32 - as-Sajdah (Prostration)

Alif-Lâm-Mîm.[These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings.]

Alif, Lam, Meem.

அலிஃப்; லாம்; மீம்.

அலிஃப், லாம், மீம்.

அலிஃப் லாம் மீம்.

Alif Lām Mīm.

Tanzeelu alkitabi la rayba feehi min rabbi alAAalameena

The revelation of the Book (this Qur'ân) in which there is no doubt, is from the Lord of the 'آlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)!

[This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds.

(நபியே! உங்கள்மீது) அருளப்பட்ட இவ்வேதம் உலகத்தாரின் இறைவனிடமிருந்தே வந்ததென்பதில் யாதொரு சந்தேகமுமில்லை.

அகிலங்களின் இறைவனிடம் இருந்து அருளப்பட்டுள்ளது - இவ்வேதம் என்பதில் சந்தேகமில்லை.

(நபியே! உம்மீது) அகிலத்தாரின் இரட்சகனிடமிருந்து (இவ்) வேதம் இறக்கியருளப்பட்டது, அதில் யாதொரு சந்தேகமுமில்லை.

The revelation of the Book, about which there is no doubt, is from the Lord of the worlds.

Am yaqooloona iftarahu bal huwa alhaqqu min rabbika litunthira qawman ma atahum min natheerin min qablika laAAallahum yahtadoona

Or say they: "He (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) has fabricated it?" Nay, it is the truth from your Lord, so that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), in order that they may be guided.

Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Muhammad], that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you [so] perhaps they will be guided.

(நமது நபி) "இதனை(த் தாமாகவே) கற்பனை செய்து கொண்டார்" என்று (உங்களைப் பற்றி) அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனரா? அவ்வாறன்று. இது உங்களது இறைவனால் உங்களுக்கு அருளப்பட்ட உண்மையான வேதமாகும். உங்களுக்கு முன்னர் இதுவரையில் யாதொரு தூதருமே வராதிருந்த (இந்த அரபி) மக்களுக்கு நீங்கள் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காகவே (இவ்வேதம் அருளப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனைப் பின்பற்றி) அவர்கள் நேரான வழியில் செல்வார்களாக!

ஆயினும் அவர்கள் “இவர் இதை இட்டுக்கட்டிக் (கற்பனை செய்து) கொண்டார்” என்று (உம்மைப் பற்றிக்) கூறுகிறார்களா? அவ்வாறல்ல, எவர்களுக்கு உமக்கு முன் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பவர் வந்ததில்லையோ, அந்த சமூகத்தாருக்கு, அவர்கள் நேர்வழியில் செல்லும் பொருட்டு நீர் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காக உம்முடைய இறைவனிடமிருந்து வந்துள்ள உண்மை(வேதமாகும்).

மாறாக, “இதனை(த் தாமாகவே) கற்பனை செய்துகொண்டார்” என்று (உம்மைப்பற்றி) அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றார்களா? அவ்வாறல்ல! எவர்களுக்கு உமக்கு முன்னர் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவர் வரவில்லையோ, அந்த சமூகத்தினருக்கு அவர்கள் நேர்வழி பெறுவதற்காக நீர் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காக அது உம்முடைய இரட்சகனிடமிருந்து (அருளப்பட்ட) உண்மையா(ன வேதமா)கும்.

Or do they say, “He has fabricated it.”? No, it is the truth from your Lord so that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, in order that they may be guided.

Allahu allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda wama baynahuma fee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa AAala alAAarshi ma lakum min doonihi min waliyyin wala shafeeAAin afala tatathakkaroona

Allâh it is He Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them in six Days. Then He rose over (Istawâ) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). You (mankind) have none, besides Him, as a Walî (protector or helper) or an intercessor. Will you not then remember (or receive admonition)?

It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded?

அல்லாஹ்தான் வானங்களையும், பூமியையும், இவைகளுக்கு மத்தியில் உள்ளவைகளையும் ஆறே நாள்களில் படைத்து அர்ஷின் மீது (தன் மகிமைக்குத் தக்கவாறு) உயர்ந்துவிட்டான். (உங்களை) பாதுகாப்பவனோ அல்லது (உங்களுக்குப்) பரிந்து பேசுபவனோ அவனைத் தவிர (வேறொருவரும்) உங்களுக்கு இல்லை. (இதனை அறிந்து) நீங்கள் நல்லுணர்ச்சி பெறவேண்டாமா?

அல்லாஹ் தான் வானங்களையும், பூமியையும், இவ்விரண்டிற்கும் இடையிலிருப்பவற்றையும் ஆறு நாட்களில் படைத்துப்பின் அர்ஷின் மீது அமைந்தான்; அவனையன்றி உங்களுக்கு உதவியாளரோ, பரிந்து பேசுபவரோ இல்லை. எனவே (இவற்றையெல்லாம்) நீங்கள் (நினைத்து) சிந்திக்க வேண்டாமா?

அல்லாஹ் எத்தகையவனென்றால், வானங்களையும், பூமியையும், இவையிரண்டிற்கு மத்தியிலுள்ளவைகளையும் ஆறு நாட்களில் அவன் படைத்தான், பின்னர் (தன் கண்ணியத்திற்குத் தக்கவாறும் மகத்துவத்திற்குரியவாறும் அர்ஷின் மீதிருப்பது எவ்வாறு தகுமோ அவ்வாறே) அர்ஷின் மீது உயர்ந்து (நிலைபெற்று) விட்டான், அவனைத்தவிர உங்களுக்குப் பாதுகாவலனோ, அல்லது (உங்களுக்குப்) பரிந்து பேசுபவனோ (வேறொருவரும்) இல்லை, (இதனை) நீங்கள் சிந்திக்கமாட்டீர்களா?

