48 - al-Fath (The Conquest) ....

Inna fatahna laka fathan mubeenan

Verily, We have given you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) a manifest victory.

Indeed, We have given you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest

(நபியே! ஹுதைபிய்யாவின் சமாதான உடன்படிக்கையின் மூலம்) நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களுக்கு (மிகப்பெரிய) தெளிவானதொரு வெற்றியைத் தந்தோம்.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நாம் ஒரு தெளிவான வெற்றியாக உமக்கு வெற்றி அளித்துள்ளோம்

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நாம் ஒரு தெளிவான வெற்றியாக உமக்கு வெற்றியை அளித்தோம்.

Indeed, We have given you [O Prophet] a clear victory,

Liyaghfira laka Allahu ma taqaddama min thanbika wama taakhkhara wayutimma niAAmatahu AAalayka wayahdiyaka siratan mustaqeeman

That Allâh may forgive you your sins of the past and the future, and complete His Favour on you, and guide you on a Straight Path,

That Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path

(அதற்காக நீங்கள் உங்களது இறைவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்து வீராக! அதனால்,) உங்களது முன் பின்னுள்ள தவறுகள் அனைத்தையும் அல்லாஹ் மன்னித்துத் தனது அருட்கொடையையும் உங்கள் மீது முழுமைபடுத்தி வைத்து, உங்களை அவன் நேரான வழியிலும் நடத்துவான்.

உமக்காக உம்முடைய முந்திய தவறுகளையும், பிந்தியவற்றையும் அல்லாஹ் மன்னித்து, உமக்காக தனது அருட்கொடையையும் பூர்த்தி செய்து உம்மை நேரான வழியில் நடத்துவதற்காகவும்.

அல்லாஹ் உமக்கு, உமது தவறில் முந்தியதையும், பிந்தியதையும் மன்னித்து தனது அருட்கொடையையும் உம்மீது பூர்த்தியாக்கி வைத்து, உம்மை அவன் நேரான வழியில் நடத்துவதற்காகவும்_

so that Allah may forgive you your previous and future sins, complete His favor upon you, and guide you to a straight path,

Wayansuraka Allahu nasran AAazeezan

And that Allâh may help you with strong help.

And [that] Allah may aid you with a mighty victory.

(நபியே!) மேலும் (தொடர்ந்து) அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்குப் பலமான உதவி புரிந்தே வருவான்.

மேலும், அல்லாஹ் ஒரு வலிமை மிக்க உதவியாக உமக்கு உதவி செய்வதற்காகவும் (தெளிவான இவ்வெற்றியை அவன் அளித்தான்).

மேலும் (நபியே!) அல்லாஹ், உமக்கு வல்லமை மிக்க உதவியாக உதவி செய்வதற்காகவும் (தெளிவான இவ்வெற்றியை அவன் அளித்தான்).

and so that Allah may help you with a mighty victory.

Huwa allathee anzala alssakeenata fee quloobi almumineena liyazdadoo eemanan maAAa eemanihim walillahi junoodu alssamawati waalardi wakana Allahu AAaleeman hakeeman

He it is Who sent down As-Sakînah (calmness and tranquillity) into the hearts of the believers, that they may grow more in Faith along with their (present) Faith. And to Allâh belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allâh is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise.

It is He who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers that they would increase in faith along with their [present] faith. And to Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and ever is Allah Knowing and Wise.

நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களில் அவன்தான் சாந்தியையும், ஆறுதலையும் அளித்து, அவர்களுடைய நம்பிக்கை மென்மேலும் அதிகரிக்கும்படி செய்தான். வானங்கள், பூமி முதலிய வைகளிலுள்ள படைகள் அனைத்தும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்குரியனவே. (அவைகளைக் கொண்டு அவன் விரும்பியவர்களுக்கு உதவி புரிவான்.) அவன் (அனைத்தையும்) நன்கறிந்தவனும் ஞானமுடைய வனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

அவர்களுடைய ஈமானுடன் பின்னும் ஈமானை அதிகரித்துக் கொள்வதற்காக முஃமின்களின் இதயங்களில், அவன் தாம் அமைதியும் (ஆறுதலும்) அளித்தான்; அன்றியும் வானங்களிலும் பூமியிலுமுள்ள படைகள் (எல்லாம்) அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே சொந்தம்; மேலும், அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிந்தவன், ஞானம் மிக்கோன்.

அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், விசுவாசங்கொண்டவர்களுடைய இதயங்களில் அவர்களுடைய விசுவாசத்துடன் (பின்னும்) விசுவாசத்தை அவர்கள் அதிமாக்கிக் கொள்வதற்காக அமைதியை அவன் இறக்கிவைத்தான், மேலும் வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியிலுள்ள படைகள் (அனைத்தும்) அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியனவாகும், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் (யாவையும்) நன்கறிகிறவனாக, தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவனாக இருக்கிறான்.

It is He Who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers so that they may increase in faith along with their faith. To Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and earth. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Liyudkhila almumineena waalmuminati jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha wayukaffira AAanhum sayyiatihim wakana thalika AAinda Allahi fawzan AAatheeman

That He may admit the believing men and the believing women to Gardens under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise) to abide therein forever, and He may expiate from them their sins; and that is with Allâh a supreme success,

[And] that He may admit the believing men and the believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein eternally and remove from them their misdeeds - and ever is that, in the sight of Allah, a great attainment -

(அல்லாஹ்) நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட ஆண்களையும், பெண்களையும் சுவனபதிகளில் புகுத்துவான். அதில் நீரருவிகள் தொடர்ந்து ஓடிக்கொண்டேயிருக்கும். என்றென்றும் அவர்கள் அதில் தங்கிவிடுவார்கள். அவர்களின் பாவச்சுமையையும், அவர்களிலிருந்தும் நீக்கி விடுவான். இது அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் கிடைக்கும் மகத்தான ஒரு வெற்றியாக இருக்கின்றது..

முஃமினான ஆண்களையும், முஃமினான பெண்களையும் சுவர்க்கங்களில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்வதற்காக (இவ்வாறு அருளினான்); அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறுகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்; அவர்கள் அவற்றில் என்றென்றும் தங்கியிருப்பார்கள்; அவர்களின் பாவங்களையும் அவர்களை விட்டு நீக்கி விடுவான் - இதுவே அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் மகத்தான வெற்றியாகும்.

அவன், விசுவாசங்கொண்ட ஆண்களையும், விசுவாசங்கொண்ட பெண்களையும் சுவனபதிகளில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்வதற்காகவும் (இவ்வாறு செய்தான்) அவற்றின் கீழ் ஆறுகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும், நிரந்தரமாக அவற்றில் அவர்கள் (தங்கி) இருப்பவர்கள், அவர்களின் தீயவைகளையும், அவர்களை விட்டு நீக்கிவிடுவதற்காகவும் (இவ்வாறு அமைதியை இறக்கினான்). இதுவே அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் மகத்தான ஒரு வெற்றியாக இருந்தது.

So that He may admit the believing men and women to gardens under which rivers flow, abiding therein forever, and absolve them of their sins; that is a supreme triumph before Allah.

WayuAAaththiba almunafiqeena waalmunafiqati waalmushrikeena waalmushrikati alththanneena biAllahi thanna alssawi AAalayhim dairatu alssawi waghadiba Allahu AAalayhim walaAAanahum waaAAadda lahum jahannama wasaat maseeran

And that He may punish the Munâfiqûn (hypocrites) men and women, and also the Mushrikûn men and women, who think evil thoughts about Allâh, for them is a disgraceful torment. And the Anger of Allâh is upon them, and He has cursed them and prepared Hell for them – and worst indeed is that destination.

And [that] He may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the polytheist men and polytheist women - those who assume about Allah an assumption of evil nature. Upon them is a misfortune of evil nature; and Allah has become angry with them and has cursed them and prepared for them Hell, and evil it is as a destination.

அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றிக் கெட்ட எண்ணம் கொள்ளும் நயவஞ்சகமுள்ள ஆண்களையும் பெண்களையும், இணை வைத்து வணங்கும் ஆண்களையும் பெண்களையும் (அல்லாஹ்) வேதனை செய்தே தீருவான். வேதனை அவர்கள் (தலைக்கு) மேல் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டு இருக்கின்றது. அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் மீது கோபப்பட்டு, அவர்களைச் சபித்து, அவர்களுக்காக நரகத்தையும் தயார்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்கின்றான். அது செல்லுமிடங்களில் மகா கெட்டது.

அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றி கெட்ட எண்ணம் எண்ணும் முனாஃபிக்கான ஆண்களையும், முனாஃபிக்கான பெண்களையும், இணைவைத்து வணங்கும் ஆண்களையும், இணைவைத்து வணங்கும் பெண்களையும், (அல்லாஹ்) வேதனை செய்வான். (அவ்வேதணையின்) கேடு அவர்கள் மேல் சூழந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறது; இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் மீது கோபம் கொண்டான்; அவர்களைச் சபித்தும் விட்டான்; அவர்களுக்காக நரகத்தையும் சித்தம் செய்திருக்கின்றான் - (அதுதான்) செல்லுமிடங்களில் மிகவும் கெட்டது.

அன்றியும், அல்லாஹ்வைப்பற்றி கெட்ட எண்ணம் எண்ணுகின்றவர்களான (வேஷதாரிகளாகிய) முனாஃபிக்கான ஆண்களையும், முனாஃபிக்கான பெண்களையும், இணைவக்கின்ற ஆண்களையும், இணைவைக்கின்ற பெண்களையும் (அல்லாஹ்வாகிய) அவன் வேதனை செய்வான், வேதனையின் சுழற்சி அவர்களின் மீதிருக்கின்றது, அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் மீது கோபமும் கொண்டான், அவர்களைச் சபித்தும் விட்டான், அவர்களுக்காக நரகத்தை தயார்படுத்தியும் வைத்திருக்கின்றான், அது செல்லுமிடத்தால் மிகக் கெட்டதாகியும்விட்டது.

And so that He may punish hypocrite men and women and polytheist men and women, who harbor about Allah evil thoughts. An evil fate will befall them. Allah is angry with them, and has cursed them and prepared for them Hell. What a terrible destination!

Walillahi junoodu alssamawati waalardi wakana Allahu AAazeezan hakeeman

And to Allâh belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth. And Allâh is Ever All-Mighty, All-Wise.

And to Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

வானங்கள் பூமியிலுள்ள படைகள் அனைத்தும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்குச் சொந்தமானவையே. அல்லாஹ் (அனைவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனும் ஞானமுடையவனுமாக இருக்கின்றான்.

அன்றியும் வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலுமுள்ள படைகள் (எல்லாம்) அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு சொந்தம்; மேலும், அல்லாஹ் யாவரையும் மிகைத்தவன்; ஞானம் மிக்கோன்.

வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியின் படைகள் (அனைத்தும்) அல்லாஹ்விற்கே உரியன, இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் (யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனாக, தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

To Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and earth, and Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Inna arsalnaka shahidan wamubashshiran wanatheeran

Verily, We have sent you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) as a witness, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner.

Indeed, We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களை (நம்பிக்கையாளர்களின் ஈமானைப் பற்றி) சாட்சி கூறுவதற்காகவும், (அவர்களுக்கு) நற்செய்தி கூறுவதற்காகவும், (பாவிகளுக்கு) அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காகவும் அனுப்பி வைத்தோம்.

நிச்சயமாக நாம் உம்மை சாட்சி சொல்பவராகவும், நன்மாராயம் கூறுபவராகவும், அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பவராகவும், அனுப்பியிருக்கிறோம்.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக, நாம் உம்மை (உம்சமூகத்தார்க்கு) சாட்சி கூறுபவராகவும், (அவர்களில் விசுவாசிகளுக்கு) நன்மாராயம் கூறுபவராகவும், (விசுவாசம் கொள்ளாதவர்களுக்கு) அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவராகவும் அனுப்பி வைத்தோம்.

Indeed, We have sent you [O prophet] as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner,

Lituminoo biAllahi warasoolihi watuAAazziroohu watuwaqqiroohu watusabbihoohu bukratan waaseelan

In order that you (O mankind) may believe in Allâh and His Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam], and that you assist and honour him (), and (that you) glorify (Allâh's) praises morning and afternoon.

That you [people] may believe in Allah and His Messenger and honor him and respect the Prophet and exalt Allah morning and afternoon.

ஆகவே, (நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையும் அவனுடைய தூதரையும் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு, அவருக்கு உதவி புரிந்து, அவரை கண்ணியப்படுத்தி வைத்து, காலையிலும் மாலையிலும் அவனை துதி செய்து வாருங்கள்.

(ஆகவே, முஃமின்களே!) நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும் அவனுடைய தூதர் மீதும் ஈமான் கொண்டு, அவனுக்கு (சன்மார்க்கத்தில்) உதவி, அவனைச் சங்கை செய்து, காலையிலும் மாலையிலும் அவனைத் துதி செய்து வருவதற்காக(வே தூதரை அனுப்பினோம்).

காரணம்_(விசுவாசிகளே!) நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் விசுவாசித்து, (தூதராகிய) அவருக்கு (சன்மார்க்கத்தில்) உதவி புரிந்தும், அவரை கண்ணியப்படுத்தியும், (அல்லாஹ்வாகிய) அவனை, நீங்கள் காலையிலும், மாலையிலும் துதி செய்வதற்காகவே (நபியே! நாம் உம்மை அனுப்பி வைத்தோம்).

so that you may believe in Allah and His Messenger, support and revere him, and glorify Him morning and evening.

Inna allatheena yubayiAAoonaka innama yubayiAAoona Allaha yadu Allahi fawqa aydeehim faman nakatha fainnama yankuthu AAala nafsihi waman awfa bima AAahada AAalayhu Allaha fasayuteehi ajran AAatheeman

Verily, those who give Bai'ah (pledge) to you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), they are giving Bai'ah (pledge) to Allâh. The Hand of Allâh is over their hands. Then whosoever breaks his pledge, breaks it only to his own harm; and whosoever fulfils what he has covenanted with Allâh, He will bestow on him a great reward.

Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, [O Muhammad] - they are actually pledging allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So he who breaks his word only breaks it to the detriment of himself. And he who fulfills that which he has promised Allah - He will give him a great reward.

(நபியே!) எவர்கள் (தம்முடைய உடல், பொருள், ஆவியை தியாகம் செய்து உங்களுக்கு உதவி புரிவதாக ஹுதைபிய்யாவில்) உங்களுடைய கையைப் பிடித்து வாக்குறுதி செய்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்விடமே வாக்குறுதி செய்கின்றனர். அவர்கள் கை மீது அல்லாஹ்வுடைய கைதான் இருக்கின்றது. ஆகவே, (அவ்வாக்குறுதியை) எவன் முறித்து விடுகின்றானோ, அவன் தனக்குக் கேடாகவே அதனை முறிக்கின்றான். எவன் அல்லாஹ்விடம் செய்த அந்த வாக்குறுதியை முழுமைப்படுத்தி வைக்கின்றானோ, அவனுக்கு அல்லாஹ் மகத்தான கூலியை அதி சீக்கிரத்தில் (நிச்சயமாக) கொடுப்பான்.

நிச்சயமாக எவர்கள் உம்மிடம் பைஅத்து(வாக்குறுதி) செய்தார்களோ, அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்விடமே பைஅத்(வாக்குறுதி) செய்கின்றனர் - அல்லாஹ்வின் கை அவர்களுடைய கைகளின் மேல் இருக்கிறது; ஆகவே, எவன் (அவ்வாக்குறுதியை) முறித்து விடுகிறானோ, நிச்சயமாக அவன் தனக்குக் கேடாகவே (அதை) முறிக்கிறான். எவர் அல்லாஹ்விடம் செய்த அவ்வாக்குறுதியை நிறைவேற்றுகிறாரோ அவருக்கு அல்லாஹ் மகத்தான நற்கூலியை விரைவில் வழங்குவான்.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக (ஹூதைபிய்யா உடன்படிக்கையின் போது குரைஷியரின் தாக்குதலை எதிர்த்து போர் செய்வதற்காக) உம்மிடம் (பைஅத்) வாக்குறுதி செய்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர்_ அவர்கள் (பைஅத்) வாக்குறுதி செய்வதெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்விடம்தான், அல்லாஹ்வின் கரம் அவர்களின் கரங்களுக்கு மேல் இருக்கின்றது, ஆகவே, எவர் (அவ்வாக்குறுதியை) முறித்துவிடுகின்றரோ, அவர் தனக்குக் கேடாகவே (அதனை) முறித்து விடுகின்றார், இன்னும், எவர் அல்லாஹ்விடம் செய்த அவ்வாக்குறுதியைப் பூர்த்தியாக்கி வைக்கின்றாரோ அப்பொழுது அவருக்கு அல்லாஹ் மகத்தான (நற்) கூலியை (நிச்சயமாகக்) கொடுப்பான்.

Those who pledge allegiance to you [O Prophet] are indeed pledging allegiance to Allah; Allah’s Hand is over their hands. Whoever breaks his pledge, he only breaks it to his own detriment, but whoever fulfills his covenant with Allah, He will give him a great reward.

Sayaqoolu laka almukhallafoona mina alaAArabi shaghalatna amwaluna waahloona faistaghfir lana yaqooloona bialsinatihim ma laysa fee quloobihim qul faman yamliku lakum mina Allahi shayan in arada bikum darran aw arada bikum nafAAan bal kana Allahu bima taAAmaloona khabeeran

Those of the bedouins who lagged behind will say to you: "Our possessions and our families occupied us, so ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say: "Who then has any power at all (to intervene) on your behalf with Allâh, if He intends you hurt or intends you benefit? Nay, but Allâh is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do.

