Tanzeelu alkitabi mina Allahi alAAazeezi alhakeemi

The revelation of this Book (the Qur'ân) is from Allâh, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

The revelation of the Qur'an is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

அல்லாஹ்வினால்தான் இவ்வேதம் இறக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவன் (அனைவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனும் (அனைவரையும் அறிந்த) ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

(யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனும், ஞானம் மிக்கவனுமாகிய அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்தே இவ்வேதம் இறங்கியருளப் பெற்றுள்ளது.

(யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனான, தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவனான அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து இவ்வேதம் இறக்கிவைக்கபட்டுள்ளதாகும்.

The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Inna anzalna ilayka alkitaba bialhaqqi faoAAbudi Allaha mukhlisan lahu alddeena

Verily, We have sent down the Book to you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) in truth. So, worship Allâh (Alone) by doing religious deeds sincerely for Allâh's sake only.

Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book, [O Muhammad], in truth. So worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நாம், உங்களளவில் இவ்வேதத்தை முற்றிலும் உண்மையைக் கொண்டு இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றோம். ஆகவே, முற்றிலும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு வழிப்பட்டு, பரிசுத்த மனதுடன் அவனை வணங்கி வாருங்கள்.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நாம் உமக்கு உண்மையைக் கொண்டு இவ்வேதத்தை இறக்கியருளினோம், ஆகவே, மார்க்கத்திற்கு அந்தரங்க சுத்தியுடையவராக நீர் அல்லாஹ்வை வணங்குவீராக.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நாமே உண்மையைக் கொண்டு இவ்வேதத்தை உமக்கு இறக்கிவைத்திருக்கின்றோம், ஆகவே, நீர் முற்றிலும் மார்க்கத்தை (வணக்கத்தை) அவனுக்கே கலப்பற்றதாக ஆக்கியவராக அல்லாஹ்வை வணங்குவீராக!

Indeed, We have sent down to you [O Prophet] the Book with the truth, so worship Allah with sincere devotion to Him.

Ala lillahi alddeenu alkhalisu waallatheena ittakhathoo min doonihi awliyaa ma naAAbuduhum illa liyuqarriboona ila Allahi zulfa inna Allaha yahkumu baynahum fee ma hum feehi yakhtalifoona inna Allaha la yahdee man huwa kathibun kaffarun

Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allâh only. And those who take Auliyâ' (protectors, helpers, lords, gods) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allâh." Verily, Allâh will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allâh guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever.

Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever.

பரிசுத்தமான வழிபாடு அல்லாஹ் ஒருவனுக்கே சொந்தமானது என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள். எவர்கள் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவைகளை, தங்களுக்குப் பாதுகாவலாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள், "அத்தெய்வங்கள் எங்களை அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு மிக்க சமீபமாக்கி வைக்கும் என்பதற்காகவேயன்றி நாம் இவைகளை வணங்கவில்லை" (என்று கூறுகின்றனர்). அவர்கள் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் இவ்விஷயத்தைப் பற்றி, அல்லாஹ் (மறுமையில்) அவர்களுக்கிடையில் தீர்ப்பளிப்பான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (இத்தகைய) பொய்யர்களையும், (மனமுரண்டாக) நிராகரிப்பவர்களையும் நேரான வழியில் செலுத்துவதில்லை.

அறிந்து கொள்வீராக! களங்கமற்ற மார்க்க (வழிபாடு யாவு)ம் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது; இன்னும், அவனையன்றிப் பாதுகாப்பாளர்களை எடுத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்கள், “அவர்கள் எங்களை அல்லாஹ்வின் அருகே சமீபமாகக் கொண்டு செல்வார்கள் என்பதற்காகவேயன்றி நாங்கள் அவர்களை வணங்கவில்லை” (என்கின்றனர்). அவர்கள் எதில் வேறுபட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ அதைப்பற்றி நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கிடையே தீர்ப்பளிப்பான்; பொய்யனாக நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பவனை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்த மாட்டான்.

தூய மார்க்கம் (வழிபாடு) அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரித்தானது என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வீராக! இன்னும், அவனையன்றி (மற்றவர்களைப்) பாதுகாவலர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களே அத்தகையவர்கள், “எங்களை அவர்கள் நெருக்கத்தால் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு சமீபமாக்கி வைப்பார்கள் என்பதற்காகவேயன்றி அவர்களை நாங்கள் வணங்கவில்லை” (என்று கூறுகின்றனர்), எதில் அவர்கள் வேறுபட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ அது பற்றி, நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (மறுமையில்) அவர்களுக்கிடையில் தீர்ப்பளிப்பான், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் எவன் (உண்மையை) மிக்க மறுக்கிறவனாக, பொய்யனாக இருக்கிறானோ அவனை நேர் வழியில் செலுத்தமாட்டான்.

Indeed, sincere devotion is due to Allah alone. As for those who take others as guardians besides Him, [saying], “We only worship them so that they may bring us closer to Allah.” Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Allah does not guide anyone who is a liar and persistent disbeliever.

Law arada Allahu an yattakhitha waladan laistafa mimma yakhluqu ma yashao subhanahu huwa Allahu alwahidu alqahharu

Had Allâh willed to take a son (or offspring), He could have chosen whom He willed out of those whom He created. But Glorified is He! (He is above such things.) He is Allâh, the One, the Irresistible.

If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah, the One, the Prevailing.

அல்லாஹ் சந்ததி எடுத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டுமென்று விரும்பி இருந்தால், அவன் படைத்தவைகளில் அவன் விரும்பிய (மேலான)வைகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பான். (எனினும், இத்தகைய விஷயங்களிலிருந்து) அவன் மிக பரிசுத்தமானவன். அல்லாஹ் ஒரே ஒருவன்தான். (அவனுக்குச் சந்ததி இல்லை. அனைவரையும்) அவன் அடக்கி ஆளுகிறான்.

அல்லாஹ் (தனக்கு) ஒரு பிள்ளையை எடுத்துக் கொள்ள நாடியிருந்தால், அவன் படைத்துள்ளவர்களிலிருந்து தான் விரும்பியவரைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பான்; (எனினும் இத்தகையவற்றிலிருந்து) அவன் பரிசுத்தமானவன். அவனே (யாவரையும்) அடக்கியாளும் வல்லமை மிக்கவனாகிய ஏகனான அல்லாஹ்.

அல்லாஹ் (தனக்கொரு) பிள்ளையை எடுத்துகொள்ள வேண்டுமென்று நாடியிருந்தால், அவன் படைத்தவற்றிலிருந்து அவன் நாடியதைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துகொண்டிருப்பான், அவன் மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானவன், அவனே (யாவரையும்) அடக்கி ஆளுகின்ற (வல்லமை மிக்க)வனாகிய, தனித்தவனாகிய அல்லாஹ்.

If Allah had willed to take for Himself a son, He could have chosen whatever He wished from among what He creates. Glory be to Him. He is Allah, the One, the Subjugator.

Khalaqa alssamawati waalarda bialhaqqi yukawwiru allayla AAala alnnahari wayukawwiru alnnahara AAala allayli wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullun yajree liajalin musamman ala huwa alAAazeezu alghaffaru

He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. He makes the night to go in the day and makes the day to go in the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.

He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.

அவன், வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் உண்மையான காரணத்திற்கே படைத்திருக்கின்றான். (வீணுக்காக அல்ல.) அவனே இரவைச் சுருட்டிப் பகலை (விரிக்கிறான்.) அவனே பகலைச் சுருட்டி இரவை (விரிக்கிறான்.) சூரியனையும், சந்திரனையும் அடக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றான். இவை ஒவ்வொன்றும், அவைகளுக்குக் (குறிப்பிட்ட எல்லைக்குள்) குறிப்பிட்ட காலப்படி நடக்கின்றன. (நபியே! நீங்கள்) அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்! நிச்சயமாக அவன் அனைவரையும் மிகைத்தவனும் மிக மன்னிப்பவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

அவன் வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் உண்மையைக் கொண்டு படைத்திருக்கிறான்; அவனே பகலின் மீது இரவைச் சுற்றுகிறான்; இன்னும் இரவின் மீது பகலைச் சுற்றுகிறான்; சூரியனையும் சந்திரனையும் (தன் ஆதிக்கத்திற்குள்) வசப்படுத்தினான், இவை ஒவ்வொன்றும் குறிப்பிட்ட தவணைப் பிரகாரம் நடக்கின்றது; (நபியே!) அறிந்து கொள்வீராக! அவன் (யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவன்; மிக மன்னிப்பவன்.

அவன் வானங்களை மற்றும் பூமியை உண்மையைக் கொண்டு படைத்திருக்கின்றான், அவன் இரவைப் பகலின் மீது மூடிக்கொள்ளச் செய்கின்றான், இன்னும், பகலை இரவின் மீது மூடிக்கொள்ள செய்கின்றான், சூரியனையும், சந்திரனையும் (தன் ஆதிக்கத்தில்) அவன் வசப்படுத்தியும் வைத்திருக்கின்றான், (இவை) ஒவ்வொன்றும், (குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட எல்லைக்குள்) குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட தவணை வரை நடக்கின்றது, அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், அவனே (யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவன், மிகுதியாக மன்னிக்கிறவன்.

He created the heavens and earth for a true purpose. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night. He has subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for an appointed term. Indeed, He is the All-Mighty, Most Forgiving.

Khalaqakum min nafsin wahidatin thumma jaAAala minha zawjaha waanzala lakum mina alanAAami thamaniyata azwajin yakhluqukum fee butooni ommahatikum khalqan min baAAdi khalqin fee thulumatin thalathin thalikumu Allahu rabbukum lahu almulku la ilaha illa huwa faanna tusrafoona

He created you (all) from a single person (Adam); then made from him his wife [Hawwâ' (Eve)]. And He has sent down for you of cattle eight pairs (of the sheep, two, male and female; of the goats, two, male and female; of the oxen, two, male and female; and of the camels, two, male and female). He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation in three veils of darkness. Such is Allâh your Lord. His is the kingdom. Lâ ilâha illâ Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turned away?

He created you from one soul. Then He made from it its mate, and He produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs dominion. There is no deity except Him, so how are you averted?

அவன் உங்கள் அனைவரையும், ஆரம்பத்தில் ஒரே மனிதரிலிருந்து படைத்தான். பின்னர், அவரிலிருந்து அவருடைய மனைவியை அமைத்தான். (அந்த இருவரிலிருந்து, உங்களை ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாகப் படைத்திருக்கின்றான்.) அன்றி, (உங்களுடைய நன்மைக்காகவே) எட்டு வகை கால்நடைகளை (ஜோடி ஜோடியாகப்) படைத்திருக்கின்றான். உங்கள் தாய்மார்களின் வயிற்றில், ஒன்றன்பின் ஒன்றாக மூன்று இருள்களுக்குள் வைத்து உங்களை படைக்கின்றான். இந்த அல்லாஹ்வே உங்கள் இறைவன். எல்லா ஆட்சிகளும் அவனுக்கு உரியனவே. அவனைத் தவிர வணக்கத்திற்குரிய வேறு இறைவன் இல்லை. ஆகவே, (அவனை விட்டு) நீங்கள் எங்கு திருப்பப்படுகின்றீர்கள்?

அவன் உங்களை ஒரே மனிதரிலிருந்து படைத்தான்; பிறகு, அவரிலிருந்து அவருடைய மனைவியை ஆக்கினான்; அவன் உங்களுக்காக கால் நடைகளிலிருந்து எட்டு (வகைகளை) ஜோடி ஜோடியாக படைத்தான்! உங்கள் தாய்மார்களின் வயிறுகளில், ஒன்றன் பின் ஒன்றாக மூன்று இருள்களுக்குள் வைத்து உங்களை படைக்கிறான்; அவனே அல்லாஹ்; உங்களுடைய இறைவன்; அவனுக்கே ஆட்சியதிகாரம் (முழுவதும் உரித்தாகும்), அவனைத் தவிர வேறு நாயன் இல்லை. அவ்வாறிருக்க, (அவனை விட்டும்) நீஙகள் எப்படி திருப்பப்படுகிறீர்கள்,

(ஆரம்பத்தில்) ஒரே ஆத்மாவிலிருந்து அவன் உங்களைப் படைத்தான், பின்னர், அதிலிருந்து அதனுடைய மனைவியை ஆக்கினான், இன்னும், கால்நடைகளில் எட்டு(வகை)ஜோடிகளை இறக்கி (அருளி)யிருக்கின்றான், உங்கள் தாய்மார்களின் வயிறுகளில், ஒரு படைப்புக்குப்பின், மற்றொரு படைப்பாக மூன்று இருள்களில் (அவைகளுக்கிடையில்) உங்களைப் படைக்கின்றான், அவன்தான் உங்களுடைய இரட்சகனாகிய அல்லாஹ், ஆட்சி அவனுக்கே உரியது, அவனைத் தவிர (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய வேறு) நாயன் இல்லை. ஆகவே, (அவனுக்கு வணக்கம் செலுத்துவதைவிட்டும்) நீங்கள் எவ்வாறு (மற்றவற்றை வணங்கத்) திருப்பப்படுகிறீர்கள்?

He created you from a single soul, then He made from it its mate, and He created for you eight pairs of livestock. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers [in stages], creation after creation, in three layers of darkness. Such is Allah, your Lord. To Him belongs the dominion; none has the right to be worshiped except Him. So how are you averted?

In takfuroo fainna Allaha ghaniyyun AAankum wala yarda liAAibadihi alkufra wain tashkuroo yardahu lakum wala taziru waziratun wizra okhra thumma ila rabbikum marjiAAukum fayunabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

If you disbelieve, then verily, Allâh is not in need of you; He likes not disbelief for His slaves. And if you are grateful (by being believers), He is pleased therewith for you. No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you what you used to do. Verily, He is All-Knower of that which is in (men's) breasts.

If you disbelieve - indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

அவனை நீங்கள் நிராகரித்துவிட்டபோதிலும் (அவனுக்கு நஷ்டமில்லை. ஏனென்றால்,) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களுடைய தேவையற்றவனாக இருக்கின்றான். எனினும், தன் அடியார்கள் (தன்னை) நிராகரிப்பதை அவன் விரும்புவதே இல்லை. நீங்கள் (அவனுக்கு) நன்றி செலுத்துவீர்களாயின், உங்களைப் பற்றி அவன் திருப்தியடைவான். ஒருவனின் (பாவச்) சுமையை மற்றொருவன் சுமப்பதில்லை. இனி நீங்கள் செல்ல வேண்டியது உங்கள் இறைவனிடம்தான். அச்சமயம் நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந் தவைகளை அவன் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பான். உள்ளங்களில் உள்ளவைகளையும் நிச்சயமாக அவன் நன்கறிகின்றான்.

(அவனை) நீங்கள் நிராகரித்தாலும் (அவனுக்குக் குறையேதுமில்லை) - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களிடம் தேவையற்றவன்; எனினும் தன் அடியார்களின் (நன்றி மறக்கும்) நிராகரிப்பை - குஃப்ரைக் கொண்டு அவன் திருப்தி கொள்வதில்லை; நீங்கள் நன்றி செலுத்துவீர்களாயின், உங்களைப் பற்றி அவன் திருப்தி கொள்வான். அன்றியும், (தன் பாவச் சுமையைச்) சுமக்கிறவன், மற்றொருவன் (பாவச்) சுமையைச் சுமக்க மாட்டான்; பின்னர் நீங்கள் திரும்பிச் செல்லுதல் உங்களுடைய இறைவனிடமே யாகும்; நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தது பற்றி அப்போது அவன் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பான்; நெஞ்சங்களிலிருப்பதை அவன் நிச்சயமாக நன்கறிபவன்.

(அவனை) நீங்கள் நிராகரித்துவிட்டால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ், உங்களைவிட்டும் தேவையற்றவன், இன்னும், தன் அடியார்களிடத்தில் நிராகரிப்பை அவன் பொருந்திக்கொள்வதில்லை, மேலும், நீங்கள் (அவனுக்கு) நன்றி செலுத்தினால், உங்களுக்காக அதனை அவன் திருப்தியடைவான், (பாவத்தைச் சுமக்கின்ற) எந்த ஆத்மாவும் மற்ற ஆத்மாவின் (பாவச்) சுமையை சுமக்காது, பின்னர், உங்கள் மீளுமிடம் உங்கள் இரட்சகனின் பக்கமேயாகும், அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவற்றை அவன் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பான், நெஞ்சங்களிலுள்ளவற்றை நிச்சயமாக அவன் நன்கறிகிறவன்.

