Hâ-Mîm.[These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings.]

ஹா, மீம்.

ஹாமீம்.

Hā Mīm.

Tanzeelu alkitabi mina Allahi alAAazeezi alhakeemi

The revelation of the Book (this Qur'ân) is from Allâh, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

(அனைவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனும் ஞானமுடையவனுமாகிய அல்லாஹ்வினால் இவ்வேதம் இறக்கப்பட்டது.

இவ்வேதம், யாவரையும் மிகைத்தோனும் ஞானம் மிக்கோனுமாகிய அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்தே இறக்கியருளப்பட்டது.

(யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தோன் தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையோன் ஆகிய அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து இவ்வேதம் இறக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

Inna fee alssamawati waalardi laayatin lilmumineena

Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers.

Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers.

நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களுக்கு, வானங்களிலும் பூமியிலும் நிச்சயமாக பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

முஃமின்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

விசுவாசங்கொண்டோர்க்கு நிச்சயமாக வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் அத்தாட்சிகளிருக்கின்றன.

Indeed, there are signs in the heavens and earth for the believers;

Wafee khalqikum wama yabuththu min dabbatin ayatun liqawmin yooqinoona

And in your creation, and what He scattered (through the earth) of moving (living) creatures are signs for people who have Faith with certainty.

And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith].

உங்களை படைத்திருப்பதிலும், (பூமியில்) பல ஜீவராசிகளை(ப் பல பாகங்களிலும்) பரப்பி வைத்திருப்பதிலும், (நம்பிக்கையில்) உறுதியான (நல்ல) மக்களுக்குப் பல அத்தாட்சிகளிருக்கின்றன.

இன்னும் உங்களைப் படைத்திருப்பதிலும், அவன் உயிர்ப் பிராணிகளைப் பரப்பியிருப்பதிலும் (நம்பிக்கையில்) உறுதியுள்ள சமூகத்தாருக்கு அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

இன்னும், உங்களைப் படைத்திருப்பதிலும், ஜீவராசிகளை அவன் பரவச்செய்திருப்பதிலும், (விசுவாசத்தில்) உறுதிகொள்கின்ற சமூகத்தார்க்கு அத்தாட்சிகளிருக்கின்றன.

and in your creation and the living creatures that He spreads out, there are signs for people who are certain in faith.

Waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahari wama anzala Allahu mina alssamai min rizqin faahya bihi alarda baAAda mawtiha watasreefi alrriyahi ayatun liqawmin yaAAqiloona

And in the alternation of night and day, and the provision (rain) that Allâh sends down from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the turning about of the winds (i.e. sometimes towards the east or north, and sometimes towards the south or west sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain and sometimes bringing the torment), are signs for a people who understand.

And [in] the alternation of night and day and [in] what Allah sends down from the sky of provision and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and [in His] directing of the winds are signs for a people who reason.

இரவு, பகல் மாறிமாறி வரும்படி அல்லாஹ் செய்திருப்பதிலும், வானத்திலிருந்து மழையை இறக்கி வைத்து, அதனைக்கொண்டு (வரண்டு) இறந்துபோன பூமியை உயிர்ப்பிப்பதிலும், (பல திசைகளுக்கும்) காற்றுகளை திருப்பிவிடுவதிலும் அறிவுடைய மக்களுக்குப் பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

மேலும் இரவு பகல் மாறி மாறி வருவதிலும், வானத்திலிருந்து அருள் மாரியை அல்லாஹ் இறக்கி வைத்து, இறந்து போன பூமியை அதைக் கொண்டு உயிர்ப்பிப்பதிலும்; காற்றுகளை மாறி மாறி வீசச்செய்வதிலும் அறிவுடைய சமூகத்தாருக்கு அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

மேலும், இரவு பகல் மாறி மாறி வருவதிலும், இன்னும் வானத்திலிருந்து மழையை அல்லாஹ் இறக்கிவைத்து, அதனைக் கொண்டு பூமியை அது (வறட்சியினால்) இறந்துபோனபின் உயிர்ப்பிப்பதிலும் (நாலாபாகங்களிலும் பருவத்திற்குத்தக்கவாறு) காற்றுகளைத் திருப்பிவிடுவதிலும் விளங்கிக் கொள்ளும் சமூகத்தார்க்கு அத்தாட்சிகளிருக்கின்றன.

And in the alternation of the night and day, the provision that Allah sends down from the sky, reviving thereby the earth after its death, and directing of the winds, there are signs for people of understanding.

Tilka ayatu Allahi natlooha AAalayka bialhaqqi fabiayyi hadeethin baAAda Allahi waayatihi yuminoona

These are the آyat (verses) of Allâh, which We recite to you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) with truth. Then in which speech after Allâh and His Ayât will they believe?

These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe?

(நபியே!) இவை அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களாகும். மெய்யாகவே உங்கள் மீது நாம் இவைகளை ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கிறோம். அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய வசனங்களுக்கும் பின்னர் இவர்கள் எவ்விஷயத்தை நம்புவார்கள்?

இவை அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்கள், இவற்றை (நபியே!) உம்மீது உண்மையுடன் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கிறோம்; அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய வசனங்களுக்கும் பின்னர் இவர்கள் எதனைத் தான் நம்பப் போகிறார்கள்.

அவை(களைத் தன்னகத்தே கொண்ட குர் ஆன்) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களாகும், உண்மையைக் கொண்டு அவற்றை உம்மீது நாம் ஓதிக்காண்பிக்கிறோம், எனவே அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய வசனங்களுக்கும் பின்னர், இவர்கள் எச்செய்தியைத்தான் நம்புவார்கள்?

These are the signs of Allah that We recite to you in truth. What message will they believe in after Allah and His signs?

Waylun likulli affakin atheemin

Woe to every sinful liar

Woe to every sinful liar

(இவ்வாறு நிராகரித்துவிட்டுப் பொய்யான தெய்வங்களைக்) கற்பனையாகக் கூறும் பாவிகளுக்கெல்லாம் கேடுதான்!

(சத்தியத்தை புறக்கணித்துப்) பொய்க் கற்பனை செய்யும் பாவிகள் யாவருக்கும் கேடுதான்.

(நாவால்) பெரும் பொய்கூறி, (செயலால்) பாவியான ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் கேடுதான்.

Woe to every sinful liar,

YasmaAAu ayati Allahi tutla AAalayhi thumma yusirru mustakbiran kaan lam yasmaAAha fabashshirhu biAAathabin aleemin

Who hears the Verses of Allâh (being) recited to him, yet persists with pride as if he heard them not. So announce to him a painful torment!

Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.