It is Allah Who created the heavens and earth and all that is between them in six Days, then rose over the Throne. You have no protector or intercessor other than Him. Will you not then take heed?

Yudabbiru alamra mina alssamai ila alardi thumma yaAAruju ilayhi fee yawmin kana miqdaruhu alfa sanatin mimma taAAuddoona

He manages and regulates (every) affair from the heavens to the earth; then it (affair) will go up to Him, in one Day, the space whereof is a thousand years of your reckoning (i.e. reckoning of our present world's time).

He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.

வானத்திலிருந்து பூமி வரையிலுமுள்ள எல்லா காரியங்களையும் அவனே ஒழுங்கு படுத்துகின்றான். (ஒவ்வொன்றின் முடிவும்) ஒரு நாளன்று அவனிடமே சென்றுவிடும். அந்த (ஒரு) நாள் நீங்கள் எண்ணுகின்ற உங்கள் கணக்கின்படி ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்குச் சமமாகும்.

வானத்திலிருந்து பூமி வரையிலுமுள்ள காரியத்தை அவனே ஒழுங்குபடுத்துகிறான்; ஒரு நாள் (ஒவ்வொரு காரியமும்) அவனிடமே மேலேறிச் செல்லும், அந்த (நாளின்) அளவு நீங்கள் கணக்கிடக்கூடிய ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளாகும்.

வானத்திலிருந்து பூமிவரை உள்ள காரியத்தை அவன் நிர்வகிக்கின்றான், பின்னர் (நிர்வகிக்கப்பட்ட காரியமான) அது நீங்கள் எண்ணுகின்ற (உங்கள்) கணக்கின்படி ஆயிரம் வருடங்களாக அதனுடைய அளவு இருக்கும் (அந்)நாளில் அவன் பக்கம் உயரும்.

He manages every matter from the heaven to the earth, then everything ascends to Him on a Day the length of which is a thousand years by your reckoning.

Thalika AAalimu alghaybi waalshshahadati alAAazeezu alrraheemu

That is He, the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,

அவனே (வானம் பூமியிலுள்ள) மறைவானதையும் வெளிப்படையானதையும் (உள்ளது உள்ளபடி) நன்கறிந்தவன். அன்றி, (அனைத்தையும்) மிகைத்தவனும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

அவனே மறைவானதையும், வெளிப்படையானதையும் நன்கு அறிந்தவன்; (அன்றியும் அவனே யாவற்றையும்) மிகைத்தவன்; அன்புடையோன்.

(மேற் கூறப்பட்ட தகுதிகளுக்குரிய) அவனே (வானம் பூமியிலுள்ள) மறைவானதையும், வெளிப்படையானதையும் நன்கு அறிந்தவன், (அன்றி யாவற்றையும், அவனே மிகைத்தோன், பெருங்கிருபையுடையவன்.

Such is the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful,

Allathee ahsana kulla shayin khalaqahu wabadaa khalqa alinsani min teenin

Who made everything He has created good and He began the creation of man from clay.

Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.

அவனே ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் (படைத்து) அவற்றின் கோலத்தையும் மிக்க அழகாக அமைத்தான். ஆரம்பத்தில் மனிதனை களிமண்ணைக் கொண்டே படைத்தான்.

அவனே தான் படைத்துள்ள ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் அழகாக்கினான்; இன்னும், அவன் மனிதனின் படைப்பைக் களி மண்ணிலிருந்து ஆரம்பித்தான்.

(அவன்) எத்தகையவனென்றால், எதனை அவன் படைத்தானோ அந்த ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும், (அதன் வடிவமைப்பையும்) மிக்க அழகாக்கி வைத்தான், மேலும், அவன் மனிதனின் படைப்பைக் களிமண்ணிலிருந்து ஆரம்பித்தான்.

Who perfected everything He created, and initiated the creation of man from clay.

Thumma jaAAala naslahu min sulalatin min main maheenin

Then He made his offspring from semen of despised water (male and female sexual discharge).

Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained.

பின்னர், ஓர் அற்பத் துளியாகிய (இந்திரியச்) சத்திலிருந்து அவனுடைய சந்ததியை படைக்கின்றான்.

பிறகு (நழுவும்) அற்பத் துளியாகிய (இந்திரிய) சத்திலிருந்து, அவனுடைய சந்ததியை உண்டாக்கினான்.

பின்னர் வடிகட்டி எடுக்கப்பட்ட அற்ப நீரில் (_இந்திரியத்தில்) இருந்து அவனுடைய சந்ததியை (உருவகித்து) உண்டாக்கினான்.

Then He made his progeny from the extract of a worthless fluid.

Thumma sawwahu wanafakha feehi min roohihi wajaAAala lakumu alssamAAa waalabsara waalafidata qaleelan ma tashkuroona

Then He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him the soul (created by Allâh for that person); and He gave you hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and hearts. Little is the thanks you give!

Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.

பின்னர், (படைப்பாகிய) அதனைச் செப்பனிட்டுத் தன்னுடைய "ரூஹை" அதில் புகுத்தி (உங்களை உற்பத்தி செய்கிறான்.) உங்களுக்குக் காதுகள், கண்கள், உள்ளங்கள் ஆகியவற்றையும் அவனே அமைக்கிறான். இவ்வாறு இருந்தும் உங்களில் நன்றி செலுத்துபவர்கள் வெகு சிலரே!

