if he is unable to do that, he must feed sixty needy people. This is so that you may truly believe in Allah and His Messenger. These are the limits ordained by Allah, and for the disbelievers there will be a painful punishment.

Inna allatheena yuhaddoona Allaha warasoolahu kubitoo kama kubita allatheena min qablihim waqad anzalna ayatin bayyinatin walilkafireena AAathabun muheenun

Verily, those who oppose Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), will be disgraced as those before them (among the past nations) were disgraced. And We have sent down clear Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). And for the disbelievers is a disgraceful torment

Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger are abased as those before them were abased. And We have certainly sent down verses of clear evidence. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.

எவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் மாறு செய்கின்றார்களோ அவர்கள், நிச்சயமாக அவர்களுக்கு முன்னுள்ளோர் இழிவுபடுத்தப்பட்டபடியே இழிவுபடுத்தப்படுவார்கள். நிச்சயமாக (இதைப் பற்றி)த் தெளிவான வசனங்களையே நாம் இறக்கி இருக்கின்றோம். (அதற்கு) மாறு செய்பவர்களுக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனையுண்டு.

எவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் எதிர்க்கின்றார்களோ, நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள், அவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தவர்கள் இழிவாக்கப்பட்டதைப் போல் இழிவாக்கப்படுவார்கள் - திட்டமாக நாம் தெளிவான வசனங்களை இறக்கியுள்ளோம். காஃபிர்களுக்கு இழிவுபடுத்தும் வேதனை உண்டு.

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் மாறு செய்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர்_ அவர்களுக்கு முன்னுள்ளோர் இழிவாக்கப் பட்டது போன்றே அவர்கள் இழிவாக்கப்படுவார்கள், மேலும், திட்டமாக (இதைப்பற்றித்) தெளிவான வசனங்களை நாம் இறக்கியிருக்கின்றோம், நிராகரிப்போருக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனையுமுண்டு.

Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger will be debased, just as those who came before them were debased, for We have surely sent down clear signs. And for the disbelievers there will be a humiliating punishment.

Yawma yabAAathuhumu Allahu jameeAAan fayunabbiohum bima AAamiloo ahsahu Allahu wanasoohu waAllahu AAala kulli shayin shaheedun

On the Day when Allâh will resurrect them all together (i.e. on the Day of Resurrection) and inform them of what they did. Allâh has kept account of it, while they have forgotten it. And Allâh is Witness over all things.

On the Day when Allah will resurrect them all and inform them of what they did. Allah had enumerated it, while they forgot it; and Allah is, over all things, Witness.

அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் அல்லாஹ் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்பும் நாளில், அவர்கள் செய்தவைகளைப் பற்றி அவர்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பான். அதனை அவர்கள் மறந்துவிட்டபோதிலும், அவைகளை அல்லாஹ் சேகரித்து வைக்கின்றான். (அவர்கள் செய்யும்) அனைத்தையும் அல்லாஹ் தெரிந்தவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் உயிர் கொடுத்து எழுப்பி, பின்னர் அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றை அவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கும் நாளில், அவர்கள் அவற்றை மறந்து விட்ட போதிலும், அல்லாஹ் கணக்கெடுத்து வைத்திருக்கிறான். மேலும், அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் மீதும் சாட்சியாக இருக்கின்றான்.

அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் அல்லாஹ் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்பும் நாளில், அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றை அவர்களுக்கு அவன் அறிவிப்பான், அல்லாஹ் (அவர்கள் செய்த) அவற்றைக் கணக்கிட்டுவைத்துள்ளான், (ஆனால்,) அவர்களோ அவற்றை மறந்து விட்டார்கள். மேலும், அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் மீதும் சாட்சியாக இருக்கின்றான்.

On the Day when Allah will resurrect them all together, and will inform them of what they did; Allah has kept their complete record, while they have forgotten it. For Allah is Witness over all things.

Alam tara anna Allaha yaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi ma yakoonu min najwa thalathatin illa huwa rabiAAuhum wala khamsatin illa huwa sadisuhum wala adna min thalika wala akthara illa huwa maAAahum ayna ma kanoo thumma yunabbiohum bima AAamiloo yawma alqiyamati inna Allaha bikulli shayin AAaleemun

Have you not seen that Allâh knows whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth? There is no Najwâ (secret counsel) of three but He is their fourth (with His Knowledge, while He Himself is over the Throne, over the seventh heaven), – nor of five but He is their sixth (with His Knowledge), – nor of less than that or more but He is with them (with His Knowledge) wheresoever they may be. And afterwards on the Day of Resurrection He will inform them of what they did. Verily, Allâh is All-Knower of everything.

Have you not considered that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth? There is in no private conversation three but that He is the fourth of them, nor are there five but that He is the sixth of them - and no less than that and no more except that He is with them [in knowledge] wherever they are. Then He will inform them of what they did, on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing.