எவன், தனக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்ட அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களைக் கேட்டபின்னர், அதனைத் தன் காதால் கேட்காதவனைப்போல் கர்வம்கொண்டு (நிராகரிப்பின் மீதே) பிடிவாதமாக இருக்கின்றானோ அவனுக்குத் துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையைக் கொண்டு (நபியே!) நீங்கள் நற்செய்தி கூறுங்கள்.

தன் மீது ஓதிக்காட்டப்படும் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களைக் கேட்கிறான்; பின்பு பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டு அவன் அதைக் கேளாதது போல் (தன் நிராகரிப்பில்) பிடிவாதம் செய்கிறான்; அ(த்தகைய)வனுக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனையைக் கொண்டு நன்மாராயம் கூறுவீராக.

தன்மீது ஓதிக்காண்பிக்கப்படும் அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களை அவன் (செவியேற்றுக்) கேட்கிறான், பின்னர் கர்வங்கொண்டு அவற்றைக் (காதால்) கேட்காதவனைப்போல் (தன் நிராகரிப்பில்) பிடிவாதமாக இருக்கின்றான், அ(த்தகைய)வனுக்குத் துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையைக் கொண்டு (நபியே!) நீர் நன்மாராயங் கூறுவீராக!

who hears the verses of Allah being recited to him, yet he persists in his arrogance, as if he did not hear them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.

Waitha AAalima min ayatina shayan ittakhathaha huzuwan olaika lahum AAathabun muheenun

And when he learns something of Our Verses (this Qur'ân), he makes them a jest. For such there will be a humiliating torment.

And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.

நம்முடைய வசனங்களில் எதனை அவன் கேள்விப்பட்ட போதிலும், அதனை அவன் பரிகாசமாகவே எடுத்துக் கொள்கின்றான். இத்தகையவனுக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனை உண்டு.

நம் வசனங்களிலிருந்து ஏதாவது ஒன்றை அவன் அறிந்து கொண்டால், அதைப் பரிகாசமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறான்; அ(த்தகைய)வர்களுக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனையுண்டு.

மேலும், நம்முடைய வசனங்களில் எதனையாவது அவன் அறிந்து கொண்டால், அதனை அவன் பரிகாசமாக எடுத்துக்கொள்கிறான். அத்தகையோர்_அவர்களுக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனை உண்டு.

When he comes to know anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. For them there will be a humiliating punishment.

Min waraihim jahannamu wala yughnee AAanhum ma kasaboo shayan wala ma ittakhathoo min dooni Allahi awliyaa walahum AAathabun AAatheemun

In front of them there is Hell. And that which they have earned will be of no profit to them, nor (will be of any profit to them) those whom they have taken as Auliyâ' (protectors, helpers) besides Allâh. And theirs will be a great torment.

Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment.

இத்தகையவர்களுக்கு பின்புறம் நரகம்தான் இருக்கின்றது. அவர்கள் சேகரித்திருப்பவைகளோ அல்லது தங்களுக்குப் பாதுகாப்பாளர்கள் என்று அவர்கள் எடுத்துக்கொண்ட அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவைகளோ, அவர்களுக்கு யாதொரு பயனும் அளிக்காது. அவர்களுக்கு கடுமையான வேதனை உண்டு.

அவர்களுக்கு முன்னால் நரகம் இருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்துக் கொண்டதில் எப்பொருளும் அவர்களுக்குப் பயன் தராது; அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி, எவற்றை அவர்கள் பாதுகாவலர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டார்களோ அவையும் (அவர்களுக்குப் பயன் தராது); மேலும், அவர்களுக்கு மாபெரும் வேதனையுமுண்டு.

அவர்களுக்கு முன்னால் நரகந்தான் இருக்கின்றது, அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்துக் கொண்டவை எவையும் அவர்களுக்குப் பயனளிக்காது, அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி பாதுகாப்பாளர்களாக அவர்கள் எடுத்துக் கொண்டவர்களும் (அவர்களுக்குப் பயன் அளிப்பவர்) அல்லர், மேலும், அவர்களுக்கு மகத்தான வேதனையுமுண்டு.

Behind them is Hell; neither their gains nor those whom they took besides Allah as protectors will avail them anything, and for them there will be a great punishment.

Hatha hudan waallatheena kafaroo biayati rabbihim lahum AAathabun min rijzin aleemin

This (Qur'ân) is a guidance. And those who disbelieve in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, for them there is a painful torment of Rijz (a severe kind of punishment).

This [Qur'an] is guidance. And those who have disbelieved in the verses of their Lord will have a painful punishment of foul nature.

இவ்வேதம்தான் நேரான பாதை. ஆகவே, எவர்கள் தங்கள் இறைவனின் வசனங்களை நிராகரிக்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு மிக கடினமான துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனை உண்டு.

இது (குர்ஆன்)தான் நேர்வழிகாட்டியாகும். எவர்கள் தம்முடைய இறைவனின் வசனங்களை நிராகரித்து விட்டார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு நோவினை மிகுந்த கடினமான வேதனையுண்டு.  

(குர் ஆனாகிய) இது நேர் வழியாகும், இன்னும், தங்களுடைய இரட்சகனின் வசனங்களை நிராகரிக்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர்_ அவர்களுக்கு மிகக்கடுமையான வேதனையிலிருந்து துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையுண்டு.

This [Qur’an] is guidance, and for those who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord there will be scourge of painful torment.

Allahu allathee sakhkhara lakumu albahra litajriya alfulku feehi biamrihi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona

Allâh, it is He Who has subjected to you the sea, that ships may sail through it by His Command, and that you may seek of His bounty, and that you may be thankful.

It is Allah who subjected to you the sea so that ships may sail upon it by His command and that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.

அல்லாஹ் கடலை உங்களுக்கு வசதியாக அமைத் திருக்கின்றான். அவன் கட்டளையைக் கொண்டு (பல தீவுகளுக்குக்) கப்பலில் சென்று (அதன் மூலம்) அவனுடைய அருளை நீங்கள் தேடிக்கொள்கின்றீர்கள். (அதற்காக அவனுக்கு) நீங்கள் நன்றி செலுத்துவீர்களாக!

கப்பல்கள் அவன் கட்டளையைக் கொண்டு (கடலில்) செல்லும் பொருட்டும், நீங்கள் அவனுடைய அருளைத் தேடிக்கொள்ளும் பொருட்டும்; மேலும் அவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும் பொருட்டும் உங்களுக்குக் கடலை வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தவன் அல்லாஹ்வே ஆவான்.

அல்லாஹ் எத்தகையவனென்றால், கடலை_அதில் அவன் கட்டளையைக் கொண்டு கப்பல்கள் செல்வதற்காகவும், மேலும் (அதன் மூலம்), அவனின் பேரருளை நீங்கள் தேடிக்கொள்வதற்காகவும், நீங்கள் நன்றி செலுத்துவதற்காகவும் உங்களுக்காக அவன் வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தான்.