Those who remained behind of the bedouins will say to you, "Our properties and our families occupied us, so ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not within their hearts. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He intended for you harm or intended for you benefit? Rather, ever is Allah, with what you do, Acquainted.

(நபியே! போர் செய்ய உங்களுடன் வராது) பின் தங்கிவிட்ட நாட்டுப்புறத்து அரபிகள் உங்களிடம் வந்து "நாங்கள் உங்களுடன் வர எங்களுடைய பொருள்களும் எங்களுடைய குடும்பங்களும் எங்களுக்கு அவகாசமளிக்கவில்லை" என்று (பொய்யாகக்) கூறி, "(இறைவனிடம்) நீங்கள் எங்களுக்கு மன்னிப்புக் கோருவீராக!" என்று கூறுவார்கள். அவர்கள் தங்கள் உள்ளங்களில் இல்லாதவை களைத் தங்கள் நாவுகளால் கூறுகின்றனர். ஆகவே, (நபியே!) நீங்கள் (அவர்களை நோக்கிக்) கூறுங்கள்: "அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு யாதொரு தீமை செய்ய நாடினாலும் அல்லது அவன் உங்களுக்கு யாதொரு நன்மை செய்ய நாடினாலும் அதில் எதையும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு விரோதமாக உங்களுக்குத் தடுத்து விடக்கூடியவன் யார்? நீங்கள் செய்பவைகளை அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிந்துகொண்டு இருக்கின்றான். (பின்னும் நீங்கள் அவர்களை நோக்கி,)

(நபியே!) போருக்கு உம்முடன் சேர்ந்து வராமல்) பின்தங்கி விட்ட நாட்டுப் புறத்து அரபிகள்: “எங்களுடைய சொத்துகளும், எங்கள் குடும்பங்களும் (உங்களுடன் வராது) எங்களை அலுவல்கள் உள்ளவர்களாக்கி விட்டன; எனவே, நீங்கள் எங்களுக்காக மன்னிப்புக் கோருவீர்களாக!” எனக் கூறுவர். அவர்கள் தங்கள் இதயங்களில் இல்லாததைத் தம் நாவுகளினால் கூறுகிறார்கள்; “அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு கெடுதியை நாடினாலும் அல்லது அவன் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு நன்மையை நாடினாலும், அதில் எதையும் அவனுக்கெதிராக உங்களுக்கு(த் தடுக்கக் கூடிய) அதிகாரம் பெற்றவர் யார்! அப்படியல்ல! அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்வதை நன்குணர்ந்தவனாக இருக்கிறான்” எனக் கூறும்.

(அரபிகளிலுள்ள) நாட்டுப்புறத்து வாசிகளில் (நபியே! உம்முடன் போர் செய்ய வராது) பின் தங்கிவிட்டவர்கள் உம்மிடம் (வந்து “நாங்கள் உங்களுடன் போருக்குவராமல்) எங்களுடைய செல்வங்களும், எங்களுடைய குடும்பமும் எங்களைப் பராக்காக்கிவிட்டன, எனவே (அல்லாஹ்விடம்) நீர் எங்களுக்காக பாவமன்னிப்புக் கோருவீராக!” என்று கூறுவார்கள், தங்கள் இதயங்களில் இல்லாதவைகளைத் தங்கள் நாவுகளினால் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர், (ஆகவே, நபியே! அவர்களிடம்,) நீர் கூறுவீராக: “அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு இடரை நாடினால் அல்லது அவன் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு பலனை நாடினால் (அதில்) எதையும் அல்லாஹ்விலிருந்து உங்களுக்கு(த் தடுத்துவிடக்கூடிய) அதிகாரம் பெற்றிருப்பவர் யார்? (ஒருவரும்) இல்லை! நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை, அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

Those of the Bedouins who lagged behind will say to you, “We were preoccupied with our wealth and our families, so ask for forgiveness for us.” They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, “Then who can prevent Allah if He intends to harm or benefit you? Indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

Bal thanantum an lan yanqaliba alrrasoolu waalmuminoona ila ahleehim abadan wazuyyina thalika fee quloobikum wathanantum thanna alssawi wakuntum qawman booran

"Nay, but you thought that the Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] and the believers would never return to their families, and that was made fair-seeming in your hearts, and you did think an evil thought and you became a useless people going for destruction."

But you thought that the Messenger and the believers would never return to their families, ever, and that was made pleasing in your hearts. And you assumed an assumption of evil and became a people ruined."

"(அல்லாஹ்வுடைய) தூதரும், அவரை நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களும் (போரிலிருந்து) தங்கள் குடும்பத்தார்களிடம் ஒரு காலத்திலும் திரும்பி வரவே மாட்டார்கள் என்று நீங்கள் நிச்சயமாக எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள். (ஆதலால்தான் போருக்கு நீங்கள் வரவில்லை.) இதுவே உங்கள் மனதில் அழகாக்கப்பட்டது. ஆதலால், நீங்கள் கெட்ட எண்ணத்தையே எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந் தீர்கள். அதனால் நீங்கள்தான் அழிந்துபோனீர்கள்" (என்று கூறுங்கள்.)

“(நீங்கள் கூறுவது போல்) அல்ல; (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதரும், முஃமின்களும், தங்கள் குடும்பத்தாரிடம் ஒரு போதும் திரும்ப மாட்டார்கள் என்று நீங்கள் நிச்சயமாக எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; இதுவே உங்கள் இதயங்களில் அழகாக்கப்பட்டது; ஆதலால் நீங்கள் ஒரு கெட்ட எண்ணத்தை எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; அதனால் நீங்கள் நாசமடையும் சமூகத்தினர்களாகி விட்டீர்கள்.”

(உங்கள் கூற்றைபோல்) அல்ல! (அல்லாஹ்வுடைய) தூதரும், (அவரை) விசுவாசங்கொண்டவர்களும் (யுத்தத்திலிருந்து) தங்கள் குடும்பத்தினரிடம் ஒரு போதும் திரும்பி வரவே மாட்டார்களென்று நீங்கள் எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள், (ஆதலால்தான் யுத்தத்திற்கு நீங்கள் வரவில்லை) அ(வ்வாறு எண்ணிய)து உங்களுடைய இதயங்களில் அலங்கரமாக்கபட்டுமிருந்தது, நீங்கள் கெட்ட எண்ணத்தையே எண்ணிக் கொண்டுமிருந்தீர்கள், (அதனால்,) நீங்கள் தாம் அழிந்து விடும் சமூகத்தவராகவும் ஆகிவிட்டீர்கள் (என்று நபியே! நீர் கூறுவீராக!).

But you thought that the Messenger and the believers would never return to their families ever, and that was made appealing in your hearts. You harbored evil thoughts, for you are a doomed people.”

Waman lam yumin biAllahi warasoolihi fainna aAAtadna lilkafireena saAAeeran

And whosoever does not believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), then verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers a blazing Fire.

And whoever has not believed in Allah and His Messenger - then indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers a Blaze.

எவன் அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் உண்மையாகவே நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளவில்லையோ (அவன் நிராகரிப்பவன்தான். ஆகவே,) அத்தகைய நிராகரிப்பவனுக்கு நரகத்தையே நிச்சயமாக நாம் தயார்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்கின்றோம்.

அன்றியும் எவர் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும் அவன் தூதர் மீதும் ஈமான் கொள்ளவில்லையோ - நிச்சயமாக அக்காஃபிர்களுக்கு நாம் கொழுந்து விட்டெரியும் (நரக) நெருப்பைச் சித்தம் செய்திருக்கிறோம்.

அல்லாஹ்வை மற்றும் அவன் தூதரை விசுவாசங் கொள்ளவில்லையே அவர், (நிராகரிப்பவர்தான், ஆகவே,) அத்தகைய நிராகரிப்போருக்கு நரகத்தையே நிச்சயமாக நாம் தயார்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்கின்றோம்.

Whoever does not believe in Allah and His Messenger, We have certainly prepared for the disbelievers a Blazing Fire.

Walillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibu man yashao wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman

And to Allâh belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He forgives whom He wills, and punishes whom He wills. And Allâh is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

வானங்கள், பூமியின் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்குரியதே! அவன் நாடியவர்களை மன்னித்து விடுகின்றான். அவன் நாடியவர்களை வேதனை செய்கின்றான். அல்லாஹ் மிக மன்னிப்பவனும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

மேலும் வானங்களிடையவும், பூமியினுடையவும் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே! தான் விரும்பியவர்களை அவன் மன்னிக்கிறான்; தான் விரும்பியவர்களை அவன் வேதனை செய்கிறான் - அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவன், மிக்க கிருபையுடையவன்.