பிறகு அவன் அதைச் சரி செய்து, அதனுள்ளே தன் ரூஹிலிருந்தும் ஊதினான் - இன்னும் உங்களுக்கு அவன் செவிப்புலனையும், பார்வைப் புலன்களையும், இருதயங்களையும் அமைத்தான்; (இருப்பினும்) நீங்கள் நன்றி செலுத்துவது மிகச் சொற்பமேயாகும்.

பின்னர், அதனைச் சரியாக உருவாக்கி, தன்னுடைய “ரூஹ்” (ஆன்மா)விலிருந்து அதில் ஊதி (மனிதனை உண்டாக்கி)னான், இன்னும் உங்களுக்குச் செவிப்புலனையும், பார்வை(ப்புலன்)களையும், இதயங்களையும் அவனே அமைத்தான். (இவ்வாறிருந்தும்) நீங்கள் மிகக்குறைவாகவே நன்றி செலுத்துகிறீர்கள்.

Then He fashioned him and breathed into him of His [created] soul. He granted you hearing, sight and intellect; yet little it is that you give thanks.

Waqaloo aitha dalalna fee alardi ainna lafee khalqin jadeedin bal hum biliqai rabbihim kafiroona

And they say: "When we are (dead and become) lost in the earth, shall we indeed be created anew?" Nay, but they deny the Meeting with their Lord!

And they say, "When we are lost within the earth, will we indeed be [recreated] in a new creation?" Rather, they are, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, disbelievers.

"(நாங்கள் இறந்து) பூமியில் அழிந்து போனதன் பின்னர் மெய்யாகவே நாங்கள் புதிய படைப்பாக அமைக்கப்பட்டு விடுவோமா?" என்று அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர். (இதனால்) அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய இறைவனைச் சந்திப்பதையும் நிராகரிக்கின்றனர்.

“நாம் பூமியில் அழிந்து போய் விடுவோமாயின் மெய்யாகவே நாங்கள் புதிய படைப்பாவோமா?” எனவும் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்; ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் தங்கள் இறைவனைச் சந்திப்பதையே நிராகரிப்போராய் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

“(நாங்கள் இறந்து) பூமியில் மறைந்து (அழிந்து) போன பின்னர், நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் புதிய படைப்பில் ஆவோமோ?” என்று அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர். அ(வ்வாற)ல்ல! அவர்கள் தங்கள் இரட்சகனின் சந்திப்பையே நிராகரிப்போராக இருக்கின்றனர்.

They say, “What! Is it that when we are disintegrated into the earth, will we then be created anew?” Rather, they deny the meeting with their Lord.

Qul yatawaffakum malaku almawti allathee wukkila bikum thumma ila rabbikum turjaAAoona

Say: "The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls. Then you shall be brought to your Lord."

Say, "The angel of death will take you who has been entrusted with you. Then to your Lord you will be returned."

ஆகவே, (நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "உங்கள் மீது (உங்கள் இறைவனால்) சாட்டப்பட்டிருக்கும் "மலக்குல் மவ்த்து" (என்ற மலக்குத்)தான் உங்களுடைய உயிரைக் கைப்பற்றுகின்றார். பின்னர், உங்கள் இறைவனிடமே நீங்கள் கொண்டு வரப்படுவீர்கள்."

“உங்கள் மீது நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும், “மலக்குல் மவ்து” தாம் உங்கள் உயிரைக் கைப்பற்றுவார் - பின்னர் நீங்கள் உங்கள் இறைவனிடம் மீள்விக்கப்படுவீர்கள்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.  

ஆகவே (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக: உங்களுக்கென நியமனம் செய்யப்பட்டிருக்கும் மலக்குல் மவ்த் (ஆகிய வானவர் தான்) உங்களுடைய உயிரைக் கைப்பற்றுவார், பின்னர் (மீண்டும் உயிர்க்கொடுக்கப்பட்டு), உங்கள் இரட்சகனிடமே நீங்கள் திருப்பிக்கொண்டு வரப்படுவீர்கள்.

Say, “The angel of death, who is in charge of you, will take your souls, then to your Lord you will be brought back.”

Walaw tara ithi almujrimoona nakisoo ruoosihim AAinda rabbihim rabbana absarna wasamiAAna faarjiAAna naAAmal salihan inna mooqinoona

And if you only could see when the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) shall hang their heads before their Lord (saying): "Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world) that we will do righteous good deeds. Verily, we now believe with certainty."

If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain."

(நபியே! விசாரணைக்காக) இக்குற்றவாளிகள் தங்கள் இறைவன் முன் (நிறுத்தப்படும் சமயத்தில்) தலை குனிந்தவர்களாக "எங்கள் இறைவனே! எங்களுடைய கண்களும் காதுகளும் திறந்து கொண்டன. (நாங்கள் அனைத்தையும் பார்த்தும் கேட்டும் தெரிந்தும் கொண்டோம். முந்திய உலகிற்கு ஒரு தடவை) எங்களை திரும்ப அனுப்பி வை. நாங்கள் நற்செயல்களையே செய்வோம். நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் (இந்த விசாரணை நாளை) உறுதியாக நம்புகிறோம்" என்றும் கூறுவதை நீங்கள் காண்பீராயின் (அவர்களுடைய நிலைமை எவ்வளவு கேவலமாயிருக்கும் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்வீர்கள்.)