If you disbelieve, then Allah is in no need of you, but He does not approve of disbelief for His slaves. If you are grateful, He approves that for you. No bearer of burden can bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you of what you used to do. He is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts.

Waitha massa alinsana durrun daAAa rabbahu muneeban ilayhi thumma itha khawwalahu niAAmatan minhu nasiya ma kana yadAAoo ilayhi min qablu wajaAAala lillahi andadan liyudilla AAan sabeelihi qul tamattaAA bikufrika qaleelan innaka min ashabi alnnari

And when some hurt touches man, he cries to his Lord (Allâh Alone), turning to Him in repentance. But when He bestows a favour upon him from Himself, he forgets that for which he cried for before, and he sets up rivals to Allâh, in order to mislead others from His path. Say: "Take pleasure in your disbelief for a while, surely, you are (one) of the dwellers of the Fire!"

And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before, and he attributes to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy your disbelief for a little; indeed, you are of the companions of the Fire."

மனிதனுக்கு யாதொரு தீங்கு ஏற்படும் சமயத்தில், முற்றிலும் தன் இறைவனையே நோக்கிப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்த வண்ணமாயிருக்கின்றான். இறைவன் தன்னுடைய யாதொரு அருளை அவனுக்குப் புரியும் சமயத்தில், இதற்கு முன்னர், தான் பிரார்த்தனை செய்து கொண்டிருந்த அவனையே மறந்து, அவனுக்கு (பொய்யான தெய்வங்களை) இணையாக்கி மற்றவர்களையும் அவனுடைய பாதையிலிருந்து வழிகெடுக்கின்றான். (நபியே! அவனை நோக்கி,) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "நீ (இவ்வாறு இறைவனை) நிராகரித்த வண்ணமே சிறிது காலம் சுகமனுபவி. (முடிவில்) நிச்சயமாக நீ நரகவாசிதான்."

இன்னும் மனிதனை ஏதேனும் ஒரு துன்பம் தீண்டுமானால், அவன் தன் இறைவன்பால் திரும்பி அவனை அழை(த்துப் பிரார்த்தி)க்கின்றான்; பின்னர் (இறைவன்) தன்னிடமிருந்து ஓர் அருட்கொடையை அவனுக்கு அளித்தானானால், முன்னர் அவன் எதற்காக அவனை அழைத்து(ப் பிரார்த்தித்து)க் கொண்டிருந்தானோ அதை மறந்து விடுகிறான். அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணைகளை ஏற்படுத்தி (மற்றவர்களை) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையிலிருந்து வழிகெடுக்கிறான். (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக: “உன் குஃப்ரை (நிராகரிப்பை)க் கொண்டு சிறிது காலம் சுகமனுபவி; நிச்சயமாக நீ நரகவாதிகளில் நின்றுமுள்ளவனே.”

மேலும், மனிதனை ஏதேனும் ஒரு சங்கடம் தீண்டுமானால் அவன் தன் இரட்சகனை _ அவன்பால் (தவ்பாச்செய்து) மீண்டவனாக_ அழை(த்துப் பிரார்த்தி)க்கிறான், பின்னர் அவன் தன்னிடமிருந்து (மகத்தான) ஓர் அருட்கொடையை அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தானாகில், இதற்கு முன்னர் அவன் எதற்காகப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தானோ அதனையே அவன் மறந்துவிடுகிறான், இன்னும், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணைகளை அவன் ஆக்குகிறான், (மற்றவர்களை) அவனுடைய பாதையிலிருந்து வழி கெடுப்பதற்காக, (நபியே! அவனுக்கு,) “உன் நிராகரிப்பைக் கொண்டு சிறிது காலம் சுகம் அனுபவித்துக்கொள், (முடிவில்) நிச்சயமாக நீ, நரகவாசிகளில் உள்ளவனாவாய்” என்று நீர் கூறுவீராக!

When adversity befalls man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him in repentance. Then when his Lord bestows His favor upon him, he forgets the adversity for which he was calling upon Him before, and sets up rivals to Allah, to mislead others from His way. Say [O Prophet], “Enjoy your disbelief for a little while; you will be one of the people of the Fire.”

Amman huwa qanitun anaa allayli sajidan waqaiman yahtharu alakhirata wayarjoo rahmata rabbihi qul hal yastawee allatheena yaAAlamoona waallatheena la yaAAlamoona innama yatathakkaru oloo alalbabi

Is one who is obedient to Allâh, prostrating himself or standing (in prayer) during the hours of the night, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Lord (like one who disbelieves)? Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allâh's Signs and Verses).

Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.

எவன் மறுமையை பயந்து, தன் இறைவனின் அருளை எதிர்பார்த்து, இரவு காலங்களில் நின்றவனாகவும், சிரம் பணிந்த வனாகவும் அல்லாஹ்வை வணங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றானோ, (அவன் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளாது நிராகரிப்பவனைப் போலாவானா? நபியே!) நீங்கள் கேளுங்கள்: கல்வி அறிவுடையவனும், கல்வி அறிவில்லாதவனும் சமமாவார்களா? (இந்தக் குர்ஆனைக் கொண்டு) நல்லுபதேசம் பெறுபவர்கள் எல்லாம் (கல்வி) அறிவுடையவர்தாம்.

எவர் மறுமையை அஞ்சி தன் இறைவனுடைய ரஹ்மத்தை ஆதரவு வைத்து இராக்காலங்களில் ஸுஜூது செய்தவராகவும், நிலையில் நின்றவராகவும் வணங்குகிறாரோ அவர் (நிராகரிப்பவரைப் போல்) ஆவாரா? (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்: “அறிந்தோரும், அறியாதோரும் சமமாவார்களா? நிச்சயமாக (இக் குர்ஆனைக் கொண்டு) நல்லுபதேசம் பெறுவோர் அறிவுடையவர்கள் தாம்.”  

(அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணைவைப்பவன் சிறந்தவனா?) அல்லது, எவர், மறுமையைப் பயந்து தன் இரட்சகனின் அருளை ஆதரவுவைத்து, இரவு காலங்களில் சிரம் பணிந்தவராகவும், நின்றவராகவும் (அல்லாஹ்வை) வணங்கிகொண்டிருக்கின்றாரோ அவரா?” அறிந்தோரும், அறியாதோரும் சமமாவார்களா? (இதனைக்கொண்டு) நல்லுபதேசம் பெறுவோரெல்லாம் அறிவுடையோரே “என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

[Is he better] or the one who constantly worships during the night, prostrating and standing, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord? Say, “Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” It is only the people of understanding who will take heed.

Qul ya AAibadi allatheena amanoo ittaqoo rabbakum lillatheena ahsanoo fee hathihi alddunya hasanatun waardu Allahi wasiAAatun innama yuwaffa alssabiroona ajrahum bighayri hisabin

Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "O My slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism), be afraid of your Lord (Allâh) and keep your duty to Him. Good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world, and Allâh's earth is spacious (so if you cannot worship Allâh at a place, then go to another)! Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning."

Say, "O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account."

(நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட (என்) அடியார்களே! உங்கள் இறைவனுக்கு நீங்கள் பயந்து கொள்ளுங்கள். இம்மையில் நன்மை செய்தவர்களுக்கு (மறுமையில்) நன்மைதான் கிடைக்கும். அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பூமி மிக விசாலமானது. நிச்சயமாக பொறுமையாளர்களுக்கு அவர்களுடைய கூலி கணக்கின்றியே (அதிகமாக) கொடுக்கப்படும்.

(நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்: “ஈமான் கொண்ட நல்லடியார்களே! உங்களுடைய இறைவனுக்கு பயபக்தியாக இருங்கள்; இவ்வுலகில் அழகாய் நன்மை செய்தோருக்கு அழகிய நன்மையே கிடைக்கும் - அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பூமி விசாலமானது; பொறுமையுள்ளவர்கள் தங்கள் கூலியை நிச்சயமாகக் கணக்கின்றிப் பெறுவார்கள்.”

“விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரான என்னுடைய (நல்) அடியார்களே! உங்கள் இரட்சகனை நீங்கள் பயந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், இவ்வுலகத்தில் நன்மை செய்தோருக்கு நன்மையுண்டு, இன்னும், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பூமி விசாலமானது, பொறுமையாளர்கள், தங்களுடைய கூலியை நிறைவு செய்யப்படுதெல்லாம் கணக்கின்றியேதான்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

Say, “O My slaves who believe, fear your Lord. Those who do good in this world will have a good return, and Allah’s earth is spacious. Those who observe patience will be given their reward without measure.”

Qul innee omirtu an aAAbuda Allaha mukhlisan lahu alddeena

Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "Verily, I am commanded to worship Allâh (Alone) by obeying Him and doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only.

Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.

(நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "முற்றிலும் நான் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே வழிப்பட்டு, வணக்கத்தை அவனுக்கே கலப்பற்றதாக ஆக்கி அவன் ஒருவனையே வணங்குமாறு ஏவப்பட்டுள்ளேன்.

(நபியே! இன்னும்) “மார்க்கத்திற்கு அந்தரங்க சுத்தியுடன் அல்லாஹ்வை வணங்குமாறு நிச்சயமாக நான் ஏவப்பட்டிருக்கின்றேன்” என்றும் கூறுவீராக.

“மார்க்கத்தை(_வணக்கத்தை) அவனுக்கே கலப்பற்றதாக, ஆக்கியவனாக அல்லாஹ்வையே நான் வணங்குமாறு நிச்சயமாக நான் ஏவப் பட்டுள்ளேன்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

Say, “I have been commanded to worship Allah, with sincere devotion to Him,

Waomirtu lian akoona awwala almuslimeena

"And I am commanded (this) in order that I may be the first of those who submit themselves to Allâh (in Islâm) as Muslims."

And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims."

அன்றி, அவனுக்கு வழிப்பட்டவர்களில் முதன்மையான வனாக இருக்குமாறும் ஏவப்பட்டுள்ளேன்" (என்றும் கூறுங்கள்).

“அன்றியும் (அவனுக்கு முற்றிலும் வழிப்பட்டவர்களில்) முஸ்லிம்களில் முதலாவதாக இருக்குமாறும் நான் ஏவப்பட்டுள்ளேன்” (என்றும் நீர் கூறுவீராக).

இன்னும், (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) முற்றிலும் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடப்போரில் முதன்மையானவனாக நான் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்றும் ஏவப்பட்டுள்ளேன்” (என்றும் நபியே! நீர் கூறுவீராக!)

and I have been commanded to be the first of those who submit to Allah.”

Qul innee akhafu in AAasaytu rabbee AAathaba yawmin AAatheemin

Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "Verily, if I disobey my Lord, I am afraid of the torment of a great Day."

Say, "Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."

பின்னும் கூறுங்கள்: "என் இறைவனுக்கு நான் மாறு செய்தால், மகத்தான ஒருநாளின் வேதனைக்கு நிச்சயமாக நான் பயப்படுகின்றேன்" (என்றும்),

“என்னுடைய இறைவனுக்கு நான் மாறு செய்வேனாயின், மகத்தான ஒரு நாளின் வேதனைக்கு நான் நிச்சயமாக அஞ்சுகிறேன்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.

“என் இரட்சகனுக்கு நான் மாறு செய்தால், மிக மகத்தான நாளின் வேதனைக்கு நிச்சயமாக நான் பயப்படுகிறேன்” என்று(ம்) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

Say, “I truly fear, if I were to disobey my Lord, the punishment of a momentous Day.”

Quli Allaha aAAbudu mukhlisan lahu deenee

Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "Allâh Alone I worship by doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only (and not to show off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship)."

Say, "Allah [alone] do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion,

"அல்லாஹ் ஒருவனையே கலப்பற்ற மனதுடன் நான் வணங்குவேன், அவனுக்கே என்னுடைய வணக்கம் அனைத்தும் உரித்தானது என்று" (நபியே) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்.

இன்னும் கூறுவீராக: “என் மார்க்கத்தில் அந்தரங்க சுத்தியாக அல்லாஹ்வையே நான் வணங்குகிறேன்.

“முற்றிலும் என் மார்க்கத்தை (வணக்கத்தை) அவனுக்கே கலப்பற்றதாக ஆக்கியவனாக நான் அல்லாஹ்வையே வணங்குகிறேன்” என்று(ம்) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

Say, “It is Allah alone Whom I worship, with sincere devotion to Him.

FaoAAbudoo ma shitum min doonihi qul inna alkhasireena allatheena khasiroo anfusahum waahleehim yawma alqiyamati ala thalika huwa alkhusranu almubeenu

So, worship what you like besides Him. Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, that will be a manifest loss!"

So worship what you will besides Him." Say, "Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss."

"அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி நீங்கள் விரும்பியவர்களை வணங்கிக் கொண்டிருங்கள்." (அதற்குரிய தண்டனையை அடைவீர்கள். நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "மெய்யாகவே நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்கள் யாரென்றால், (இறைவனுக்கு மாறுசெய்து) தங்களுக்கும் தங்கள் குடும்பத்திற்கும் மறுமையில் நஷ்டத்தை உண்டு பண்ணிக் கொண்டவர்கள்தாம்." இது தெளிவான நஷ்டமல்லவா?

“ஆனால், நீங்கள் அவனையன்றி, நீங்கள் விரும்பியவர்களை வணங்கிக் கொண்டிருங்கள்.” கூறுவீராக: “தங்களுக்கும், தங்கள் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் கியாம நாளில் நஷ்டத்தை உண்டு பண்ணிக் கொண்டவர்கள் தாம் நிச்சயமாகப் பெரும் நஷ்டவாளிகள்; அதுவே மிகத் தெளிவான நஷ்டமாகும் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்க.”

எனவே, அவனையன்றி நீங்கள் நாடியவற்றை நீங்கள் வணங்கிக் கொள்ளுங்கள், (அதற்குரிய வேதனைப் பெறுவீர்கள்,) “நிச்சயமாக நஷ்டவாளிகள், கியாமத்து நாளில் தமக்கும், தம் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் நஷ்டத்தை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொண்டார்களே அத்தகையவர்கள் தாம், அதுவே தெளிவான நஷ்டமாகும் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

So worship whatever you wish besides Him.” Say, “Indeed, the losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. That is indeed the clear loss.”

Lahum min fawqihim thulalun mina alnnari wamin tahtihim thulalun thalika yukhawwifu Allahu bihi AAibadahu ya AAibadi faittaqooni

They shall have coverings of Fire, above them and covering (of Fire) beneath them. With this Allâh does frighten His slaves: "O My slaves, therefore fear Me!"

They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me.

(மறுமை நாளில்) "இவர்களின் (தலைக்கு) மேலும் நெருப்பு சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும். இவர்களின் (பாதங்களின் கீழும் (நெருப்பு) சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும்" இதைப் பற்றியே, அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார் களை நோக்கி, "என் அடியார்களே! எனக்கு நீங்கள் பயந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்" என்று கூறி பயமுறுத்துகின்றான்.

(மறுமை நாளில்) இவர்களுக்கு மேலே நெருப்பிலான தட்டுகளும், இவர்களின் கீழும் (நெருப்பிலான) தட்டுகளும் இருக்கும்; இவ்வாறு அதைக்கொண்டு அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார்களை அச்சமூட்டுகிறான்; “என் அடியார்களே! என்னிடம் நீங்கள் பயபக்தியுடன் இருங்கள்.”

(மறுமை நாளில்) அவர்களுக்கு, அவர்களின் மேலிருந்து நெருப்பிலான தட்டுகளும், அவர்களுக்குக் கீழிலிருந்து (நெருப்பிலான) தட்டுகளும் இருக்கும், (நரகத்தின் நிலை பற்றிக்கூறப்பட்ட) அது, அதனைக் கொண்டு, அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார்களை பயமுறுத்துகிறான், என் அடியார்களே! (பாவங்களைத் தவிர்ப்பதன்மூலம்) என்னை நீங்கள் பயந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

They will have layers of fire above them and below them. That is how Allah warns His slaves. Then fear Me, O My slaves!

Waallatheena ijtanaboo alttaghoota an yaAAbudooha waanaboo ila Allahi lahumu albushra fabashshir AAibadi

Those who avoid At-Tâghût (false deities) by not worshipping them and turn to Allâh (in repentance), for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My slaves –

But those who have avoided Taghut, lest they worship it, and turned back to Allah - for them are good tidings. So give good tidings to My servants

(ஆகவே,) "எவர்கள் ஷைத்தான்களை வணங்காது, அவைகளிலிருந்து விலகி முற்றிலும் அல்லாஹ்வையே நோக்கு கின்றார்களோ, அவர்களுக்குத்தான் நற்செய்தி. ஆகவே, (நபியே!) நீங்கள் நம்முடைய (நல்ல) அடியார்களுக்கு நற்செய்தி கூறுங்கள்."