(நபியே!) வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலுமுள்ளவை அனைத்தையும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அறிகின்றான் என்பதை நீங்கள் கவனிக்க வில்லையா? அவர்களில் மூன்று பேர்கள் (கூடிப் பேசும்) ரகசியத்தில் அவன் நான்காவதாக இல்லாமல் இல்லை. ஐந்து பேர்கள் (கூடிப் பேசும்) இரகசியத்தில் அவன் ஆறாவதாக இல்லாமலில்லை. இதைவிட குறைவாகவோ அல்லது அதிகமாகவோ உள்ளவர்கள் (கூடிப் பேசும்) இரகசியத்திலும், அவன் அவர்களுடன் இல்லாமல் இல்லை. இவ்வாறு அவர்கள் எங்கிருந்த போதிலும் (ரகசியம் பேசினால் அவன் அவர்களுடைய ரகசியங்களை அறிந்து கொள்கின்றான்.) பின்னர், அவர்கள் செய்தவைகளைப் பற்றி அவர்களுக்கு மறுமை நாளில் அறிவித்து (அதற்குரிய கூலியைக் கொடுக்கின்றான்.) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தையும் நன்கறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வானங்களிலுள்ளவற்றையும் பூமியிலுள்ளவற்றையும் அறிகிறான் என்பதை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? மூன்று பேர்களின் இரகசியத்தில் அவன் அவர்களில் நான்காவதாக இல்லாமலில்லை; இன்னும் ஐந்து பேர்களி(ன் இரகசியத்தி)ல் அவன் ஆறாவதாக இல்லாமலில்லை; இன்னும் அதைவிட மிகக் குறைந்தோ, அதைவிட மிக அதிகமாகவோ, அவர்கள் எங்கிருந்தாலும் அவன் அவர்களுடன் இல்லாமலில்லை - அப்பால் கியாம நாளில் அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றைப் பற்றி அவர்களுக்கு அவன் அறிவிப்பான்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் எல்லாப் பொருட்களைப் பற்றியும் நன்கறிந்தவன்.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வானங்களிலுள்ளவற்றையும், பூமிலுள்ளவற்றையும் நன்கறிகின்றான் என்பதை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? மூவரின் இரகசியத்தில் அவன் அவர்களில் நான்கவதாக இல்லாமலில்லை, ஐவருடைய (இரகசியத்)தில் அவன் அவர்களில் ஆறாவதாக இல்லாமலில்லை, அதைவிடக் குறைவாகவோ, அல்லது அதிகமாகவோ அவர்கள் எங்கிருந்தபோதிலும் அவன் அவர்களுடன் இல்லாமலில்லை, (எந்நிலையிலும் அவன் அவர்களுடைய இரகசியங்களை அறிந்து கொள்கிறான்.) பின்னர், அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றை அவர்களுக்கு மறுமை நாளில் அவன் அறிவிப்பான், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ், ஒவ்வொரு பொருளைப்பற்றியும் நன்கறிந்தவன்.

Do you not see that Allah knows all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth? No secret consultation takes place between three, but He is their fourth, or between five, but He is their sixth, or between fewer or more than that, but He is with them wherever they may be. Then He will inform them of what they did on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing of everything.

Alam tara ila allatheena nuhoo AAani alnnajwa thumma yaAAoodoona lima nuhoo AAanhu wayatanajawna bialithmi waalAAudwani wamaAAsiyati alrrasooli waitha jaooka hayyawka bima lam yuhayyika bihi Allahu wayaqooloona fee anfusihim lawla yuAAaththibuna Allahu bima naqoolu hasbuhum jahannamu yaslawnaha fabisa almaseeru

Have you not seen those who were forbidden to hold secret counsel, and afterwards returned to that which they had been forbidden, and conspired together for sin and wrongdoing and disobedience to the Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]). And when they come to you, they greet you with a greeting wherewith Allâh greets you not, and say within themselves: "Why should Allâh punish us not for what we say?" Hell will be sufficient for them; they will burn therein. And worst indeed is that destination!

Have you not considered those who were forbidden from private conversation, then they return to that which they were forbidden and converse among themselves about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger? And when they come to you, they greet you with that [word] by which Allah does not greet you and say among themselves, "Why does Allah not punish us for what we say?" Sufficient for them is Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the destination.

(நபியே!) ரகசியமே கூடாதென்று தடுக்கப்பட்டிருந்தும், தடுக்கப்பட்டதை நோக்கியே செல்லும் அவர்களை நீங்கள் கவனித் தீர்களா? பாவத்திற்கும், வரம்பு மீறுவதற்கும், (நம்முடைய) தூதருக்கு மாறு செய்வதற்குமே, அவர்கள் ரகசியமாகச் சதி ஆலோசனை செய்கின்றனர். பின்னர் அவர்கள் உங்களிடம் வந்தாலோ, அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்குக் கூறாத வார்த்தையைக் (கொண்டு, அதாவது: "அஸ்ஸலாமு அலைக்க" உங்கள்மீது சாந்தியும், சமாதானமும் உண்டாவதாக! என்று கூறுவதற்குப் பதிலாக, "அஸ்ஸாமு அலைக்க" உங்களுக்கு மரணம் உண்டாவதாக! என்று) கூறிவிட்டு, அவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் (இவர் உண்மையான தூதராக இருந்தால் "பரிகாசமாக) நாம் கூறியதைப் பற்றி, அல்லாஹ் நம்மை வேதனை செய்யமாட்டானா?" என்றும் கூறுகின்றனர். நரகமே அவர்களுக்குப் போதுமானதாகும். அதனை அவர்கள் அடைந்தே தீருவார்கள். அது செல்லுமிடங்களில் மகா கெட்டது.