மேலும், இக்குற்றவாளிகள் தம் இறைவன் முன் தலைகுனிந்தவர்களாய், “எங்கள் இறைவா! நாங்கள் (இப்பொழுது) பார்த்துக் கொண்டோம், கேட்டும் கொண்டோம் - ஆகவே, நீ (உலகுக்கு) எங்களைத் திருப்பி அனுப்பிவை; நாங்கள் நற்கருமங்களையே செய்வோம். நிச்சயமாய் நாங்கள் (நம்பிக்கையில்) உறுதியுள்ளவர்களாக ஆகிவிட்டோம்” என்று சொல்லும்போது (நபியே!) நீர் பார்ப்பீராயின் (அவர்களுடைய நிலையை நீர் அறிந்து கொள்வீர்).

மேலும், இக்குற்றவாளிகள் தங்கள் இரட்சகனிடத்தில் அவர்கள் தலைகுனிந்தவர்களாக, “எங்கள் இரட்சகனே! (இது சமயம்) நாங்கள் (எதைப் பொய்ப்படுத்தினோமோ அதைப்) பார்த்துக்கொண்டோம்; இன்னும், கேட்டுக்கொண்டோம். ஆகவே (உலகிற்கு ஒரு தடவை) எங்களைத் திருப்பி அனுப்பிவை! நாங்கள் நற்செயல்களைச் செய்வோம் நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் (இந்த நாளை) உறுதி கொண்டவர்களாக ஆகிவிட்டோம்.” (என்று பிரார்த்திப்பதை நீர் காண்பீர்).

If only you could see the wicked lowering their heads before their Lord, “Our Lord, we have now seen and heard. Send us back; we will do righteous deeds. Now we truly have faith.”

Walaw shina laatayna kulla nafsin hudaha walakin haqqa alqawlu minnee laamlaanna jahannama mina aljinnati waalnnasi ajmaAAeena

And if We had willed, surely We would have given every person his guidance, but the Word from Me took effect (about evildoers), that I will fill Hell with jinn and mankind together.

And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.

நாம் விரும்பியிருந்தால் (இவர்களில் உள்ள) ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனுக்கும், அவன் நேரான வழியில் செல்லக்கூடிய வசதியைக் கொடுத்திருப்போம். எனினும், ஜின்களையும் மனிதர்(களில் உள்ள பாவி)களையும் கொண்டு நிச்சயமாக நரகத்தை நிரப்புவோம் என்ற நம்முடைய தீர்ப்பு (முன்னரே) ஏற்பட்டுவிட்டது.

மேலும் நாம் நாடியிருந்தால், ஒவ்வோர் ஆத்மாவுக்கும் அதற்குரிய நேர்வழியை நாம் கொடுத்திருப்போம்; ஆனால் “நான் நிச்சயமாக நரகத்தை - ஜின்களையும், (தீய) மனிதர்களையும் - ஆகிய யாவரையும் கொண்டு நிரப்புவேன்” என்று என்னிடமிருந்து (முன்னரே) வாக்கு வந்துள்ளது.

மேலும், நாம் நாடியிருந்தால், (இவர்களில் உள்ள) ஒவ்வோர் ஆத்மாவிற்கும், அதற்குரிய நேர் வழியை நாம் கொடுத்திருப்போம், எனினும் ஜின்களாலும், மனிதர் (களில் உள்ள குற்றவாளி)கள் யாவராலும் நிச்சயமாக நான் நரகத்தை நிரப்புவேன்” என்று என்னிடமிருந்து வாக்கு (முன்னரே) ஏற்பட்டுவிட்டது.

If We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but My Word will be fulfilled: “I will certainly fill up Hell with jinn and men all together.”

Fathooqoo bima naseetum liqaa yawmikum hatha inna naseenakum wathooqoo AAathaba alkhuldi bima kuntum taAAmaloona

Then taste you (the torment of the Fire) because of your forgetting the Meeting of this Day of yours. Surely, We too will forget you, so taste you the abiding torment for what you used to do.

So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do."

ஆகவே "(நம்மைச்) சந்திக்கும் இந்நாளை நீங்கள் மறந்துவிட்டதன் பலனை நீங்கள் சுவைத்துக் கொண்டிருங்கள். (இந்நாளை நீங்கள் மறந்தவாறே) நிச்சயமாக நாமும் உங்களை மறந்துவிட்டோம். நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த (தீய) செயலின் காரணமாக என்றென்றும் நிலையான இந்த வேதனையை அனுபவித்துக் கொண்டிருங்கள்" (என்றும் கூறப்படும்).

ஆகவே, உங்களுடைய இந்த நாளின் சந்திப்பை நீங்கள் மறந்திருந்ததின் (பலனை) அனுபவியுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக நாமும் உங்களை மறந்து விட்டோம்; மேலும் நீங்கள் செய்த (தீ) வினையின் பயனாக என்றென்றும் நிலையான வேதனையை அனுபவியுங்கள்” (என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்படும்).

“ஆகவே, உங்களுடைய இந்நாளின் சந்திப்பை நீங்கள் மறந்து விட்டதனால் (வேதனையை), நீங்கள் சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள், (இந்நாளை நீங்கள் மறந்தவாறே,) நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களை மறந்துவிட்டோம், மேலும், நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த (தீ) வினையின் காரணமாக, (என்றென்றும்) நிலையான வேதனையைச் சுவைத்துக் கொண்டிருங்கள்” (என்றும் கூறப்படும்).

So taste [the punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours. We too will forgot you. Taste the eternal punishment for what you used to do.”

Innama yuminu biayatina allatheena itha thukkiroo biha kharroo sujjadan wasabbahoo bihamdi rabbihim wahum la yastakbiroona

Only those believe in Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate, and glorify the Praises of their Lord, and they are not proud.

Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.

நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால், எவர்கள் (பூமியில்) சிரம் பணிந்து தங்கள் இறைவனைப் புகழ்ந்து துதி செய்கின்றார்களோ அவர்கள்தாம் நம்முடைய வசனங்களை மெய்யாகவே நம்பிக்கை கொள்வார்கள். அவர்கள் கர்வம்கொண்டு பெருமையடிக்கவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

நம் வசனங்களின் மேல் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோர் யாரென்றால் அவர்கள், அவற்றின் மூலம் நினைவூட்டப்பட்டால், அவர்கள் விழுந்து ஸுஜூது செய்தவர்களாய்த் தம் இறைவனைப் புகழ்ந்து, துதிப்பார்கள்; அவர்கள் பெருமை அடிக்கவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

நம்முடைய வசனங்களைக் கொண்டு விசுவாசிப்பவர்களெல்லாம், அவற்றைக் கொண்டு நினைவூட்டப்பட்டால் சிரம் பணிந்தவர்களாக விழுவார்களே அத்தகையோர் தாம். மேலும், தங்கள் இரட்சகனின் புகழைக்கொண்டு துதிசெய்வார்கள். அவர்களோ பெருமையடிக்கமாட்டார்கள்.

The true believers in Our verses are only those who, when they are reminded of them, fall in prostration and glorify their Lord with praise, and they do not show arrogance.

Tatajafa junoobuhum AAani almadajiAAi yadAAoona rabbahum khawfan watamaAAan wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona

Their sides forsake their beds, to invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend (in charity in Allâh's Cause) out of what We have bestowed on them.

They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend.

அவர்கள் (நித்திரையில் ஆழ்ந்திருக்கும் போது) படுக்கையிலிருந்து தங்கள் விலாக்களை உயர்த்தியும், தங்கள் இறைவனிடம் நம்பிக்கை வைத்தும், பயந்தும் (அவனைப்) பிரார்த்தனை செய்வார்கள். நாம் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தவற்றிலிருந்து தானமும் செய்வார்கள்.

அவர்களுடைய விலாக்களைப் படுக்கைகளிலிருந்து (தூக்கத்தைத் துறந்து) உயர்த்தி அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய இறைவனை அச்சத்தோடும் நம்பிக்கை ஆர்வத்தோடும் பிரார்த்தனை செய்வார்கள்; மேலும் நாம் அவர்களுக்கு அளித்ததிலிருந்து (தானதர்மங்களில்) செலவும் செய்வார்கள்.

அவர்களின் விலாக்கள் படுக்கைகளை விட்டு (தூக்கத்திலிருந்து) விலகிவிடும், தங்களுடைய இரட்சகனை அச்சத்தோடும், ஆதரவோடும் அழை(த்து பிரார்த்தி)ப்பார்கள், நாம் அவர்களுக்கு கொடுத்தவற்றிலிருந்து அவர்கள் தர்மமாகச் செலவும் செய்வார்கள்.

They forsake their beds, supplicating their Lord with fear and hope, and spend out of what We have provided for them.

Fala taAAlamu nafsun ma okhfiya lahum min qurrati aAAyunin jazaan bima kanoo yaAAmaloona

No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do.

And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.

அவர்கள் செய்த (நற்)காரியங்களுக்குக் கூலியாக நாம் அவர்களுக்காக (தயார்படுத்தி) மறைத்து வைத்திருக்கும் கண் குளிரக்கூடிய (சன்மானத்)தை எவராலும் அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியாது. (அவ்வளவு மேலான சன்மானங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு தயார் படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.)

அவர்கள் செய்த (நற்) கருமங்களுக்குக் கூலியாக மறைத்து வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள கண் குளிர்ச்சியை (மறுமையின் பேரின்பத்தை) எந்த ஓர் ஆன்மாவும் அறிந்து கொள்ள முடியாது.

ஆகவே, அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருதவற்றிற்க்குக் கூலியாக, அவர்களுக்காக மறைத்து வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் கண்களின் குளிர்ச்சியை எந்த ஒரு ஆத்மாவும் அறியாது.

No soul knows what delights are kept hidden for them as a reward for what they used to do.

Afaman kana muminan kaman kana fasiqan la yastawoona

Is then he who is a believer like him who is a Fâsiq (disbeliever and disobedient to Allâh)? Not equal are they.

Then is one who was a believer like one who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal.

நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட ஒரு மனிதன் (இறைவனுக்கு) மாறு செய்பவனைப் போலாவானா? இருவரும் சமமாக மாட்டார்கள்.

எனவே, (அத்தகைய) முஃமினானவர் (வரம்பு மீறிய) பாவியைப் போல் ஆவாரா? (இருவரும்) சமமாக மாட்டார்கள்.

விசுவாசங்கொண்டவராக இருந்தவர் (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) மாறு செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவரைப் போலாவாரா? அவர்கள் (இருவரும்) சமமாகமாட்டர்கள்.

Is one who is a believer like one who is an evildoer? They are not equal.

Amma allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati falahum jannatu almawa nuzulan bima kanoo yaAAmaloona

As for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, for them are Gardens (Paradise) of Abode as an entertainment for what they used to do.

As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do.

எவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு நற்செயல்களைச் செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் செய்யும் (நற்) செயல்களின் காரணமாக சுவனபதி தங்கும் இடமாகி அதில் விருந்தாளியாக உபசரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

எவர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான (நல்ல) அமல்களைச் செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் செய்யும் (நற்)கருமங்களின் காரணமாக சுவனபதிகள் தங்குமிடங்களாகி (அங்கு அவர்கள்) விருந்தினராய் (உபசரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்).