It is Allah Who has subjected for you the sea, so that the ships may sail on it by His command, and so that you may seek His bounty, and so that you may be grateful.

Wasakhkhara lakum ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi jameeAAan minhu inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona

And has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; it is all as a favour and kindness from Him. Verily, in it are signs for a people who think deeply.

And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth - all from Him. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

அன்றி, (அவ்வாறே) வானங்களிலும் பூமியிலுமுள்ள அனைத்தையுமே அவன் தன்னுடைய அருளால் உங்களு(டைய நன்மை)க்கு (உழைக்கும்படி) கட்டுப்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்கிறான். கவனித்து ஆராயும் மக்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக இதில் பல படிப்பினைகள் இருக்கின்றன.

அவனே வானங்களிலுள்ளவை, பூமியிலுள்ளவை அனைத்தையும் தன் அருளால் உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறான்; அதில் சிந்திக்கும் சமூகத்தாருக்கு நிச்சயமாகப் பல அத்தாட்சிகள் உள்ளன.

இன்னும், வானங்களில் உள்ளவை, பூமியிலுள்ளவை அனைத்தையும் தன்னிடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு அவனே வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தான், நிச்சயமாக இதில் சிந்திக்கும் சமூகத்தார்க்கு பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

And He has subjected for you all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; all is from Him. Indeed, there are signs in this for people who reflect.

Qul lillatheena amanoo yaghfiroo lillatheena la yarjoona ayyama Allahi liyajziya qawman bima kanoo yaksiboona

Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) to the believers to forgive those who (harm them and) hope not for the Days of Allâh (i.e. His Recompense), that He may recompense a people, according to what they have earned (i.e. to punish these disbelievers who harm the believers).

Say, [O Muhammad], to those who have believed that they [should] forgive those who expect not the days of Allah so that He may recompense a people for what they used to earn.

(நபியே!) நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "அல்லாஹ்வுடைய தண்டனைகளை நம்பாத மக்களை நீங்கள் புறக்கணித்து (அவர்கள் விஷயத்தை அல்லாஹ்விடமே விட்டு) விடுங்கள். (நன்மையோ, தீமையோ செய்யும்) மக்களுக்கு அவர்கள் செய்யும் செயலுக்குத் தக்க பலனை அவன் கொடுப்பான்.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு (நபியே!) நீர் கூறிவிடும்: அல்லாஹ்வுடைய (தண்டனைக்கான) நாட்களை நம்பாதவர்களை அவர்கள் மன்னித்து (அவர்களைப் பற்றி அல்லாஹ்விடம் பரஞ் சாட்டிவிடட்டும்); ஜனங்களுக்கு அவர்கள் தேடிக் கொண்ட வினைக்குத் தக்கபலனை அவன் கொடுப்பான்.  

(நபியே!) விசுவாசங்கொண்டோருக்கு நீர் கூறுவீராக: அல்லாஹ்வுடைய (தண்டனைகளின்) நாட்களை நம்பாதவர்களை, அவர்கள் மன்னித்துவிடட்டும், ஏனென்றால், அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்துக் கொண்டவற்றிற்குப் பிரதியாக கூட்டத்தினருக்கு அவன் கூலி கொடுப்பதற்காக.

Tell those who believe to forgive those who do not fear the days of Allah, so that He may recompense each people for what they used to do.

Man AAamila salihan falinafsihi waman asaa faAAalayha thumma ila rabbikum turjaAAoona

Whosoever does a good deed, it is for his own self, and whosoever does evil, it is against (his own self). Then to your Lord you will be made to return.

Whoever does a good deed - it is for himself; and whoever does evil - it is against the self. Then to your Lord you will be returned.

எவர் நன்மை செய்கின்றாரோ அது அவருக்கே நன்று. எவன் தீமை செய்கின்றானோ அது அவனுக்கே கேடாகும். பின்னர், நீங்கள் உங்கள் இறைவனிடமே கொண்டு வரப்படுவீர்கள்.

எவர் ஸாலிஹான (நல்ல) அமலை செய்கிறாரோ அது அவருக்கே நன்மையாகும்; அன்றியும், எவர் தீமையைச் செய்கிறாரோ, அது அவருக்கே தீமையாகும், பின்னர் உங்கள் இறைவனிடமே நீங்கள் மீட்டப்படுவீர்கள்.

எவர் நற்செயல் செய்கின்றாரோ, (அது) அவருக்கே நன்று, எவர் தீமை செய்கின்றாரோ (அது) அவருக்கே கேடாகும், பின்னர் நீங்கள் உங்கள் இரட்சகனின் பக்கமே மீட்டப்படுவீர்கள்.

Whoever does righteous deed, it is for his own benefit; and whoever does evil deed, it is to his own loss. Then to your Lord you will be returned.

Walaqad atayna banee israeela alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata warazaqnahum mina alttayyibati wafaddalnahum AAala alAAalameena

And indeed We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture, and the understanding of the Scripture and its laws, and the Prophethood; and provided them with good things, and preferred them to the 'آlamîn (mankind and jinn of their time, during that period),

And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.

நிச்சயமாக நாம் இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகளுக்கு வேதத்தையும், (ஞானத்தையும்,) அதிகாரத்தையும், நபிப்பட்டத்தையும் கொடுத்து மேலான உணவுகளையும் கொடுத்தோம். அன்றி, உலகத்தார் அனைவரிலும் அவர்களை மேலாக்கி வைத்தோம்.

நிச்சயமாக நாம், இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததியினருக்கு வேதத்தையும், அதிகாரத்தையும், நுபுவ்வத்தையும் கொடுத்தோம்; அவர்களுக்கு மணமான உணவு (வசதி)களையும் கொடுத்தோம் - அன்றியும் அகிலத்தாரில் அவர்களை மேன்மையாக்கினோம்.

நிச்சயமாக, நாம் இஸ்ராயீலின் மக்களுக்கு வேதத்தையும், அதிகாரத்தையும், நபித்துவத்தையும் கொடுத்தோம், மேலும் (உண்ணுவதற்கு) நல்லவற்றிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு உணவும் கொடுத்தோம், அன்றியும் அகிலத்தாரைவிட அவர்களை நாம் மேன்மையாக்கியும் வைத்தோம்.

Indeed, We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture, wisdom, and prophethood; provided them with good things; and favored them above all others.

Waataynahum bayyinatin mina alamri fama ikhtalafoo illa min baAAdi ma jaahumu alAAilmu baghyan baynahum inna rabbaka yaqdee baynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehi yakhtalifoona

And gave them clear proofs in matters [by revealing to them the Taurât (Torah)]. And they differed not until after the knowledge came to them, through envy among themselves. Verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they used to differ.