இரகசியம் பேசுவதை விட்டுத்தடுக்கப்பட்டிருந்தும், எதை விட்டும் தடுக்கப்பட்டார்களோ அதன் பால் மீண்டு பாவத்தையும் வரம்பு மீறுதலையும், ரஸூலுக்கு மாறு செய்வதையும் கொண்டு இரகசியமாக ஆலோசனை செய்கிறார்களே அவர்களை (நபியே!) நீர் கவனிக்கவில்லையா? பின்னர் அவர்கள் உம்மிடம் வரும்போது அல்லாஹ் உம்மை எ(வ்வாசகத்)தைக் கொண்டு ஸலாம் (முகமன்) கூறவில்லையோ அதைக் கொண்டு (முகமன்) கூறுகிறார்கள். பிறகு, அவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் “நாம் (இவ்வாறு) சொல்லியதற்காக ஏன் அல்லாஹ் நம்மை வேதனைக்குள்ளாக்கவில்லை” என்றும் கூறிக் கொள்கின்றனர். நரகமே அவர்களுக்கு போதுமானதாகும்; அவர்கள் அதில் நுழைவார்கள் - மீளும் தலத்தில் அது மிகக் கெட்டதாகும்.

(நபியே!) இரகசியம் பேசுவதை விட்டும் தடுக்கப்பட்டார்களே அத்தகையோரை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? பின்னர் எதை விட்டும் தடுக்கப்பட்டார்களோ, அதன்பாலே அவர்கள் திரும்புகிறார்கள். இன்னும் அவர்கள் (தங்களுக்கு மத்தியில்) பாவ(மானவிஷய)த்தையும், (மற்றவர்கள் விஷயத்தில்) வரம்பு மீறுதலையும், (நம்முடைய) தூதருக்கு மாறு செய்வதையும் கொண்டு அவர்கள் இரகசியமாகப் பேசுகின்றனர், மேலும், அவர்கள் உம்மிடம் வந்தால், அல்லாஹ் எவ்வார்த்தையைக் கொண்டு, முகமன் கூறவில்லையோ அதைக்கொண்டு உமக்கு முகமன் கூறுகிறார்கள், நாம் கூறியதைப் பற்றி (அவர் தன் தூதில் உண்மையாளராக இருந்தால்) அல்லாஹ் நம்மை வேதனை செய்யக்கூடாதா?” என்றும் தங்கள் மனங்களில் கூறுகின்றனர், நரகம் அவர்களுக்குப் போதுமானதாகும், அதில் அவர்கள் நுழைவார்கள், அது திரும்பிச் செல்லுமிடத்தால் மிகக் கெட்டது.

Have you not seen those who were forbidden from holding secret talks, yet they go back to do what they were forbidden from, conspiring in sin and aggression, and in disobedience to the Messenger? When they come to you, they greet you other than the way Allah greets you, and they say to one another, “Why does Allah not punish us for what we say?” Sufficient is Hell for them; they will enter it. What a terrible destination!

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha tanajaytum fala tatanajaw bialithmi waalAAudwani wamaAAsiyati alrrasooli watanajaw bialbirri waalttaqwa waittaqoo Allaha allathee ilayhi tuhsharoona

O you who believe! When you hold secret counsel, do it not for sin and wrongdoing, and disobedience towards the Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), but do it for Al-Birr (righteousness) and At-Taqwâ (virtues and piety); and fear Allâh to Whom you shall be gathered.

O you who have believed, when you converse privately, do not converse about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger but converse about righteousness and piety. And fear Allah, to whom you will be gathered.

நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! உங்களுக்குள் நீங்கள் ரகசியம் பேசினால் பாவம் செய்வதற்காகவும், வரம்பு மீறுவதற்காகவும், (நம்முடைய) தூதருக்கு மாறு செய்வதற்காகவும், ரகசியம் பேசாதீர்கள். ஆயினும், நன்மை செய்வதற்காகவும் பரிசுத்தத் தன்மைக்காகவும் இரகசியம் பேசலாம். (அனைத்தையும் அறிந்த) அல்லாஹ்வின் சமூகத்திற்கு நீங்கள் கொண்டு போகப்படுவீர்கள். ஆகவே, அவனுக்கு நீங்கள் பயந்து நடந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! நீங்கள் இரகசியம் பேசிக் கொண்டால், பாவத்தையும் வரம்பு மீறுதலையும், (நம்) தூதருக்கு மாறு செய்வதையும் கொண்டு இரகசியம் பேசாதீர்கள்; ஆனால் நன்மை செய்வதற்காகவும் பயபக்தியுடன் இருப்பதற்காகவும் இரகசியம் பேசிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்; மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு - எவன்பால் நீங்கள் ஒன்று சேர்க்கப்படுவீர்களோ - அவனுக்கே அஞ்சி நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே! நீங்கள் ஒருவர் மற்றவருடன் இரகசியம் பேசினால், பாவத்தையும் வரம்பு மீறுதலையும், (நம்) தூதருக்கு மாறு செய்வதையும் கொண்டு இரகசியம் பேசாதீர்கள், நன்மையையும், பயபக்தியையும் கொண்டு நீங்கள் இரகசியம் பேசுங்கள் மேலும், எவன் பக்கம் ஒன்று திரட்டப் படுவீர்களோ அத்தகைய அல்லாஹ்வை நீங்கள் பயந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

O you who believe, when you hold secret talk, do not do so in sin and aggression, and in disobedience to the Messenger, rather do so in righteousness and piety. And fear Allah, to Whom you will be gathered.

