24 - an-Nur (Light)

Sooratun anzalnaha wafaradnaha waanzalna feeha ayatin bayyinatin laAAallakum tathakkaroona

(This is) a Sûrah (chapter of the Qur'ân) which We have sent down and which We have enjoined (ordained its laws), and in it We have revealed manifest Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations – lawful and unlawful things, and set boundaries of Islâmic religion) that you may remember.

[This is] a surah which We have sent down and made [that within it] obligatory and revealed therein verses of clear evidence that you might remember.

(மனிதர்களே! இது) ஓர் அத்தியாயம். இதனை நாமே இறக்கி (இதிலுள்ள சட்ட திட்டங்களை) நாமே விதித்துள்ளோம். அன்றி, இதனைக்கொண்டு நீங்கள் நல்லுணர்ச்சி பெறும் பொருட்டு தெளிவான வசனங்களையே நாம் இதில் இறக்கி வைத்தோம்.

(இது திருக்குர்ஆனின்) ஓர் அத்தியாயமாகும்; இதனை நாமே அருளச் செய்து, அதிலுள்ளவற்றை விதியாக்கினோம்; நீங்கள் நல்லுபதேசம் பெறுவதற்காக இதில் நாம் தெளிவான வசனங்களை அருள் செய்தோம்.

(இது) ஓர் அத்தியாயம், இதனை நாம் இறக்கி வைத்தோம், இதனை - இதிலுள்ள சட்டங்களை உங்கள் மீது) நாமே விதியாக்கினோம், இன்னும், (இதனைக் கொண்டு) நீங்கள் நல்லுபதேசம் பெறுவதற்காக, இதில் தெளிவான வசனங்களை நாம் இறக்கி வைத்தோம்.

[This is] a Chapter which We have sent down and ordained, and sent down in it clear commandments so that you may take heed.

Alzzaniyatu waalzzanee faijlidoo kulla wahidin minhuma miata jaldatin wala takhuthkum bihima rafatun fee deeni Allahi in kuntum tuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri walyashhad AAathabahuma taifatun mina almumineena

The fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by Allâh, if you believe in Allâh and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment. [This punishment is for unmarried persons guilty of the above crime (illegal sex), but if married persons commit it (illegal sex), the punishment is to stone them to death, according to Allâh's Law].

The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred lashes, and do not be taken by pity for them in the religion of Allah, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment.

விபச்சாரம் செய்த பெண், விபசாரம் செய்த ஆண் இவர்களில் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் நூறு கசையடிகள் அடியுங்கள். மெய்யாகவே நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையும் இறுதிநாளையும் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களாக இருந்தால், அல்லாஹ் விதித்த இக்கட்டளையை நிறைவேற்றுவதில் அவ்விருவர்களுடைய விஷயத்தில் உங்களுக்கு இரக்கம் ஏற்படக்கூடாது. அவ்விருவருக்கும் (தண்டனையாக) வேதனை கொடுக்கும் சமயத்தில் நம்பிக்கையாளர்களில் ஒரு தொகையினர் அதன் சமீபமாக இருக்கவும்.

விபசாரியும், விபசாரனும் - இவ்விருவரில் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் நூறு கசையடி அடியுங்கள்; மெய்யாகவே, நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும், இறுதி நாள் மீதும் ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களாக இருந்தால். அல்லாஹ்வின் சடடத்(தை நிறைவேற்றுவ)தில், அவ்விருவர் மீதும் உங்களுக்கு இரக்கம் ஏற்பட வேண்டாம்; இன்னும் அவ்விருவரின் வேதனையையும் முஃமின்களில் ஒரு கூட்டத்தார் (நேரில்) பார்க்கட்டும்.

(திருமணமாகாத) விபச்சாரி, விபச்சாரகன் இவ்விருவரில் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் நூறு கசையடி அடியுங்கள், நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையும், இறுதி நாளையும், விசுவாசங்கொண்டவர்களாக இருந்தால் அல்லாஹ்வின் மார்க்கத்(தில் விதிக்கப்பட்ட சட்டத்தை அமுல் செய்வ)தில் அவ்விருவருக்காக உங்களை இரக்கம் பிடித்துவிட வேண்டாம், இன்னும், அவ்விருவரின் வேதனையை விசுவாசிகளில் ஒரு சாரார் (நேரில் பிரசன்னமாகிப்) பார்க்கவும்.

As for the woman and the man who commit fornication; flog each of them a hundred lashes. Do not let pity for them make you lenient concerning the law of Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment.

Alzzanee la yankihu illa zaniyatan aw mushrikatan waalzzaniyatu la yankihuha illa zanin aw mushrikun wahurrima thalika AAala almumineena

The adulterer-fornicator marries not but an adulteress-fornicatress or a Mushrikah; and the adulteress-fornicatress, none marries her except an adulterer-fornicator or a Mushrik [and that means that the man who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a Mushrikah (female polytheist, pagan or idolatress) or a prostitute, then surely, he is either an adulterer-fornicator or a Mushrik (polytheist, pagan or idolater). And the woman who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a Mushrik (polytheist, pagan or idolater) or an adulterer-fornicator, then she is either a prostitute or a Mushrikah (female polytheist, pagan, or idolatress)]. Such a thing is forbidden to the believers (of Islâmic Monotheism).

The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator or polytheist, and none marries her except a fornicator or a polytheist, and that has been made unlawful to the believers.

(கேவலமான) ஒரு விபச்சாரன் (தன்னைப் போன்ற) ஒரு விபச்சாரியை அல்லது இணைவைத்து வணங்கும் ஒரு பெண்ணை அன்றி (மற்றெவளையும்) திருமணம் செய்துகொள்ள முடியாது. (அவ்வாறே) ஒரு விபச்சாரி (கேவலமான) ஒரு விபச்சாரனை அல்லது இணை வைத்து வணங்கும் ஓர் ஆணையன்றி (மற்றெவனையும்) திருமணம் செய்துகொள்ள முடியாது. இத்தகைய திருமணம் நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக்குத் தடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றது.