And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

அன்றி, நம் கட்டளைகளைப் பற்றித் தெளிவான வசனங்களை நாம் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தோம். (இவ்வாறிருந்தும்) அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கிடையிலுள்ள பொறாமையின் காரணமாக, அவர்களிடம் (வேத) ஞானம் வந்ததன் பின்னர், அவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் (தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டு) பிரிந்துவிட்டனர். (நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக உங்களது இறைவன் அவர்கள் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டவைகளைப் பற்றி மறுமையில் அவர்களுக்கிடையில் தீர்ப்பளிப்பான்.

அவர்களுக்கு (மார்க்க விஷயத்தில்) தெளிவான கட்டளைகளையும் கொடுத்தோம்; எனினும் அவர்களுக்கிடையே உண்டான பொறாமையினால், அவர்களுக்கு (வேத) ஞானம் வந்தபின்னரும் அவர்கள் அபிப்பிராய பேதம் கொண்டார்கள்; நிச்சயமாக உம் இறைவன் அவர்கள் எதில் அபிப்பிராய பேதம் கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அதில் கியாம நாளில் அவர்களிடையே தீர்ப்புச் செய்வான்.

இன்னும், (மார்க்கக்) காரியத்தில் (சான்றுகளிலிருந்து) தெளிவானவைகளை நாம் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தோம், பின்னர், அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கிடையே உண்டான பொறாமையின் காரணமாக, அவர்களுக்கு (வேத) அறிவு வந்ததன் பின்னரே தவிர அவர்கள் அபிப்பிராயபேதம் கொள்ளவில்லை, (நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக உமதிரட்சகன், அவர்கள் எதில் அபிப்பிரயாபேதம் கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அதில், மறுமை நாளில் அவர்களிடையே தீர்ப்பளிப்பான்.

We gave them clear directions in matters [of religion]. They did not differ except after the knowledge had come to them out of transgression against one another. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning their differences.

Thumma jaAAalnaka AAala shareeAAatin mina alamri faittabiAAha wala tattabiAA ahwaa allatheena la yaAAlamoona

Then We have put you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) on a (plain) way of (Our) commandment [like the one which We commanded Our Messengers before you (i.e. legal ways and laws of Islâmic Monotheism)]. So follow you that (Islâmic Monotheism and its laws), and follow not the desires of those who know not. (Tafsir At-Tabarî)

Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know.

(நபியே!) மார்க்கத்தின் நேரான ஒரு வழியில்தான் நாம் உங்களை ஆக்கியிருக்கின்றோம். ஆகவே, அதனையே நீங்கள் பின்பற்றி நடப்பீராக! கல்வி ஞானமற்ற இந்த மக்களின் விருப்பத்தை நீங்கள் பின்பற்றாதீர்கள்.

இதன் பின்னர் உம்மை ஷரீஅத்தில் (மார்க்கத்தில்) ஒரு நேரான வழியில் நாம் ஆக்கியுள்ளோம். ஆகவே நீர் அதனையே பின்பற்றுவீராக; அன்றியும், அறியாமல் இருக்கின்றார்களே அவர்களின் விருப்பங்களைப் பின்பற்றாதீர்.

இதன் பின்னர் (மார்க்கக்) காரியத்தில் (தெளிவான) ஒரு வழியின் மீது உம்மை நாம் ஆக்கி இருக்கின்றோம், ஆகவே, அதனை(யே) நீர் பின்பற்றுவீராக! (உண்மையை) அறியாதவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்களே அவர்களின் மனோ இச்சைகளை நீர் பின்பற்றாதீர்.

Then We put you [O Prophet] on a clear way of the religion; so follow it and do not follow the desires of those who have no knowledge.

Innahum lan yughnoo AAanka mina Allahi shayan wainna alththalimeena baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin waAllahu waliyyu almuttaqeena

Verily, they can avail you nothing against Allâh (if He wants to punish you). Verily, the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong doers) are Auliyâ' (protectors, helpers) of one another, but Allâh is the Walî (Helper, Protector) of the Muttaqûn (the pious. See V.2:2).

Indeed, they will never avail you against Allah at all. And indeed, the wrongdoers are allies of one another; but Allah is the protector of the righteous.

நிச்சயமாக இவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு விரோதமாக உங்களுக்கு யாதொரு உதவியும் செய்துவிட முடியாது. நிச்சயமாக அநியாயக்காரர்களுள் சிலர், (அவர்களில்) சிலருக்குத்தான் நண்பர்கள். (நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு அல்ல.) அல்லாஹ், இறை அச்சமுடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு நண்பன்.

நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு எதிராக உமக்கு யாதோர் உதவியும் செய்து விட முடியாது. இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக அநியாயக்காரர்களில் சிலர் சிலருக்குப் பாதுகாவலர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் பயபக்தியுடையவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ்வே பாதுகாவலன் ஆவான்

நிச்சயமாக, அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு விரோதமாக உம்மைவிட்டு எதனையும் தடுத்து விடவேமாட்டார்கள், நிச்சயமாக, அநியாயக்காரர்கள் _ அவர்களில் சிலர், சிலருக்கு உதவியாளர்களாகவும் இருக்கிறார்கள், இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் பயபக்தியுடைவர்களின் பாதுகாவலன்.

They cannot avail you at all against Allah. Indeed, the wrongdoers are protectors of one another, whereas Allah is the Protector of the righteous.

Hatha basairu lilnnasi wahudan warahmatun liqawmin yooqinoona

This (Qur'ân) is a clear insight and evidence for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who have Faith with certainty.

This [Qur'an] is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy for a people who are certain [in faith].

இது மனிதர்களுக்கு நல்லுணர்ச்சியாகவும், நம்பக்கூடிய மக்களுக்கு நேரான வழியாகவும் அருளாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

இது (குர்ஆன்) மனிதர்களுக்கு தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளைக் கொண்டதாகவும், உறுதியான நம்பிக்கையுடைய சமூகத்தாருக்கு நேர்வழியாகவும், ரஹ்மத்தாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

(குர் ஆனாகிய) இது மனிதர்களுக்குத் தெளிவான ஆதாரங்களாகவும், உறுதி கொள்கின்ற சமூகத்தார்க்கு நேர் வழியாகவும், அருளாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

This [Qur’an] is an insight for people; a guidance and mercy for people who are certain in faith.

Am hasiba allatheena ijtarahoo alssayyiati an najAAalahum kaallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati sawaan mahyahum wamamatuhum saa ma yahkumoona

Or do those who earn evil deeds think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, in their present life and after their death? Worst is the judgement that they make.

Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death? Evil is that which they judge.