எவர்கள் ஷைத்தான்களை வணங்குவதைத் தவிர்த்துக் கொண்டு, அவற்றிலிருந்து விலகி முற்றிலும் அல்லாஹ்வின் பால் முன்னோக்கியிருக்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களுக்குத் தான் நன்மாராயம்; ஆகவே (என்னுடைய) நல்லடியார்களுக்கு நன்மாராயங் கூறுவீராக!

மேலும், ஷைத்தான்களை_அவர்களை வணங்குவதைத் தவிர்த்து_(விலகி முற்றிலும்) அல்லாஹ்வின் (வணக்கத்தின்)பால் திரும்பிவிட்டார்களே அத்தகையோர்_அவர்களுக்குத் தான் நன்மாராயம் உண்டு, ஆகவே, (நபியே!) என் அடியார்களுக்கு நீர் நன்மாராயம் கூறுவீராக!

But those who shun the worship of false gods and penitently turn to Allah, there are glad tidings for them. So give glad tidings to My slaves,

Allatheena yastamiAAoona alqawla fayattabiAAoona ahsanahu olaika allatheena hadahumu Allahu waolaika hum oloo alalbabi

Those who listen to the Word [good advice Lâ ilâha illallâh – (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh) and Islâmic Monotheism] and follow the best thereof (i.e. worship Allâh Alone, repent to Him and avoid Tâghût) those are (the ones) whom Allâh has guided and those are men of understanding.

Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding.

அவர்கள் எத்தகையவர்கள் என்றால், பேச்சை செவியுற்று, அதில் மிக அழகியதை (மட்டும்) பின்பற்றி நடக்கின்றனர். இத்தகையவர்களையே, அல்லாஹ் நேரான பாதையில் செலுத்துகின்றான். இவர்கள்தாம் (உண்மையில்) அறிவுடையவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

அவர்கள் சொல்லை - நல்லுபதேசத்தைச் செவியேற்று அதிலே அழகானதைப் பின்பற்றுகிறார்கள். அல்லாஹ் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்துவது இத்தகையவர்களைத் தாம்; இவர்கள் தாம் நல்லறிவுடையோர்.

அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால், சொல்லை செவியுறுவார்கள், பின்னர் அதில் மிக அழகானதைப் பின்பற்றுவார்கள். அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால், அல்லாஹ் அவர்களை நேர் வழியில் செலுத்திவிட்டான், இன்னும் அவர்கள் தாம் அறிவுடையோர்.

those who listen to what is said and follow the best of it. They are the ones whom Allah has guided, and they are the people of understanding.

Afaman haqqa AAalayhi kalimatu alAAathabi afaanta tunqithu man fee alnnari

Is, then one against whom the Word of punishment is justified (equal to the one who avoids evil)? Will you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) rescue him who is in the Fire?

Then, is one who has deserved the decree of punishment [to be guided]? Then, can you save one who is in the Fire?

(நபியே!) "எவன் (பாவம் செய்து) வேதனைக்குத் தகுதியுடையவனாகி விட்டானோ (அவன் நரகம் சென்றே தீருவான்.) நரகத்திலிருக்கும் அவனை நீங்கள் காப்பாற்றி விடுவீர்களா?"

(நபியே!) எவன் மீது வேதனை பற்றிய வாக்கு உண்மையாகி விட்டதோ, நெருப்பிலிருக்கும் அவனை நீர் காப்பாற்றி விடமுடியுமா?

(நபியே!) எவன் மீது வேதனை பற்றிய வாக்கு உண்மையாகிவிட்டதோ அவனா? (இரட்சகனை பயந்தவனைப் போன்றவன்?) (நரக) நெருப்பில் (செல்ல) இருக்கும் அவனை நீர் காப்பாற்றிவிடுவீரா?

Can you save those against whom the decree of punishment has been passed to be in the Fire?

Lakini allatheena ittaqaw rabbahum lahum ghurafun min fawqiha ghurafun mabniyyatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu waAAda Allahi la yukhlifu Allahu almeeAAada

But those who fear their Lord (Allâh) and keep their duty to Him, for them are built lofty rooms, one above another under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise). (This is) the Promise of Allâh, and Allâh does not fail in (His) Promise.

But those who have feared their Lord - for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. [This is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in [His] promise.

எவர்கள் தங்கள் இறைவனுக்குப் பயப்பட்டு நடக்கின் றார்களோ அவர்களுக்கு, (சுவனபதியில்) மேல்மாடிகள் உண்டு. அதற்கு மென்மேலும் கட்டடங்கள் எழுப்பப்பட்டிருக்கும். அதில் நீரருவிகள் தொடர்ந்து ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும். (இவ்வாறே அவர்களுக்கு) அல்லாஹ் வாக்களித்திருக்கின்றான். அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய வாக்குறுதியில் மாறமாட்டான்.

ஆனால், எவர்கள் தங்கள் இறைவனுக்கு பயபக்தியுடன் நடந்து கொள்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுக்கு அடுக்கடுக்கான மேன்மாளிகைகள் உண்டு; அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறுகள் சதா ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும். (இதுவே) அல்லாஹ்வின் வாக்குறுதி - அல்லாஹ் தன் வாக்குறுதியில் மாற மாட்டான்.

எனினும், தங்கள் இரட்சகனுக்கு அஞ்சி நடக்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர்_ அவர்களுக்கு (சுவனபதியில் அடுக்கடுக்காக) மாளிகைகள் உண்டு, அவைகளுக்கு மேலும் கட்டப்பட்ட மாளிகைகள் உண்டு, அவற்றின் கீழ் ஆறுகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும், (இதுவே) அல்லாஹ்வின் வாக்குறுதியாகும், அல்லாஹ் (தன்னுடைய) வாக்குறுதியில் மாறமாட்டான்.

But those who fear their Lord will have lofty mansions, built one above another, under which rivers flow. This is the promise of Allah; Allah never breaks His promise.

Alam tara anna Allaha anzala mina alssamai maan fasalakahu yanabeeAAa fee alardi thumma yukhriju bihi zarAAan mukhtalifan alwanuhu thumma yaheeju fatarahu musfarran thumma yajAAaluhu hutaman inna fee thalika lathikra liolee alalbabi

See you not that Allâh sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water springs, and afterward thereby produces crops of different colours, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow; then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this is a Reminder for men of understanding.

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding.

(நபியே!) "நீங்கள் பார்க்கவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்தான், மேகத்திலிருந்து மழையை பொழியச் செய்து, அதனைப் பூமியில் ஊற்றுக்களாக ஓடச் செய்கின்றான். பின்னர், அதனைக் கொண்டு பல நிறங்களையுடைய (பலவகைப்) பயிர்களை வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றான். பின்னர், அவை (கருக்கொண்டு) மஞ்சள் நிறமாக இருக்கக் காண்கின்றீர்கள். பின்னர், அதனைக் காய்ந்த சருகுகளாக ஆக்கி விடுகின்றான். நிச்சயமாக இதில் அறிவுடைய வர்களுக்கு நல்ல படிப்பினை இருக்கின்றது."

நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? அல்லாஹ் வானத்திலிருந்து நீரை இறக்கி, அதனை பூமியில் ஊற்றுகளில் ஓடச் செய்கிறான்; அதன்பின், அதைக் கொண்டு வெவ்வேறு நிறங்களை உடைய பயிர்களை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறான். அப்பால், அது உலர்ந்து மஞ்சள் நிறமடைகிறதை நீர் பார்க்கிறீர்; பின்னர் அதைக் கூளமாகச் செய்து விடுகிறான் - நிச்சயமாக இதில் அறிவுடையோருக்குப் படிப்பினை இருக்கிறது.  

(நபியே!) நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ், வானத்திலிருந்து (மழை) நீரை இறக்கி அதனைப் பூமியில் ஊற்றுகளாக ஓடச் செய்கின்றான், பின்னர், அதனைக் கொண்டு பல வேளாண்மை(ப்பயிர்)களை_ அதன் நிறங்கள் மாறுபட்டவையாக இருக்க அவன் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றான், பின்னர் உளர்ந்து, அவை மஞ்சள் நிறமடைவதை நீர் காண்கின்றீர், பின்னர், அதனை(க்காய்ந்த) சருகுகளாக்கிவிடுகின்றான், நிச்சயமாக இதில், அறிவுடையோர்களுக்கு படிப்பினை இருக்கிறது.

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs in the earth, then He brings forth thereby crops of various colors; then they whither and you see them turn yellow; then He causes them to crumble? Indeed, there is a reminder in this for people of understanding.

Afaman sharaha Allahu sadrahu lilislami fahuwa AAala noorin min rabbihi fawaylun lilqasiyati quloobuhum min thikri Allahi olaika fee dalalin mubeenin

Is he whose breast Allâh has opened to Islâm, so that he is in light from his Lord (as he who is a non-Muslim)? So, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allâh! They are in plain error!

So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islam and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah. Those are in manifest error.

எவருடைய உள்ளத்தை, இஸ்லாமை அடைய அல்லாஹ் விசாலப்படுத்தினானோ அவர், தன் இறைவனின் பிரகாசத்தில் இருக்கின்றார். அல்லாஹ்வை ஞாபகம் செய்வதிலிருந்து விலகி, எவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்கள் கடினமாகி விட்டனவோ அவர்களுக்குக் கேடுதான். இத்தகையவர்கள், பகிரங்கமான வழிகேட்டில்தான் இருக்கின்றனர்.

அல்லாஹ் எவருடைய இருதயத்தை இஸ்லாத்திற்காக விசாலமாக்குகிறானோ அவர் தம் இறைவனின் ஒளியில் இருக்கிறார்; (ஆனால்) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய திக்ரை - நினைவை விட்டும் விலகி எவர்களுடைய இருதயங்கள் கடினமாகி விட்டனவோ, அவர்களுக்குக் கேடுதான் - இத்தகையோர் பகிரங்கமான வழிகேட்டில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

“அல்லாஹ் எவருடைய இதயத்தை இஸ்லாத்திற்காக (அதை ஏற்பதற்கு) விசாலமாக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றானோ அவரா? (எவருடைய இதயம் அதை ஏற்பதிலிருந்து சுருங்கி இறுகிவிட்டதோ அவரைப் போன்று ஆவார்?) அவர் (அதன் காரணமாக) தன் இரட்சகனிடமிருந்துள்ள பிராகசத்தின் மீது இருக்கிறார், ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ்வை நினைவு கூருவதைவிட்டும் (விலகி) எவர்களின் இதயங்கள் (இறுகி) கடினமாகிவிட்டனவோ அவர்களுக்குக் கேடுதான், அவர்கள் பகிரங்கமான வழிகேட்டில்(தான்) இருக்கின்றனர்.

Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so he is enlightened by his Lord [like a disbeliever]? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened upon hearing the reminder of Allah; it is they who are clearly misguided.

Allahu nazzala ahsana alhadeethi kitaban mutashabihan mathaniya taqshaAAirru minhu juloodu allatheena yakhshawna rabbahum thumma taleenu julooduhum waquloobuhum ila thikri Allahi thalika huda Allahi yahdee bihi man yashao waman yudlili Allahu fama lahu min hadin

Allâh has sent down the Best Statement, a Book (this Qur'ân), its parts resembling each other (in goodness and truth) (and) oft-repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it). Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allâh. That is the Guidance of Allâh. He guides therewith whom He wills; and whomever Allâh sends astray, for him there is no guide.

Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide.

அல்லாஹ் அழகான விஷயங்களையே (இந்த) வேதத்தில் இறக்கி இருக்கின்றான். (இதிலுள்ள வசனங்கள் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று முரண்பாடில்லாமல்) ஒன்றை மற்றொன்று ஒத்ததாக (இருப்பதுடன், மனதில் பதிவதற்காக ஒரே விஷயத்தை) மென்மேலும் (பல வகையில்) கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. எவர்கள் தங்கள் இறைவனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறார்களோ, (அவர்கள் அதனைக் கேட்ட மாத்திரத்தில்) அவர்களுடைய உரோமம் சிலிர்த்து விடுகிறது. பின்னர், அவர்களுடைய தேகங்களும், உள்ளங்களும் இளகி அல்லாஹ்வைத் தியானம் செய்ய ஆரம்பிக்கின்றன. இதுவே அல்லாஹ்வினுடைய நேரான வழியாகும். அல்லாஹ் விரும்பியவர்களை இதன் மூலம் நேரான வழியில் செலுத்துகிறான். எவனை அல்லாஹ் தவறான வழியில் விட்டுவிட்டானோ அவனை, நேரான வழியில் செலுத்தக்கூடியவன் ஒருவனுமில்லை.

அல்லாஹ் மிக அழகான விஷயங்களை வேதமாக இறக்கியருளினான்; (இவை முரண்பாடில்லாமல்) ஒன்றுகொன்று ஒப்பான (முதஷாபிஹ் ஆன)தாகவும், (மனதில் பதியுமாறு) திரும்பத் திரும்பக் கூறப்படுவதாகவும் இருக்கின்றன; தங்கள் இறைவனுக்கு எவர்கள் அஞ்சுகிறார்களோ அவர்களுடைய தொலி(களின் உரோமக்கால்)கள் (இவற்றை கேட்கும் போது) சிலிர்த்து - விடுகின்றன. பிறகு, அவர்களுடைய தொலிகளும், இருதயங்களும் அல்லாஹ்வின் தியானத்தில் இளகுகின்றன - இதுவே அல்லாஹ்வின் நேர்வழியாகும் - இதன் மூலம், தான் நாடியவர்களை அவன் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்துகிறான். ஆனால், எவனை அல்லாஹ் வழிகேட்டில் விட்டுவிடுகிறானோ, அவனை நேர்வழியில் நடத்துவோர் எவருமில்லை.

அல்லாஹ் மிக்க அழகான செய்தியை வேதமாக (குர் ஆனாக) இறக்கி இருக்கின்றான், (இதிலுள்ள வசனங்கள் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று முரண்பாடில்லாமல்) ஒன்றை மற்றொன்று ஒத்ததாக திரும்பத் திரும்பக் கூறப்படுவதாக உள்ளன, தங்கள் இரட்சகனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறார்களே அத்தகையோரின் தோள்(களின் உரோமங்)கள் (அதனை கேட்ட மாத்திரத்தில்) சிலிர்த்து விடுகின்றன, பின்னர் அவர்களுடைய தோள்களும், இதயங்களும் அல்லாஹ்வை நினைவு கூர்வதின்பால் இளகுகின்றன. அதுவே அல்லாஹ்வுடைய நேர் வழியாகும், தான் நாடியவர்களை அவன் இதன் மூலம் நேர் வழியில் செலுத்துகிறான், எவரை அல்லாஹ் தவறான வழியில் விட்டுவிட்டானோ, அவரை நேர் வழியில் செலுத்தக்கூடியவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை.

Allah has sent down the best message – a consistent Book of repeated lessons – causing the skins of those who fear their Lord to shiver, then their skins and their hearts soften at the remembrance of Allah. This is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. But whoever Allah causes to stray, there is none to guide him.

Afaman yattaqee biwajhihi sooa alAAathabi yawma alqiyamati waqeela lilththalimeena thooqoo ma kuntum taksiboona

Is he then, who will confront with his face the awful torment on the Day of Resurrection (as he who enters peacefully in Paradise)? And it will be said to the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong doers): "Taste what you used to earn!"

Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn."

எவன், மறுமையின் கொடிய வேதனையைத் தன் முகத்தைக் கொண்டேனும் தடுத்துக்கொள்ளப் பிரயாசைப்படுவானோ, அவன் (சுவனவாசிக்கு சமமாவானா?) அநியாயக்காரர்களை நோக்கி நீங்கள் தேடிக் கொண்ட (தீய) செயலைச் சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள் என்றுதான் கூறப்படும்.

எவன் கியாம நாளின் கொடிய வேதனையைத் தன் முகத்தைக்கொண்டேனும் தடுத்துக் கொள்ள முற்படுகிறானோ அவன் (சுவர்க்க வாசியாக முடியுமா?) மேலும், அநியாயக் காரர்களுக்கு “நீங்கள் சம்பாதித்துக் கொண்டதை (தீவினைப் பயனை) அனுபவியுங்கள்” என்று கூறப்படும்.

எவர், மறுமை நாளில் தீய வேதனையைத் தம் முகத்தைக் கொண்டேனும் (தன்னைவிட்டு) தடுத்துக்கொள்ள முற்படுகிறாரோ அவரா? (சுவன வாசிக்குச் சமமாவார்?) இன்னும் அநியாயக்காரர்களிடம், “நீங்கள் சம்பாதித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தவற்றை (அதன் தீய பலனை)ச் சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள்” என்று கூறப்படும்.