விபசாரன், விபசாரியையோ அல்லது இணை வைத்து வணங்குபவளையோ அன்றி வேறு எந்தப் பெண்ணையும் விவாகம் செய்ய மாட்டான்; விபசாரி, விபசாரனையோ அல்லது இணை வைத்து வணங்குபவனையோ அன்றி (வேறுயாரையும்) விவாகம் செய்ய மாட்டாள் - இது முஃமின்களுக்கு விலக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

விபச்சாரகன், விபச்சாரியை அல்லது இணைவைப்பவளையே தவிர (மற்றெவளையும்) மணந்து கொள்ளமாட்டான். (அவ்வாறே) விபச்சாரி – அவளை விபச்சாரகனோ, அல்லது இணை வைப்பவனோ தவிர (மற்றெவரும்) மணந்து கொள்ள மாட்டான்; மேலும், இ(த்தகையோரைத் திருமணம் செய்வ)து விசுவாசிகளுக்குத் தடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

A man who fornicates would only marry a woman who fornicates or a polytheist, and a woman who fornicates would only marry a man who fornicates or a polytheist. Such marriages are forbidden to the believers.

Waallatheena yarmoona almuhsanati thumma lam yatoo biarbaAAati shuhadaa faijlidoohum thamaneena jaldatan wala taqbaloo lahum shahadatan abadan waolaika humu alfasiqoona

And those who accuse chaste women, and produce not four witnesses, flog them with eighty stripes, and reject their testimony forever. They indeed are the Fâsiqûn (liars, rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

And those who accuse chaste women and then do not produce four witnesses - lash them with eighty lashes and do not accept from them testimony ever after. And those are the defiantly disobedient,

எவனேனும் கற்புடைய பெண்கள் மீது அவதூறு கூறி (அதற்கு வேண்டிய) நான்கு சாட்சிகளை அவன் கொண்டு வராவிட்டால் அவனை நீங்கள் எண்பது கசையடிகள் அடியுங்கள். பின்னர், அவன் கூறும் சாட்சியத்தை எக்காலத்திலும் ஒப்புக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள். (ஏனென்றால்) நிச்சயமாக இத்தகையவர்கள் பெரும் பாவிகள்.

எவர்கள் கற்புள்ள பெண்கள் மீது அவதூறு கூறி (அதை நிரூபிக்க) நான்கு சாட்சிகளைக் கொண்டு வரவில்லையோ, அவர்களை நீங்கள் எண்பது கசையடி அடியுங்கள்; பின்னர் அவர்களது சாட்சியத்தை எக்காலத்திலும் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள் - நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள்தான் தீயவர்கள்.

மேலும், பத்தினிப்பெண்களை அவதூறு கூறி (அதன்) பிறகு (அதற்குரிய) நான்கு சாட்சிகளை அவர்கள் கொண்டு வரவில்லையே அத்தகையோர் - அப்போது அவர்களை நீங்கள் எண்பது கசையடி அடியுங்கள், மேலும், அவர்களின் சாட்சியத்தை ஒருபோதும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாதீர்கள், இன்னும் அத்தகையோர் பாவிகளாவர்.

As for those who accuse chaste women [of adultery] but fail to produce four witnesses, flog them eighty lashes and do not accept their testimony ever, for it is they who are the rebellious,

Illa allatheena taboo min baAAdi thalika waaslahoo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

Except those who repent thereafter and do righteous deeds; (for such) verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Except for those who repent thereafter and reform, for indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

ஆயினும், (இவர்களில்) எவரேனும் இதற்குப் பின்னர் (தங்கள் குற்றங்களிலிருந்து) விலகி கைசேதப்பட்டு மன்னிப்பு கோரி(த் தங்கள்) நடத்தைகளை ஒழுங்குபடுத்திக் கொண்டால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (அவர்களை) மன்னிப்பவனும் கிருபை செய்பவனுமாக இருக்கின்றான்.

எனினும் (இவர்களில்) எவர் இதற்குப் பின்னர் தவ்பா செய்து கொண்டு (தங்களைத்) திருத்திக் கொள்கிறார்களோ - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மன்னிப்பவனாகவும், கிருபை செய்பவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

இதற்குப் பின்னர் (தங்கள் குற்றங்களிலிருந்து விலகிப்) பச்சாதாபப்பட்டு(த் தங்கள் நிலைகளை) சீர்திருத்திக் கொண்டவர்கள் தவிர (இத்தகையோரை) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவன், பெருங்கிருபை செய்பவன்.

except those who repent afterwards and mend their ways, for Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Waallatheena yarmoona azwajahum walam yakun lahum shuhadao illa anfusuhum fashahadatu ahadihim arbaAAu shahadatin biAllahi innahu lamina alssadiqeena

And for those who accuse their wives, but have no witnesses except themselves, let the testimony of one of them be four testimonies (i.e. testifies four times) by Allâh that he is one of those who speak the truth.

And those who accuse their wives [of adultery] and have no witnesses except themselves - then the witness of one of them [shall be] four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the truthful.

எவர்கள் தங்கள் மனைவிகள் மீது (விபச்சாரத்தைக் கொண்டு) குற்றம்கூறித் தங்களையன்றி அவர்களிடம் (நான்கு) சாட்சிகள் இல்லாமல் இருந்தால் அதற்காக அச்சமயம் நிச்சயமாக தான் உண்மையே கூறுவதாக அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது நான்கு முறை சத்தியம் செய்து கூறி,

எவர்கள் தம் மனைவிமார்களை அவதூறு கூறி (அதை நிரூபிக்கத்) தங்களையன்றி அவர்களிடம் வேறு சாட்சிகள் இல்லாமலிருந்தால் அவன், நிச்சயமாக தாம் உண்மையே கூறுவதாக அல்லாஹ்வின்மீது நான்கு முறை சத்தியம் செய்து கூறி:

இன்னும், தங்கள் மனைவியரை (விபச்சாரக் குற்றம் சாட்டி) அவதூறு கூறி இன்னும், தங்களையன்றி அவர்களுக்கு வேறு சாட்சிகள் இருக்கவில்லையே அத்தகையோர், அப்போது (அவதூறு கூறிய) அவர்களில் ஒருவரின் சாட்சியானது – “நிச்சயமாக தான் உண்மையாளர்களில் உள்ளவன்” என்று அல்லாஹ்வைக் கொண்டு நான்கு (முறை சத்தியம் செய்து) சாட்சி கூறுவதாகும்.