எவர்கள் பாவத்தைத் தேடிக் கொண்டார்களோ அவர்கள், நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு நற்செயல்களைச் செய்தவர்களைப் போல் ஆகிவிடுவோம் என்று எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனரா? அவர்கள் உயிருடன் இருப்பதும் அவர்கள் இறந்துவிடுவதும் சமமே. அவர்கள் (இதற்கு மாறாகச்) செய்துகொண்ட முடிவு மகா கெட்டது.

எவர்கள் தீமைகள் செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்களை, எவர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டு நல்ல அமல்கள் செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுக்குச் சமமாக நாம் ஆக்கிவிடுவோம் என்று எண்ணுகின்றார்களா? அவர்கள் உயிருடனிருப்பதும், மரணமடைவதும் சமமாகுமா? அவர்கள் முடிவு செய்து கொண்டது மிகவும் கெட்டதாகும்.  

தீமைகளைச் சம்பாதித்து கொண்டார்களே அத்தகையோர்_ விசுவாசங் கொண்டு நற்கருமங்களையும் செய்தார்களே அத்தகையோரைப் போன்று அவர்களையும் நாம் ஆக்கிவிடுவோம் என்று எண்ணிக் கொண்டார்களா? அவர்கள் ஜீவித்து இருப்பதும், அவர்கள் மரணித்துவிடுவதும், சமமே, அவர்கள் (இதற்கு மாறாகத் தீர்ப்புச் செய்து கொண்டது மிகக் கெட்டதாகிவிட்டது.

Do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them equal to those who believe and do righteous deeds, in this life and after their death? How poorly they judge!

Wakhalaqa Allahu alssamawati waalarda bialhaqqi walitujza kullu nafsin bima kasabat wahum la yuthlamoona

And Allâh has created the heavens and the earth with truth, in order that each person may be recompensed what he has earned, and they will not be wronged.

And Allah created the heavens and earth in truth and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.

வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் அல்லாஹ் தக்க காரணத்தின் மீதே படைத்திருக்கின்றான். ஆகவே, (அவர்களில் உள்ள) ஒவ்வொரு ஆத்மாவுக்கும் அவைகளின் செயலுக்குத்தக்க கூலியே கொடுக்கப்படும். அவை (அணுவளவும்) அநியாயம் செய்யப்பட மாட்டாது.

வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் அல்லாஹ் உண்மையுடன் (தக்க காரணத்தைக் கொண்டே) படைத்துள்ளான்; ஒவ்வோர் ஆத்மாவும் அது தேடிக் கொண்டதற்குத் தக்க கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவதற்காக; அவை அநியாயம் செய்யப்படமாட்டா.

வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் அல்லாஹ் நீதியைக் கொண்டு (தக்க காரணத்திற்காகவே) படைத்திருக்கிறான், இன்னும், ஒவ்வொரு ஆத்மாவும் அது சம்பாதித்ததைக்கொண்டு கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவதற்காகவும் (படைத்துள்ளான்), அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்யப்படவுமாட்டார்கள்.

Allah created the heavens and earth for a true purpose, and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.

Afaraayta mani ittakhatha ilahahu hawahu waadallahu Allahu AAala AAilmin wakhatama AAala samAAihi waqalbihi wajaAAala AAala basarihi ghishawatan faman yahdeehi min baAAdi Allahi afala tathakkaroona

Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilâh (god)? And Allâh knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allâh? Will you not then remember?

Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded?

(நபியே!) தன்னுடைய உடல் ஆசையை இச்சையை(த் தான் வணங்கும்) தெய்வமாக எடுத்துக்கொண்ட ஒருவனை நீங்கள் கவனித்தீர்களா? அவனுக்கு(ப் போதுமான) கல்வி இருந்தும் (அவனது பாவத்தின் காரணமாக) அல்லாஹ் அவனைத் தவறான வழியில் விட்டு, அவனுடைய செவியின் மீதும், உள்ளத்தின் மீதும் முத்திரையிட்டு விட்டான். அவனுடைய பார்வையின் மீதும் ஒரு திரையை அமைத்து விட்டான். அல்லாஹ் இவ்வாறு செய்த பின்னர், அவனை யாரால்தான் நேரான வழியில் செலுத்த முடியும்? (இதனை) நீங்கள் கவனித்துப் பார்க்க வேண்டாமா?

(நபியே!) எவன் தன்னுடைய (சரீர, மனோ) இச்சையைத் தன்னுடைய தெய்வமாக ஆக்கிக் கொண்டானோ, அவனை நீர் பார்த்தீரா? மேலும், அறிந்தே அல்லாஹ் அவனை வழிகேட்டில் விட்டு அவனுடைய காதுகள் மீதும் இருதயத்தின் மீதும் முத்திரையிட்டு; இன்னும், அவனுடைய பார்வை மீதும் திரையை அமைத்துவிட்டான். எனவே, அல்லாஹ்வுக்குப் பிறகு அவனுக்கு நேர்வழி காண்பிப்பவர் யார்? நீங்கள் சிந்தித்து உணர வேண்டாமா?

(நபியே!) தன்னுடைய (மனோ) இச்சையை(த் தான் வணங்கும்) தெய்வமாக எடுத்துக்கொண்டானே அவனை நீர் பார்த்தீரா? (அவன் வழி கெடுவதற்கு உரியவன் என்ற தன்) அறிவினால் அல்லாஹ் அவனைத் தவறான வழியில் விட்டு விட்டான், அவனுடைய செவியின் மீதும், அவனுடைய இதயத்தின் மீதும் முத்திரையிட்டுவிட்டான், அன்றியும், அவனுடைய பார்வையின் மீதும் ஒரு திரையை ஆக்கிவிட்டான், அல்லாஹ்வுக்குப்பிறகு அவனுக்கு நேர் வழிகாட்டுபவர் யார்? நீங்கள் நினைவு கூர்ந்து உணர மாட்டீர்களா?

Have you seen the one who took his whims as his god, and Allah caused him to stray despite having knowledge, and sealed up his hearing and heart, and put a cover over his sight? Who can guide him after Allah? Will you not then take heed?

Waqaloo ma hiya illa hayatuna alddunya namootu wanahya wama yuhlikuna illa alddahru wama lahum bithalika min AAilmin in hum illa yathunnoona

And they say: "There is nothing but our life of this world, we die and we live and nothing destroys us except Ad-Dahr (time)." And they have no knowledge of it, they only conjecture.

And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time." And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming.

"இவ்வுலகத்தில் நாம் வாழும் வாழ்க்கையைத் தவிர வேறொரு வாழ்க்கை இல்லை" என்றும், "(இதில்தான்) நாம் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம்; பின்னர் இறந்து விடுகின்றோம். காலத்தைத் தவிர (வேறு யாதொன்றும்) நம்மை அழிப்பதில்லை" என்றும் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர். இதைப்பற்றி இவர்களுக்கு யாதொரு ஞானமும் இல்லை. இவர்கள் வீண் சந்தேகத்தில் ஆழ்ந்திருப் போரைத் தவிர வேறில்லை.