Innama alnnajwa mina alshshaytani liyahzuna allatheena amanoo walaysa bidarrihim shayan illa biithni Allahi waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona

Secret counsel (conspiracy) is only from Shaitân (Satan), in order that he may cause grief to the believers. But he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allâh permits. And in Allâh let the believers put their trust.

Private conversation is only from Satan that he may grieve those who have believed, but he will not harm them at all except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely.

(அவர்களை) ஷைத்தான் இரகசியமாகப் பேசும்படி செய்வதெல்லாம், நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களுக்குக் கவலையை உண்டுபண்ணுவதற்காகவே. அல்லாஹ்வுடைய நாட்டமின்றி, அவர்களுக்கு அவர்களால் யாதொன்றும் தீங்கிழைத்துவிட முடியாது. ஆகவே, நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையே நம்பியிருக்கவும்.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களைக் கவலைப்படச் செய்வதற்காக ஷைத்தானிடமிருந்துள்ளதே (இந்த) இரகசிய(ப் பேச்சாகு)ம்; ஆனால், அல்லாஹ்வுடையை அனுமதியின்றி (அவர்களுக்கு) அவனால் எந்தத் தீங்கும் செய்ய முடியாது; எனவே முஃமின்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையே முற்றிலும் நம்பியிருக்க வேண்டும்.

(பாவமானதையும், வரம்பு மீறுதலையும் கொண்டு) இரகசியம் பேசுவதெல்லாம் விசுவாசங்கொண்டவர்களை கவலையடையச் செய்வதற்காக ஷைத்தானிடமிருந்துள்ளதாகும், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய அனுமதியின்றி அவர்களுக்கு அவன் யாதொன்றையும் தீங்கிழைத்துவிடக்கூடிய (சக்தி பெற்ற)வன் அல்லன், ஆகவே, விசுவாசங் கொண்டவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதே (தங்களின் காரியங்களை ஒப்படைத்து முழுமையாக) நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளவும்.

Secret talks are only prompted by Satan to grieve the believers, but he cannot harm them in the least except with Allah’s permission. So let the believers put their trust in Allah.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha qeela lakum tafassahoo fee almajalisi faifsahoo yafsahi Allahu lakum waitha qeela onshuzoo faonshuzoo yarfaAAi Allahu allatheena amanoo minkum waallatheena ootoo alAAilma darajatin waAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun

O you who believe! When you are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room. Allâh will give you (ample) room (from His Mercy). And when you are told to rise up [for prayers, or Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh's Cause), or for any other good deed], rise up. Allâh will exalt in degree those of you who believe, and those who have been granted knowledge. And Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do.

O you who have believed, when you are told, "Space yourselves" in assemblies, then make space; Allah will make space for you. And when you are told, "Arise," then arise; Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! (நீங்கள் யாதொரு சபையிலிருக்கும் பொழுது, எவரேனும்) உங்களை நோக்கிச் "சபையில் அகன்று இடம் கொடுங்கள்" என்று கூறினால், (அவ்வாறே) நீங்கள் அகன்று கொடுங்கள். இடத்தை அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு விசாலமாக்கி கொடுப்பான். தவிர, (சபையில் யாதொரு காரணத்திற்காக உங்களை நோக்கி) "எழுந்து (சென்று) விடுங்கள்" என்று கூறப்பட்டால், அவ்வாறே நீங்கள் எழுந்து (சென்று) விடுங்கள். (இவ்வாறு நடந்து கொள்ளும்) உங்களிலுள்ள நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக்கும், கல்வி ஞானம் உடையவர்களுக்கும் அல்லாஹ் பதவிகளை உயர்த்துவான். அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவைகளை நன்கறிவான்.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! சபைகளில் “நகர்ந்து இடங்கொடுங்கள்” என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்பட்டால், நகர்ந்து இடம் கொடுங்கள்; அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு இடங்கொடுப்பான்; தவிர, “எழுந்திருங்கள்” என்று கூறப்பட்டால், உடனே எழுந்திருங்கள்; அன்றியும், உங்களில் ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களுக்கும்; கல்வி ஞானம் அளிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கும் அல்லாஹ் பதவிகளை உயர்த்துவான் - அல்லாஹ்வோ நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கு அறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

(விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே!) “சபைகளில் விசாலமாக இடமளியுங்கள்” என்று உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டால், (அவ்வாறே) நீங்கள் விசாலமாக இடமளியுங்கள், அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு விசாலமாக்கி வைப்பான், தவிர, (சபையிலிருந்து) ”எழுந்து விடுங்கள்” எனக் கூறப்பட்டால், அப்போது எழுந்து விடுங்கள், உங்களிலுள்ள விசுவாசிகளுக்கும், கல்வி அறிவு கொடுக்கப்பட்டோருக்கும் அல்லாஹ் பதவிகளை உயர்த்துவான், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கறிகிறவன்.