As for those who accuse their wives [of adultery] but have no witness except themselves, then the evidence of one of them is to testify four times by Allah that he is telling the truth,

Waalkhamisatu anna laAAnata Allahi AAalayhi in kana mina alkathibeena

And the fifth (testimony should be) the invoking of the Curse of Allâh on him if he be of those who tell a lie (against her).

And the fifth [oath will be] that the curse of Allah be upon him if he should be among the liars.

ஐந்தாவது முறை (இவ்விஷயத்தில்) தான் பொய் சொல்வதாக இருந்தால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுடைய சாபம் தன் மீது உண்டாகுக! என்றும் அவன் சத்தியம் செய்து கூறவேண்டும்.

ஐந்தாவது முறை, “(இதில்) தான் பொய் சொல்வதாக இருந்தால், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுடைய சாபம் தன்மீது உண்டாகட்டும்” என்றும் (அவன் கூற வேண்டும்).

இன்னும், ஐந்தாவது முறையாக (இவ்விஷயத்தில்) “தான் பொய் சொல்பவர்களில் உள்ளவனாக இருந்தால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுடைய சாபம் தன்மீது உண்டாவதாக” என்று(ம் அவன் கூற வேண்டும்).

and the fifth [oath] is that may Allah curse him if he is telling a lie.

AAanha alAAathaba an tashhada arbaAAa shahadatin biAllahi innahu lamina alkathibeena

But it shall avert the punishment (of stoning to death) from her, if she bears witness four times by Allâh, that he (her husband) is telling a lie.

But it will prevent punishment from her if she gives four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the liars.

(அவனுடைய மனைவி குற்றமற்றவளாயினும் அவள்மீது குற்றம் திரும்பினால்) அவள் தன் மீது விதிக்கப்படவேண்டிய தண்டனையைத் தட்டிக் கழிப்பதற்காக (அவள் அதனை மறுத்து) நிச்சயமாக(த் தன்னுடைய) அ(க்கண)வன் பொய்யே கூறுகிறான் என்று அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது நான்கு முறை சத்தியம் செய்து,

இன்னும் (அவனுடைய மனைவி குற்றத்தை மறுத்து) தன் மீதுள்ள தண்டனையை விலக்க, “நிச்சயமாக அவன் பொய்யர்களில் நின்றுமுள்ளவன்” என்று அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது சத்தியம் செய்து நான்கு முறை கூறி:

மேலும் (அவனுடைய மனைவி தன்மீது சுமத்தப்பட்ட அவதூறை மறுத்து) “நிச்சயமாக அவன் பொய்யர்களில் உள்ளவன்” என்று அல்லாஹ்வைக் கொண்டு (சத்தியம் செய்து) நான்கு முறை அவள் சாட்சி கூறுவது அவளை விட்டும் (விபச்சாரக் குற்றத்திற்கான) தண்டனையை நீக்கிவிடும்.

But she will be spared the punishment if she testifies four times by Allah that he is telling a lie,

Waalkhamisata anna ghadaba Allahi AAalayha in kana mina alssadiqeena

And the fifth (testimony) should be that the Wrath of Allâh be upon her if he (her husband) speaks the truth.

And the fifth [oath will be] that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he was of the truthful.

ஐந்தாவது முறை மெய்யாகவே அவன் (இவ்விஷயத்தில்) உண்மை சொல்லியிருந்தால் தன்மீது அல்லாஹ்வின் கோபம் உண்டாவதாகுக! என்றும் அவள் கூறவேண்டும். (இதன் மூலம் அவள் மீது விதிக்கப்பட வேண்டிய தண்டனை நீக்கப்பட்டுவிடும்.)

ஐந்தாவது முறை, “அவன் உண்மையாளர்களிலுள்ளவனானால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுடைய கோபம் தன்மீது உண்டாவதாக என்றும் (அவள் கூற வேண்டும்).

இன்னும், ஐந்தாவது முறையாக “அவன் (இவ்விஷயத்தில்) உண்மையாளர்களில் உள்ளவனாக இருந்தால், நிச்சயமாக தன் மீது அல்லாஹ்வின் கோபம் உண்டாவதாக” (என்றும் அவள் கூறுவாள்.)

and the fifth [oath] is that may Allah’s wrath be upon her if he is telling the truth.

Walawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu waanna Allaha tawwabun hakeemun

And had it not been for the Grace of Allâh and His Mercy on you (He would have hastened the punishment upon you)! And that Allâh is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, the All-Wise.

And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy... and because Allah is Accepting of repentance and Wise.

அல்லாஹ்வினுடைய அருளும், அவனுடைய கிருபையும் உங்கள் மீது இல்லாதிருந்து, அல்லாஹ் பாவங்களை மன்னிப்பவனாகவும் ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இல்லாதிருந்தால் (உங்கள் குடும்ப வாழ்க்கையே சிதறி நீங்கள் பல துன்பங்களுக்குள்ளாகி இருப்பீர்கள்).

இன்னும் உங்கள் மீது அல்லாஹ்வுடைய நல்லருளும், அவனுடைய ரஹ்மத்தும் இல்லாது போயிருப்பின், (உங்களுக்கு அழிவு உண்டாயிருக்கும்;) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தவ்பாவை ஏற்றுக் கொள்பவனாகவும் ஞானமுடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பேரருளும், அவனுடைய கிருபையும் உங்கள் மீது இல்லாதிருந்திருப்பின், (உங்களுக்கு அழிவு ஏற்பட்டிருக்கும்) இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிகுதியாக (தவ்பாக்களை ஏற்று) பாவமன்னிப்பளிப்பவன், தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவன்.

Were it not for Allah’s grace and mercy upon you, and that Allah is Accepting of Repentance, All-Wise, [He would have punished you].