ஆகவே, விசுவாசங்கொண்டு நற்கருமங்களையும் செய்கிறார்களே அத்தகையோர்_ அவர்களுக்கு, அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவற்றிற்கு விருந்தாக தங்குவதற்குரிய சுவனபதிகள் உண்டு.

As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, they will have gardens to dwell in, as an accommodation for what they used to do.

Waamma allatheena fasaqoo famawahumu alnnaru kullama aradoo an yakhrujoo minha oAAeedoo feeha waqeela lahum thooqoo AAathaba alnnari allathee kuntum bihi tukaththiboona

And as for those who are Fâsiqûn (disbelievers and disobedient to Allâh), their abode will be the Fire, every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be put back thereto, and it will be said to them: "Taste you the torment of the Fire which you used to deny."

But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny."

எவர்கள் பாவம் செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகம்தான். அதிலிருந்து அவர்கள் வெளிப்பட முயற்சிக்கும் போதெல்லாம் அதனுள் இழுத்துத் தள்ளப்பட்டு "நீங்கள் பொய்யாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த நரக வேதனையைச் சுவைத்துக் கொண்டிருங்கள்" என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூறப்படும்.

ஆனால் எவர்கள் (வரம்பு மீறிப்) பாவம் செய்தார்களோ, அவர்கள் தங்குமிடம் (நரக) நெருப்புத்தான் - அவர்கள் அதை விட்டு வெளியேற நாடும் போதெல்லாம், அதிலேயே மீண்டும் தள்ளப்பட்டு: “எதனை நீங்கள் பொய்ப்பித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்களோ அந்த (நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனையை அனுபவியுங்கள்” என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்படும்.

மேலும், பாவம் செய்கிறார்களே அத்தகையோர்_அவர்கள் தங்குமிடம் (நரக) நெருப்பாகும், அதிலிருந்து அவர்கள் வெளியேற நாடும்போதெல்லாம் அதிலேயே மீட்டப்படுவார்கள், மேலும், நீங்கள் பொய்யாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்களே, அந்த (நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனையைச் சுவைத்துப்பாருங்கள்” என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூறப்படும்.

But those who are rebellious, their abode will be the Fire. Every time they try to escape from it, they will be driven back into it, and it will be said to them, “Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny.”

Walanutheeqannahum mina alAAathabi aladna doona alAAathabi alakbari laAAallahum yarjiAAoona

And verily, We will make them taste of the near torment (i.e. the torment in the life of this world, i.e. disasters, calamities) prior to the supreme torment (in the Hereafter), in order that they may (repent and) return (i.e. accept Islâm).

And we will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will repent.

அவர்கள் (பாவங்களிலிருந்து) விலகிக்கொள்வதற்காக (மறுமையில் அவர்கள்) பெரிய வேதனையை அடைவதற்கு முன்பாகவே (இம்மையில்) சிறியதொரு வேதனையை அவர்கள் சுவைக்கும்படிச் செய்வோம்.

மேலும், அவர்கள் (பாவங்களிலிருந்து) திரும்பி விடும் பொருட்டுப் பெரிய வேதனையை (மறுமையில் அவர்கள்) அடைவதற்கு முன்னதாகவே (இம்மையில்) சமீபமான ஒரு வேதனையை அவர்கள் அனுபவிக்கும்படிச் செய்வோம்.

மேலும், அவர்கள் (பாவங்களிலிருந்து) திரும்பிவிடுவதற்காக (மறுமையில் கிடைக்கவிருக்கும்) மிகப்பெரிய வேதனையின்றி (அதற்கு முன்னர்) குறைந்த (இம்மை) வேதனையிலிருந்து அவர்களை நிச்சயமாக நாம் சுவைக்கச் செய்வோம்.

We will certainly make them taste some minor punishment [in this life] prior to the greater punishment, so that they may return.

Waman athlamu mimman thukkira biayati rabbihi thumma aAArada AAanha inna mina almujrimeena muntaqimoona

And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, then turns aside therefrom? Verily, We shall exact retribution from the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners).

And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord; then he turns away from them? Indeed We, from the criminals, will take retribution.

(இவ்வாறு) இறைவனின் (எச்சரிக்கையான) அத்தாட்சியைக் கொண்டு மறுமையை ஞாபகமூட்டிய பின்னரும் இதனைப் புறக்கணித்து விடுபவனைவிட அநியாயக்காரன் யார்? நிச்சயமாக நாம் இத்தகைய குற்றவாளிகளை பழிவாங்கியே தீருவோம்.

எவன் தன்னுடைய இறைவனின் வசனங்களைக் கொண்டு நினைவு படுத்தப்பட்ட பின்னரும் அவற்றைப் புறக்கணித்து விடுகிறானோ, அவனைவிட அநியாயக்காரன் எவன் (இருக்கிறான்)? நிச்சயமாக நாம் (இத்தகைய) குற்றவாளிகளை தண்டிப்போம்.

மேலும், தன்னுடைய இரட்சகனின் வசனங்களைக் கொண்டு நினைவுபடுத்தப்பட்டு, அதன் பின்னர் அவைகளைப் புறக்கணித்து விடுகிறவனை விட மிக அநியாயக்காரன் யார்? நிச்சயமாக, நாம் (இத்தகைய) குற்றவாளிகளை (அவர்களின் முந்திய பாவத்திற்காக) தண்டிக்கக்கூடியவர்களாவோம்.

Who does greater wrong than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord, then turns away from them? We will surely take vengeance upon the wicked.