O you who believe, when you are told to make room in your gatherings, then make room; Allah will give you abundance. And when you are told to rise, then rise; Allah will raise in ranks those who believed from among you and those who are given knowledge. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha najaytumu alrrasoola faqaddimoo bayna yaday najwakum sadaqatan thalika khayrun lakum waatharu fain lam tajidoo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

O you who believe! When you (want to) consult the Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation. That will be better and purer for you. But if you find not (the means for it), then verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

O you who have believed, when you [wish to] privately consult the Messenger, present before your consultation a charity. That is better for you and purer. But if you find not [the means] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! நீங்கள் நம்முடைய தூதருடன் இரகசியம் பேச விரும்பினால், உங்கள் இரகசியத்திற்கு முன்னதாகவே (ஏழைகளுக்கு) ஏதும் தானம் செய்துவிடுங்கள். இது உங்களுக்கு நன்மையும் பரிசுத்தத் தன்மையும் ஆகும். (தானம் கொடுப்பதற்கு எதனையும்) நீங்கள் அடைந்திராவிட்டால், (அதைப்பற்றி உங்கள் மீது குற்றமில்லை.) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக மன்னிப்பவனும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! நீங்கள் (நம்) தூதருடன் இரகசியம் பேச நேரிட்டால் உங்கள் இரகசியத்திற்கு முன்னர் ஏதேனும் தான தர்மத்தை முற்படுத்துங்கள். இது உங்களுக்கு, நன்மையாகவும், (உள்ளத்திற்குத்) தூய்மையாகவும் இருக்கும், ஆனால் (தான தர்மம் செய்வதற்கு) நீங்கள் வசதிபெற்றிராவிடின் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக மன்னிப்பவன்; மிக்க கிருபையுடையவன்.

விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே! நீங்கள் (நம்முடைய) தூதருடன் இரகசியம் பேசினால், உங்கள் இரகசியப்பேச்சிற்கு முன்னர் தர்மத்தை முற்படுத்துங்கள், இது உங்களுக்கு மிகச்சிறந்ததும், மிகப்பரிசுத்தமானதுமாகும், (தர்மம் கொடுப்பதற்கு எதனையும்) நீங்கள் பெற்றுக் கொள்ளவில்லையானால், (அது குற்றமல்ல,) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவன், மிகக்கிருபையுடைவன்.

O you who believe, when you consult the Messenger in private, give something in charity before your consultation; that is better for you and more conducive to purity. But if you do not have the means, then Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Aashfaqtum an tuqaddimoo bayna yaday najwakum sadaqatin faith lam tafAAaloo wataba Allahu AAalaykum faaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata waateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona

Are you afraid of spending in charity before your private consultation (with him)? If then you do it not, and Allâh has forgiven you, then (at least) perform As-Salât (the prayers) and give Zakât (obligatory charity) and obey Allâh (i.e. do all that Allâh and His Messenger order you to do). And Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do.

Have you feared to present before your consultation charities? Then when you do not and Allah has forgiven you, then [at least] establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

நீங்கள் உங்கள் இரகசியத்திற்கு முன்னர், நீங்கள் தானம் கொடுப்பதைப் பற்றிப் பயந்துவிட்டீர்களா? (மெய்யாகவே) உங்களால் (தானம்) செய்ய முடியாவிடில், அல்லாஹ் உங்களை மன்னித்து விடுவான். எனினும், தொழுகையைக் கடைப்பிடித்து, ஜகாத்தும் கொடுத்து, அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் (உண்மையாகவே) வழிப்பட்டு நடந்துகொள்ளுங்கள். நீங்கள் செய்பவைகளை அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

நீங்கள் உங்கள் இரகசியப் பேச்சுக்கு முன்னால் தான தர்மங்கள் முற்படுத்திவைக்க வேண்டுமே என்று அஞ்சுகிறீர்களா? அப்படி நீங்கள் செய்ய (இயல)வில்லையெனின் (அதற்காக தவ்பா செய்யும்) உங்களை அல்லாஹ் மன்னிக்கிறான்; ஆகவே, தொழுகையை முறைப்படி நிலைநிறுத்துங்கள்; இன்னும், ஜகாத்தும் கொடுத்து வாருங்கள்; மேலும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவன் தூதருக்கும் வழிப்படுங்கள்; அன்றியும் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றையெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ் நன்கு அறிகிறான்.

நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய இரகசியப்பேச்சிற்கு முன்னர், தர்மங்களை முற்படுத்த வேண்டுமென்று நீங்கள் பயந்துவிட்டீர்களா? எனவே, அச்சமயம் நீங்கள் செய்யாதபோது, அல்லாஹ் உங்களை மன்னித்தும் விட்டான், ஆகவே, தொழுகையை முறையாக நிறைவேற்றுங்கள் ஜகாத்தையும் கொடுங்கள், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படிந்து நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் அன்றியும் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை அல்லாஹ் நன்குணர்பவன்.

Are you afraid of giving charities before your consultations with him? If you are unable to do so, and Allah has pardoned you, then establish prayer and give zakah, and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

Alam tara ila allatheena tawallaw qawman ghadiba Allahu AAalayhim ma hum minkum wala minhum wayahlifoona AAala alkathibi wahum yaAAlamoona

Have you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) not seen those (hypocrites) who take as friends a people upon whom is the Wrath of Allâh (i.e. Jews)? They are neither of you (Muslims) nor of them (Jews), and they swear to a lie while they know.

Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth while they know [they are lying].

(நபியே!) அல்லாஹ் எவர்கள் மீது கோபமானானோ, அந்த மக்களுடன் உறவாடுகிறவர்களை நீங்கள் பார்த்தீர்களா? இவர்கள் உங்களிலும் உள்ளவர்களல்ல; அவர்களிலும் உள்ளவர்களல்ல. இவர்கள் நன்கறிந்திருந்தும் (உங்களுடன் இருப்பதாக) வேண்டு மென்றே பொய்ச் சத்தியம் செய்கின்றனர்.