Inna allatheena jaoo bialifki AAusbatun minkum la tahsaboohu sharran lakum bal huwa khayrun lakum likulli imriin minhum ma iktasaba mina alithmi waallathee tawalla kibrahu minhum lahu AAathabun AAatheemun

Verily, those who brought forth the slander (against 'آishah [radhi-yAllâhu 'anhaa]   the wife of the Prophet [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) are a group among you. Consider it not a bad thing for you. Nay, it is good for you. To every man among them will be paid that which he had earned of the sin, and as for him among them who had the greater share therein, his will be a great torment.

Indeed, those who came with falsehood are a group among you. Do not think it bad for you; rather it is good for you. For every person among them is what [punishment] he has earned from the sin, and he who took upon himself the greater portion thereof - for him is a great punishment.

எவர்கள் (ஆயிஷா (ரழி) மீது பொய்யாக) அவதூறு கூறினார்களோ அவர்களும் உங்களிலுள்ள ஒரு கூட்டத்தினர்தாம்! (நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) அதனால் உங்களுக்கு ஏதும் தீங்கு ஏற்பட்டு விட்டதாக நீங்கள் எண்ணவேண்டாம். அது உங்களுக்கும் நன்மையாகவே முடிந்தது. (அவதூறு கூறியவர்கள்) ஒவ்வொரு வருக்கும் அவர்கள் (அவதூறு கூறித்) தேடிக்கொண்ட பாவத்துக்குத் தக்க தண்டனை(யாக எண்பது கசையடிகள்) உண்டு. இந்த அவதூறில் அவர்களில் எவன் பெரும் பங்கெடுத்துக் கொண்டானோ அவனுக்கு (இத்தண்டனையும்) இன்னும் கடுமையான வேதனையுமுண்டு.

எவர்கள் பழி சுமத்தினார்களோ, நிச்சயமாக அவர்களும் உங்களில் ஒரு கூட்டத்தினரே! ஆனால் அது உங்களுக்குத் தீங்கு என்று நீங்கள் எண்ண வேண்டாம். அது உங்களுக்கு நன்மையாகும். (பழி சுமத்தியவர்கள்) ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனுக்கும் அவன் சம்பாதித்த பாவம் (அதற்கொப்ப தண்டனை) இருக்கிறது; மேலும், அ(ப்பழி சுமத்திய)வர்களில் பெரும் பங்கெடுத்துக் கொண்டவனுக்குக் கடினமான வேதனையுண்டு.

நிச்சயமாக (ஆயிஷா ரலியல்லாஹு அன்ஹா அவர்கள் பற்றி பொய்யாக) அவதூறைக், கொண்டு வந்தார்களே அத்தகையவர்கள் உங்களில் உள்ள ஒரு கூட்டத்தினரே, அதை உங்களுக்கு தீமையாக நீங்கள் எண்ணவேண்டாம், மாறாக, அது உங்களுக்கு நன்மையாகும், அவர்களில் ஒவ்வொரு மனிதருக்கும் பாவத்தால் எதை அவர் சம்பாதித்தாரோ அது அவருக்கு உண்டு, இன்னும், இந்த அவதூறை உருவாக்கிய(விஷயத்)தில் அவர்களில் பெரும் பங்கெடுத்துக் கொண்டானே அத்தகையவன் - அவனுக்கு மகத்தான வேதனையுண்டு.

Indeed, those who came up with the slander are a group among you. Do not think that it is bad for you, rather it is good for you. Each one of them is responsible for what he earned of the sin, and the one who played the major role, for him there will be a grave punishment.

Lawla ith samiAAtumoohu thanna almuminoona waalmuminatu bianfusihim khayran waqaloo hatha ifkun mubeenun

Why then did not the believers, men and women, when you heard it (the slander), think good of their own people and say: "This (charge) is an obvious lie?"

Why, when you heard it, did not the believing men and believing women think good of one another and say, "This is an obvious falsehood"?

இதனை நீங்கள் கேள்வியுற்ற மாத்திரத்தில் (இதனை மறுத்து) நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட ஆண்களும் நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட பெண்களும் தங்களைப் பற்றி நல்லெண்ணம் வைத்து "இது பகிரங்கமான அவதூறே" என்று நீங்கள் கூறியிருக்க வேண்டாமா?

முஃமினான ஆண்களும், முஃமினான பெண்களுமாகிய நீங்கள் - இதனைக் கேள்வியுற்றபோது, தங்களைப் (போன்ற முஃமினானவர்களைப்) பற்றி நல்லெண்ணங் கொண்டு, “இது பகிரங்கமான வீண் பழியேயாகும்” என்று கூறியிருக்க வேண்டாமா?

நீங்கள் இதைக் கேள்வியுற்ற சமயத்தில், விசுவாசம் கொண்ட ஆண்களும், விசுவாசம் கொண்ட பெண்களும் தங்க(ள் கூட்டத்தினர்க)ளைப் பற்றி நன்மையானதையே எண்ணி “இது தெளிவான அவதூறு(தான்)” என்றும் கூறியிருக்க வேண்டாமா?

If only the believing men and women had thought well of themselves, and said, “This is a clear slander!”

Lawla jaoo AAalayhi biarbaAAati shuhadaa faith lam yatoo bialshshuhadai faolaika AAinda Allahi humu alkathiboona

Why did they not produce four witnesses against him? Since they (the slanderers) have not produced witnesses! Then with Allâh, they are the liars.

Why did they [who slandered] not produce for it four witnesses? And when they do not produce the witnesses, then it is they, in the sight of Allah, who are the liars.

(அல்லது) இதற்கு வேண்டிய நான்கு சாட்சிகளை அவர்கள் கொண்டு வந்திருக்க வேண்டாமா? இதற்குரிய சாட்சிகளை அவர்கள் கொண்டு வராததினால் நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் பொய்யர்கள்தாம் என்று அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் ஏற்பட்டுவிட்டது.

அ(ப்பழி சுமத்திய)வர்கள் அதற்கு நான்கு சாட்சிகளைக் கொண்டு வர வேண்டாமா, எனவே அவர்கள் சாட்சிகளைக் கொண்டு வரவில்லையெனில், அவர்கள் தாம் அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் பொய்யர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

இதன் மீது நான்கு சாட்சிகளை அவர்கள் கொண்டு வந்திருக்க வேண்டாமா? (இதற்குரிய) சாட்சிகளை அவர்கள் கொண்டு வராதபொழுது அத்தகையோர் - அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் அவர்கள் பொய்யர்கள்.