Is one who will shield himself from the terrible punishment with his face on the Day of Resurrection [like someone in Paradise]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers: “Taste what you used to earn.”

Kaththaba allatheena min qablihim faatahumu alAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona

Those before them denied, and so the torment came on them from directions they perceived not.

Those before them denied, and punishment came upon them from where they did not perceive.

(இவ்வாறே) இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தவர்களும், (நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப்) பொய்யாக்கினார்கள். ஆதலால், (வேதனை வருமென்பதை) அவர்கள் (ஒரு சிறிதும்) உணர்ந்து கொள்ளாத விதத்தில், வேதனை அவர்களை வந்தடைந்தது.

(இவ்வாறே) இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தவர்களும் (வேத வசனங்களைப்) பொய்ப்பிக்க முற்பட்டனர்; ஆகவே அவர்கள் அறியாப்புறத்திலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு வேதனை வந்தது.

(இவ்வாறே) இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தோர் (நம் தூதர்களைப்) பொய்யாக்கினார்கள், ஆகவே, அவர்கள் (ஒரு சிறிதும்) உணர்ந்துகொள்ளாத விதத்தில் வேதனை அவர்களை வந்தடைந்தது.

Those who came before them also disbelieved, so the punishment came upon them from where they could not imagine.

Faathaqahumu Allahu alkhizya fee alhayati alddunya walaAAathabu alakhirati akbaru law kanoo yaAAlamoona

So, Allâh made them to taste the disgrace in the present life, but greater is the torment of the Hereafter if they only knew!

So Allah made them taste disgrace in worldly life. But the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.

இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையிலும் இழிவையே அவர்கள் சுவைக்கும்படி அல்லாஹ் செய்தான். மறுமையிலுள்ள வேதனையோ மிகப் பெரிது. (இதனை) அவர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டுமே!

இவ்வாறு, இவ்வுலகில் அவர்களை இழிவை அனுபவிக்கும்படி அல்லாஹ் செய்தான்; (அவர்களுக்கு) மறுமையின் வேதனையோ மிகப்பெரிதாகும் - இதை அவர்கள் அறிந்து கொண்டிருப்பார்களாயின்

பின்னர், இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கயில் இழிவைச் சுவைக்குமாறு அவர்களை அல்லாஹ் செய்தான் அவர்கள், அறிந்துகொண்டிருப்பார்களாயின் மறுமையிலுள்ள வேதனை(யோ) மிகப் பெரிது (என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்வார்கள்).

Therefore Allah gave them a taste of disgrace in the life of this world, but the punishment of the Hereafter is far greater, if only they knew.

Walaqad darabna lilnnasi fee hatha alqurani min kulli mathalin laAAallahum yatathakkaroona

And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Qur'ân every kind of similitude in order that they may remember.

And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example - that they might remember.

மனிதர்கள் நல்லுணர்ச்சி பெறுவதற்காக, இந்தக் குர்ஆனில் எல்லா உதாரணங்களையும் நாம் கூறியிருக்கிறோம்.

இன்னும், இந்த குர்ஆனில் மனிதர்களுக்காக எல்லாவித உதாரணங்களையும், அவர்கள் சிந்தித்துப் பார்ப்பதற்காக நாம் திடமாக எடுத்துக் கூறியுள்ளோம்.

நிச்சயமாக, மனிதர்களுக்கு இந்தக் குர் ஆனில் ஒவ்வொரு உதாரணத்தையும் (அதைக்கொண்டு) அவர்கள் நல்லுணர்ச்சி பெறுவதற்காக நாம் (எடுத்துக்) கூறியிருக்கிறோம்.

Indeed, We have presented for mankind all kinds of examples in this Qur’an, so that they may take heed –

Quranan AAarabiyyan ghayra thee AAiwajin laAAallahum yattaqoona

An Arabic Qur'ân, without any crookedness (therein) in order that they may avoid all evil which Allâh has ordered them to avoid, fear Him and keep their duty to Him.

[It is] an Arabic Qur'an, without any deviance that they might become righteous.

அன்றி, (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) அவர்கள் பயந்து கொள்வதற்காக கோணலற்ற இக்குர்ஆனை(த் தெளிவான) அரபி மொழியில் இறக்கி வைத்தோம்.

(அல்லாஹ்விடம்) அவர்கள் பயபக்தியுடன் இருப்பதற்காக, எத்தகைய (குறையும்) கோணலும் இல்லாத இந்த குர்ஆனை அரபி மொழியில் (இறக்கி வைத்தோம்).

(அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) அவர்கள் பயந்துகொள்வதற்காக, எத்தகைய கோணலும் அற்ற அரபி மொழியிலான குர் ஆனாக இருக்கும் நிலையில் (அதனை இறக்கி வைத்தோம்).

an Arabic Qur’an, free of flaws and contradictions, so that they may be conscious of Allah.

Daraba Allahu mathalan rajulan feehi shurakao mutashakisoona warajulan salaman lirajulin hal yastawiyani mathalan alhamdu lillahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona

Allâh puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allâh) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master (like those who worship Allâh Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All praise and thanks are Allâh's! But most of them know not.

Allah presents an example: a slave owned by quarreling partners and another belonging exclusively to one man - are they equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! But most of them do not know.

அல்லாஹ் ஓர் உதாரணத்தைக் கூறுகிறான்: ஒரு மனிதன் பல எஜமான்களுக்கு (அடிமையாக) இருந்து (அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தனக்கே அவன் வேலை செய்யவேண்டுமென்று) இழுபறி செய்துகொள்கின்றனர். மற்றொரு மனிதன் (அடிமைதான்; ஆனால், அவன்) ஒருவனுக்கு மட்டும் சொந்தமானவன். இவ்விருவரும் சமமாவார்களா? (ஆகமாட்டார் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்வீர்கள். இதற்காக) புகழனைத்தும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே (என்று துதி செய்வோமாக! இவ்வாறே பல தெய்வங்களை வணங்கும் ஒருவன், ஒரே அல்லாஹ்வை வணங்குபவனுக்கு சமமாக மாட்டான். எனினும்,) அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் (இதனை கூட) அறிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை.

அல்லாஹ் ஓர் உதாரணம் கூறுகிறான்: ஒருவருடன் ஒருவர் கருத்து வேற்றுமை கொண்டிருக்கும் பல எஜமானர்களுக்கு (ஊழியம் செய்யும்) ஒரு மனிதனும்; ஒரே மனிதனுக்கு (ஊழியம் செய்யும் பிறிதொரு) மனிதனும் இருக்கின்றனர். இவர்கள் இருவரும் சமமாவார்களா? அல்ஹம்து லில்லாஹ் - எல்லாப் புகழும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே! எனினும், அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் அறிய மாட்டார்கள்.

கருத்து வேற்றுமையுள்ள (தீய குணங்களைக் கொண்ட) பல கூட்டுக்காரர்களை கொண்ட ஒரு மனிதனையும், (எந்த கூட்டுக்காரர்களும் இல்லாது கலப்பற்றவாறு) ஒரே மனிதனுக்குச் சொந்தமான வேறு ஒரு மனிதனையும் அல்லாஹ் உதாரணமாகக் கூறுகிறான், உதாரணத்தால் அவ்விருவரும் சமமாவார்களா? (சமமானவர்கள் அல்லர்!) புகழனைத்தும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியவையாகும், எனினும், அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் அறியமாட்டார்கள்.

Allah makes a comparison of a slave owned by several quarrelsome masters, and a slave owned by only one master. Are they equal in comparison? All praise be to Allah. But most of them do not know.

Innaka mayyitun wainnahum mayyitoona

Verily, you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) will die, and verily, they (too) will die.

Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நீங்களும் இறந்துவிடக்கூடியவரே. நிச்சயமாக அவர்களும் இறந்துவிடக் கூடியவர்கள்தாம்.

நிச்சயமாக நீரும் மரிப்பவர்; நிச்சயமாக அவர்களும் மரிப்பவர்களே.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நீர் இறந்துவிடுகிறவரே, நிச்சயமாக அவர்களும் இறந்துவிடுகிறவர்கள்தாம்.

You [O Prophet] will surely die, and they too will die;

Thumma innakum yawma alqiyamati AAinda rabbikum takhtasimoona

Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord.

Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute.

பின்னர், மறுமையில் நீங்கள் அனைவரும் உங்கள் இறைவனிடத்தில் நிச்சயமாக (கொண்டுவரப்பட்டு) நீங்கள் (நீதத்தைக் கோரி உங்களுக்குள்) தர்க்கித்துக் கொள்வீர்கள்.

பின்னர், கியாம நாளில் உங்களுடைய இறைவனிடத்தில் நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் (கொண்டுவரப்பட்டு) வாது செய்வீர்கள்.  

பின்னர், நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் மறுமை நாளில் உங்கள் இரட்சகனிடத்தில் தர்க்கித்துக் கொள்வீர்கள்.

then on the Day of Resurrection, you will dispute with one another before your Lord.

Faman athlamu mimman kathaba AAala Allahi wakaththaba bialssidqi ith jaahu alaysa fee jahannama mathwan lilkafireena

Then, who does more wrong than one who utters a lie against Allâh, and denies the truth [this Qur'ân, the Prophet (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) and Islâmic Monotheism] when it comes to him! Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?

So who is more unjust than one who lies about Allah and denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a residence for the disbelievers?

அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய் சொல்லி தன்னிடம் வந்த (வேதமாகிய) உண்மையைப் பொய்யாக்குபவனை விட அநியாயக்காரன் யார்? அத்தகைய நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகத்தில் அல்லவா (இருக்கின்றது)?

எனவே, அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய்யுரைத்து தன்னிடம் உண்மை வந்த போது அதனைப் பொய்ப்பிப்பவனை விடப் பெரும் அநியாயக்காரன் யார்? (அத்தகைய) காஃபிர்களுக்கு நரகில் தங்குமிடம் இல்லையா?

ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய்யுரைத்து, இன்னும் உண்மையை(யாகிய வேதத்தை)_அது தன்னிடம் வந்தபோது பொய்யாக்கியவனைவிட பெரும் அநியாயக்காரன் யார்? (அத்தகைய) நிராகரிப்பவர்களுக்குத் தங்குமிடம் நரகத்தில் இல்லையா?

Who is then more unjust than he who tells lies about Allah and rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is there no abode for the disbelievers in Hell?

Waallathee jaa bialssidqi wasaddaqa bihi olaika humu almuttaqoona

And he (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) who has brought the truth (this Qur'ân and Islâmic Monotheism) and (those who) believed therein (i.e. the true believers of Islâmic Monotheism), those are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious and righteous persons. See V.2:2).

And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it - those are the righteous.

உண்மையைக் கொண்டு வந்தவ(ராகிய நமது தூத)ரும், அதனை உண்மையென்றே நம்பியவரும் ஆகிய இத்தகையவர்கள் தாம் இறை அச்சமுடையவர்கள்.

அன்றியும், உண்மையைக் கொண்டு வந்தவரும், அவ்வுண்மையை ஏற்(று உறுதிப்படுத்து)பவர்களும் - இவர்கள் தாம் - பயபக்தியுடையவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

மேலும், உண்மையைக் கொண்டு வந்தவ(ராகிய நமது தூத)ரும், அதனை உண்மையென்றே (ஒப்புக்கொண்டு) ஏற்பவர்களும் (ஆகிய அத்தகையவர்கள் தாம் பயபக்தியாளர்கள்.

But the one who came with the truth and believed in it – it is they who are the righteous.

Lahum ma yashaoona AAinda rabbihim thalika jazao almuhsineena

They shall have all that they will desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the Muhsinûn (good-doers. See the footnote of V.9:120).

They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good -

அவர்கள் விரும்பியதெல்லாம் அவர்களின் இறைவ னிடத்தில் அவர்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும். ஏனென்றால், (இத்தகைய) நன்மை செய்தவர்களுக்கு இதுவே (தகுதியான) கூலியாகும்.

அவர்களுக்கு, அவர்கள் விரும்புவது (எல்லாம்) அவர்களுடைய இறைவனிடத்தில் இருக்கின்றது; இதுவே நன்மை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தோருக்குரிய நற்கூலியாகும்.

அவர்களுக்கு தங்களின் இரட்சகனிடத்தில் அவர்கள் நாடியவை உண்டு. அது நன்மை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தோருக்குரிய (தகுதியான) கூலியாகும்.

They will have with their Lord whatever they wish for. Such is the reward of those who do good.

Liyukaffira Allahu AAanhum aswaa allathee AAamiloo wayajziyahum ajrahum biahsani allathee kanoo yaAAmaloona

So that Allâh may expiate from them the evil of what they did and give them the reward, according to the best of what they used to do.

That Allah may remove from them the worst of what they did and reward them their due for the best of what they used to do.

அவர்கள் செய்த குற்றங்களையும் அல்லாஹ் மன்னித்து, அவர்களுடைய கூலியை அவர்கள் செய்ததைவிட மிக அழகான விதத்தில் கொடுப்பான்.

அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றில் மிகத் தீயவற்றையும் அவர்களை விட்டும் அல்லாஹ் விலக்கி, அவர்களுடைய (நற்காரியங்களுக்குரிய) கூலியை அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததை விட மிக்க அழகியதைக் கொண்டு அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பான்.

ஏனெனில், அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றில் மிகத் தீயதை அல்லாஹ் அவர்களை விட்டும் நீக்கி (மன்னித்து) விட்டு, அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவற்றிற்கு மிக அழகானவற்றையும் (நற்) கூலியாக அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பான்.

And Allah will absolve them of their worst deeds and reward them according to the best of what they used to do.

Alaysa Allahu bikafin AAabdahu wayukhawwifoonaka biallatheena min doonihi waman yudlili Allahu fama lahu min hadin

Is not Allâh Sufficient for His slave? Yet they try to frighten you with those (whom they worship) besides Him! And whom Allâh sends astray, for him there will be no guide.

Is not Allah sufficient for His Servant [Prophet Muhammad]? And [yet], they threaten you with those [they worship] other than Him. And whoever Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide.

தன் அடியாருக்கு (வேண்டிய உதவி செய்ய) அல்லாஹ் (ஒருவனே) போதுமானவனல்லவா? (நபியே!) அவர்கள் (தங்கள் தெய்வங்களாகிய) அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவைகளைப் பற்றி உங்களை பயமுறுத்துகின்றனர். (அதை நீங்கள் பொருட்படுத்த வேண்டாம்.) எவனை அல்லாஹ் தவறான வழியில் விட்டு விடுகின்றானோ, அவனை நேரான வழியில் செலுத்தக்கூடியவன் ஒருவனுமில்லை.

அல்லாஹ்வே அவனுடைய அடியாருக்குப் போதுமானவனல்லவா? இன்னும் அவனை அல்லாத (வேறு தெய்வங்களாகவுள்ள) அவர்களைக் கொண்டு அவர்கள் உம்மைப் பயமுறுத்துகின்றனர்; மேலும், எவனை அல்லாஹ் வழிகேட்டில் விட்டுவிடுகிறானோ, அவனை நேர் வழியில் நடத்துவோர் எவருமில்லை.

தன் அடியாருக்கு அல்லாஹ் (ஒருவனே சகலவற்றிற்கும்) போதுமானவனாக இல்லையா? இன்னும், (நபியே!) அவர்கள் அவனல்லாத (அவர்களின் தெய்வங்களான)வற்றைக் கொண்டு உம்மை பயமுறுத்துகின்றனர், இன்னும், எவரை அல்லாஹ் தவறான வழியில் விட்டுவிடுகின்றானோ அவரை, நேர் வழியில் செலுத்தக்கூடியவன் ஒருவனுமில்லை.

Is Allah not sufficient for His slave? Yet they frighten you with those [whom they worship] besides Him. Whoever Allah causes to stray, there is none to guide him.

Waman yahdi Allahu fama lahu min mudillin alaysa Allahu biAAazeezin thee intiqamin

And whomsoever Allâh guides, for him there will be no misleader. Is not Allâh All-Mighty, Possessor of Retribution?

And whoever Allah guides - for him there is no misleader. Is not Allah Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution?

எவனை அல்லாஹ் நேரான வழியில் செலுத்துகிறானோ அவனை, வழிகெடுத்துவிடக் கூடியவன் ஒருவனுமில்லை. அல்லாஹ் (அனைவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனும் பழிவாங்க ஆற்றல் உடையவனுமல்லவா?