மேலும், வானங்கள், மற்றும் பூமியின் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது! அவன் நாடியவர்களை மன்னித்து விடுகிறான், அவன் நாடியவர்களை வேதனையும் செய்கிறான், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவனாக, மிகக் கிருபையுடையவனாக இருக்கிறான்.

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills, and Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Sayaqoolu almukhallafoona itha intalaqtum ila maghanima litakhuthooha tharoona nattabiAAkum yureedoona an yubaddiloo kalama Allahi qul lan tattabiAAoona kathalikum qala Allahu min qablu fasayaqooloona bal tahsudoonana bal kanoo la yafqahoona illa qaleelan

Those who lagged behind will say, when you set forth to take the spoils, "Allow us to follow you." They want to change Allâh's Words. Say: "You shall not follow us; thus Allâh has said beforehand." Then they will say: "Nay, you envy us." Nay, but they understand not except a little.

Those who remained behind will say when you set out toward the war booty to take it, "Let us follow you." They wish to change the words of Allah. Say, "Never will you follow us. Thus did Allah say before." So they will say, "Rather, you envy us." But [in fact] they were not understanding except a little.

(நபியே! முன்னர் போருக்கு உங்களுடன் வராது) பின் தங்கிவிட்டவர்கள், போரில் கிடைத்த பொருள்களை எடுத்துக் கொள்ள நீங்கள் செல்லும் சமயத்தில், (உங்களை நோக்கி) "நாங்களும் உங்களைப் பின்பற்றிவர எங்களை (அனுமதித்து) விடுங்கள்" என்று கூறுவார்கள். இவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய கட்டளையை மாற்றி விடவே கருதுகின்றார்கள். ஆகவே, நீங்கள் அவர்களை நோக்கி "நீங்கள் எங்களைப் பின்பற்றிவர வேண்டாம். இதற்கு முன்னரே அல்லாஹ் இவ்வாறு கூறிவிட்டான்" என்றும் கூறுங்கள் அதற்கவர்கள், ("அல்லாஹ் ஒன்றும் கூறவில்லை;") நீங்கள்தான் நம்மீது பொறாமை கொண்டு (இவ்வாறு கூறுகின்றீர்கள்) என்று கூறுவார்கள். அன்றி, அவர்களில் சிலரைத் தவிர (மற்றெவரும் இதன் கருத்தை) உணர்ந்துகொள்ள மாட்டார்கள்.

போர்க்களப் பொருட்களை எடுத்துக் கொள்வதற்காக நீங்கள் சென்றீர்களாயின், (போருக்கு உம்முடன் சேர்ந்து வராமல்) பின் தங்கி விட்டவர்கள், “நாங்களும் உங்களைப் பின்பற்றி வர அனுமதி கொடுங்கள்” என்று கூறுவார்கள்; அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளையை மாற்றிவிட நாடுகிறார்கள்; “நீங்கள் எங்களைப் பின்பற்றி வரவே வேண்டாம்; இவ்வாறே அல்லாஹ் முன்னர் கூறியிருக்கின்றான்” என்று (நபியே! அவர்களிடம்) நீர் சொல்லி விடுவீராக; ஆனால், அவர்கள்: “அல்ல! நீங்கள் எங்கள் மீது பொறாமை கொண்டுள்ளீர்கள்” எனக் கூறுவார்கள்; அப்படியல்ல! அவர்கள் மிக சொற்பமாகவே அன்றி (பெரும்பாலானதை) அறிந்துணராமலே இருக்கிறார்கள்.

(நபியே!) பின்தங்கிவிட்டவர்கள், போரில் கிடைத்த வெற்றிப் பொருட்களின் பால்_அவற்றை நீங்கள் எடுத்துக் கொள்வதற்காக நீங்கள் செல்லும்போது, “எங்களை விடுங்கள், நாங்களும் உங்களைப் பின்பற்றி வருகிறோம்” என்று கூறுவார்கள், இவர்கள், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வாக்குறுதியை மாற்றி விடவே நாடுகின்றார்கள், (ஆகவே, அவர்களிடம்,) “நீங்கள் எங்களைப் பின்பற்றி வர வேண்டாம், (இதற்கு) முன்னர் இவ்வாறே அல்லாஹ் கூறிவிட்டான்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! (அதற்கு) அவர்கள், “இல்லை, நீங்கள் தான் நம்மீது பொறாமை கொண்டுள்ளீர்கள்” என்று கூறுவார்கள், அன்று! அவர்கள் சொற்பமாகவே அன்றி விளங்கிக் கொள்ளாதவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்.

Those who lagged behind will say when you set out to collect the spoils of war, “Let us follow you.” They wish to change the word of Allah. Say, “You will never follow us; this is what Allah has already decreed.” They will then say, “Rather, you are jealous of us.” Rather, they do not understand but a little.

Qul lilmukhallafeena mina alaAArabi satudAAawna ila qawmin olee basin shadeedin tuqatiloonahum aw yuslimoona fain tuteeAAoo yutikumu Allahu ajran hasanan wain tatawallaw kama tawallaytum min qablu yuAAaththibkum AAathaban aleeman

Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) to the bedouins who lagged behind: "You shall be called to fight against a people given to great warfare, then you shall fight them, or they shall surrender. Then if you obey, Allâh will give you a fair reward; but if you turn away as you did turn away before, He will punish you with a painful torment."

Say to those who remained behind of the bedouins, "You will be called to [face] a people of great military might; you may fight them, or they will submit. So if you obey, Allah will give you a good reward; but if you turn away as you turned away before, He will punish you with a painful punishment."

(நபியே!) பின்தங்கிய நாட்டுப்புறத்து அரபிகளை நோக்கி நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "மிக பலசாலிகளான மக்களுடன் (போர்புரிய) அதிசீக்கிரத்தில் நீங்கள் அழைக்கப்படுவீர்கள். அவர்கள் முற்றிலும் கட்டுப்படும் வரையில், நீங்கள் அவர்களுடன் போர்புரிய வேண்டியதிருக்கும். (இதில்) நீங்கள் எனக்கு கட்டுப்பட்டு நடப்பீர்களாயின், அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு அழகான கூலியைக் கொடுப்பான். இதற்கு முன்னர் நீங்கள் (போர் செய்யாது) திரும்பி விட்டபடி (அச்சமயம் போர் புரியாது) நீங்கள் திரும்பி விடுவீர்களாயின், அவன் உங்களை மிக கடினமாகத் துன்புறுத்தி வேதனை செய்வான்."

பின் தங்கிவிட்ட நாட்டுப்புறத்து அரபிகளிடம்: “நீங்கள் சீக்கிரத்தில் மிக்க பலசாலிகளான ஒரு சமூகத்தாரிடம் (அவர்களை எதிர்த்துப் போரிட) அழைக்கப்படுவீர்கள், அவர்களுடன் நீங்கள் போரிட வேண்டும்; அல்லது அவர்கள் முற்றிலும் பணிய வேண்டும், அப்போது நீங்கள் வழிப்பட்டு நடப்பீர்களானால், அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு அழகிய நற்கூலியைக் கொடுப்பான்; ஆனால் இதற்கு முன் நீங்கள் (போரிடாமல்) பின்னடைந்தது போல் (இப்பொழுதும்) நீங்கள் பின்வாங்குவீர்களாயின், அவன் உங்களை நோவினை தரும் வேதனையாக வேதனை செய்வான்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.

(அரபிகளிலுள்ள) நாட்டுப்புறத்து வாசிகளில் பின் தங்கிவிட்டவர்களிடம் “யுத்தம் புரிவதில் மிக்க பலசாலிகளான ஒரு சமூகத்தார் பால் (யுத்தம் புரிய) நீங்கள் அடுத்து அழைக்கப்படுவீர்கள், அவர்களுடன் நீங்கள் போர் செய்வீர்கள், அல்லது அவர்கள் (யுத்தம் செய்யாது) இஸ்லாத்திற்கு வந்து விடுவார்கள், ஆகவே, (இதில்) நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டு நடப்பீர்களாயின் அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு அழகான கூலியை வழங்குவான், இதற்கு முன்னர் நீங்கள் (யுத்தம் செய்யாது) புறக்கணித்தது போன்று புறக்கணித்தும் விடுவீர்களாயின், அவன் உங்களைத் துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையாக வேதனை செய்வான்” என்று (நபியே! நீர்) கூறுவீராக!

Say to the Bedouins who lagged behind, “You will be called against a people of great might, whom you will fight unless they submit. Then if you obey, Allah will give you a goodly reward, but if you turn away as you turned away before, He will afflict you with a painful punishment.