எந்த சமூகத்தார் மீது அல்லாஹ் கோபம் கொண்டானோ, அவர்களுடன் சிநேகிக்கிறவர்களை (நபியே!) நீர் கவனித்தீரா? அவர்கள் உங்களில் உள்ளவர்களும் அல்லர்; அவர்களில் உள்ளவர்களும் அல்லர். அவர்கள் அறிந்து கொண்டே (உங்களுடன் இருப்பதாகப்) பொய்ச் சத்தியம் செய்கின்றனர்.

(நபியே!) அல்லாஹ் எவர்கள் மீது கோபம் கொண்டுவிட்டானோ, அக்கூட்டத்தினரை சிநேகிதர்களாக ஆக்கிகொண்டார்களே அத்தகையோர் பக்கம் நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? அவர்கள் உங்களில் உள்ளவர்களல்லர், (நீங்கள்) அவர்களிலும் உள்ளவர்களல்லர், அவர்கள் அறிந்தவர்களாக இருக்கும் நிலையில் (உங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களென) பொய்யின் மீது சத்தியம் செய்கின்றனர்.

Do you not see those [hypocrites] who take as allies people who have incurred Allah’s wrath. They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear falsely while they know.

aAAadda Allahu lahum AAathaban shadeedan innahum saa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona

Allâh has prepared for them a severe torment. Evil indeed is that which they used to do.

Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.

இவர்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ், கடினமான வேதனையை தயார்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்கின்றான். நிச்சயமாக இவர்கள் செய்யும் காரியம் மகா கெட்டது.

அவர்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ் கடினமான வேதனையைச் சித்தம் செய்திருக்கின்றான். நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருப்பவை யெல்லாம் மிகவும் கெட்டவையே.

அவர்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ் கடினமான வேதனையை தயாராக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றான். நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள்_ அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தது மிகக்கெட்டது.

Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment. Evil is indeed what they do.

Ittakhathoo aymanahum junnatan fasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi falahum AAathabun muheenun

They have made their oaths a screen (for their evil actions). Thus they hinder (men) from the path of Allâh, so they shall have a humiliating torment.

They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah, and for them is a humiliating punishment.

இவர்கள் தங்களுடைய (பொய்ச்) சத்தியங்களைக் கேடயமாக வைத்துக்கொண்டு (மக்களை) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையிலிருந்து தடுத்துவிட்டனர். ஆகவே, இவர்களுக்கு மிக்க இழிவு தரும் வேதனையுண்டு.

அவர்கள் தங்கள் சத்தியங்களைக் கேடயமாக ஆக்கிக்கொண்டு, (மக்களை) அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையை விட்டும் தடுக்கிறார்கள்; ஆகவே அவர்களுக்கு இழிவுபடுத்தும் வேதனை உண்டு.

அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய (பொய்யான) சத்தியங்களைக் கேடயமாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டுவிட்டனர், ஆகவே (மனிதர்களை) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையை விட்டும் தடுத்து விட்டனர். எனவே, அவர்களுக்கு இழிவுடைய வேதனையுண்டு.

They have taken their oaths as a shield, in order to hinder people from the way of Allah. For them there will be a humiliating punishment.

Lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shayan olaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

Their wealth and their children will avail them nothing against Allâh. They will be the dwellers of the Fire to dwell therein forever.

Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally

இவர்களுடைய பொருள்களும், இவர்களுடைய சந்ததிகளும், அல்லாஹ்வி(ன் வேதனையி)லிருந்து யாதொன்றையும் இவர்களை விட்டும் தடுத்துவிடாது. இவர்கள் நரகவாசிகள்தாம்; அதில் அவர்கள் என்றென்றும் தங்கிவிடுவார்கள்.

அவர்களுடைய சொத்துக்களும், அவர்களுடைய மக்களும், அல்லாஹ் வி(திக்கும் வேதனையி)லிருந்து (காப்பாற்ற) உதவாது; அவர்கள் நரகவாதிகள்; அவர்கள் அதில் என்றென்றும் இருப்பார்கள்.

அவர்களுடைய செல்வங்களும் அவர்களுடைய மக்களும், அல்லாஹ்வி(ன் வேதனையி)லிருந்து யாதொன்றையும், அவர்களை விட்டுத் தடுத்துவிடவே மாட்டாது, அத்தகையவர்கள் நரகவாசிகள் அவர்கள் அதில் நிரந்தரமாக(த் தங்கி) இருப்பவர்கள்.

Neither their wealth nor their children will avail them anything against Allah. They are the people of the Fire; they will abide therein forever.

Yawma yabAAathuhumu Allahu jameeAAan fayahlifoona lahu kama yahlifoona lakum wayahsaboona annahum AAala shayin ala innahum humu alkathiboona

On the Day when Allâh will resurrect them all together (for their account); then they will swear to Him as they swear to you (O Muslims). And they think that they have something (to stand upon). Verily, they are liars!

On the Day Allah will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you and think that they are [standing] on something. Unquestionably, it is they who are the liars.