அன்றியும், எவரை அல்லாஹ் நேர்வழியில் நடத்துகிறானோ, அவரை வழி கெடுப்பவர் எவருமில்லை; அல்லாஹ் யாவரையும் மிகைத்தவனாகவும், பழிதீர்ப்பவனாகவும் இல்லையா?

எவரை அல்லாஹ் நேர் வழியில் செலுத்துகின்றானோ அவரை, வழிகெடுத்துவிடக் கூடியவன் எவனுமில்லை, அல்லாஹ் (யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தவனாக, தண்டித்தலை உடையவனாக இல்லையா?

And whoever Allah guides, none can lead him astray. Is not Allah All-Mighty, Capable of Retribution?

Walain saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawati waalarda layaqoolunna Allahu qul afaraaytum ma tadAAoona min dooni Allahi in aradaniya Allahu bidurrin hal hunna kashifatu durrihi aw aradanee birahmatin hal hunna mumsikatu rahmatihi qul hasbiya Allahu AAalayhi yatawakkalu almutawakkiloona

And verily, if you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" Surely, they will say: "Allâh (has created them)." Say: "Tell me then, the things that you invoke besides Allâh – if Allâh intended some harm for me, could they remove His harm? Or if He (Allâh) intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His Mercy?" Say: "Sufficient for me is Allâh; in Him those who trust (i.e. believers) must put their trust."

And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers."

(நபியே!) வானங்களையும் பூமியையும், படைத்தவன் யார்? என்று நீங்கள் அவர்களைக் கேட்பீராயின், "அல்லாஹ்தான்" என்று நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள். பின்னும், (நபியே! அவர்களை நோக்கி) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு யாதொரு தீங்கிழைக்க நாடினால், (நீங்கள் தெய்வங்களென அழைக்கும் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாத) அவை அத்தீங்கை நீக்கிவிட முடியுமா என்பதை நீங்கள் கவனித்தீர்களா? அல்லது அவன் எனக்கு ஏதும் அருள்புரிய நாடினால், அவனுடைய அருளை இவை தடுத்துவிடுமா (என்பதையும் நீங்கள் கவனித்தீர்களா? நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "அல்லாஹ் (ஒருவனே) எனக்குப் போதுமானவன். நம்பக் கூடியவர்கள் அனைவரும் அவனையே நம்பவும்."

வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் படைத்தவன் யார்? என்று நீர் அவர்களைக் கேட்பீர்களாயின்: “அல்லாஹ் தான்!” என்று அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாகக் கூறுவார்கள்; (நபியே!) நீர் சொல்வீராக: “அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு ஏதேனும் ஒரு கெடுதி செய்ய நாடினால் நீங்கள் (பிரார்த்தித்து) அழைக்கும் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவை அக்கெடுதியை நீக்கிவிட முடியுமா? அல்லது அவன் எனக்கு ரஹ்மத் செய்ய நாடினால்: அவனுடைய (அந்த) ரஹ்மத்தை அவை தடுத்துவிட முடியுமா? என்பதை நீங்கள் கவனித்தீர்களா?” (நபியே!) மேலும் நீர் கூறுவீராக: “அல்லாஹ்வே எனக்குப் போதுமானவன்; உறுதியாக நம்பிக்கை வைப்போரெல்லாம், அவன் மீதே உறுதியாக நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளல் வேண்டும்.”

மேலும், “வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் படைத்தவன் யார்?” என்று (நபியே!)) நீர் அவர்களைக் கேட்பீராயின், “அல்லாஹ்தான்” என்று நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள், (பின்னும் நபியே! அவர்களிடம்) “அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி நீங்கள் அழைக்கின்றவற்றை பார்த்தீர்களா? அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு ஏதேனும் இடரை (உண்டாக்க) நாடினால், அவைகள் அவனது (நாட்டத்தால் எனக்கு ஏற்பட்ட) இடரை நீக்கிவிடக்கூடியவையா? அல்லது எனக்கு ஏதேனும் ஓர் அருளை அவன் நாடினால், அவனுடைய அருளை அவை தடுத்துவிடக்கூடியவையா?” என்று நீர் கேட்பீராக!” அல்லாஹ்வே எனக்குப் போதுமானவன், (சகல காரியங்களையும் அவனிடம் ஒப்படைத்து முழுமையாக) நம்பிக்கை வைப்பவர்கள் அவன்மீதே முழுமையாக நம்பிக்கை வைப்பார்கள்” என்று கூறுவீராக!

If you ask them who created the heavens and earth, they will surely say, “Allah.” Say, “Then tell me about those whom you supplicate besides Allah; if Allah wills to harm me, can they remove His harm? Or if He wills mercy for me, can they withhold His mercy?” Say, “Allah is sufficient for me; in Him alone do the reliant put their trust.”

Qul ya qawmi iAAmaloo AAala makanatikum innee AAamilun fasawfa taAAlamoona

Say: (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) "O My people! Work according to your way, I am working (according to my way). Then you will come to know

Say, "O my people, work according to your position, [for] indeed, I am working; and you are going to know

(பின்னும் நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "என்னுடைய மக்களே! நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய நிலைமையில் இருந்துகொண்டு நீங்கள் (செய்யக் கூடியதைச்) செய்து கொண்டிருங்கள். நானும், (என்னுடைய நிலையிலிருந்து கொண்டு, நான் செய்யக்கூடியதை) செய்து வருவேன். (எவருடைய செயல் குற்றம் என்பதைப்) பின்னர், நீங்கள் நிச்சயமாக அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்."

“என்னுடைய சமூகத்தாரே! உங்கள் நிலைமைக்குத் தக்கவாறு நீங்கள் (செய்ய வேண்டியதைச்) செய்து கொண்டிருங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக நானும் (என் நிலைமைக்குத் தக்கவாறு செயல்) செய்து வருபவன் - ஆகவே, நீங்கள் விரைவில் அறிவீர்கள்!” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.

“என்னுடைய சமூகத்தாரே! உங்களுடைய வழி முறையின் மீதே நீங்கள் (செய்யக்கூடியதை) நீங்கள் செய்துகொண்டிருங்கள். (என்னுடைய வழியின் மீது) நிச்சயமாக நான்) செய்து வருபவன், ஆகவே, (எவருடைய செயல் சரியானது என்பதை அடுத்து) நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

Say, “O my people, carry on as you are, and so will I. You will come to know

Man yateehi AAathabun yukhzeehi wayahillu AAalayhi AAathabun muqeemun

"To whom comes a disgracing torment, and on whom descends an everlasting torment."

To whom will come a torment disgracing him and on whom will descend an enduring punishment."

இழிவுபடுத்தும் வேதனை யாரை வந்தடைகின்றது? நிலையான வேதனை எவர் மீது இறங்குகின்றது? (என்பதையும் நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.)

“இழிவு படுத்தும் வேதனை யாருக்கு வரும்? நிலையான வேதனையும் யார் மீது இறங்குகிறது?” (என்பதை அறிவீர்கள்).

“தன்னை இழிவுபடுத்தும் வேதனை யாருக்கு வரும்? என்பதையும், இன்னும் நிலையான வேதனை யார் மீது இறங்கும் என்பதையும் (நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்வீர்கள்.)”

who will receive a humiliating punishment, and upon whom will descend an everlasting punishment.”

Inna anzalna AAalayka alkitaba lilnnasi bialhaqqi famani ihtada falinafsihi waman dalla fainnama yadillu AAalayha wama anta AAalayhim biwakeelin

Verily, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) the Book (this Qur'ân) for mankind in truth. So, whosoever accepts the guidance, it is only for his own self; and whosoever goes astray, he goes astray only to his (own) loss. And you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) are not a Wakîl (trustee or disposer of affairs, or guardian) over them.

Indeed, We sent down to you the Book for the people in truth. So whoever is guided - it is for [the benefit of] his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray to its detriment. And you are not a manager over them.

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நாம் மனிதர்களின் நன்மைக்காகவே முற்றிலும் உண்மையைக் கொண்டுள்ள இவ்வேதத்தை உங்கள்மீது இறக்கி வைத்தோம். ஆகவே, எவன் இதனைப் பின்பற்றி நடக்கின்றானோ, அது அவனுக்கே நன்று; எவன் (இதிலிருந்து) வழிதவறி விடுகின்றானோ அவன், வழி தவறியதன் பலன் அவனுக்கே தீங்காக முடியும். (நபியே!) நீங்கள் அவர்கள் மீது பொறுப்பாளர் அல்ல.

நிச்சயமாக நாம் மனிதர்களுக்காக உண்மையைக் கொண்டு இந்த வேதத்தை உம்மீது இறக்கியருளினோம்; எனவே, எவர் (இந்த) நேர்வழியைப் பின்பற்றி நடக்கிறாரோ, அது அவருக்கே (நல்லது); எவர் வழிதவறி கெடுகிறாரோ அவர் தனக்கு பாதகமாகவே வழி கெட்டுப் போகிறார்; அன்றியும் நீர் அவர்கள் மீது பாதுகாவலர் அல்லர்.  

(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நாம், மனிதர்களுக்காக உண்மையைக் கொண்டுள்ள (இவ்)வேதத்தை உம் மீது இறக்கினோம், ஆகவே, எவர் நேர்வழி பெற்று விடுகின்றாரோ அது அவருக்கே (நன்மை) ஆகும், எவர் (அதிலிருந்து) வழிகெட்டுவிடுகின்றரோ அவர் வழிகெடுவதெல்லாம் அவரின் மீதே (கேடாக) ஆகும், (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களுக்காகப் பொறுப்பேற்றுக்கொள்பவரும் அல்லர்.

We have sent down to you the Book with the truth for all mankind. Whoever follows the guidance, it is to his own benefit, and whoever goes astray, it is only to his own loss. You are not a keeper over them.

Allahu yatawaffa alanfusa heena mawtiha waallatee lam tamut fee manamiha fayumsiku allatee qada AAalayha almawta wayursilu alokhra ila ajalin musamman inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona

It is Allâh Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply.

Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

மனிதர்கள் இறக்கும்பொழுதும், இறக்காமல் நித்திரையில் இருக்கும்பொழுதும் அல்லாஹ்வே அவர்களுடைய உயிரைக் கைப்பற்றுகிறான். பின்னர், எவர்கள் மீது மரணம் விதிக்கப்பட்டதோ அவர்களுடைய உயிரை(த் தன்னிடமே) நிறுத்திக் கொள்கிறான். மற்றவர்க(ளின் உயிர்க)ளை, குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட காலம் வரையில் வாழ அவன் அவர்களிடமே அனுப்பி விடுகின்றான். சிந்திக்கக் கூடிய மக்களுக்கு, நிச்சயமாக இதில் பல படிப்பினைகள் இருக்கின்றன.

அல்லாஹ், உயிர்களை அவை மரணிக்கும் போதும், மரணிக்காதவற்றை அவற்றின் நித்திரையிலும் கைப்பற்றி, பின்பு எதன் மீது மரணத்தை விதித்துவிட்டானோ அதை(த் தன்னிடத்தில்) நிறுத்திக் கொள்கிறான்; மீதியுள்ளவற்றை ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தவணை வரை (வாழ்வதற்காக) அனுப்பி விடுகிறான் - சிந்தித்துப் பார்க்கும் மக்களுக்கு, நிச்சயமாக அதில் அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

உயிர்களை_ அவை இறக்கும் பொழுதும், தம் நித்திரையிலும் இறப்பெய்யாதவற்றையும்_ அல்லாஹ்வே கைப்பற்றுகிறான், பின்னர், எதன் மீது மரணத்தை அவன் விதித்துவிட்டானோ அதை(த் தன்னிடமே) அவன் நிறுத்திக்கொள்கின்றான், மேலும், மற்றவற்றை குறிப்பிட்ட காலம் வரை (வாழ்வதற்காக) அவன் அனுப்பிவிடுகின்றான், சிந்தித்துப் பார்க்கக்கூடிய சமூத்தார்க்கு, நிச்சயமாக இதில் படிப்பினைகள் இருக்கின்றன.

Allah takes away the souls at the time of their death and of those who do not die during their sleep. He withholds the souls of those on whom He has decreed death, and releases others until an appointed term. Indeed, there are signs in this for people who reflect.

Ami ittakhathoo min dooni Allahi shufaAAaa qul awalaw kanoo la yamlikoona shayan wala yaAAqiloona

Have they taken (others) as intercessors besides Allâh? Say: "Even if they have power over nothing whatever and have no intelligence?"

Or have they taken other than Allah as intercessors? Say, "Even though they do not possess [power over] anything, nor do they reason?"

இவர்கள் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவைகளை(த் தங்களுக்குச்) சிபாரிசு செய்பவர்கள் என்று (எண்ணி) எடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக் கின்றனரா? "அவைகளுக்கு யாதொரு சக்தியும், யாதொன்றை அறியக்கூடிய உணர்ச்சியும் இல்லாதிருந்தாலுமா (அவைகளை நீங்கள் உங்களுக்குச் சிபாரிசு செய்பவைகள் என்று எடுத்துக் கொள்வீர்கள்)?" என்று (நபியே!) நீங்கள் அவர்களைக் கேளுங்கள்.

அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவற்றை(த் தங்களுக்குப்) பரிந்து பேசுபவர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டார்களா? (நபியே!) கூறுவீராக! “அவை எந்த சக்தியையும், அறிவையும் பெறாமல் இருந்த போதிலுமா?” (என்று.)

இவர்கள் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவற்றை(த் தங்களுக்கு)ப் பரிந்துரையாளர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டார்களா? “அவர்கள் (காரியத்தில்) எதையும் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொள்ளாதவர்களாகவும், (எதையும்) விளங்காதவர்களாகவும் இருந்தாலுமா?” என்று (நபியே! அவர்களை) நீர் கேட்பீராக!

Or have they taken besides Allah others as intercessors? Say, “Even though they have no power nor do they understand?”

Qul lillahi alshshafaAAatu jameeAAan lahu mulku alssamawati waalardi thumma ilayhi turjaAAoona

Say: "To Allâh belongs all intercession. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you shall be brought back."

Say, "To Allah belongs [the right to allow] intercession entirely. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned."

பின்னும் (நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: சிபாரிசுகள் அனைத்துமே அல்லாஹ்வுக்குச் சொந்தமானவை. (ஆகவே அவனுடைய அனுமதியின்றி, அவனிடத்தில் ஒருவரும் சிபாரிசு செய்ய முடியாது.) வானங்கள் பூமியின் ஆட்சி முழுவதும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்குரியதே. பின்னர், (மறுமையில்) அவனிடமே நீங்கள் கொண்டு வரப்படுவீர்கள்.

“பரிந்து பேசுதல் எல்லாம், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது; வானங்களுடையவும், பூமியுடையவும் ஆட்சி அவனுக்கே உரியது; பின்னர் அவனிடமே நீங்கள் மீட்டப்படுவீர்கள்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

(பின்னும் நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக; ”பரிந்துரைகள் யாவும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியதாகும்.” (ஆகவே, அவனுடைய அனுமதியும், அவன் பொருத்தமுமின்றி அவனிடத்தில் ஒருவரும் பரிந்துரை செய்ய முடியாது) வானங்கள், மற்றும் பூமியின் ஆட்சி (முழுவதும்) அவனுக்கே உரியது, பின்னர் (மறுமையில்) அவனிடமே நீங்கள் மீட்டப்படுவீர்கள்.

Say, “All intercession belongs to Allah alone. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and earth, then to Him you will be returned.”

Waitha thukira Allahu wahdahu ishmaazzat quloobu allatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati waitha thukira allatheena min doonihi itha hum yastabshiroona

And when Allâh Alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust (from the Oneness of Allâh) and when those (whom they obey or worship) besides Him (other than Allâh, like all false deities – it may be a Messenger, an angel, a pious man, a jinn, or any other creature even idols, graves of religious people, saints, priests, monks and others) are mentioned, behold, they rejoice!

And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those [worshipped] other than Him are mentioned, immediately they rejoice.

அல்லாஹ்வின் பெயரை மட்டும் தனியாகக் கூறப்பட்டால், மறுமையை நம்பாத அவர்களின் உள்ளங்கள் (கோபத்தால்) சுருங்கி விடுகின்றன. அவன் அல்லாதவை(களின் பெயர்)கள் கூறப் பட்டாலோ, சந்தோஷப்பட்டு (அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்கள் விரிந்து மலர்ந்து) விடுகின்றன.

மேலும், அல்லாஹ்(வின் பெயர்) மட்டும் தனித்தவனாகக் கூறப்பட்டால் மறுமையை ஈமான் கொள்ளாதவர்களின் இருதயங்கள் சுருங்கி விடுகின்றன; மேலும் அவனை அன்றி மற்றவர்(களின் பெயர்)கள் கூறப்பட்டால், உடனே அவர்கள் பெரிதும் மகிழ்வடைகிறார்கள்.