Why did they not produce four witnesses to prove it? Now, since they failed to produce witnesses, they are the liars before Allah.

Walawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu fee alddunya waalakhirati lamassakum fee ma afadtum feehi AAathabun AAatheemun

Had it not been for the Grace of Allâh and His Mercy to you in this world and in the Hereafter, a great torment would have touched you for that whereof you had spoken.

And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy in this world and the Hereafter, you would have been touched for that [lie] in which you were involved by a great punishment

இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும் உங்கள் மீது அல்லாஹ்வுடைய அருளும், கிருபையும் இல்லாதிருந்திருப்பின் இதனை நீங்கள் கூறிக்கொண்டிருந்ததன் காரணமாக மகத்தான வேதனை உங்களைப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும்.

இன்னும், உங்கள் மீது இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளும், அவனுடைய ரஹ்மத்தும் இல்லாதிருந்தால், நீங்கள் இச் சர்ச்சையில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தமைக்காக கடினமான வேதனை நிச்சயமாக உங்களைத் தீண்டியிருக்கும்.

இன்னும், உங்கள் மீது அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பேரருளும், அவனின் பெருங்கிருபையும் இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் இல்லாதிருந்தால், எதில் நீங்கள் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தீர்களோ (அதன் காரணமாக) அதில் மகத்தான வேதனை நிச்சயமாக உங்களைத் தொட்டிருக்கும்.

Were it not for Allah’s grace and mercy upon you in this world and in the Hereafter, you would have been afflicted with a great punishment for that [lie] in which you were involved,

Ith talaqqawnahu bialsinatikum wataqooloona biafwahikum ma laysa lakum bihi AAilmun watahsaboonahu hayyinan wahuwa AAinda Allahi AAatheemun

When you were propagating it with your tongues, and uttering with your mouths that whereof you had no knowledge, you counted it a little thing, while with Allâh it was very great.

When you received it with your tongues and said with your mouths that of which you had no knowledge and thought it was insignificant while it was, in the sight of Allah, tremendous.

(ஒருவரிடமிருந்து ஒருவராக இப்பொய்யான) அவதூற்றை நீங்கள் திட்டமாக அறியாத விஷயத்தை உங்கள் நாவுகளால் எடுத்துக் கொண்டு, நீங்கள் உங்கள் வாயால் கூறிக்கொண்டு திரிகிறீர்கள். இதனை நீங்கள் இலேசாகவும் மதித்துவிட்டீர்கள். ஆனால், இதுவோ அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் (பாவங்களில்) மிக்க மகத்தானது.

இப்பழியை (ஒருவரிடமிருந்து ஒருவராக) உங்கள் நாவுகளால் எடுத்து(ச் சொல்லி)க் கொண்டு, உங்களுக்குத் (திட்டமாக) அறிவில்லாத ஒன்றைப் பற்றி உங்கள் வாய்களால் கூறித் திரிகின்றீர்கள்; இன்னும் இதை நீங்கள் இலேசானதாகவும் எண்ணி விட்டீர்கள். ஆனால் அது அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் மிகப்பெரிய (பாவமான)தாக இருக்கும்.

இதனை நீங்கள் (சிலரிடமிருந்து சிலர்) உங்கள் நாவுகளால் எடுத்துக் கொண்டு உங்களை எதுபற்றி அறிவு இல்லையோ அ(ந்த விஷயத்)தை, உங்கள் வாய்களால் கூறிக்கொண்டிருந்த பொழுது (உங்களுக்கு வேதனை ஏற்பட்டிருக்கும்) இதனை நீங்கள் இலேசாகவும் எண்ணிவிட்டீர்கள்; இதுவோ, அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் மிக மகத்தானதாகும்.

when you were passing it from one tongue to the other, and saying with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, and were taking it lightly, whereas with Allah it was a grave offense.

Walawla ith samiAAtumoohu qultum ma yakoonu lana an natakallama bihatha subhanaka hatha buhtanun AAatheemun

And why did you not, when you heard it, say: "It is not right for us to speak of this. Glorified are You (O Allâh)! This is a great lie."

And why, when you heard it, did you not say, "It is not for us to speak of this. Exalted are You, [O Allah]; this is a great slander"?

நீங்கள் இதனைக் கேள்வியுற்ற மாத்திரத்தில், அல்லாஹ் மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானவன். இத்தகைய விஷயத்தை நாம் (நம் வாயால்) பேசுவதும் நமக்குத் தகுதியில்லை. இது மாபெரும் அவதூறே என்று நீங்கள் கூறியிருக்க வேண்டாமா?

இன்னும் இதை நீங்கள் செவியேற்ற போது, “இதைப் பற்றி நாம் பேசுவது நமக்கு(த் தகுதி) இல்லை; (நாயனே!) நீயே தூயவன்; இது பெரும் பழியாகும்” என்று நீங்கள் கூறியிருக்கலாகாதா?

நீங்கள் இதனைக் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது “இதனை நாம் பேசுவது நமக்கு(த் தகுதி) இல்லை, (அல்லாஹ்வே!) நீயே மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானவன், இது மகத்தான (பெரும்) அவதூறு” என்று நீங்கள் கூறி இருக்க வேண்டாமா?

If only you had said when you heard it, “How can we speak about such a thing! Glory be to You [O Allah]! This is a monstrous slander!”

YaAAithukumu Allahu an taAAoodoo limithlihi abadan in kuntum mumineena

Allâh forbids you from it and warns you not to repeat the like of it forever, if you are believers.

Allah warns you against returning to the likes of this [conduct], ever, if you should be believers.

மெய்யாகவே நீங்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களாக இருந்தால், இத்தகைய விஷயத்தை இனி ஒரு காலத்திலும் நீங்கள் மீண்டும் செய்யக்கூடாது என அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு நல்லுபதேசம் செய்கிறான்.