அல்லாஹ் இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்பும் நாளிலும் (இன்றைய தினம்) உங்களிடம் அவர்கள் சத்தியம் செய்ததைப் போன்று, அல்லாஹ்விடத்திலும் சத்தியம் செய்துவிட்டு, நிச்சயமாகத் தாங்கள் ஏதோ (தப்பித்துக் கொள்ளக்கூடிய ஒரு நல்ல) காரியத்தைச் செய்துவிட்டதாகவும் எண்ணிக்கொள்வார்கள். மெய்யாகவே இவர்கள் பொய்யர் களன்றோ!

அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் அல்லாஹ் எழுப்பும் நாளில் அவர்கள் உங்களிடம் சத்தியம் செய்தது போல், அவனிடமும் சத்தியம் செய்வார்கள்; அன்றியும், அவர்கள் (அதன் மூலம் தப்பித்துக் கொள்வதற்கு) ஏதோ ஒன்றின் மீது நிச்சயமாகத் தாங்கள் இருப்பதாக எண்ணிக்கொள்வார்கள்; அறிந்து கொள்க: நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் பொய்யர்களே!

அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்புகின்ற (மறுமை) நாளில், அவர்கள் உங்களிடம் சத்தியம் செய்ததைப்போன்று, அவனிடத்திலும் (பொய்ச்) சத்தியம் செய்வார்கள், நிச்சயமாக தாங்கள் (உண்மையான) ஏதோ ஒன்றின்மீது இருப்பதாகவும் எண்ணிக்கொள்வார்கள், அறிந்து கொள்வீராக! நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள்_அவர்கள் தாம் பொய்யர்கள்.

On the Day when Allah will raise them all, they will swear to Him as they swear to you, thinking that they have something to stand on. Indeed, it is they who are the liars.

Istahwatha AAalayhimu alshshaytanu faansahum thikra Allahi olaika hizbu alshshaytani ala inna hizba alshshaytani humu alkhasiroona

Shaitân (Satan) has overpowered them. So he has made them forget the remembrance of Allâh. They are the party of Shaitân (Satan). Verily, it is the party of Shaitân (Satan) that will be the losers!

Satan has overcome them and made them forget the remembrance of Allah. Those are the party of Satan. Unquestionably, the party of Satan - they will be the losers.

ஷைத்தான் இவர்களை ஜெயித்து, அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றிய எண்ணத்தையே இவர்களுக்கு மறக்கடித்து விட்டான். இவர்கள்தாம் ஷைத்தானுடைய கூட்டத்தினர். ஷைத்தானுடைய கூட்டத்தினர் நிச்சயமாக நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்கள் என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

அவர்களை ஷைத்தான் மிகைத்து அல்லாஹ்வின் நினைப்பையும் அவர்கள் மறந்து விடுமாறு செய்து விட்டான் - அவர்களே ஷைத்தானின் கூட்டத்தினர்; அறிந்து கொள்க; ஷைத்தானின் கூட்டத்தினர் தாம் நிச்சயமாக நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்கள்!

ஷைத்தான் அவர்களை மிகைத்துவிட்டான், ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ்வைப்பற்றிய நினைவை அவர்களுக்கு மறக்கச் செய்துவிட்டான், இவர்கள் ஷைத்தானுடைய கூட்டத்தினர், அறிந்து கொள்வீராக! நிச்சயமாக ஷைத்தானுடைய கூட்டத்தினர்_அவர்கள் தான் நஷ்டமடைந்தோர்.

Satan has taken hold of them and has thus caused them to forget the remembrance of Allah. They are the party of Satan. Indeed, the party of Satan will be the losers.

Inna allatheena yuhaddoona Allaha warasoolahu olaika fee alathalleena

Those who oppose Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), they will be among the lowest (most humiliated).

Indeed, the ones who oppose Allah and His Messenger - those will be among the most humbled.

எவர்கள், அல்லாஹ்வையும் அவனுடைய தூதரையும் எதிர்க்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்கள் இழிவுக்குள்ளாவார்கள்.

நிச்சயமாக எவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையும் அவனுடைய தூதரையும் எதிர்க்கிறார்களோ, நிச்சயமாக அவர்களே மிகவும் தாழ்ந்தவர்கள்.

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் (அவர்களின் கட்டளைகளுக்கு மாறுசெய்வதன் மூலம்) விரோதிக்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர்_அவர்களே இழிவுகுள்ளானவர்களில் இருப்பர்.

Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, they are among the most debased.

Kataba Allahu laaghlibanna ana warusulee inna Allaha qawiyyun AAazeezun

Allâh has decreed: "Verily, it is I and My Messengers who shall be the victorious." Verily, Allâh is All-Powerful, All-Mighty.

Allah has written, "I will surely overcome, I and My messengers." Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

தானும், தன்னுடைய தூதர்களுமே நிச்சயமாக வெல்வார்களென்று அல்லாஹ் விதித்துவிட்டான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் பலவானாகவும் (அனைவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

“நானும் என்னுடைய தூதர்களும் நிச்சயமாக மிகைத்து விடுவோம்” என்று அல்லாஹ் விதித்துள்ளான்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க சக்தியுடையவன்; யாவரையும் மிகைத்தவன்.

“நிச்சயமாக நானும், என் தூதர்களும் மிகைத்து (வெற்றி பெற்று) விடுவோம்” என அல்லாஹ் எழுதிவிட்டான், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் பல மிக்கவன், (யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவன்.