Laysa AAala alaAAma harajun wala AAala alaAAraji harajun wala AAala almareedi harajun waman yutiAAi Allaha warasoolahu yudkhilhu jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu waman yatawalla yuAAaththibhu AAathaban aleeman

No blame or sin is there upon the blind, nor is there blame or sin upon the lame, nor is there blame or sin upon the sick (that they go not for fighting). And whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), He will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow (Paradise); and whosoever turns back, He will punish him with a painful torment.

There is not upon the blind any guilt or upon the lame any guilt or upon the ill any guilt [for remaining behind]. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger - He will admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow; but whoever turns away - He will punish him with a painful punishment.

(போருக்கு வராததைப் பற்றிக்) குருடன் மீது யாதொரு குற்றமுமில்லை; நொண்டி மீதும் யாதொரு குற்றமுமில்லை; நோயாளி மீதும் யாதொரு குற்றமுமில்லை. எவன் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் மெய்யாகவே வழிப்பட்டு, (போருக்கு உங்களுடன்) வருகின்றாரோ, அவரை (அல்லாஹ்) சுவனபதிகளில் புகுத்துவான். அதில் நீரருவிகள் தொடர்ந்து ஓடிக்கொண்டே இருக்கும். எவர் (உங்களுக்கு வழிப்படாது போருக்கு உங்களுடன் வராது) புறக்கணிக்கின்றாரோ, அவரை மிக கடினமாகவே துன்புறுத்தி வேதனை செய்வான்.

(ஆயினும் போருக்குச் செல்லாதது பற்றி) அந்தகர் மீதும் குற்றம் இல்லை; முடவர் மீதும் குற்றம் இல்லை; நோயாளி மீதும் குற்றம் இல்லை - அன்றியும் எவர் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவருடைய தூதருக்கும் வழிப்படுகிறாரோ, அவரை (அல்லாஹ்) சுவர்க்கங்களில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்வான்; அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறுகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்; ஆனால் எவன் பின் வாங்குகிறானோ, அவனை (அல்லாஹ்) நோவினை தரும் வேதனையாக வேதனை செய்வான்.  

(போர் செய்யாது தங்களிடங்களில் தங்கிவிடுவது) குருடர் மீது குற்றமில்லை, முடவரின் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை, நோயாளியின் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை, எவர் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடக்கிறாரோ அவரை (அல்லாஹ்வாகிய) அவன் சுவனங்களில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்வான், அவற்றின் கீழ் ஆறுகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும், இன்னும், எவர் புறக்கணிக்கின்றரோ அவரை, (அல்லாஹ்வாகிய) அவன் துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையாக வேதனை செய்வான்.

There is no blame on the blind, nor on the lame, nor on the sick [for remaining behind]. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, He will admit him into gardens under which rivers flow. But whoever turns away, He will afflict him with a painful punishment.

Laqad radiya Allahu AAani almumineena ith yubayiAAoonaka tahta alshshajarati faAAalima ma fee quloobihim faanzala alsakeenata AAalayhim waathabahum fathan qareeban

Indeed, Allâh was pleased with the believers when they gave the Bai'ah (pledge) to you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) under the tree, He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down As-Sakînah (calmness and tranquillity) upon them, and He rewarded them with a near victory.

Certainly was Allah pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you, [O Muhammad], under the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquillity upon them and rewarded them with an imminent conquest

அந்த மரத்தினடியில் உங்களிடம் கைகொடுத்து வாக்குறுதி செய்த நம்பிக்கையாளர்களைப் பற்றி நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் திருப்தியடைந்தான். அவர்களின் உள்ளங்களிலிருந்த (உண்மையான தியாகத்)தை நன்கறிந்து, சாந்தியையும், ஆறுதலையும் அவர்கள் மீது சொரிந்தான். உடனடியான ஒரு வெற்றியையும் (கைபர் என்னும் இடத்தில்) அவர்களுக்கு வெகுமதியாகக் கொடுத்தான்.

முஃமின்கள் அந்த மரத்தடியில் உம்மிடம் வாக்குறுதி செய்த போது மெய்யாகவே அல்லாஹ் அவர்களைப் பொருந்தி (ஏற்றுக்) கொண்டான்; அவர்களுடைய இதயங்களில் இருப்பதை அவன் அறிந்து, அவர்கள் மீது (சாந்தியையும்) அமைதியை(யும்) இறக்கியருளி, அவர்களுக்கு அண்மையில் வெற்றியையும் அளித்தான்.

(நபியே!) திட்டமாக அல்லாஹ் விசுவாசிகளை_அவர்கள் மரத்தடியில் அவர்களின் வாக்குறுதி செய்தபோது பொருந்திக்கொண்டான், பின்னர், அவர்களின் இதயங்களிலிருந்ததை நன்கறிந்து, அவர்கள் மீது அமைதியை இறக்கிவைத்தான், அன்றியும், சமீபமான வெற்றியையும் அவர்களுக்கு (அருட்கொடையாக)க் கொடுத்தான்.

Indeed, Allah was pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you [O Prophet] under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquility upon them and rewarded them with an imminent victory,

Wamaghanima katheeratan yakhuthoonaha wakana Allahu AAazeezan hakeeman

And abundant spoils that they will capture. And Allâh is Ever All-Mighty, All-Wise.

And much war booty which they will take. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

(அந்த போரில்) ஏராளமான பொருள்களையும் அவர்கள் கைப்பற்றும்படி செய்தான். அல்லாஹ் (அனைவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனும் ஞானமுடையவனுமாக இருக்கின்றான்.

இன்னும் ஏராளமான போர்ப்பொருள்களையும் அவர்கள் கைப்பற்றும்படிச் செய்தான்; அல்லாஹ் யாவரையும் மிகைப்பனாகவும், ஞானம் மிக்கோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

இன்னும், (எதிரிகளிடமிருந்து வெற்றியின் மூலம் கிடைக்கும்) ஏராளமான வெற்றிப் பொருட்களை (அவர்களுக்கு அவன் அளித்தான்), அவற்றை அவர்கள் எடுத்துக் கொள்வார்கள், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் (யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனாக, தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

and abundant spoils of war they will gain. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

WaAAadakumu Allahu maghanima katheeratan takhuthoonaha faAAajjala lakum hathihi wakaffa aydiya alnnasi AAankum walitakoona ayatan lilmumineena wayahdiyakum siratan mustaqeeman

Allâh has promised you abundant spoils that you will capture, and He has hastened for you this, and He has restrained the hands of men from you, that it may be a sign for the believers, and that He may guide you to a Straight Path.

Allah has promised you much booty that you will take [in the future] and has hastened for you this [victory] and withheld the hands of people from you - that it may be a sign for the believers and [that] He may guide you to a straight path.

ஏராளமான பொருள்களை (போரில்) நீங்கள் கைப்பற்றுவீர்கள் என்று அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு வாக்களித் திருந்தான். இதனை உங்களுக்கு அதிசீக்கிரத்திலும் கொடுத்து விட்டான். (உங்களுக்கு எதிரான) மனிதர்களின் கைகளையும் உங்களை விட்டுத் தடுத்துவிட்டான். இது நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு ஓர் அத்தாட்சியாகவும் ஏற்பட்டது. அவனே உங்களை நேரான பாதையில் நடத்துவான்.

ஏராளமான போர்ப் பொருள்களை அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு வாக்களிக்கிறான்; அவற்றை நீங்கள் கைப்பற்றுவீர்கள்; இதை உங்களுக்கு, துரிதமாக அளித்து, கொடுத்து மனிதர்களின் கைகளையும் உங்களை விட்டும் தடுத்துக் கொண்டான். (இதை) முஃமின்களுக்கு ஓர் அத்தாட்சியாக இருப்பதற்காகவும், உங்களை நேர்வழியில் செலுத்துவதற்காகவும் (இவ்வாறு அருள் புரிந்தான்).

“யுத்தத்தில் (எதிரிகளிடமிருந்து வெற்றியின் மூலம் கிடைக்கும்) ஏராளமான வெற்றிப் பொருட்களை அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு வாக்களித்திருந்தான், நீங்கள் அதைக் கைப்பற்றுவீர்கள், ஆகவே, இதனை உங்களுக்குத் துரிதமாக்கிவிட்டான், மேலும், (உங்களுக்கு விரோதிகளான) மனிதர்களின் கைகளை உங்களை விட்டும் தடுத்தும் விட்டான், இது விசுவாசிகளுக்கு ஓர் அத்தாட்சியாக ஆவதற்காகவும், உங்களை நேரான பாதையில் செலுத்துவதற்காகவும் (இவ்வாறு அருள் புரிந்தான்.)

Allah has promised you abundant spoils of war that you will gain, and He has hastened for you this [victory], and He has restrained people’s hands from you, so that it may be a sign for the believers, and so that He may guide you to a straight path.