நீங்கள் (திடமாக) முஃமின்களாகயிருப்பின் நீங்கள் இது போன்ற (பழி சுமத்துவ)தின் பால் மீளலாகாது என்று அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு போதிக்கிறான்.

நீங்கள் விசுவாசிகளாகயிருந்தால், இதுபோன்றதின்பால் ஒருபோதும் நீங்கள் மீளலாகாது என்று அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு நல்லுபதேசம் செய்கிறான்.

Allah admonishes you not to repeat such a thing ever, if you are [truly] believers.

Wayubayyinu Allahu lakumu alayati waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun

And Allâh makes the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) plain to you, and Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

And Allah makes clear to you the verses, and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

இவ்வாறு அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு விவரித்துக் கூறுகிறான். அல்லாஹ் (அனைத்தையும்) நன்கறிந்தவனும் ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் (தன்) வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு (நன்கு விவரித்துக் கூறுகிறான்; மேலும் அல்லாஹ் (யாவும்) அறிந்தவன்; விவேகம் மிக்கோன்.

இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் (தன்னுடைய) வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு விளக்கிக் கூறுகிறான், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் (யாவையும்) நன்கறிந்தவன், தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவன்.

Allah makes the revelations clear to you, for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Inna allatheena yuhibboona an tasheeAAa alfahishatu fee allatheena amanoo lahum AAathabun aleemun fee alddunya waalakhirati waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona

Verily, those who like that (the crime of) illegal sexual intercourse should be propagated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allâh knows and you know not.

Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread [or publicized] among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you do not know.

எவர்கள் (இதற்குப் பின்னரும்) நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக் கிடையில் இத்தகைய மானக்கேடான வார்த்தைகளைப் பரப்ப விரும்புகின்றார்களோ அவர்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும் மிக்க துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையுண்டு. (அதனால் ஏற்படும் தீங்குகளை) அல்லாஹ்தான் நன்கறிவான்; நீங்கள் அறிய மாட்டீர்கள்.

எவர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டுள்ளோரிடையே இத்தகைய மானக்கேடான விஷயங்கள் பரவ வேண்டுமெனப் பிரியப்படுகிறார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும் நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனையுண்டு; அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) அறிகிறான். நீங்கள் அறியமாட்டீர்கள்.

(இதற்குப் பின்னரும்) விசுவாசங்கொண்டோருக்கிடையில் (இவ்வாறான) மானக்கேடான விஷயம் பரவவேண்டுமென விரும்புகிறார்களே, நிச்சயமாக அத்தகையோர்-அவர்களுக்கு இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் மிக்க துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையுண்டு, (அதனால் ஏற்படும் தீங்குகளை) அல்லாஹ்வே நன்கறிவான், நீங்களோ அறியமாட்டீர்கள்.

Indeed, those who like to see indecency spread among the believers will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter; Allah knows and you do not know.

Walawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu waanna Allaha raoofun raheemun

And had it not been for the Grace of Allâh and His Mercy on you (Allâh would have hastened the punishment upon you). And that Allâh is full of kindness, Most Merciful.

And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy... and because Allah is Kind and Merciful.

அல்லாஹ்வினுடைய அருளும் கிருபையும் உங்கள் மீது இல்லாதிருந்து, அல்லாஹ் மிக்க இரக்கமுடையவனாகவும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இல்லாதிருந்தால் (அவனுடைய வேதனை இதுவரை உங்களைப் பிடித்தே இருக்கும்).

இன்னும், உங்கள் மீது அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளும், அவனுடைய ரஹ்மத்தும் இல்லாதிருந்தால் (உங்களை வேதனை தீண்டியிருக்கும்.) மேலும், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் இரக்கமுடையவனாகவும், அன்புடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.  

இன்னும், உஙகள் மீது அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பேரருளும், அவனின் கிருபையும் இல்லாதிருந்தால் (உங்களை வேதனை பிடித்திருக்கும்) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வோ மிக்க இரக்கமுடையவன், மிகக் கிருபையுடையவன்.

Were it not for Allah’s grace and mercy upon you, and that Allah is Ever Gracious, Most Merciful [He would have punished you].

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattabiAAoo khutuwati alshshaytani waman yattabiAA khutuwati alshshaytani fainnahu yamuru bialfahshai waalmunkari walawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu ma zaka minkum min ahadin abadan walakinna Allaha yuzakkee man yashao waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun

O you who believe! Follow not the footsteps of Shaitân (Satan). And whosoever follows the footsteps of Shaitân (Satan), then, verily, he commands Al-Fahshâ' [i.e. to commit indecency (illegal sexual intercourse)], and Al-Munkar [disbelief and polytheism (i.e. to do evil and wicked deeds; and to speak or to do what is forbidden in Islâm)]. And had it not been for the Grace of Allâh and His Mercy on you, not one of you would ever have been pure from sins. But Allâh purifies (guides to Islâm) whom He wills, and Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! ஷைத்தானுடைய அடிச்சுவட்டை நீங்கள் பின்பற்றாதீர்கள். (ஏனென்றால்,) எவன் ஷைத்தானுடைய அடிச்சுவட்டைப் பின்பற்றிச் செல்கிறானோ அவனை அவன் மானக்கேடான விஷயங்களையும், பாவமான காரியங்களையும் செய்யும்படி நிச்சயமாகத் தூண்டிக் கொண்டே இருப்பான். அல்லாஹ்வுடைய அருளும், கிருபையும் உங்கள்மீது இல்லா திருப்பின் உங்களில் ஒருவருமே எக்காலத்திலும் பரிசுத்தவானாக இருக்க முடியாது. எனினும், அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவனைப் பரிசுத்தவானாக ஆக்குகிறான். அல்லாஹ் செவியுறுபவனும் (அனைத்தையும்) நன்கறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! ஷைத்தானுடைய அடிச்சுவடுகளை நீங்கள் பின்பற்றாதீர்கள்; இன்னும் எவன் ஷைத்தானுடைய அடிச்சுவடுகளைப் பின்பற்றுகிறானோ அவனை, ஷைத்தான் மானக் கேடானவற்றையும், வெறுக்கத்தக்க வற்றையும், (செய்ய) நிச்சயமாக ஏவுவான்; அன்றியும், உங்கள் மீது அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளும், அவனுடைய ரஹ்மத்தும் இல்லாதிருந்தால், உங்களில் எவரும் எக்காலத்திலும் (தவ்பா செய்து) தூய்மையடைந்திருக்க முடியாது - எனினும் தான் நாடியவர்களை அல்லாஹ் தூய்மைப் படுத்துகிறான் - மேலும் அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) செவியுறுவோனாகவும், நன்கறிவோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