மேலும் (மறுமையை நம்பாத) அவர்கள்: “நமது இந்த உலக வாழ்க்கையைத் தவிர வேறு (வாழ்க்கை) கிடையாது; நாம் இறக்கிறோம்; ஜீவிக்கிறோம்; “காலம்” தவிர வேறெதுவும் நம்மை அழிப்பதில்லை” என்று கூறுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுக்கு அது பற்றிய அறிவு கிடையாது - அவர்கள் (இது பற்றிக் கற்பனையாக) எண்ணுவதைத் தவிர வேறில்லை.

“இது நமது இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையைத் தவிர வேறு (வாழ்க்கை) இல்லை,” (இதில்தான்) நாம் இறந்துவிடுகின்றோம், இன்னும், ஜீவிக்கின்றோம், காலத்தைத் தவிர வேறெதுவும் நம்மை அழிப்பதில்லை” என்றும் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர், அது பற்றிய எவ்வித அறிவும் அவர்களுக்கில்லை, அவர்கள் (வீண் கற்பனையாக) எண்ணுகிறார்களே தவிர (வேறு) இல்லை.

And they say, “There is nothing but our life of this world: we die and we live, and nothing causes us to die except time.” They have no knowledge of that; they only speculate.

Waitha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna bayyinatin ma kana hujjatahum illa an qaloo itoo biabaina in kuntum sadiqeena

And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, their argument is no other than that they say: "Bring back our (dead) fathers, if you are truthful!"

And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, their argument is only that they say, "Bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful."

அவர்களுக்கு நம்முடைய தெளிவான வசனங்கள் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால் (அவர்கள் நம்பிக்கையாளர்களை நோக்கி,) "மெய்யாகவே (மரணித்தவர்கள் உயிர்பெற்று எழும்புவார்கள் என்ற விஷயத்தில்) நீங்கள் உண்மை சொல்பவர்களாக இருந்தால், (இறந்து போன) எங்களுடைய மூதாதைகளை (உயிர்ப்பித்துக்) கொண்டு வாருங்கள்" என்று கூறுவதைத் தவிர, (வேறு) பதில் கூற அவர்களுக்கு முடிவதில்லை.

அவர்களிடம் தெளிவான நம் வசனங்கள் ஓதிக்காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால், அவர்களுடைய வாதமெல்லாம், “நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால் எங்களுடைய மூதாதையரை (எழுப்பிக்) கொண்டு வாருங்கள்” என்பது தவிர வேறில்லை.

மேலும், அவர்களுக்கு நம்முடைய தெளிவான வசனங்கள் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால், அவர்களின் வாதம் “நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால் எங்களுடைய மூதாதையரை (உயிர்ப்ப்பித்து)க் கொண்டுவாருங்கள்” என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவதைத் தவிர (வேறெதுவும்) இல்லை.

When Our clear verses are recited to them, their only argument is to say: “Bring our forefathers back, if you are truthful.”

Quli Allahu yuhyeekum thumma yumeetukum thumma yajmaAAukum ila yawmi alqiyamati la rayba feehi walakinna akthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona

Say (to them): "Allâh gives you life, then causes you to die, then He will assemble you on the Day of Resurrection about which there is no doubt. But most of mankind know not."

Say, "Allah causes you to live, then causes you to die; then He will assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt, but most of the people do not know."

(நபியே!) நீங்கள் அவர்களை நோக்கி கூறுங்கள்: "அல்லாஹ்தான் உங்களை உயிர்ப்பித்தான்; (நானல்ல.) அவனே உங்களை மரணிக்கச் செய்வான். பின்னர், மறுமை நாளில் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) உங்களை ஒன்று சேர்ப்பான். இதில் யாதொரு சந்தேகமும் இல்லை. ஆயினும், மனிதர்களில் பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் இதனை உறுதி கொள்வதில்லை."

“அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு உயிர் கொடுக்கிறான்; பின்னர் அவனே உங்களை மரணம் அடையச் செய்கிறான்; பின்னர் கியாம நாளன்று அவன் உங்களை ஒன்று சேர்ப்பான் - இதில் சந்தேகமேயில்லை” எனினும் மனிதரில் பெரும்பாலோர் (இதை) அறியமாட்டார்கள் என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.  

(நபியே!) நீர் (அவர்களிடம்) கூறுவீராக: ”அல்லாஹ்(தான்) உங்களை உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறான், பின்னர், உங்களை அவன் மரணிக்கச்செய்கிறான், பின்னர், மறுமை நாளுக்காக_(உயிர் கொடுத்து) உங்களை அவன் ஒன்று சேர்ப்பான்,_இதில் சந்தேகமில்லை, எனினும் மனிதர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் (இதனை) அறியமாட்டார்கள்.

Say, “It is Allah Who gives you life then causes you to die, then He will gather you on the Day of Resurrection about which there is no doubt, but most people do not know.”

Walillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi wayawma taqoomu alssaAAatu yawmaithin yakhsaru almubtiloona

And to Allâh belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And on the Day that the Hour will be established – on that Day the followers of falsehood (polytheists, disbelievers, worshippers of false deities) shall lose (everything).

And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And the Day the Hour appears - that Day the falsifiers will lose.

வானங்கள், பூமியின் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்குரியதே. விசாரணை நாள் வரும் அன்று (நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப்) பொய்யாக்கியவர்கள் நஷ்டத்திற்கு உள்ளாகி இருப்பார்கள்.

அன்றியும், வானங்களுடையவும், பூமியுடையவும் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது; மேலும், இறுதித் தீர்ப்புக்கான வேளை வந்து வாய்க்கும் நாளில், பொய்யர்கள் நஷ்டமடைவார்கள்.

அன்றியும் வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியின் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது, மறுமை நாள் நிலைபெறும் நாளில் பொய்யாக்குவோர் அந்நாளில் நஷ்டமடைவார்கள்.

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and earth. On the day when the Hour will take place, the people of falsehood will be in total loss.

Watara kulla ommatin jathiyatan kullu ommatin tudAAa ila kitabiha alyawma tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona

And you will see each nation humbled to their knees (kneeling), each nation will be called to its Record (of deeds). This Day you shall be recompensed for what you used to do.

And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.