மேலும், (இவர்களின் கூட்டுக்காரர்களன்றி) அல்லாஹ்(வைமட்டும்)_ அவன் தனித்தவனாகக் கூறப்பட்டால், மறுமையை நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளவில்லையே அத்தகையோரின் இதயங்கள் (கோபத்தால்) சுருங்கிவிடுகின்றன, இன்னும், அவனையன்றி மற்றோர்(களின் பெயர்)கள் கூறப்பட்டால் அது சமயம் அவர்கள் மகிழ்வடைகின்றனர்.

When Allah alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but as soon as those other than Him are mentioned, they rejoice.

Quli allahumma fatira alssamawati waalardi AAalima alghaybi waalshshahadati anta tahkumu bayna AAibadika fee ma kanoo feehi yakhtalifoona

Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "O Allâh! Creator of the heavens and the earth! All-Knower of the Ghaib (Unseen) and the seen! You will judge between your slaves about that wherein they used to differ."

Say, "O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You will judge between your servants concerning that over which they used to differ."

(நபியே! பிரார்த்தனை செய்து) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "எங்கள் இறைவனே! வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் படைத்தவனே! மறைவானதையும், வெளிப்படையானதையும் அறிந்தவனே! உன் அடியார்கள் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் விஷயத்தில் அவர்களுக் கிடையில் நீ தீர்ப்பளிப்பாயாக!"

“அல்லாஹ்வே! வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் படைத்தவனே! மறைவானவற்றையும் பகிரங்கமானவற்றையும் அறிபவனே! உன் அடியார்கள் வேறுபட்டு(த் தமக்கிடையே தர்க்கித்து)க் கொண்டிருக்கும் விஷயத்தில் நீதான் தீர்ப்புச் செய்வாய்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

“அல்லாஹ்வே! வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் படைத்தவனே! மறைவானவற்றையும், வெளிப்படையானவற்றையும் அறிந்தவனே! உன் அடியார்களுக்கு மத்தியில் அவர்கள் எதில் வேறுபாடு கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ, அதில் நீயே தீர்ப்பு வழங்குவாய்” (என்று நபியே!) நீர் கூறிவீராக!

Say, “O Allah, Originator of the heavens and earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, it is you who will judge between Your slaves concerning that over which they used to differ.

Walaw anna lillatheena thalamoo ma fee alardi jameeAAan wamithlahu maAAahu laiftadaw bihi min sooi alAAathabi yawma alqiyamati wabada lahum mina Allahi ma lam yakoonoo yahtasiboona

And those who did wrong (the polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh), if they had all that is in earth and therewith as much again, they verily, would offer it to ransom themselves therewith on the Day of Resurrection from the evil torment; and there will become apparent to them from Allâh what they had not been reckoning.

And if those who did wrong had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby from the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will appear to them from Allah that which they had not taken into account.

(நபியே!) அநியாயம் செய்தவர்களுக்குப் பூமியிலுள்ள அனைத்துமே சொந்தமாக இருந்து, அத்துடன் அதைப் போன்றதொரு பாகமும் இருந்தபோதிலும் மறுமையின் கொடிய வேதனையிலிருந்து அவர்கள் தப்பித்துக்கொள்ள அவை அனைத்தையுமே பரிகாரமாகக் கொடுத்துவிடவே நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் விரும்புவார்கள். (எனினும், அது ஆகக்கூடியதல்ல) அன்றி, அவர்கள் எதிர்பார்க்காததெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு வெளியாகும்.

மேலும், அநியாயம் செய்தவர்களிடம் பூமியிலுள்ளயாவும், அத்துடன் அது போன்றதும் இருக்குமானாலும் நிச்சயமாக கியாம நாளின் கொடிய வேதனைக்கு (அதிலிருந்து விடுதலை பெற அவையனைத்தையுமே) ஈடாகக் கொடுத்துவி(ட நா)டுவார்கள்; மேலும், அவர்கள் எண்ணிப் பார்த்திராதவையெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு (வேதனையாக) வெளியாகும்.

மேலும், அநியாயம் செய்துவிட்டார்களே அத்தகையோருக்கு பூமியிலுள்ள அனைத்துமிருந்து, அத்துடன் அது போன்றதும் (சொந்தமாக) இருந்திருந்தால், கொடிய வேதனையிலிருந்து (விடிவுதேடி தப்பித்துக் கொள்வதற்கு) மறுமை நாளில் அதை ஈடாகக் கொடுத்துவிடுவார்கள், அன்றியும், (அப்பொழுது) அவர்கள் எண்ணிப்பார்த்திராததெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு வெளியாகும்.

If the wrongdoers were to possess all that is on earth and the like of it, they would surely offer it to ransom themselves from the terrible punishment on the Day of Resurrection. There will appear to them from Allah what they had never anticipated.

Wabada lahum sayyiatu ma kasaboo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona

And the evils of that which they earned will become apparent to them, and that which they used to mock at will encircle them.

And there will appear to them the evils they had earned, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

அன்றி, அவர்கள் செய்துகொண்டிருந்த (கெட்ட) செயல்களின் தீய பலன் அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்பட்டுவிடும். அன்றி, அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த வேதனையும் அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்துகொள்ளும்.

அன்றியும் அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்த தீமைகள் அவர்களுக்கு வெளியாகும், மேலும், எதைக் கொண்டு அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அதுவும் அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும்.

மேலும், அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்தவற்றின் தீயவைகளும் அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்பட்டுவிடும், அன்றியும் அவர்கள் எதனைப் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அது அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும்.

The evil consequences of their deeds will become apparent to them, and they will be overwhelmed by what they used to ridicule.

Faitha massa alinsana durrun daAAana thumma itha khawwalnahu niAAmatan minna qala innama ooteetuhu AAala AAilmin bal hiya fitnatun walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona

When harm touches man, he calls to Us (for help); then when We have (rescued him from that harm and) changed it into a favour from Us, he says: "Only because of knowledge (that I possess) I obtained it." Nay, it is only a trial, but most of them know not!

And when adversity touches man, he calls upon Us; then when We bestow on him a favor from Us, he says, "I have only been given it because of [my] knowledge." Rather, it is a trial, but most of them do not know.

மனிதனை யாதேனும் தீங்கு அணுகும் சமயத்தில், (அதனை நீக்கும்படி) நம்மிடமே அவன் பிரார்த்தனை செய்கின்றான். (அதனை நீக்கி) அவனுக்கு நாம் யாதொரு அருள் புரிந்தாலோ, "தான் அதனை அடைந்ததெல்லாம் தன்னுடைய அறிவின் சாமர்த்தியத்தால்தான்" என்று கூறுகின்றான். (அது சரி) அல்ல; அதுவும் (அவர்களுக்கு) ஒரு சோதனையாகும். ஆயினும், அவர்களில் அனேகர் இதனை அறிந்து கொள்வதில்லை.

மனிதனை ஏதேனும் ஒரு துன்பம் தீண்டுமானால் அவன் நம்மையே (பிரார்த்தித்து) அழைக்கிறான்; பிறகு, நம்மிடமிருந்து அவனுக்கு ஒரு பாக்கியத்தைக் கொடுத்தோமானால்; அவன்: “இது எனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டதெல்லாம், என் அறிவின் காரணமாகத்தான்!” என்று கூறுகின்றான். அப்படியல்ல! இது ஒரு சோதனையே - ஆனால் அவர்களில் பெரும் பாலோர் (இதை) அறியமாட்டார்கள்.

ஆகவே, மனிதனை ஏதேனும் துன்பம் தொட்டுவிடுமானால் (அதனை நீக்கிவிடுமாறு பிரார்த்தித்து) அவன் நம்மை அழைக்கின்றான், (அதனை நீக்கிய பின் நம்மிடமிருந்து) அவனுக்கு யாதோர் அருட்கொடையை நாம் கொடுத்தால், “இதை நான் கொடுக்கப்பட்டதெல்லாம் (என்) அறிவினால் தான்” என்று அவன் கூறுகிறான், அவ்வாறல்ல! அது (அவர்களுக்கு) ஒரு சோதனையாகும், எனினும், அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலனோர் (இதனை) அறியமாட்டார்கள்.

When adversity befalls man, he cries out to Us. Then when We grant him a favor from Us, he says, “I have been granted this only because of my knowledge.” It is rather a test, but most of them do not know.

Qad qalaha allatheena min qablihim fama aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yaksiboona

Verily, those before them said it, yet (all) that they had earned availed them not.

Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn.

இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தவர்களும், இவ்வாறுதான் கூறிக்கொண்டு இருந்தார்கள். எனினும், அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்ததில் ஒன்றுமே அவர்களுக்குப் பயனளிக்காமல் போய்விட்டது.

இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தவர்களும் இவ்வாறுதான் கூறிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்; ஆயினும் அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்தது எதுவும் அவர்களுக்குப் பயனளிக்கவில்லை.

இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தார்களே அத்தகையோரும் இதனைத் திட்டமாகக் கூறிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள், பின்னர், அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்களே, அது அவர்களுக்குப் பயனளிக்கவில்லை.

It was already said by those before them, but all what they earned was of no avail to them,

Faasabahum sayyiatu ma kasaboo waallatheena thalamoo min haolai sayuseebuhum sayyiatu ma kasaboo wama hum bimuAAjizeena

So, the evil results of that which they earned overtook them. And those who did wrong of these [people to whom you (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) have been sent] will also be overtaken by the evil results (torment) for that which they earned; and they will never be able to escape.

And the evil consequences of what they earned struck them. And those who have wronged of these [people] will be afflicted by the evil consequences of what they earned; and they will not cause failure.

அவர்கள் செய்துகொண்டிருந்த (கெட்ட) செயலின் தீய பலன்கள்தாம் அவர்களை வந்தடைந்தன. அன்றி, (யூதர்களாகிய) இவர்களிலும் எவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்கின்றார்களோ அவர்களை, அவர்கள் செய்யும் (கெட்ட) செயலின் தீய பலன் அதிசீக்கிரத்தில் வந்தடையும். அவர்கள் (இவ்விஷயத்தில் அல்லாஹ்வைத்) தோற்கடித்துவிட முடியாது.

ஆகவே, அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்ததின் தீமைகள் அவர்களை வந்தடைந்தது; இன்னும், இ(க் கூட்டத்த)வர்களிலும் எவர் அநியாயம் செய்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்ததின் தீமைகள் விரைந்தே வந்து சேரும் - அன்றியும் அவர்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வை) தோற்கடிக்க முடியாது.

ஆகவே, அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்த தீயவைகள் அவர்களைப்பீடித்தன, மேலும், இவர்களில் அநியாயம் செய்தார்களே அத்தகையோர்_அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்ததன் தீயவைகள் அவர்களை வந்தடையும், அவர்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வை எதிலும்) இயலாமல் ஆக்ககூடியவர்களும் அல்லர்.

Therefore the evil consequences of their deeds overtook them, and the wrongdoers among these [pagans] will be overtaken by the evil consequences of their deeds, and they will have no escape.

Awalam yaAAlamoo anna Allaha yabsutu alrrizqa liman yashao wayaqdiru inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yuminoona

Do they not know that Allâh enlarges the provision for whom He wills, and straitens it (for whom He wills). Verily, in this are signs for a folk who believe!

Do they not know that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.

அவர்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ளவில்லையா? அல்லாஹ்தான், தான் நாடியவர்களுக்கு உணவை விரிவாக்குகின்றான். (தான் நாடியவர்களுக்குச்) சுருக்கி விடுகின்றான். நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட மக்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக இதில் பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களுக்கு உணவு (சம்பத்து)களை விசாலமாக்குகிறான்; சுருக்கியும் விடுகிறான் என்பதை அவர்கள் அறியவில்லையா? ஈமான் கொள்ளும் மக்கள் சமூகத்திற்கு நிச்சயமாக இதில் திடமான அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.  

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ், தான் நாடியவர்களுக்கு உணவை (சம்பத்துகளை) விரிவாக்குகின்றான், (தான் நாடியவர்களுக்கு) சுருக்கியும் விடுகிறான் என்பதை அவர்கள் அறியவில்லையா? விசுவாசங்கொண்ட சமூத்தார்க்கு நிச்சயமாக இதில் அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

Do they not know that Allah extends provision to whom He wills or restricts it? Indeed, there are signs in this for people who believe.

Qul ya AAibadiya allatheena asrafoo AAala anfusihim la taqnatoo min rahmati Allahi inna Allaha yaghfiru alththunooba jameeAAan innahu huwa alghafooru alrraheemu

Say: "O 'Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh, verily, Allâh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

(நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "எனது அடியார்களே! (உங்களில்) எவரும் வரம்பு மீறி தமக்குத்தாமே தீங்கிழைத்துக் கொண்டபோதிலும், அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் நம்பிக்கை இழந்துவிட வேண்டாம். (நீங்கள் பாவத்திலிருந்து விலகி, மனம் வருந்தி மன்னிப்பைக் கோரினால்) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (உங்களுடைய) பாவங்கள் அனைத்தையும் மன்னித்துவிடுவான். ஏனென்றால், நிச்சயமாக அவன் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவனும், கிருபை உடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

“என் அடியார்களே! (உங்களில்) எவரும் வரம்பு மீறி தமக்குத்தாமே தீங்கிழைத்துக் கொண்ட போதிலும், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய ரஹ்மத்தில் அவர் நம்பிக்கையிழக்க வேண்டாம் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் பாவங்கள் யாவையும் மன்னிப்பான் - நிச்சயமாக அவன் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவன்; மிக்கக் கருணையுடையவன்” (என்று நான் கூறியதை நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.

“தங்கள் மீது (தாங்களே) அளவு கடந்து (பாவங்கள் செய்து) விட்டோராகிய என் அடியார்களே! அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளிலிருந்து (அவன் மன்னிப்பை விட்டும்) நிராசையற்றோராக நீங்கள் ஆகிவிடவேண்டாம், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்_(உங்களுடைய) பாவங்கள் யாவையும்_(நீங்கள் பிழை பொறுக்கத் தேடினால்,) அவன் மன்னித்துவிடுவான், (ஏனென்றால்) நிச்சயமாக அவன் தான் மிக்க மன்னிகிறவன், மிகக்கிருபையுடையவன்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

Say [Allah says], “O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of Allah’s mercy, for indeed Allah forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Waaneeboo ila rabbikum waaslimoo lahu min qabli an yatiyakumu alAAathabu thumma la tunsaroona

"And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islâmic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him (in Islâm) before the torment comes upon you, (and) then you will not be helped.

And return [in repentance] to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped.

ஆகவே, (மனிதர்களே!) உங்களை வேதனை வந்தடைவ தற்கு முன்னதாகவே, நீங்கள் உங்கள் இறைவன் பக்கம் திரும்பி, அவனுக்கு முற்றிலும் வழிபட்டு நடங்கள். (வேதனை வந்து விட்டாலோ,) பின்னர் (ஒருவராலும்) நீங்கள் உதவி செய்யப்பட மாட்டீர்கள்.

ஆகவே (மனிதர்களே!) உங்களுக்கு வேதனை வரும் முன்னரே நீங்கள், உங்கள் இறைவன் பால் திரும்பி, அவனுக்கே முற்றிலும் வழிபடுங்கள்; (வேதனை வந்துவிட்டால்) பின்பு நீங்கள் உதவி செய்யப்பட மாட்டீர்கள்.

இன்னும் (மனிதர்களே!) உங்களுக்கு வேதனை வருவதற்கு முன்னதாக உங்கள் இரட்சகன்பால் (தவ்பாச்செய்து) நீங்கள் திரும்பிவிடுங்கள், அவனுக்கு (முற்றிலும்) நீங்கள் கீழ்ப்படிந்தும் விடுங்கள், (வேதனை வந்துவிட்டால்,) பின்னர் (எவராலும்) நீங்கள் உதவி செய்யப்படமாட்டீர்கள்.

Turn to your Lord [in repentance] and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you, for then you will not be helped.

WaittabiAAoo ahsana ma onzila ilaykum min rabbikum min qabli an yatiyakumu alAAathabu baghtatan waantum la tashAAuroona

"And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Qur'ân, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!"

And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive,

(மனிதர்களே!) நீங்கள் அறியாத விதத்தில் திடீரென உங்களிடம் வேதனை வருவதற்கு முன்னதாகவே உங்கள் இறைவனால் உங்களுக்கு இறக்கி வைக்கப்பட்ட, (வேதங்களில்) மிக அழகான இதனைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள்.