Allah has decreed, “I and My messengers will surely prevail.” Indeed, Allah is All-Powerful, All-Mighty.

La tajidu qawman yuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri yuwaddoona man hadda Allaha warasoolahu walaw kanoo abaahum aw abnaahum aw ikhwanahum aw AAasheeratahum olaika kataba fee quloobihimu aleemana waayyadahum biroohin minhu wayudkhiluhum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu olaika hizbu Allahi ala inna hizba Allahi humu almuflihoona

You (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) will not find any people who believe in Allâh and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), even though they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred (people). For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with Rûh (proofs, light and true guidance) from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow, to dwell therein (forever). Allâh is pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the party of Allâh. Verily, it is the party of Allâh that will be the successful.

You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah. Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful.

(நபியே!) எந்த மக்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையும், மறுமை நாளையும் (மெய்யாகவே) நம்பிக்கை கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்களோ அவர்கள், எவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் மாறு செய்பவர்களாக இருக்கின்றார்களோ (அவர்களை நேசிக்க மாட்டார்கள்.) அவர்கள், தங்களுடைய பெற்றோர்களாக இருந்த போதிலும், அல்லது தங்களுடைய சந்ததிகளாக இருந்தபோதிலும், அல்லது தங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களாக இருந்தபோதிலும், அல்லது தங்களுடைய நெருங்கிய உறவினர்களாக இருந்தபோதிலும், அவர்களுடன் நேசம் கொண்டு உறவாடுவதை நீங்கள் காண மாட்டீர்கள். இவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களில் அல்லாஹ் நம்பிக்கையை பதிய வைத்துத் தன்னுடைய அருளைக் கொண்டும் இவர்களைப் பலப்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்கின்றான். தொடர்ந்து நீரருவிகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் சுவனபதிகளிலும் இவர்களைப் புகுத்தி விடுவான். அதில் என்றென்றும் இவர்கள் தங்கிவிடுவார்கள். இவர்களைப் பற்றி அல்லாஹ் திருப்தியடைவான். அவர்களும் அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றித் திருப்தியடைவார்கள். இவர்கள்தாம் அல்லாஹ்வின் கூட்டத்தினர். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் கூட்டத்தினர்தாம் வெற்றி அடைந்தவர்கள் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

அல்லாஹ்வையும் இறுதி நாளையும் நம்பும் சமூகத்தினர், அல்லாஹ்வையும் அவனது தூதரையும் பகைத்துக் கொண்டவர்களை நேசிப்பவர்களாக (நபியே!) நீர் காணமாட்டீர். அவர்கள் தங்கள் பெற்றோராயினும் தங்கள் புதல்வர்களாயினும் தங்கள் சகோதரர்களாயினும் தங்கள் குடும்பத்தினராயினும் சரியே; (ஏனெனில்) அத்தகையவர்களின் இதயங்களில், (அல்லாஹ்) ஈமானை எழுதி(ப் பதித்து) விட்டான்; மேலும் அவன் தன்னிடமிருந்து (அருள் என்னும்) ஆன்மாவைக் கொண்டு பலப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறான்; சுவர்க்கச் சோலைகளில் என்றென்றும் இருக்கும்படி அவர்களைப் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்வான்; அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறுகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டு இருக்கும். அல்லாஹ் அவர்களைப் பொருந்திக் கொண்டான்; அவர்களும் அவனைப் பொருந்திக் கொண்டார்கள். அவர்கள்தாம் அல்லாஹ்வின் கூட்டத்தினர்; அறிந்துகொள்க: நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் கூட்டத்தினர் தாம் வெற்றி பெறுவார்கள்.

அல்லாஹ்வையும் இறுதிநாளையும் விசுவாசங்கொண்ட சமூகத்தினரை, அல்லாஹ்வையும் அவனது தூதரையும் பகைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களே அவர்களை நேசிப்பவர்களாக (நபியே!) நீர் காணமாட்டீர், அவர்கள் தங்களின் பெற்றோர்களாயினும், அல்லது தங்களின் ஆண்மக்களாயினும், அல்லது தங்களின் சகோதரர்களாயினும் அல்லது தங்கள் குடும்பத்தவராயினும் சரியே! (காரணம்) அத்தகையோர்- அவர்களின் இதயங்களில் ஈமானை (விசுவாசத்தை அல்லாஹ்வாகிய) அவன் எழுதிவிட்டான், மேலும் தன்னிடமிருந்து (வெற்றி எனும்) ரூஹைக் கொண்டு அவர்களைப் பலப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறான், இன்னும் அவர்களைச் சுவனங்களில் நுழையச் செய்வான், அவற்றின் கீழ் ஆறுகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும், அவற்றில் அவர்கள் நிரந்தரமாக(த்தங்கி) இருப்பவர்கள், அல்லாஹ் அவர்களை பொருத்திக் கொண்டான், அவனை அவர்களும் பொருத்திக் கொண்டார்கள், அவர்கள் தான் அல்லாஹ்வின் கூட்டத்தினர், அறிந்து கொள்வீராக! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் கூட்டத்தினர்_அவர்கள் தாம் வெற்றியாளர்கள்.

You will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day taking as allies those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their parents, their children, their brothers, or their kindred. It is they in whose hearts Allah has instilled faith and strengthened them with a spirit from Him. He will admit them to gardens under which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Allah. They are the party of Allah. Indeed, it is the party of Allah that will be the successful.