(நபியே! அந்நாளில்) ஒவ்வொரு வகுப்பாரும், முழந்தாளிட்டிருக்கக் காண்பீர்கள். ஒவ்வொரு வகுப்பாரும் (விசாரணைக்காக) அவர்களுடைய (பதிவுப்) புத்தகத்தை நோக்கி அழைக்கப்படுவார்கள். (அவர்களை நோக்கி) "இன்றைய தினம் நீங்கள் உங்கள் செயலுக்குரிய கூலியை கொடுக்கப் பெறுவீர்கள்" (என்றும்),

(அன்று) ஒவ்வொரு சமுதாயத்தையும் முழந்தாளிட்டிருக்க (நபியே!) நீர் காண்பீர்; ஒவ்வொரு சமுதாயமும் அதனதன் (பதிவு) புத்தகத்தின் பக்கம் அழைக்கப்படும்; அன்று, நீங்கள் (உலகில்) செய்திருந்ததற்குரிய கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவீர்கள்.

(நபியே! அந்நாளில்) ஒவ்வொரு சமுதாயத்தையும் முழந்தாளிட்டிருக்கும் நிலையில் நீர் காண்பீர். ஒவ்வொரு சமுதாயமும் (விசாரணைக்காக) அதனதன் பதிவுப் புத்தகத்தின்பால் அழைக்கப்படும்_”இன்றையத்தினம் நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவற்றிற்குக் கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவீர்கள்” (என்றும்).

You will see every community on its knees. Every community will be summoned to its book [of deeds], “Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.

Hatha kitabuna yantiqu AAalaykum bialhaqqi inna kunna nastansikhu ma kuntum taAAmaloona

This Our Record speaks about you with truth. Verily, We were recording what you used to do (i.e. Our angels used to record your deeds).

This, Our record, speaks about you in truth. Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do."

"இது (உங்கள் செயலைப் பற்றிய) நம்முடைய (பதிவுப்) புத்தகம். இது உங்களைப் பற்றிய உண்மையையே கூறும். நிச்சயமாக நாம், நீங்கள் செய்தவற்றையெல்லாம் எழுதி வைத்திருக்கின்றோம்" (என்றும் கூறப்படும்).

“இது உங்களைப்பற்றிய உண்மையைக் கூறும் நம்முடைய புத்தகம்; நிச்சயமாக நாம் நீங்கள் செய்து வந்ததைப் பதிவு செய்து கொண்டிருந்தோம்” (என்று கூறப்படும்).

“இது உங்களைப் பற்றிய உண்மையைக் கூறும் நம்முடைய (பதிவுப்) புத்தகம், நிச்சயமாக நாம், நீங்கள் செய்துகொண்டிருந்தவற்றை (அதில்) பதிவு செய்பவர்களாக இருந்தோம்” (என்றும் கூறப்படும்).

This is Our Record that tells the truth about you, for We used to record all what you used to do.”

Faamma allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati fayudkhiluhum rabbuhum fee rahmatihi thalika huwa alfawzu almubeenu

Then, as for those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy. That will be the evident success.

So as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is what is the clear attainment.

எவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு நற்செயல்களைச் செய்தார்களோ அவர்களை, அவர்களுடைய இறைவன் தன்னுடைய அருளில் புகுத்துவான். இதுதான் மிகத் தெளிவான வெற்றியாகும்.

ஆகவே, எவர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டு நல்லமல்கள் செய்து வந்தார்களோ, அவர்களை அவர்களுடைய இறைவன் தன் ரஹ்மத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்வான்; அதுவே தெளிவான வெற்றியாகும்.

ஆகவே, விசுவாசங்கொண்டு நற்கருமங்களையும் செய்தார்களே அத்தகையோர்_ அவர்களை, அவர்களுடைய இரட்சகன் தன்னுடைய அருளில் நுழைவிக்கிறான், அதுதான் தெளிவான வெற்றியாகும்.

As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is indeed the clear triumph.

Waamma allatheena kafaroo afalam takun ayatee tutla AAalaykum faistakbartum wakuntum qawman mujrimeena

But as for those who disbelieved (it will be said to them): "Were not Our Verses recited to you? But you were proud, and you were a people who were Mujrimûn (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals)."

But as for those who disbelieved, [it will be said], "Were not Our verses recited to you, but you were arrogant and became a people of criminals?

எவர்கள் (நம்முடைய வசனங்களை) நிராகரித்தார்களோ (அவர்களை நோக்கி) உங்களுக்கு நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கப்படவில்லையா? அச்சமயம் நீங்கள் பெருமைகொண்டு (அதனைப் புறக்கணித்து) விட்டீர்கள். அதனால் நீங்கள் குற்றவாளிகளாகி விட்டீர்கள்" (என்றும் கூறப்படும்).

ஆனால், நிராகரித்தவர்களிடம்: “உங்களுக்கு என் வசனங்கள் ஓதிக்காண்பிக்கப்பட்டுக் கொண்டு இருக்கவில்லையா? அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டு குற்றவாளிகளாக இருந்தீர்கள்” (என்று சொல்லப்படும்).

இன்னும், நிராகரித்தார்களே அத்தகையோர்_ (அவர்களிடம்,) “உங்களுக்கு என்னுடைய வசனங்கள் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கவில்லையா? பின்னர் நீங்கள் பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள், அன்றியும், நீங்கள் குற்றவாளிகளான சமூகத்தாராகவும் இருந்தீர்கள்” (என்றும் கூறப்படும்).

But those who disbelieved [will be asked], “When My verses were recited to you, did you not show arrogance and were a wicked people?

Waitha qeela inna waAAda Allahi haqqun waalssaAAatu la rayba feeha qultum ma nadree ma alssaAAatu in nathunnu illa thannan wama nahnu bimustayqineena

And when it was said: "Verily, Allâh's Promise is the truth, and there is no doubt about the coming of the Hour," you said: "We know not what is the Hour, we do not think it but as a conjecture, and we have no firm convincing belief (therein)."

And when it was said, 'Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth and the Hour [is coming] - no doubt about it,' you said, 'We know not what is the Hour. We assume only assumption, and we are not convinced.' "

அன்றி, "நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வாக்குறுதி உண்மையானது. மறுமை வருவதில் யாதொரு சந்தேகமுமில்லை" என்று (உங்களுக்குக்) கூறப்பட்டால் அதற்கு, "மறுமை இன்னதென்றே நாங்கள் அறியோம். அது (வீணான) வெறும் எண்ணத்தைத் தவிர வேறில்லை என்றே எண்ணுகிறோம். அதனை (மெய்யென்று) நாங்கள் நம்பவுமில்லை" என்று நீங்கள் கூறினீர்கள் (அல்லவா?) என்று (அவர்களிடம்) கேட்கப்படும்.