நீங்கள் அறியாத விதத்தில், திடீரென உங்களிடம் வேதனை வரும் முன்னரே, உங்கள் இறைவனால் உங்களுக்கருளப்பட்ட அழகானவற்றைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள்.

(மனிதர்களே!) நீங்கள் உணர்ந்து கொள்ளாத நிலையில் திடீரென உங்களுக்கு வேதனை வருவதற்கு முன்னதாக, உங்களிரட்சகனிடமிருந்து உங்களின் பக்கம் இறக்கிவைக்கப்பட்ட மிக்க அழகானவற்றையும் பின்பற்றுங்கள்:

Follow the best of what has been sent down to you all from your Lord, before the punishment comes upon you by surprise while you are unaware,

An taqoola nafsun ya hasrata AAala ma farrattu fee janbi Allahi wain kuntu lamina alssakhireena

Lest a person should say: "Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allâh (i.e. I have not done what Allâh has ordered me to do), and I was indeed among those who mocked [at the truth! i.e. Lâ ilâha illallâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh), the Qur'ân, and Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] and at the faithful believers]."

Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers."

(உங்களில்) எவரும், "அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றி நான் (கவனிக்க வேண்டியவைகளைக் கவனிக்காது) தவறிவிட்டேன். என்னுடைய கேடே! நான் (இவைகளைப்) பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தேனே!" என்று கூறாமல் இருப்பதற்காகவும்;

“அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு நான் செய்ய வேண்டிய கடமைகளில் குறை செய்து விட்டதின் கைசேதமே! பரிகாசம் செய்பவர்களில் நிச்சயமாக நானும் இருந்தேனே”! என்று (ஒவ்வொருவரும்) கூறாமல் இருப்பதற்காகவும்;

“அல்லாஹ்விற்கு நான் செலுத்தவேண்டியவற்றில் குறை செய்துவிட்டதன் மீது என்னுடைய கைசேதமே! இன்னும் நான் (உலகில்) பரிகாசம் செய்கிறவர்களில் இருந்தேனே” என்று எந்த ஒரு ஆத்மாவும் கூறாமலிருப்பதற்காகவும்.

Lest someone should say, “Woe to me for neglecting my duties towards Allah and for being among those who mocked [the truth]”;

Aw taqoola law anna Allaha hadanee lakuntu mina almuttaqeena

Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allâh had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqûn (the pious. See V.2:2)."

Or [lest] it say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous."

அல்லது (உங்களில் எவரும்) "அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு நேரான வழியை அறிவித்திருந்தால், நானும் இறை அச்சமுடையவர்களில் ஒருவனாகி இருப்பேன்!" என்று கூறாமலிருப்பதற்காகவும்;

அல்லது: “அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு நேர்வழியை அறிவித்திருந்தால், நானும் முத்தகீன் - பயபக்தியுடையவர்களில் - ஒருவனாகி இருப்பேனே!” என்று கூறாமல் இருப்பதற்காகவும்;

அல்லது “அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு நேர் வழிகாட்டியிருந்தால் நான் பயபக்தியுடையவர்களில் (ஒருவனாக) ஆகி இருப்பேன்!” என்று கூறாமலிப்பதற்காகவும்_

or says, “If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous”;

Aw taqoola heena tara alAAathaba law anna lee karratan faakoona mina almuhsineena

Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world), then I should indeed be among the Muhsinûn (good-doers. See V.2:112)."

Or [lest] it say when it sees the punishment, "If only I had another turn so I could be among the doers of good."

அல்லது (உங்களில் எவரும்) வேதனையைக் (கண்ணால்) கண்ட சமயத்தில் "(இவ்வுலகத்திற்கு) நான் திரும்பிச் செல்ல வழி உண்டா? அவ்வாறாயின் நான் நன்மைகளையே செய்வேன்" என்று கூறாமல் இருப்பதற்காகவும்,

அல்லது: வேதனையைக் கண்ட சமயத்தில், “(உலகத்திற்கு) நான் மீண்டு செல்ல வழி உண்டாகுமாயின், (அழகிய) நன்மை செய்வோரில் ஒருவனாக நானும் ஆகிவிடுவேன்!” என்று கூறாமல் இருப்பதற்காகவும்;

அல்லது வேதனையை அது காணும் சமயத்தில், “நிச்சயமாக எனக்கு (உலகத்திற்கு) திரும்பிச் செல்லுதல் இருக்குமானால், நான் நன்மை செய்வோரில் உள்ளவனாகி விடுவேன்” என்று கூறாமலிருப்பதற்காகவும்_

or says, upon seeing the punishment, “If only I had another chance, I could be among those who do good.”

Bala qad jaatka ayatee fakaththabta biha waistakbarta wakunta mina alkafireena

Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers.

But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers.

(அவ்வாறு எவனேனும் கூறினால், இறைவன் அவனை நோக்கி,) "மெய்யாகவே என்னுடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன; நீ அவைகளைப் பொய்யாக்கினாய்; கர்வம் கொண்டாய்; அதனை நிராகரிப்பவனாகவே இருந்தாய்" (என்று கூறுவான்).

(பதில் கூறப்படும்:) “மெய்யாகவே என்னுடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன; ஆனால் அவற்றை நீ பொய்ப்பிக்க முற்பட்டுப் பெருமையடித்தாய்; காஃபிர்களில் ஒருவனாகி இருந்தாய்.”

ஏன் இல்லை, “திட்டமாகவே என்னுடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன, பின்னர் நீ அவற்றைப் பொய்யாக்கினாய்; கர்வமும் கொண்டாய், (அதனை) நிராகரிப்பவர்களில் உள்ளவனாகவும் இருந்தாய்” (என்று அல்லாஹ் கூறுவான்).

[Allah will say,] “No indeed! My verses had already come to you, but you rejected them and acted arrogantly, and you were among the disbelievers.”

Wayawma alqiyamati tara allatheena kathaboo AAala Allahi wujoohuhum muswaddatun alaysa fee jahannama mathwan lilmutakabbireena

And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allâh (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners) – their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant?

And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant?

(நபியே!) மறுமை நாளன்று அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய் கூறும் இவர்களின் முகங்கள் கருத்துப் போயிருப்பதை நீங்கள் காண்பீர்கள். கர்வம் கொண்ட இவர்கள் செல்லுமிடம் நரகத்தில் அல்லவா (இருக்கின்றது)?

அன்றியும் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய்யுரைத்தார்களே (அவர்களுடைய) முகங்கள் கியாம நாளில் கறுத்துப் போயிருப்பதை நீர் காண்பீர்; பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த இவர்களின் தங்குமிடம் நரகத்தில் இருக்கிறதல்லவா?

இன்னும், (நபியே!) அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய்யுரைத்தார்களே அத்தகையோரை_அவர்களுடைய முகங்கள் மறுமை நாளில் கறுப்பாக்கப்பட்டவையாக (இருப்பதை) நீர் காண்பீர், கர்வங்கொண்டிருந்தவர்களுக்குத் தங்குமிடம் நரகத்தில் இல்லையா?

On the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah with their faces darkened. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant?

Wayunajjee Allahu allatheena ittaqaw bimafazatihim la yamassuhumu alssooo wala hum yahzanoona

And Allâh will deliver those who are the Muttaqûn (the pious. See V.2:2) to their places of success (Paradise). Evil shall touch them not, nor shall they grieve.

And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve.

எவர்கள் (பாவங்களிலிருந்து) முற்றிலும் (முழுமையாக) விலகிக்கொண்டார்களோ அவர்களை யாதொரு தீங்கும் அணுகாது அல்லாஹ் பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்வான்; அவர்கள் துக்கப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

எவர் பயபக்தியுடன் நடந்து கொள்கிறாரோ, அவர்களை அல்லாஹ் வெற்றியைக் கொண்டு ஈடேற்றுகிறான்; அவர்களைத் தீங்கும் தொடாது; அவர்கள் துக்கமடையவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

இன்னும், (அல்லாஹ்வை) பயந்து (பாவம் செய்வதிலிருந்து விலகிக்) கொண்டார்களே அத்தகையோரை_ அவர்களின் வெற்றியைக் கொண்டு அல்லாஹ் ஈடேற்றுவான், தீமை அவர்களைத் தொடாது, அவர்கள் கவலையடையவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

But Allah will save those who fear Him, for they have attained salvation; no harm will touch them, nor will they grieve.

Allahu khaliqu kulli shayin wahuwa AAala kulli shayin wakeelun

Allâh is the Creator of all things, and He is the Wakîl (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian) over all things.

Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs.

அல்லாஹ்வே எல்லா பொருள்களையும் படைத்தவன்; அவனே எல்லா பொருள்களின் பொறுப்பாளன்.

அல்லாஹ்தான் அனைத்துப் பொருட்களையும் படைப்பவன்; இன்னும், அவனே எல்லாப் பொருட்களின் பாதுகாவலனுமாவான்.

அல்லாஹ்(வே) ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் படைக்கிறவன், அவனே ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் மீதும் பொறுப்பாளனுமாவான்.

Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Maintainer of everything.

Lahu maqaleedu alssamawati waalardi waallatheena kafaroo biayati Allahi olaika humu alkhasiroona

To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, such are they who will be the losers.

To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah - it is those who are the losers.

வானங்கள் பூமியிலுள்ள (பொக்கிஷம் முதலிய)வைகளின் சாவி அவனிடமே இருக்கின்றது. ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களை எவர்கள் நிராகரிக்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்கள் முற்றிலும் நஷ்டம் அடைந்தவர்களே!

வானங்களினுடையவும், பூமியினுடையவும் சாவிகள் அவனிடமே இருக்கின்றன; ஆகவே, எவர் அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களை, நிராகரிக்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்கள் தாம் நஷ்டவாளிகள்.  

வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியின் (களஞ்சியங்களின்) சாவிகள் அவனிடமே இருக்கின்றன, இன்னும் அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களை நிராகரிக்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர்_அவர்கள் தாம் (முற்றிலும்) நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்களாவர்.

To Him belong the keys of the heavens and earth. As for those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah, it is they who are the losers.

Qul afaghayra Allahi tamuroonnee aAAbudu ayyuha aljahiloona

Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] to the polytheists): "Do you order me to worship other than Allâh? O you fools!"

Say, [O Muhammad], "Is it other than Allah that you order me to worship, O ignorant ones?"

(நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "மூடர்களே! அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவைகளையா வணங்கும்படி என்னை நீங்கள் ஏவுகின்றீர்கள்?"

“அறிவிலிகளே! நான் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவற்றை வணங்க வேண்டுமென்று என்னை நீங்கள் ஏவுகிறீர்களா?” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.

(நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக:” அறிவீனர்களே! அல்லாஹ் அல்லாததை நான் வணங்கவேண்டுமென்று நிச்சயமாக என்னை நீங்கள் ஏவுகின்றீர்களா?”

Say [O Prophet], “Do you order me to worship other than Allah, O ignorant people?”

Walaqad oohiya ilayka waila allatheena min qablika lain ashrakta layahbatanna AAamaluka walatakoonanna mina alkhasireena

And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), as it was to those (Allâh's Messengers) before you: "If you join others in worship with Allâh, (then) surely, (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers."

And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers."

(நபியே!) உங்களுக்கும், உங்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்த ஒவ்வொரு (தூது)வருக்கும் மெய்யாகவே வஹ்யி மூலம் அறிவிக்கப் பட்டது. (என்னவென்றால், இறைவனுக்கு) நீங்கள் இணைவைத்தால், உங்களுடைய நன்மைகள் அனைத்தும் அழிந்து, நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்களில் ஆகிவிடுவீர்கள் (என்பதாகும்).

அன்றியும், உமக்கும், உமக்கு முன் இருந்தவர்களுக்கும், வஹீ மூலம் நிச்சயமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது என்னவென்றால், “நீவிர் (இறைவனுக்கு) இணை வைத்தால், உம் நன்மைகள் (யாவும்) அழிந்து, நஷ்டமடைபவர்களாகி விடுவீர்கள்” (என்பதுவேயாகும்).

(நபியே!) “நீர் இணைவைத்தால் நிச்சயமாக உம்முடைய செயல்(கள் யாவும்) அழிந்துவிடும், நிச்சயமாக நீர் நஷ்டமடைபவர்களிலும் ஆகிவிடுவீர்” என உமக்கும், உமக்கு முன்னிருந்தவர்களுக்கும் (வஹீ) அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

It has already been revealed to you and to those who came before you that if you associate others with Allah, your deeds will surely become worthless, and you will certainly be among the losers.

Bali Allaha faoAAbud wakun mina alshshakireena

Nay! But worship Allâh (Alone and none else), and be among the grateful.

Rather, worship [only] Allah and be among the grateful.

ஆகவே, நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ் ஒருவனையே வணங்குங்கள்; அவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துபவராகவும் இருந்து வாருங்கள்.

ஆகவே, நீர் அல்லாஹ்வையே வணங்குவீராக! மேலும், அவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துபவர்களில் நின்றும் இருப்பீராக!

ஆகவே, நீர் அல்லாஹ்வையே வணங்குவீராக! மேலும், அவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துவோரில் நீர் ஆகிவிடுவீராக!

Rather, worship Allah alone and be among those who are grateful.

Wama qadaroo Allaha haqqa qadrihi waalardu jameeAAan qabdatuhu yawma alqiyamati waalssamawatu matwiyyatun biyameenihi subhanahu wataAAala AAamma yushrikoona

They made not a just estimate of Allâh such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified is He and Exalted is He above all that they associate as partners with Him!

They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

(நபியே!) அல்லாஹ்வின் (மேலான) தகுதிக்குத் தக்கவாறு அவனை அவர்கள் கண்ணியப்படுத்துவதில்லை. பூமி (இவ்வளவு பெரிதாக இருந்தபோதிலும் அது) முழுவதும் மறுமையில் அவனுடைய ஒரு கைப்பிடியில் இருக்கும். மேலும், வானங்கள் அனைத்தும் சுருட்டப்பட்டு அவனுடைய வலது கையில் இருக்கும். இவர்கள் இணைவைப்பதை விட்டு அவன் மிக மேலானவன்; அவன் மிக பரிசுத்தமானவன்.

அல்லாஹ்வின் கண்ணியத்திற்குத் தக்கவாறு அவர்கள் அவனை கண்ணியப்படுத்த வில்லை; இன்னும் இந்தப்பூமி முழுதும் கியாம நாளில் அவனுடைய ஒரு பிடிதான்; மேலும், வானங்களனைத்தும் அவனுடைய வலக்கையால் சுருட்டப்பட்டதாக இருக்கும்; அவர்கள் இணைவைப்பதை விட்டும் அவன் மகா தூயவன்.

மேலும், (நபியே!) அல்லாஹ்வை_அவனுடைய கண்ணியத்திற்குத் தக்கவாறு அவர்கள் மதிப்பளிக்கவில்லை, இன்னும், பூமி அனைத்தும் மறுமை நாளில் அவனுடைய (ஒரு கைப்) பிடியிலும், வானங்கள் (அனைத்தும்) அவனுடைய வலக்கையிலும் சுருட்டபட்டவையாயிருக்கும், அவன் தூயவன், இன்னும், அவர்கள் இணைவைப்பவற்றை விட்டும் அவன் மிக உயர்ந்தவன்.

They did not revere Allah His true reverence. On the Day of Resurrection, the whole earth will be in His Grip, and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified and exalted is He above all what they associate with Him!

Wanufikha fee alssoori fasaAAiqa man fee alssamawati waman fee alardi illa man shaa Allahu thumma nufikha feehi okhra faitha hum qiyamun yanthuroona

And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except him whom Allâh wills. Then it will be blown a second time, and behold they will be standing, looking on (waiting).

And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on.

ஸþர் (எக்காளம்) ஊதப்பட்டால், வானங்களில் இருப்பவர்களும், பூமியில் இருப்பவர்களும் அல்லாஹ் நாடியவர் களைத் தவிர, மூர்ச்சித்து மதி இழந்து (விழுந்து அழிந்து) விடுவார்கள். மறுமுறை ஸþர் ஊதப்பட்டால் உடனே அவர்கள் அனைவரும் (உயிர் பெற்று) எழுந்து நின்று (இறைவனை) எதிர் நோக்கி நிற்பார்கள்.

ஸூர் (எக்காளம்) ஊதப்பட்டால் உடன் வானங்களில் உள்ளவர்களும், பூமியில் உள்ளவர்களும் - அல்லாஹ் நாடியவர்களைத் தவிர - மூர்ச்சித்து விடுவார்கள்; பிறகு அதில் மறு தடவை ஊதப்பட்டதும் உடன் அவர்கள் யாவரும் எழுந்து, எதிர் நோக்கி நிற்பார்கள்.