Waokhra lam taqdiroo AAalayha qad ahata Allahu biha wakana Allahu AAala kulli shayin qadeeran

And other (victories and much booty He promises you) which are not yet within your power; indeed Allâh compasses them. And Allâh is Ever Able to do all things.

And [He promises] other [victories] that you were [so far] unable to [realize] which Allah has already encompassed. And ever is Allah, over all things, competent.

(பாரசீகம், ரூம் முதலிய தேசங்களில் உங்களுக்கு) மற்றொரு வெற்றி (இருக்கின்றது.) அதற்கு நீங்கள் இன்னும் தகுதியுடையவர் களாகவில்லை; எனினும், அல்லாஹ் அதனை சூழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக் கின்றான். அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தின் மீதும் ஆற்றலுடையவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

மற்றொரு - (வெற்றியும்) இருக்கிறது; அவற்றுக்கு நீங்கள் (இன்னும்) சக்தி பெறவில்லை; ஆயினும் அல்லாஹ் அவற்றை திட்டமாக சூழ்ந்தறிந்திருக்கின்றான். அல்லாஹ் யாவற்றின் மீதும் பேராற்றலுள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறான்.

(பாரசீகம், ரோமாபுரி முதலிய நாடுகளில் வெற்றியாக) மற்றொன்றும் (உங்களுக்கு இருக்கிறது) அதற்கு நீங்கள் சக்தி பெறவில்லை, திட்டமாக, அல்லாஹ் அதனைச் சூழ்ந்து (அறிந்து) கொண்டிருக்கின்றான், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் மீதும் மிக்க ஆற்றலுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

And there are other [spoils] that you have not yet been able to gain, but Allah has full control over them, for Allah is Most Capable of all things.

Walaw qatalakumu allatheena kafaroo lawallawoo aladbara thumma la yajidoona waliyyan wala naseeran

And if those who disbelieve fight against you, they certainly will turn their backs; then they would have found neither a Walî (protector, guardian) nor a helper.

And if those [Makkans] who disbelieve had fought you, they would have turned their backs [in flight]. Then they would not find a protector or a helper.

நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் (இச்சமயம்) உங்களுடன் போர் புரிவார்களாயின், அவர்களே புறங்காட்டி ஓடுவார்கள். பின்னர், தங்களுக்கு யாதொரு பாதுகாவலனையும் உதவி செய்பவனையும் காணார்கள்.

நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் உங்களுடன் போர் செய்திருப்பார்களாயின், அவர்கள் புறங்காட்டிப் பின்வாங்கியிருப்பார்கள்; அதன் பின் அவர்கள் தங்களுக்குப் பாது காவலரையோ, உதவி செய்வோரையோ காண மாட்டார்கள்.

மேலும், நிராகரிப்போர் உங்களுடன் போரிடுவார்களாயின், அவர்கள் புறங்காட்டிப் பின்வாங்கியிருப்பார்கள், பின்னர், அவர்கள், தங்களுக்குப் பாதுகாவலரையோ, உதவி செய்பவரையோ காணமாட்டார்கள்.

If the disbelievers were to fight you, they would surely turn their backs, then they would not have any protector or helper.

Sunnata Allahi allatee qad khalat min qablu walan tajida lisunnati Allahi tabdeelan

That has been the way of Allâh already with those who passed away before. And you will not find any change in the way of Allâh.

[This is] the established way of Allah which has occurred before. And never will you find in the way of Allah any change.

(நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் விஷயத்தில் அனுசரிக்கும்) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வழிமுறை இதுதான். இதற்கு முன்னரும் (இவ்வாறே) நடந்திருக்கின்றன. ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வழிமுறையில் நீங்கள் எவ்வித மாறுதலையும் காணமாட்டீர்கள்.

இவ்வாறு செய்வதே அல்லாஹ்வுடைய ஸுன்னத்து (நடைமுறை) ஆகும், இதற்கு முன்பும் (இவ்வாறு) நடந்திருக்கிறது - ஆகவே அல்லாஹ்வுடைய ஸுன்னத்தில் - (நடைமுறையில்) நீர் எவ்வித மாறுதலையும் காணமாட்டீர்.

(இதற்கு) முன்னர் சென்றுவிட்டதாகிய வழிமுறை (நிராகரிப்போர் விஷயத்தில் இதுதான்) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வழி முறையில் நீர் எவ்வித மாறுதலையும் காணவேமாட்டீர்.

Such was the way of Allah in the past, and you will not find any change in Allah’s way.

Wahuwa allathee kaffa aydiyahum AAankum waaydiyakum AAanhum bibatni makkata min baAAdi an athfarakum AAalayhim wakana Allahu bima taAAmaloona baseeran

And He it is Who has withheld their hands from you and your hands from them in the midst of Makkah, after He had made you victors over them. And Allâh is Ever All-Seer of what you do.

And it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within [the area of] Makkah after He caused you to overcome them. And ever is Allah of what you do, Seeing.

மக்காவின் சமீபமாக அவர்கள் மீது உங்களுக்கு வெற்றியைக் கொடுத்ததன் பின்னர், அவர்களுடைய கைகளை உங்களைவிட்டும் அவனே தடுத்துக்கொண்டான். (அவ்வாறே) உங்களுடைய கைகளையும் அவர்களை விட்டுத் தடுத்துக் கொண்டான். ஏனென்றால், அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்தவைகளை உற்று நோக்கியவனாகவே இருந்தான்.

இன்னும், அவன்தான் உங்களுக்கு அவர்கள் மீது வெற்றி அளித்த பிறகு, மக்காவினுள் அவர்களுடைய கைகளை உங்களை விட்டும், உங்கள் கைகளை அவர்களை விட்டும் தடுத்துக் கொண்டான். அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றையெல்லாம் நன்கு பார்ப்பவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், “மக்காவின் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் அவர்கள் மீது உங்களுக்கு வெற்றியைக் கொடுத்ததன் பின்னர், அவர்களுடைய கைகளை உங்களை விட்டும், (அவ்வாறே) உங்களுடைய கைகளை அவர்களை விட்டும் அவனே தடுத்துவிட்டான், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை பார்க்கிறவனாக இருக்கிறான்.

It is He Who restrained their hands from you and your hands from them [in Hudaibiyah] near Mecca, after giving you the upper hand over them. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.

Humu allatheena kafaroo wasaddookum AAani almasjidi alharami waalhadya maAAkoofan an yablugha mahillahu walawla rijalun muminoona wanisaon muminatun lam taAAlamoohum an tataoohum fatuseebakum minhum maAAarratun bighayri AAilmin liyudkhila Allahu fee rahmatihi man yashao law tazayyaloo laAAaththabna allatheena kafaroo minhum AAathaban aleeman

They are the ones who disbelieved (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) and hindered you from Al-Masjid Al-Harâm (at Makkah) and detained the sacrificial animals, from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom you did not know, that you may kill them and on whose account a sin would have been committed by you without (your) knowledge, that Allâh might bring into His Mercy whom He wills – if they (the believers and the disbelievers) had been apart, We verily, would have punished those of them who disbelieved with painful torment.

They are the ones who disbelieved and obstructed you from al-Masjid al-Haram while the offering was prevented from reaching its place of sacrifice. And if not for believing men and believing women whom you did not know - that you might trample them and there would befall you because of them dishonor without [your] knowledge - [you would have been permitted to enter Makkah]. [This was so] that Allah might admit to His mercy whom He willed. If they had been apart [from them], We would have punished those who disbelieved among them with painful punishment

(நீங்கள் வெற்றி கொண்ட) இந்த மக்காவாசிகள்தாம் (அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும்) நிராகரித்து விட்டதுடன், உங்களையும் சிறப்புற்ற மஸ்ஜித் (என்னும் கஅபாவு)க்குச் செல்லாதும், குர்பானியையும் அது செல்ல வேண்டிய எல்லைக்குச் செல்லாதும் தடுத்து நிறுத்தியவர்கள். ஆயினும், அங்கு அவர்களுடன் நீங்கள் அறியாத நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட ஆண்களும், பெண்களும் இருந்தனர். (அச்சமயம் உங்கள் எதிரிகளை நீங்கள் வெட்டினால்,) இந்த நம்பிக்கையாளர்களும் (நீங்கள் அறியாமல்) உங்கள் காலில் மிதிபட்டு, அதன் காரணமாக நீங்கள் அறியாது உங்களுக்கு நஷ்டம் ஏற்படக்கூடும் என்பது இல்லாதிருந்தால், (அச்சமயம் அவர்களுடன் போர் புரிய உங்களுக்கு அனுமதி கொடுத்து, மக்காவில் நீங்கள் நுழையும்படியும் செய்திருப்பான். அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் மக்காவில் நுழையாது உங்களை அவன் தடுத்துக் கொண்டதெல்லாம், ஹுதைபியா உடன்படிக்கையின் மத்திய காலத்தில்) அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களை (இஸ்லாம் என்னும்) தன் அருளில் புகுத்துவதற்காகவே ஆகும். (நீங்கள் அறியாத மக்காவிலுள்ள நம்பிக்கையாளர்கள்) அவர்களிலிருந்து விலகியிருப்பார்களேயானால், (அவர்கள் மீது போர் புரிய உங்களுக்கு அனுமதி கொடுத்து) அவர்களில் உள்ள நிராகரிப்பவர்களை நாம் கடினமாகவே துன்புறுத்தி வேதனை செய்வோம்.