விசுவாசம் கொண்டோரே! ஷைத்தானுடைய அடிச்சுவடுகளைப் பின்பற்றாதீர்கள், எவன் ஷைத்தானுடைய அடிச்சுவடுகளைப் பின்பற்றுகிறானோ அவனை மானக்கேடானதைக் கொண்டும் வெறுக்கப்பட்டதைக் கொண்டும் நிச்சயமாக (ஷைத்தானாகிய) அவன் ஏவுவான், இன்னும் உங்கள்மீது அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பேரருளும், அவனின் கிருபையும் இல்லாதிருப்பின் உங்களில் ஒருவருமே ஒருபோதும் பரிசுத்தமாக முடியாது, எனினும் அல்லாஹ், தான் நாடியவர்களை பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிறான், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் செவியேற்கிறவன், நன்கறிகிறவன்.

O you who believe, do not follow the footsteps of Satan; whoever follows the footsteps of Satan, he only enjoins indecency and evil acts. Were it not for Allah’s grace and mercy upon you, none of you would have ever been purified. But Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Wala yatali oloo alfadli minkum waalssaAAati an yutoo olee alqurba waalmasakeena waalmuhajireena fee sabeeli Allahi walyaAAfoo walyasfahoo ala tuhibboona an yaghfira Allahu lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun

And let not those among you who are blessed with graces and wealth swear not to give (any sort of help) to their kinsmen, Al-Masâkîn (the needy), and those who left their homes for Allâh's Cause. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love that Allâh should forgive you? And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

உங்களில் செல்வந்தரும் (பிறருக்கு உதவி செய்ய) இயல்புடையவரும், தங்கள் பந்துக்களுக்கோ, ஏழைகளுக்கோ, அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையில் ஹிஜ்ரத் செய்தவர்களுக்கோ (யாதொன்றுமே) கொடுக்க மாட்டேன் என்று சத்தியம் செய்ய வேண்டாம். (அவர்களால் உங்களுக்கு ஏதும் வருத்தம் ஏற்பட்டிருந்தால்) அதனை நீங்கள் மன்னித்துப் புறக்கணித்து விடவும். அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பளிப்பதை நீங்கள் விரும்ப மாட்டீர்களா? அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவனும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

இன்னும், உங்களில் (இறைவனின்) கொடை அருளப் பெற்றவர்களும், தக்க வசதி உடையவர்களும், உறவினர்களுக்கும் ஏழைகளுக்கும், (தம்மிடங்களை விட்டு) அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் ஹிஜ்ரத் செய்தவர்களுக்கும் (எதுவும்) கொடுக்க முடியாது என்று சத்தியம் செய்ய வேண்டாம்; (அவர்கள் தவறு செய்திருப்பின்) அதை மன்னித்து (அதைப்) பொருட்படுத்தாமல் இருக்கவும்; அல்லாஹ் உங்களை மன்னிக்க வேண்டும் என்று நீங்கள் விரும்ப மாட்டீர்களா? மேலும் அல்லாஹ் (பிழை பொறுப்பவன்) மிக மன்னிப்பவன்; அன்பு மிக்கவன்.

உங்களிலுள்ள (செல்வ)வளம் பெற்றோரும், (மற்றவருக்கு உதவ) வசதியுடையோரும் (தங்கள்) பந்துக்களுக்கும், ஏழைகளுக்கும், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையில் ஹிஜ்ரத் செய்தவர்களுக்கும் (எப்பொருளையும்) அவர்கள் கொடுக்காமலிருக்க சத்தியம் செய்ய வேண்டாம், அவர்களை மன்னித்து விடவும், (பழைய வருத்தத்தைப்) பொருட்படுத்தாது விட்டுவிடவும், அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பளிப்பதை நீங்கள் விரும்பமாட்டீர்களா? மேலும், அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவன், மிக்க கிருபையுடையவன்.

The people of virtue and affluence among you should not swear to withhold their aid from their relatives, the needy and the emigrants in the cause of Allah. Let them pardon and overlook. Do you not like to be forgiven by Allah? For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Inna allatheena yarmoona almuhsanati alghafilati almuminati luAAinoo fee alddunya waalakhirati walahum AAathabun AAatheemun

Verily, those who accuse believing chaste women, who never even think of anything touching their chastity and are good believers – are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter, and for them will be a great torment –

Indeed, those who [falsely] accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter; and they will have a great punishment

எவர்கள் கள்ளம் கபடில்லாத நம்பிக்கையாளரான கற்புடைய பெண்கள் மீது அவதூறு கூறுகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும் (இறைவனுடைய) சாபத்திற்குள்ளாவார்கள். அன்றி, அவர்களுக்கு கடுமையான வேதனை உண்டு.

எவர்கள் முஃமினான ஒழுக்கமுள்ள, பேதை பெண்கள் மீது அவதூறு செய்கிறார்களோ, அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்; இன்னும் அவர்களுக்குக் கடுமையான வேதனையுமுண்டு.

நிச்சயமாக கற்புள்ள அப்பாவிகளான விசுவாசிகளான பெண்களை அவதூறு கூறுகிறார்களே அத்தகையோர் - இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் (அல்லாஹ்வினால்) அவர்கள் சபிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர், இன்னும், (மறுமையில்) அவர்களுக்கு மகத்தான வேதனையும் உண்டு.

Those who [falsely] accuse chaste, innocent and believing women are cursed in this life and the Hereafter, and for them there will be a great punishment.