Walaqad atayna moosa alkitaba fala takun fee miryatin min liqaihi wajaAAalnahu hudan libanee israeela

And indeed We gave Mûsâ (Moses) the Scripture [the Taurât (Torah)]. So, be not you in doubt of meeting him [i.e. when you met Mûsâ (Moses) during the night of Al-Isrâ' and Al-Mi'râj over the heavens]. And We made it [the Taurât (Torah)] a guide to the Children of Israel.

And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting. And we made the Torah guidance for the Children of Israel.

நிச்சயமாக நாம் மூஸாவுக்கு ஒரு வேதத்தைக் கொடுத்து இருந்தோம். ஆகவே, (நபியே! அத்தகைய வேதம்) உங்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும் என்பதைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் சந்தேகிக்காதீர்கள். நாம் (மூஸாவுக்குக் கொடுத்த) அதனை இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகளுக்கு ஒரு வழிகாட்டியாக ஆக்கினோம்.

நிச்சயமாக நாம் மூஸாவுக்கு (அவ்) வேதத்தைக் கொடுத்தோம். எனவே, அவர் அதைப் பெற்றதைப்பற்றி சந்தேகப்படாதீர்; நாம் இதனை இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிக்கு வழிகாட்டியாகவும் ஆக்கினோம்.

நிச்சயமாக நாம், மூஸாவுக்கு (தவ்ராத்) வேதத்தையும் கொடுத்திருந்தோம். எனவே, (நபியே!) அவர் அதனைப் பெற்றதைப்பற்றி நீர் சந்தேகத்தில் ஆகிவிடவேண்டாம், நாம் (மூஸாவுக்குக் கொடுத்த) அதனை, இஸ்ராயீலின் மக்களுக்கு ஒரு வழிகாட்டியாகவும் ஆக்கினோம்.

We gave Moses the Scripture, so do not doubt about meeting him, and We made it a guide for the Children of Israel.

WajaAAalna minhum aimmatan yahdoona biamrina lamma sabaroo wakanoo biayatina yooqinoona

And We made from among them (Children of Israel), leaders, giving guidance under Our Command, when they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).

And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs.

நம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைப் பொறுமையுடன் சகித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகளில் இருந்த ஒரு கூட்டத்தினரை அவர்களுக்கு வழி காட்டிகளாக அமைத்தோம். அவர்கள் நம் வசனங்களை முற்றிலும் உறுதியுடன் நம்பியவர்களாக இருந்தனர்.

இன்னும் அவர்கள் பொறுமையுடனிருந்து, நம் வசனங்களை உறுதியாக நம்பி ஏற்றுக் கொண்ட போது, நம்முடைய கட்டளைப்படி நேர்வழி காட்டும் தலைவர்களை - இமாம்களை - அவர்களில் நின்றும் உண்டாக்கினோம்.

மேலும், அவர்கள் பொறுமையாக இருந்த பொழுது, நம்முடைய கட்டளையைக் கொண்டு நேர்வழி நடப்பவர்களான தலைவர்களையும் அவர்களிலிருந்து நாம் ஆக்கினோம், அவர்கள் நம்முடைய வசனங்களை உறுதி கொள்பவர்களாகவும் இருந்தனர்.

We made some of them leaders, guiding by Our command, because they observed patience and firmly believed in Our signs.

Inna rabbaka huwa yafsilu baynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehi yakhtalifoona

Verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection, concerning that wherein they used to differ.

Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

(நபியே! அவர்களுக்குப் பின்னர் வழிகாட்டியாக ஏற்பட்டவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டு பல பிரிவுகளாகப் பிரிந்து விட்டனர்.) இவர்கள் எவ்விஷயத்தில் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ அதனைப் பற்றி மறுமை நாளில் உங்களது இறைவன் அவர்களுக்குத் தீர்ப்பளிப்பான்.

அவர்கள் எ(வ்விஷயத்)தில் அபிப்பிராய பேதம் கொண்டார்களோ, (அதுபற்றி) கியாம நாளில் உம்முடைய இறைவன் நிச்சயமாக அவர்களுக்கிடையில் தீர்ப்புச் செய்வான்.

அவர்கள் எ(வ்விஷயத்)தில் கருத்து வேறுபாடு கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அ(வ்விஷயத்)தில், மறுமை நாளில் நிச்சயமாக உமதிரட்சகன்_அவனே அவர்களுக்குகிடையில் தீர்ப்பளிப்பான்.

Indeed, it is your Lord Who will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

Awalam yahdi lahum kam ahlakna min qablihim mina alqurooni yamshoona fee masakinihim inna fee thalika laayatin afala yasmaAAoona

Is it not a guidance for them, how many generations We have destroyed before them in whose dwellings they do walk about? Verily, therein indeed are signs. Would they not then listen?

Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, [as] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear?

இவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் எத்தனையோ வகுப்பினரை நாம் அழித்திருக்கின்றோம். அவர்கள் வசித்திருந்த இடங்களின் மீதே இவர்கள் போய் வந்து கொண்டிருப்பதும் இவர்களுக்கு நேரான வழியைக் காட்டவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக இதில் பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன. (இதற்கும்) அவர்கள் செவிசாய்க்கமாட்டார்களா?

இவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் நாம் எத்தனையோ தலைமுறையினரை அழித்திருப்பதும், அவர்கள் வசித்திருந்த இடங்களில் இவர்கள் நடந்து திரிவதும், இவர்களுக்கு நேர்வழியைக் காட்ட வில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக இதில் (தக்க) அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன. (இதற்கு) இவர்கள் செவிசாய்க்க மாட்டார்களா?

அவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் எத்தனையோ தலைமுறையினரை நாம் அழித்திருக்கின்றோம், அவர்கள் வசித்திருந்த இடங்களில் (பிரயாணித்து) இவர்கள் நடக்கிறார்கள். (இவ்வாறு அவர்களின் குடியிருப்புத்தலங்கள் பாழடைந்து கிடப்பதைப்பார்த்து) இவர்களுக்கு நேர்வழி காட்டவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக இதில் அத்தாட்சிகளிருக்கின்றன, (இதற்கு) அவர்கள் செவிசாய்க்க மாட்டார்களா?

Is it not yet clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, in whose dwellings they now walk about? Indeed, there are signs in this. Do they not then listen?

Awalam yaraw anna nasooqu almaa ila alardi aljuruzi fanukhriju bihi zarAAan takulu minhu anAAamuhum waanfusuhum afala yubsiroona

Have they not seen how We drive water to the barren land, and therewith bring forth crops providing food for their cattle and themselves? Will they not then see?

Have they not seen that We drive the water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see?

நிச்சயமாக நாமே வறண்ட பூமிகளின் பக்கம் மழையின் மேகத்தை ஓட்டி (பொழியச் செய்து) அதன் மூலம் இவர்களும், இவர்களுடைய (ஆடு, மாடு, ஒட்டகம் ஆகிய) கால்நடைகளும் புசிக்கக்கூடிய பயிர்களையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம் என்பதை அவர்கள் கவனிக்கவில்லையா? (இதனைக் கூட) அவர்கள் கவனித்துப் பார்க்க வேண்டாமா?

அவர்கள் (இதையும்) கவனிக்கவில்லையா - நிச்சயமாக நாமே வரண்ட பூமியின் பக்கம் மேகங்கள் மூலமாக தண்ணீரை ஓட்டிச் சென்று அதன் மூலம் இவர்களும் இவர்களுடைய கால் நடைகளும் உண்ணக்கூடிய பயிர்களை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறோம்; அவர்கள் (இதை ஆய்ந்து) நோட்டமிட வேண்டாமா?

நிச்சயமாக நாமே, வறண்ட பூமியின் பக்கம் மழையை இழுத்துவந்து, (பொழியச் செய்து,) பின்னர் அதன்மூலம் பயிர்களை நாம் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம், இவர்களுடைய கால்நடைகளும், இவர்களும் அதிலிருந்து உண்ணுகிறார்கள் என்பதை அவர்கள் பார்க்கவில்லையா? (இதனை) அவர்கள் பார்க்க வேண்டாமா?

Do they not see that We drive water to parched land, producing thereby crops of which their cattle and they themselves eat? Do they not then see?

Wayaqooloona mata hatha alfathu in kuntum sadiqeena

They say: "When will this Fath (Decision) be (between us and you, i.e. the Day of Resurrection), if you are telling the truth?"

And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?"

"(வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட) தீர்ப்பு நாள் எப்பொழுது வரும்? நீங்கள் உண்மை சொல்பவர்களாக இருந்தால் (அது வரும் காலத்தைக்) கூறுங்கள்" எனக் கேட்கின்றனர்.

“நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால் (வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட) அந்த வெற்றித் (தீர்ப்பு நாள்) எப்பொழுது (வரும்)?” என்று அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்.

மேலும், “(வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட) இந்த வெற்றி (நாள்) எப்பொழுது (வரும்)? நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால், (அது பற்றிக்கூறுங்கள்)” என அவர்கள் கேட்கின்றனர்.

They say, “When will this Decision be if you are truthful?”

Qul yawma alfathi la yanfaAAu allatheena kafaroo eemanuhum wala hum yuntharoona

Say: "On the Day of Al-Fath (Decision), no profit will it be to those who disbelieve if they (then) believe! Nor will they be granted a respite."

Say, [O Muhammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved."

(அதற்கு) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "அந்தத் தீர்ப்பு நாளின்போது (இந்) நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொள்வது அவர்களுக்கு (யாதொரு) பயனும் அளிக்காது. (வேதனையைத் தாமதப்படுத்த) அவர்கள் தவணையும் கொடுக்கப்படமாட்டார்கள்."

“அந்த வெற்றி(த் தீர்ப்பு) நாளின் போது நிராகரிப்போர், நம்பிக்கை கொள்வது அவர்களுக்கு பயன் அளிக்காது - அவர்களுக்குத் தவணையும் கொடுக்கப்பட மாட்டாது.

(அதற்கு) நீர் கூறுவீராக:” அந்த வெற்றி நாளின் பொழுது நிராகரிப்போர் விசுவாசங்கொள்வது, அவர்களுக்குப் பயனளிக்காது, அவர்கள் தவணை கொடுக்கப்படவுமாட்டார்கள்.

Say, “On the Day of Decision the belief of those who disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be given any respite.”

FaaAArid AAanhum waintathir innahum muntathiroona

So, turn aside from them (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) and await, verily, they (too) are awaiting.

So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting.

ஆகவே, நீங்கள் அவர்களைப் புறக்கணித்து (அந்நாளை) எதிர்பார்த்து இருங்கள். நிச்சயமாக அவர்களும் எதிர்பார்த்து இருக்கின்றனர்.

ஆகவே, நீர் அவர்களைப் புறக்கணித்து (அந்நாளை) எதிர்பார்ப்பீராக! நிச்சயமாக அவர்களும் அதை எதிர்பார்ப்பவர்கள் தாம்.

ஆகவே, நீர் அவர்களைப் புறக்கணித்து விடுவீராக! (அந்நாளை) எதிர்ப்பார்த்துமிருப்பீராக! நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் எதிர்பார்க்கிறவர்கள்தாம்!

So turn away from them and wait; they too are waiting.