“மஸ்ஜிதுல் ஹராமை விட்டு உங்களையும் (தடுத்து,) குர்பானி பிராணியை அதற்குரிய இடத்திற்கு செல்லமுடியாத படியும் தடுத்த காஃபிர்கள் அவர்கள்தான். (மக்காவில் ஈமானை மறைத்துக் கொண்ட) முஃமினான ஆண்களும் முஃமினான பெண்களும் இல்லாதிருந்தால் அவர்களை நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ளாமலேயே (உங்கள் கால்களால்) அவர்களை மிதித்திருப்பீர்கள்; (அவ்வாறே) அவர்கள் அறியாத நிலையில் அவர்கள் மூலம் உங்களுக்கு தீங்கு ஏற்பட்டிருக்கும். தான் நாடியவர்களை தனது அருளில் அல்லாஹ் நுழையச் செய்வதற்காகவே (அவன் மக்காவில் பிரவேசிக்க உங்களை அனுமதிக்கவில்லை; அங்கு இருக்கும்) முஃமின்கள் (காஃபிர்களை விட்டும்) விலகியிருந்தால் அவர்களில் காஃபிர்களை (மட்டும்) கடும் வேதனையாக வேதனை செய்திருப்போம்.

அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால், (அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும்) நிராகரித்து, சிறப்புற்ற (கஅபா என்னும்) மஸ்ஜிதை விட்டு உங்களையும், குர்பானியையும்-அது செல்லவேண்டிய இடத்திற்குச் செல்லாது நிறுத்திவைக்கப்பட்டதாகயிருக்கும் நிலையில் _தடுத்தார்கள், இன்னும், அவர்களை நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ளாத விசுவாசங்கொண்ட ஆண்களும் விசுவாசங்கொண்ட பெண்களும் (எதிரியின் மத்தியில்) இருக்க அறியாதவர்களாக இருக்கும் நிலையில் நீங்கள் அவர்களை மிதித்து, அதனால் அவர்களின் மூலம் ஏதேனும் சிரமம் உங்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்டுவிடும் என்பது இல்லையானால், (போர் செய்ய உங்களுக்கு அனுமதி வழங்கியிருப்பான், அவ்வாறு போர்செய்ய அனுமதிக்காதது ஏனெனில்) அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களை தன் அருளில் புகச் செய்வதற்காகவேயாகும்; அவர்கள் (நிராகரிப்போரிலிருந்து) பிரிந்திருப்பார்களேயானால் (அவர்கள் மீது யுத்தம் புரிய உங்களுக்கு அனுமதி கொடுத்து) அவர்களிலுள்ள நிராகரிப்போரை மிகத் துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையாக நாம் வேதனை செய்திருப்போம்.

It is they who disbelieved and prevented you from the Sacred Mosque, and detained the sacrificial animals from reaching their place of sacrifice. If it had not been for the believing men and women whom you could not identify, so you might have trampled them and thus incurring guilt unknowingly, [We would have let you march to Makkah]. [This was] so that Allah may admit to His mercy whom He wills. If they had been distinct [from the disbelievers], We would have surely inflicted on those who disbelieved among them a painful punishment.

Ith jaAAala allatheena kafaroo fee quloobihimu alhamiyyata hamiyyata aljahiliyyati faanzala Allahu sakeenatahu AAala rasoolihi waAAala almumineena waalzamahum kalimata alttaqwa wakanoo ahaqqa biha waahlaha wakana Allahu bikulli shayin AAaleeman

When those who disbelieve had put in their hearts pride and haughtiness – the pride and haughtiness of the time of ignorance, – then Allâh sent down His Sakînah (calmness and tranquillity) upon His Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] and upon the believers, and made them stick to the word of piety (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh); and they were well entitled to it and worthy of it. And Allâh is Ever All-Knower of everything.

When those who disbelieved had put into their hearts chauvinism - the chauvinism of the time of ignorance. But Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers and imposed upon them the word of righteousness, and they were more deserving of it and worthy of it. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing.

நிராகரித்தவர்கள் தங்களுடைய உள்ளங்களில் (உங்களை வேருடன் அழித்துவிட வேண்டுமென்ற) மூடத்தனமான வைராக்கியத்தை நிலைநிறுத்திக் கொண்ட சமயத்தை நினைத்துப் பாருங்கள். அச்சமயம் அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய தூதர் மீதும், நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள் மீதும், தன்னுடைய ஆறுதலையும், உறுதியையும் இறக்கி வைத்துப் பரிசுத்த வாக்கியத்தின் மீது அவர்களை உறுதிப்படுத்தினான். அவர்கள் அதற்குத் தகுதியுடையவர்களாகவும், அதனை அடைய வேண்டியவர் களாகவும் இருந்தார்கள். அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தையும் நன்கறிந் தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

(காஃபிராக) நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்களே அவர்கள் வைராக்கியத்தை - முட்டாள்தனமான வைராக்கியத்தை - தங்கள் உள்ளங்களில் உண்டாக்கிக் கொண்ட சமயம் அல்லாஹ் தன் தூதர் மீதும், முஃமின்கள் மீதும் தன் அமைதியை இறக்கியருள் செய்து, அவர்களுக்கு (பயபக்தியூட்டும்) தக்வாவுடைய வாக்கியத்தின் மீதும் அவர்களை நிலை பெறச் செய்தான்; அவர்களோ அதற்கு மிகவும் தகுதியுடையவர்களாகவும், அதற்குரியவர்களாகவும் இருந்தார்கள் - அல்லாஹ் சகல பொருள்களையும் நன்கறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

நிராகரித்தோர் தங்களுடைய இதயங்களில் (உங்களை வேருடன் அழித்துவிட வேண்டுமென்ற) வைராக்கியத்தை _அறியாமைக் காலத்து மூடத்தனமான வைராக்கியத்தை _ஆக்கி கொண்ட சமயத்தில் அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய தூதர் மீதும், விசுவாசங்ககொண்டவர்கள் மீதும், தன்னுடைய அமைதியை இறக்கி வைத்தான், பயபக்தியுடைய வார்த்தையை (லா இலாஹ இல்லல்லாஹ்வை) அவர்களுக்கு நிலையாக்கியும் வைத்தான், அவர்கள் அதற்கு மிக உரியவர்களாகவும், அதை உடையவர்களாகவும் இருந்தார்கள், அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளைப் பற்றியும் நன்கறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

When the disbelievers harbored pride in their hearts – the pride of ignorance – then Allah sent down His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers, and caused them to adhere to the word of piety [declaration of faith], for they were more deserving and worthy of it. And Allah is All-Knowing of everything.

Laqad sadaqa Allahu rasoolahu alrruya bialhaqqi latadkhulunna almasjida alharama in shaa Allahu amineena muhalliqeena ruoosakum wamuqassireena la takhafoona faAAalima ma lam taAAlamoo fajaAAala min dooni thalika fathan qareeban

Indeed Allâh shall fulfil the true vision which He showed to His Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] [i.e. the Prophet saw a dream that he has entered Makkah along with his Companions, having their (head) hair shaved and cut short] in very truth. Certainly, you shall enter Al-Masjid Al-Harâm, if Allâh wills, secure, (some) having your heads shaved, and (some) having your head hair cut short, having no fear. He knew what you knew not, and He granted before that a near victory.

Certainly has Allah showed to His Messenger the vision in truth. You will surely enter al-Masjid al-Haram, if Allah wills, in safety, with your heads shaved and [hair] shortened, not fearing [anyone]. He knew what you did not know and has arranged before that a conquest near [at hand].

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய தூதருக்கு அவர் கண்ட கனவை மெய்யாகவே உண்மையாக்கி வைத்துவிட்டான். அல்லாஹ் நாடினால், நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் சிறப்புற்ற மஸ்ஜிதில் அச்சமற்றவர் களாகவும், உங்களுடைய தலை ரோமத்தைச் சிரைத்துக் கொண்டவர்களாகவும், கத்தரித்துக் கொண்டவர்களாகவும் நுழைவீர்கள். அச்சமயம், நீங்கள் (ஒருவருக்கும்) பயப்பட மாட்டீர்கள். (அச்சமயம்) நீங்கள் அறியாதிருந்ததை (ஏற்கனவே அல்லாஹ்) அறிந்திருந்தான். ஆகவே, இதனையன்றி உடனடியான மற்றொரு வெற்றியையும் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்.