மேலும், ஸுர்(குழல்) ஊதப்படும், பின்னர் வானங்களில் இருப்பவர்களும், பூமியில் இருப்பவர்களும்_ அல்லாஹ் நாடியவர்களைத் தவிர_ மூர்ச்சித்துச் சித்தமிழந்து விழுந்து) விடுவார்கள், பிறகு அதில் மறுமுறை ஊதப்படும், அப்போது அவர்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளைகளை எதிர்) பார்ப்பவர்களாக (யாவரும் உயிர் பெற்று) எழுந்து நிற்பார்கள்.

The Trumpet will be blown and all those in the heavens and all those on earth will fall dead, except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on.

Waashraqati alardu binoori rabbiha wawudiAAa alkitabu wajeea bialnnabiyyeena waalshshuhadai waqudiya baynahum bialhaqqi wahum la yuthlamoona

And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord (Allâh, when He will come to judge among men), and the Book will be placed (open), and the Prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward, and it will be judged between them with truth, and they will not be wronged.

And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged.

இறைவனின் ஒளியைக் கொண்டு பூமி பிரகாசிக்கும். (அவரவர்களின்) தினசரிக் குறிப்பு (அவரவர்கள் முன்) வைக்கப் பட்டுவிடும். நபிமார்களையும், இவர்களுடைய (மற்ற) சாட்சியங் களையும் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டு, அவர்களுக்கிடையில் நீதமாகத் தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்படும். (அவர்களுடைய நன்மையில் ஒரு அணுவளவேனும் குறைத்தோ, பாவத்தில் ஒரு அணுவளவேனும் அதிகப்படுத்தியோ) அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்யப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.

மேலும், பூமி தன் இறைவனுடைய ஒளியைக் கொண்டு பிரகாசிக்கும்; (அவர்களுடைய) குறிப்பேடு (அவர்கள் முன்) வைக்கப்படும்; இன்னும், நபிமார்களும், சாட்சிகளும் கொண்டுவரப்படுவார்கள்; அவர்களிடையே நியாயமாகத் தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்படும். அன்றியும் அவர்கள் (சிறிதும்) அநியாயம் செய்யப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.  

பூமி, தன் இரட்சகனின் “ஒளி”யைக் கொண்டு பிரகாசித்தும்விடும், குறிப்பேடு வைக்கப்பட்டும்விடும், நபிமார்களும், (அவர்களுடைய மற்ற) சாட்சியாளர்களும் கொண்டு வரப்படுவார்கள், அவர்களுக்கிடையே நியாயமாகத் தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்படும். அவர்கள் (சிறிதும்) அநியாயம் செய்யப்படவுமாட்டார்கள்.

The earth will shine with the light of its Lord, the record of deeds will be placed, the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forth, and judgment will be passed between them with fairness, and they will not be wronged.

Wawuffiyat kullu nafsin ma AAamilat wahuwa aAAlamu bima yafAAaloona

And each person will be paid in full of what he did; and He is Best Aware of what they do.

And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing of what they do.

ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும், அவன் செய்ததற்குரிய கூலியை முழுமையாகவே அடைவான். அல்லாஹ்வோ, அவர்கள் செய்தவை அனைத்தையும் நன்கறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும் தான் செய்ததற்குரிய கூலியை முழுமையாகப் பெறுவான்; மேலும், அவன், அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றை நன்கறிந்தவன்.

ஒவ்வோர் ஆத்மாவும் _ அது செய்த(தற்குரிய கூலியான)தை (பூரணமாக அதற்கு) நிறைவு செய்யப்படும், (அல்லாஹ்வாகிய) அவனோ, அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றை மிக்க அறிந்தவன்.

Every soul will be paid in full for what it has done, for He knows best what they do.

Waseeqa allatheena kafaroo ila jahannama zumaran hatta itha jaooha futihat abwabuha waqala lahum khazanatuha alam yatikum rusulun minkum yatloona AAalaykum ayati rabbikum wayunthiroonakum liqaa yawmikum hatha qaloo bala walakin haqqat kalimatu alAAathabi AAala alkafireena

And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups till when they reach it the gates thereof will be opened (suddenly like a prison at the arrival of the prisoners). And its keepers will say: "Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves, reciting to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "Yes," but the Word of torment has been justified against the disbelievers!

And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups until, when they reach it, its gates are opened and its keepers will say, "Did there not come to you messengers from yourselves, reciting to you the verses of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "Yes, but the word of punishment has come into effect upon the disbelievers.

(அந்நாளில்) நிராகரித்தவர்கள் அனைவரும், கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக நரகத்தின் பக்கம் ஓட்டி வரப்படுவார்கள். (அதன் சமீபமாக) அவர்கள் வந்தவுடன், அதன் வாயில்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டு விடும். அதன் காவலாளர்கள் அவர்களை நோக்கி, "உங்களில் இருந்து அல்லாஹ்வுடைய தூதர் உங்களிடம் வரவில்லையா? உங்கள் இறைவனுடைய வசனங்களை அவர் உங்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கவில்லையா? இந்நாளை நீங்கள் சந்திக்க வேண்டியதைப் பற்றி, அவர் உங்களுக்கு அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்ய வில்லையா?" என்று கேட்பார்கள். அதற்கவர்கள் "ஆம்! (வந்தார்கள்)" என்றே சொல்வார்கள். (ஆயினும், அது பயன் அளிக்காது. ஏனென்றால்,) நிராகரிப்பவர்களுக்கு வேதனையைப் பற்றிய தீர்ப்பு உறுதியாகி விட்டது.

(அந்நாளில்) நிராகரித்தவர்கள் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக நரகத்திற்கு இழுத்துக் கொண்டு வரப்படுவார்கள்; அவர்கள் அங்கே வந்தவுடன் அதன் வாசல்கள் திறக்கப்படும்; அதன் காவலர்கள் அவர்களை நோக்கி: “உங்களிலிருந்து (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதர்கள், உங்கள் இறைவனுடைய வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கிறவர்களாகவும், இந்த நாளை நீங்கள் சந்திக்க வேண்டுமென்பதைப் பற்றி உங்களை அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவர்களாகவும் உங்களிடம் வரவில்லையா?” என்று கேட்பார்கள்; (இதற்கு அவர்கள்) “ஆம் (வந்தார்கள்)” என்று கூறுவார்கள்; எனினும் காஃபிர்களுக்கு வேதனை பற்றிய வாக்கு உண்மையாகி விட்டது.

மேலும், (அந்நாளில்) நிராகரித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்களே அத்தகையோர் கூட்டங்கூட்டமாக நரகத்தின் பால் இழுத்துக்கொண்டு வரப்படுவார்கள், இறுதியாக அங்கு அவர்கள் வந்தடைந்தால் அதன் வாயில்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டுவிடும், அதன் காவலாளர்கள் அவர்களிடம், “உங்களிலிருந்து (அல்லாஹ்வினால் அனுப்பப்பட்ட) தூதர்கள், உங்கள் இரட்சகனுடைய வசனங்களை அவர்கள் உங்களுக்கு ஓதிக்காண்பிப்பவர்களாகவும், இந்த உங்களுடைய நாளின் சந்திப்பைப்பற்றி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவர்களாகவும் உங்களிடம் வரவில்லையா?” என்றும் கேட்பார்கள். அ(தற்க)வர்கள், “ஆம் (வந்தார்கள்). எனினும், நிராகரிப்போரின் மீது வேதனை பற்றிய வாக்கு உறுதியாகி விட்டது” என்றே கூறுவார்கள்.

Those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups, until when they reach it, its gates will be opened and its keepers will say to them, “Did there not come to you messengers from among you, reciting the verses of your Lord and warning you of your meeting of this Day?” They will say, “Yes indeed, but the decree of punishment has come to pass against the disbelievers.”

Qeela odkhuloo abwaba jahannama khalideena feeha fabisa mathwa almutakabbireena

It will be said (to them): "Enter you the gates of Hell, to abide therein. And (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant!"

[To them] it will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant."

ஆகவே, "நரகத்தின் வாயில்களில் நீங்கள் நுழைந்து விடுங்கள். என்றென்றுமே நீங்கள் அதில் தங்கிவிடுங்கள்" என்று கூறப்படும். ஆகவே, கர்வம்கொண்ட இவர்கள் தங்குமிடம் மகா கெட்டது.

“நரகத்தின் வாயில்களுள் நுழைந்து விடுங்கள்; என்றென்றும் அதில் தங்கிவிடுங்கள்” என்று (அவர்களுக்குக்) கூறப்படும்; பெருமை அடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தோருடைய தங்குமிடம் மிகவும் கெட்டது.

(ஆகவே) “நரகவாயில்களில்_அவற்றில் நிரந்தரமானவர்களாகத் தங்கியிருக்கும் நிலையில் நீங்கள் நுழைந்து விடுங்கள்” என்று கூறப்படும், ஆகவே, பெருமையடித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தவர்களின் தங்குமிடம் மிகக் கெட்டது.

It will be said, “Enter the gates of Hell, abiding therein forever.” What a terrible abode for the arrogant!

Waseeqa allatheena ittaqaw rabbahum ila aljannati zumaran hatta itha jaooha wafutihat abwabuha waqala lahum khazanatuha salamun AAalaykum tibtum faodkhulooha khalideena

And those who kept their duty to their Lord (Al-Muttaqûn) will be led to Paradise in groups till when they reach it, and its gates will be opened (before their arrival for their reception) and its keepers will say: Salâmun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you)! You have done well, so enter here to abide therein forever."

But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, "Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein," [they will enter].

எவர்கள் தங்கள் இறைவனுக்குப் பயந்து நடந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அவர்கள், (அந்நாளில் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாகச் சுவர்க்கத்தின் பக்கம் அழைத்து வரப்படுவார்கள். அதன் சமீபமாக அவர்கள் வரும் சமயத்தில், அதன் வாயில்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டு, அதன் காவலாளர்கள் அவர்களை நோக்கி, "உங்களுக்கு சாந்தியும் சமாதானமும், உண்டாவதாகுக! நீங்கள் பாக்கியவான்களாகி விட்டீர்கள். நீங்கள் இதில் நுழைந்து, என்றென்றும் இதில் தங்கி விடுங்கள்" என்று கூறுவார்கள்.

எவர் தம் இறைவனுக்கு பயபக்தியுடன் நடந்து கொண்டார்களோ அவர்கள் கூட்டங்கூட்டமாக சுவர்க்கத்தின்பால் கொண்டு வரப்படுவார்கள்; அங்கு அவர்கள் வந்ததும், அதன் வாசல்கள் திறக்கப்படும்; அதன் காவலர்கள் அவர்களை நோக்கி: “உங்கள் மீது சாந்தி உண்டாகட்டும், நீங்கள் மணம் பெற்றவர்கள்; எனவே அதில் பிரவேசியுங்கள்; என்றென்றும் அதில் தங்கிவிடுங்கள்” (என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறப்படும்).

தங்கள் இரட்சகனுக்குப் பயந்து (நடந்து) கொண்டிருந்தார்களே அத்தகையோர், (அந் நாளில்) கூட்டங் கூட்டமாகச் சுவர்க்கத்தின் பால் அழைத்துக்கொண்டு)ம் வரப்படுவார்கள். இறுதியாக அதன் வாயில்கள் (அவர்கள் வரும் முன்பே) திறக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் நிலையில் அங்கு அவர்கள் வந்தடைந்து விட்டால் (மகிழ்ச்சியடைவார்கள்), மேலும், அதன் காவலாளர்கள் அவர்களிடம் “உங்களுக்கு சாந்தி உண்டாவதாக! நீங்கள் நல்லவர்களாகி விட்டீர்கள் ஆகவே, நீங்கள் இதில் நிரந்தரமானவர்களாகத் தங்கியிருக்கும் நிலையில் நுழைந்து விடுங்கள்” என்று கூறுவார்கள்.

But those who feared their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, until when they reach it, its gates will be wide open, and its keepers will say to them, “Peace be upon you. You have done well, so enter it, abiding forever.”

Waqaloo alhamdu lillahi allathee sadaqana waAAdahu waawrathana alarda natabawwao mina aljannati haythu nashao faniAAma ajru alAAamileena

And they will say: "All praise and thanks are Allâh's Who has fulfilled His Promise to us and has made us inherit (this) land. We can dwell in Paradise where we will; how excellent a reward for the (pious, good) workers!"

And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us inherit the earth [so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers."

அதற்கவர்கள், "புகழ் அனைத்தும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்குரியனவே! அவன் தன்னுடைய வாக்குறுதியை எங்களுக்கு உண்மையாக்கி வைத்தான். சுவனபதியில் நாங்கள் விரும்பிய இடமெல்லாம் சென்றிருக்க அதன் பூமியை எங்களுக்குச் சொந்தமாக்கி வைத்தான்" என்று கூறுவார்கள். நன்மை செய்தவர்களின் கூலி இவ்வாறு நன்மையாகவே முடியும்.

அதற்கு (சுவர்க்கவாசிகள்): “அல்ஹம்து லில்லாஹ்! அவன் தன் வாக்குறுதியை எங்களுக்கு உண்மையாக்கி வைத்து, சுவர்க்கத்தில் நாம் விரும்பும் இடமெல்லாம் சென்றிருக்க (அப்) பூமியை எங்களுக்கு உரிமையாக்கி வைத்தான்” என்று கூறுவார்கள். எனவே நன்மை செய்தோரின் கூலி (இவ்வாறு) நன்மையாகவே இருக்கிறது.

அ(தற்க)வர்கள், “புகழனைத்தும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது! அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், தன்னுடைய வாக்குறுதியை எங்களுக்கு உண்மையாக்கி வைத்தான், சுவனபதியில் நாங்கள் நாடிய இடத்தில் நாங்கள் குடியிருக்க (அதன்) பூமியை எங்களுக்கு அனந்தரமாக்கியும் கொடுத்தான்” என்றும் கூறுவார்கள், எனவே நன்மைசெய்தோர்களின் கூலி, (இவ்வாறு) மிக நல்லதாகவே இருக்கிறது.

They will say, “All praise be to Allah Who has fulfilled His promise to us, and made us inherit the land to dwell wherever we please in Paradise.” How excellent is the reward of those who do [good]!

Watara almalaikata haffeena min hawli alAAarshi yusabbihoona bihamdi rabbihim waqudiya baynahum bialhaqqi waqeela alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena

And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne (of Allâh) from all round, glorifying the praises of their Lord (Allâh). And they (all the creatures) will be judged with truth. And it will be said, "All praise and thanks are Allâh's, the Lord of the 'آlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)."

And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, exalting [Allah] with praise of their Lord. And it will be judged between them in truth, and it will be said, "[All] praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds."

(நபியே! அந்நாளில்) மலக்குகள் தங்கள் இறைவனைப் புகழ்ந்து, துதி செய்தவண்ணம் "அர்ஷை" சூழ்ந்து நிற்பதை நீங்கள் காண்பீர்கள். அச்சமயம் அவர்களுக்கிடையில் நியாயமாகவே தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்பட்டு, "அகிலத்தார் அனைவரின் இறைவனான அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே எல்லா புகழும் சொந்தமானது" என்று (அனைவராலும் துதி செய்து) புகழ்ந்து கூறப்படும்.

இன்னும், மலக்குகள் தங்கள் இறைவனைப் புகழ்ந்து தஸ்பீஹு செய்த வண்ணம் அர்ஷை சூழந்து நிற்பதை நீர் காண்பீர்; அப்பொழுது, அவர்களுக்கிடையே சத்தியத்தை கொண்டு தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்படும். “அகிலங்களுக்கெல்லாம் இறைவனாகிய அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே புகழனைத்தும்” என்று (யாவராலும்) கூறப்படும்.

மேலும், “அர்ஷை” சுற்றிச் சூழ்ந்தவர்களாக மலக்குகளை (நபியே! அந்நாளில்) நீர் காண்பீர், அவர்கள் தங்கள் இரட்சகனின் புகழைக் கொண்டு துதித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள், (சிலரை சுவனத்திற்கும், பலரை நரகத்திற்கும் செல்லுமாறு கட்டளையிட்டு) அவர்களுக்கிடையில் நியாயமாகவே தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்படும். “அகிலத்தார்க்கெல்லாம் இரட்சகனாகிய அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே புகழ் அனைத்தும் உரியவை” என்று கூறப்படும்.

You will see the angels surrounding the Throne, glorifying their Lord with His praise, and matters will be settled between them with justice, and it will be said: All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.”