மேலும் “நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் வாக்குறுதி உண்மையானது; மறுமை நாள் அது பற்றியும் சந்தேகமில்லை” என்று கூறப்பட்ட போது; “(மறுமை) நாள் என்ன என்று நாங்கள் அறியோம்; அது ஒரு வெறும் கற்பனை என்றே நாங்கள் கருதுகிறோம். எனவே (அதை) நாங்கள் உறுதியென நம்புபவர்களல்லர்” என்று நீங்கள் கூறினீர்கள்.

மேலும், “நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வாக்குறுதி உண்மையானது, மறுமைநாள்_அ(து வருமென்ப)தில் யாதொரு சந்தேகமுமில்லை” என்று கூறப்பட்டால், “மறுமைநாள் இன்னதென்றே நாங்கள் அறியோம், அது வெறும் எண்ணத்தைத் தவிர (வேறு) இல்லை என்றே எண்ணுகிறோம், (அதனை உண்மையென்று) நாங்கள் உறுதியாக நம்புகிறவர்களாகவும் இல்லை என்று நீங்கள் கூறினீர்கள் (அல்லவா?” என்று அவர்களிடம் கேட்கப்படும்.)

Whenever it was said, ‘Allah’s promise is certainly true and there is no doubt about the Hour,’ you said, ‘We do not know what the Hour is; We think it is just an assumption, and we are not convinced.’”

Wabada lahum sayyiatu ma AAamiloo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona

And the evil of what they did will appear to them, and that which they used to mock at will completely encircle them.

And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த தீய செயல்கள் அனைத்தும், அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்பட்டுவிடும். அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவைகளே அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்துகொள்ளும்.

அவர்கள் செய்த தீமையெல்லாம் (அந்நாளில்) அவர்களுக்கு வெளியாகும்; எதை அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ, அதுவே அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும்.

மேலும், அவர்கள் செய்துகொண்டிருந்த தீயவைகள் (யாவும்) அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்பட்டுவிடும், எதை அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ, அது அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்துகொள்ளும்.

The evil consequences of their deeds will become apparent to them, and they will be overwhelmed by what they used to ridicule.

Waqeela alyawma nansakum kama naseetum liqaa yawmikum hatha wamawakumu alnnaru wama lakum min nasireena

And it will be said: "This Day We will forget you as you forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours. And your abode is the Fire, and there is none to help you."

And it will be said, "Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours, and your refuge is the Fire, and for you there are no helpers.

அன்றி, (அவர்களை நோக்கி) "இந்நாளை நீங்கள் சந்திப்பதை மறந்தவாறே, நாமும் இன்றைய தினம் உங்களை மறந்துவிட்டோம். நீங்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகம்தான். (இன்றைய தினம்) உங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்பவர்கள் யாருமில்லை" என்றும் கூறப்படும்.

இன்னும், “நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய இந்நாளின் சந்திப்பை மறந்து விட்டது போன்றே, இன்றைய தினம் நாம் உங்களை மறக்கிறோம்; அன்றியும் நீங்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகம் தான்; மேலும், உங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்பவர் எவருமில்லை” என்று (அவர்களுக்குக்) கூறப்படும்.

அன்றியும் (அவர்களிடம்) “நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய இந்நாளின் சந்திப்பை மறந்தவாறே நாமும் இன்றையத் தினம் உங்களை மறந்துவிட்டோம், மேலும், உங்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகமாகும், உங்களுக்கு எந்த உதவியாளர்களுமில்லை” என்றும் கூறப்படும்.

It will be said, “Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours. Your abode will be the Fire, and you will have no helpers.

Thalikum biannakumu ittakhathtum ayati Allahi huzuwan wagharratkumu alhayatu alddunya faalyawma la yukhrajoona minha wala hum yustaAAtaboona

This, because you took the Revelations of Allâh (this Qur'ân) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be returned to the worldly life (so that they repent to Allâh, and beg His Pardon for their sins).

That is because you took the verses of Allah in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you." So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah].

இதன் காரணமாவது: நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களைப் பரிகாசமாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டீர்கள். இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கை உங்களை மயக்கிவிட்டது (என்றும் கூறப்படும்). இன்றைய தினம் அதிலிருந்து அவர்கள் வெளிச்செல்ல விடப்படமாட்டார்கள். அன்றி, அவர்களுடைய மன்னிப்புக்கோரலும் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட மாட்டாது.

நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களை ஏளனமாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டதனாலும் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கை உங்களை மயக்கி ஏமாற்றி விட்டதினாலுமே இந்த நிலை. இன்றைய தினத்தில் அதிலிருந்து அவர்கள் வெளியேற்றப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்; மன்னிப்பளிக்கப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

“இ(ந்தத் தண்டனையான)து நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களைப் பரிகாசமாக எடுத்துக்கொண்டீர்கள் என்பதினாலாகும், இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கை உங்களை மயக்கியும்விட்டது” (என்று கூறப்படும்), இன்றையத் தினம் அதிலிருந்து அவர்கள் வெளியேற்றப்படமாட்டார்கள், மேலும், (அந்நாளில் நற்செயல்கள் செய்து இரட்சகனைத்) திருப்திப்படுத்த அவர்கள் தேடப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

That is because you took Allah’s verses in ridicule, and were deluded by the life of this world.” So Today they will not be taken out of it, nor will they be asked to make amends.

Falillahi alhamdu rabbi alssamawati warabbi alardi rabbi alAAalameena

So all praise and thanks are Allâh's, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, and the Lord of the 'آlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

Then, to Allah belongs [all] praise - Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds.

வானங்களின் இறைவனும், பூமியின் இறைவனும், இன்னும் அகிலத்தார் அனைவரின் இறைவனுமாகிய அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே எல்லாப் புகழும் உரித்தாகும்.

ஆகவே வானங்களுக்கும் இறைவனான - பூமிக்கும் இறைவனான - அகிலத்தாருக்கெல்லாம் இறைவனான அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே எல்லாப் புகழும்.

ஆகவே, வானங்களில் இரட்சகனும், பூமியின் இரட்சகனும் அகிலத்தாரின் இரட்சகனுமாகிய அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே எல்லாப் புகழும் உரித்தாகும்.

So all praise is for Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the worlds.

Walahu alkibriyao fee alssamawati waalardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu

And His (Alone) is the Majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

And to Him belongs [all] grandeur within the heavens and the earth, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் உள்ள எல்லா பெருமைகளும் அவனுக்கே சொந்தமானவை. அவன் (அனைவரையும்) மிகைத்த வனும் ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

இன்னும், வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலுமுள்ள பெருமை அவனுக்கே உரியது; மேலும், அவன் தான் (யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவன், ஞானம் மிக்கோன்.

வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் (உள்ள) பெருமை அவனுக்கே உரியது, அவனே (யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவன், தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவன்.

To Him belongs all supremacy in the heavens and earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