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தன் தூதருக்கு (அவர் கண்ட) கனவை உண்மையாக்கி விட்டான்; அல்லாஹ் விரும்பினால், நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் மஸ்ஜிதுல் ஹராமில் அச்சந்தீர்ந்தவர்களாகவும், உங்களுடைய தலைகளைச் சிரைத்துக் கொண்டவர்களாகவும்;, (உரோமம்) கத்தரித்துக் கொண்டவர்களாகவும் நுழைவீர்கள் (அப்போதும் எவருக்கும்) நீங்கள் பயப்பட மாட்டீர்கள், ஆகவே, நீங்கள் அறியாதிருப்பதை அவன் அறிகிறான் - (அதன் பின்னர்) இதனை அன்றி நெருங்கிய ஒரு வெற்றியையும் (உங்களுக்கு) ஆக்கிக் கொடுத்தான்,

திட்டமாக அல்லாஹ் உண்மையைக் கொண்டு தன்னுடைய தூதருக்கு (அவர் கண்ட) கனவை உண்மைப்படுத்தி விட்டான், அல்லாஹ் நாடினால், நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் (மஸ்ஜிதுல் ஹராமாகிய) சிறப்புற்ற மஸ்ஜிதில் அச்சமற்றவர்களாகவும், உங்களுடைய தலை(முடி)களைச் சிரைத்துக்கொண்டவர்களாகவும், (முடியை) குறைத்துக்கொண்டவர்களாகவும் நுழைவீர்கள், (அச்சமயம்) நீங்கள் (எவருக்கும்) பயப்படமாட்டீர்கள், ஆகவே, நீங்கள் அறியாதிருந்ததை (முன்னதாகவே அல்லாஹ்) அறிந்திருந்தான், பின்னர், இதனையன்றி சமீபத்தில் ஒரு வெற்றியையும் (உங்களுக்கு) ஆக்கினான்.

Indeed, Allah has fulfilled His Messenger’s dream in truth: that you will surely enter the Sacred Mosque if Allah wills, in peace and safety, and you will have your heads shaved or shortened, without any fear. He knew what you did not know, and He granted you prior to that an imminent conquest.

Huwa allathee arsala rasoolahu bialhuda wadeeni alhaqqi liyuthhirahu AAala alddeeni kullihi wakafa biAllahi shaheedan

He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islâm), that He may make it (Islâm) superior to all religions. And All-Sufficient is Allâh as a Witness.

It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion. And sufficient is Allah as Witness.

அவனே, தன்னுடைய தூதரை நேரான வழியைக் கொண்டும், சத்தியமான மார்க்கத்தைக் கொண்டும் அதை எல்லா மார்க்கங்களைவிட மேலோங்க வைப்பதற்காக அனுப்பி வைத்தான். இதற்கு அல்லாஹ்வே போதுமான சாட்சியாவான்.

அவனே தன் தூதரை நேரான வழியைக் கொண்டும், சத்திய மார்க்கத்தைக் கொண்டும், அனுப்பியருளினான்; சகல மார்க்கங்களையும் விட அதை மேலோங்கச் செய்வதற்காக (இதற்கு) அல்லாஹ் சாட்சியாக இருப்பதே போதுமானது.

அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால் தன்னுடைய தூதரை நேர் வழியைக் கொண்டும், சத்திய மார்க்கத்தைக் கொண்டும் அனுப்பி வைத்தான், சகல மார்க்கங்களையும் விட அதை மேலோங்கச் செய்வதற்காக (தன் தூதரை அனுப்பி வைத்தான்), இன்னும் (இதற்கு) சாட்சியாக இருக்க அல்லாஹ் போதுமானவன்.

It is He Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, to make it prevail over all religions, and sufficient is Allah as a Witness.

Muhammadun rasoolu Allahi waallatheena maAAahu ashiddao AAala alkuffari ruhamao baynahum tarahum rukkaAAan sujjadan yabtaghoona fadlan mina Allahi waridwanan seemahum fee wujoohihim min athari alssujoodi thalika mathaluhum fee alttawrati wamathaluhum fee alinjeeli kazarAAin akhraja shatahu faazarahu faistaghlatha faistawa AAala sooqihi yuAAjibu alzzurraAAa liyagheetha bihimu alkuffara waAAada Allahu allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati minhum maghfiratan waajran AAatheeman

Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] is the Messenger of Allâh. And those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and falling down prostrate (in prayer), seeking bounty from Allâh and (His) Good Pleasure. The mark of them (i.e. of their Faith) is on their faces (foreheads) from the traces of prostration (during prayers). This is their description in the Taurât (Torah). But their description in the Injîl (Gospel) is like a (sown) seed which sends forth its shoot, then makes it strong, and becomes thick and it stands straight on its stem, delighting the sowers, that He may enrage the disbelievers with them. Allâh has promised those among them who believe (i.e. all those who follow Islâmic Monotheism, the religion of Prophet Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] till the Day of Resurrection) and do righteous good deeds, forgiveness and a mighty reward (i.e. Paradise).

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers - so that Allah may enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward.

முஹம்மது (ஸல்) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய திருத்தூதராவார்கள். (அவரும்) அவருடன் இருப்பவர்களும் நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் விஷயத்தில் கண்டிப்பானவர்களாகவும், தங்களுக்குள் மிக்க அன்புடையவர்களாகவும் இருப்பார்கள். குனிந்து சிரம் பணிந்து வணங்குபவர்களாக அவர்களை நீங்கள் காண்பீர்கள். அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளையும், அவனுடைய திருப்பொருத்தத்தையும் (எந்த நேரமும்) விரும்பியவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள். அவர்களுடைய அடையாளமாவது: அவர்களுடைய முகங்களில் சிரம் பணி(ந்து வணங்கு)வதின் அடையாளமிருக்கும். இதுவே தவ்றாத் (என்னும் வேதத்)தில் உள்ள அவர்களின் வர்ணிப்பு. இன்ஜீலில் அவர் களுக்குள்ள உதாரணமாவது: ஒரு பயிரை ஒத்திருக்கின்றது. அப்பயிர் (பசுமையாகி, வளர்ந்து) உறுதிப்படுகின்றது. பின்னர், அது தடித்துக் கனமாகின்றது. பின்னர், விவசாயிக்கு ஆச்சரியம் கொடுக்கும் விதத்தில் (வளர்ந்து,) அது தன்னுடைய தண்டின் மீது நிமிர்ந்து நிற்கின்றது. இவர்களைக் கொண்டு நிராகரிப்பவர்களுக்குக் கோபமூட்டும் பொருட்டு (அந்த நம்பிக்கையாளர்களை படிப்படியாக அபிவிருத்திக்குக் கொண்டு வருகின்றான். எனினும்,) அவர்களில் எவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு நற்செயல்கள் செய்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ் மன்னிப்பையும், மகத்தான கூலியையும் வாக்களித்திருக்கின்றான்.

முஹம்மது(ஸல்) அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதராகவே இருக்கின்றார்; அவருடன் இருப்பவர்கள், காஃபிர்களிடம் கண்டிப்பானவர்கள், தங்களுக்கிடையே இரக்கமிக்கவர்கள். ருகூஃ செய்பவர்களாகவும், ஸுஜூது செய்பவர்களாகவும்; அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து (அவன்) அருளையும் (அவனுடைய) திருப்பொருத்தத்தையும் விரும்பி வேண்டுபவர்களாகவும் அவர்களை நீர் காண்பீர்; அவர்களுடைய அடையாளமாவது: அவர்களுடைய முகங்களில் (நெற்றியில்) ஸுஜூதுடைய அடையாளமிருக்கும்; இதுவே தவ்ராத்திலுள்ள அவர்களின் உதாரணமாகும், இன்ஜீலுள்ள அவர்கள் உதாரணமாவது: ஒரு பயிரைப் போன்றது; அது தன் முளையைக் கிளப்பி(ய பின்) அதை பலப்படுத்துகிறது; பின்னர் அது பருத்துக் கனமாகி, பிறகு விவசாயிகளை மகிழ்வடையச் செய்யும் விதத்தில், அது தன் அடித்தண்டின் மீது நிமிர்ந்து செவ்வையாக நிற்கிறது; இவற்றைக் கொண்டு நிராகரிப்பவர்களை அவன் கோப மூட்டுகிறான் - ஆனால் அவர்களில் எவர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான (நல்ல) அமல்கள் செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ் மன்னிப்பையும், மகத்தான கூலியையும் வாக்களிக்கின்றான்.

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are firm against the disbelievers and compassionate among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking Allah’s grace and pleasure. Their distinguishing sign is on their faces from the effects of prostration. Such is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is like that of a seed that sprouts its shoot, then makes it strong; then it grows thick and stands straight on its stem, which delights the sowers – so that He may enrage thereby the disbelievers. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness and a great reward.