Yawma tashhadu AAalayhim alsinatuhum waaydeehim waarjuluhum bima kanoo yaAAmaloona

On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their legs (or feet) will bear witness against them as to what they used to do.

On a Day when their tongues, their hands and their feet will bear witness against them as to what they used to do.

(நபியே! ஒரு நாளை நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு ஞாபகமூட்டுங்கள்.) அந்நாளில் அவர்களுடைய நாவுகளும், அவர்களுடைய கைகளும், அவர்களுடைய கால்களும் (கூட) அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக அவர்கள் செய்தவைகளைப் பற்றி சாட்சியம் கூறும்.

அந்நாளில் அவர்களுடைய நாவுகளும், அவர்களுடைய கைகளும், அவர்களுடைய கால்களும் அவர்களுக்கெதிராக, அவர்கள் செய்ததை பற்றி சாட்சியம் கூறும்.

அவர்களுடைய நாவுகளும், அவர்களுடைய கைகளும், அவர்களுடைய கால்களும் அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததைப் பற்றி அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக சாட்சி சொல்லும் நாளில் (அவர்களுக்குக் கடுமையான வேதனையுண்டு).

On the Day when their tongues, hands and feet will testify against them for what they used to do.

Yawmaithin yuwaffeehimu Allahu deenahumu alhaqqa wayaAAlamoona anna Allaha huwa alhaqqu almubeenu

On that Day Allâh will pay them the recompense of their deeds in full, and they will know that Allâh, He is the Manifest Truth.

That Day, Allah will pay them in full their deserved recompense, and they will know that it is Allah who is the perfect in justice.

அந்நாளில் (அவர்களின் செயலுக்குத்தக்க) நீதமான கூலியை அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கு முழுமையாகவே கொடுப்பான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உண்மையாளனும் (அவர்களின் செயல்களை) வெளியாக்கிவிடக் கூடியவன்தான் என்பதை அவர்கள் நன்கறிந்து கொள்வார்கள்.

அந்நாளில் அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்குரிய நியாயமான கூலியை, அவர்களுக்குப் பூரணமாகக் கொடுப்பான்; இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் தான் “பிரத்தியட்சமான உண்மை(யாளன்) என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்து கொள்வார்கள்.

அந்நாளில் அவர்களுக்குரிய (செயல்களுக்கு) உண்மையான கூலியை அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்குப் பூரணமாகக் கொடுப்பான், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் -அவனே (கணக்குகளை நீதமாக வைத்து அவற்றை) வெளியாக்கிவிடக்கூடிய உண்மையாளன் என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்தும் கொள்வார்கள்.

On that Day, Allah will give them full recompense that they deserve, and they will know that it is Allah Who is the Ultimate Truth.

Alkhabeethatu lilkhabeetheena waalkhabeethoona lilkhabeethati waalttayyibatu lilttayyibeena waalttayyiboona lilttayyibati olaika mubarraoona mimma yaqooloona lahum maghfiratun warizqun kareemun

Bad statements are for bad people (or bad women for bad men) and bad people for bad statements (or bad men for bad women). Good statements are for good people (or good women for good men) and good people for good statements (or good men for good women): such (good people) are innocent of (every) bad statement which they say; for them is forgiveness, and Rizqun Karîm (generous provision, i.e. Paradise).

Evil words are for evil men, and evil men are [subjected] to evil words. And good words are for good men, and good men are [an object] of good words. Those [good people] are declared innocent of what the slanderers say. For them is forgiveness and noble provision.

கெட்ட பெண்கள், கெட்ட ஆண்களுக்கும்; கெட்ட ஆண்கள், கெட்ட பெண்களுக்கும் தகுமானவர்கள். (அவ்வாறே) பரிசுத்தமான பெண்கள், பரிசுத்தமான ஆண்களுக்கும்; பரிசுத்தமான ஆண்கள், பரிசுத்தமான பெண்களுக்கும் தகுமானவர்கள். இத்தகைய (பரிசுத்தமான)வர்கள்தாம் (இந்த நயவஞ்சகர்கள்) கூறும் குற்றங்குறைகளிலிருந்து பரிசுத்தமாக இருக்கின்றனர்.இவர்களுக்கு (மறுமையில்) மன்னிப்பும் உண்டு; கண்ணியமான முறையில் உணவும் உண்டு.

கெட்ட பெண்கள் கெட்ட ஆண்களுக்கும் கெட்ட ஆண்கள் கெட்ட பெண்களுக்கும் இன்னும்: நல்ல தூய்மையுடைய பெண்கள், நல்ல தூய்மையான ஆண்களுக்கும் நல்ல தூய்மையான ஆண்கள் நல்ல தூய்மையான பெண்களுக்கும் (தகுதியானவர்கள்.) அவர்கள் கூறுவதை விட்டும் இவர்களே தூய்மையானவர்கள். இவர்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பும், கண்ணியமான உணவுமுண்டு.  

கெட்ட பெண்கள், கெட்ட ஆண்களுக்கும், கெட்ட ஆண்கள், கெட்ட பெண்களுக்கும், இன்னும் பரிசுத்தமான பெண்கள், பரிசுத்தமான ஆண்களுக்கும், பரிசுத்தமான ஆண்கள், பரிசுத்தமான பெண்களுக்கும் (தகுதியானவர்கள்.) அ(த்தகைய)வர்கள், இவர்கள் கூறுவதைவிட்டும் நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்ட (பரிசுத்தமான)வர்கள், இவர்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பும், கண்ணியமான உணவும் உண்டு.

Evil women are for evil men and evil men for evil women, and virtuous women are for virtuous men and virtuous men for virtuous women. These [virtuous ones] are innocent of what [the slanderers] say; they will have forgiveness and a generous provision.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tadkhuloo buyootan ghayra buyootikum hatta tastanisoo watusallimoo AAala ahliha thalikum khayrun lakum laAAallakum tathakkaroona

O you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted those in them; that is better for you, in order that you may remember.

O you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants. That is best for you; perhaps you will be reminded.

நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! உங்களுடையதல்லாத வீடுகளில் நீங்கள் (நுழையக் கருதினால்,) அதில் இருப்பவர்களுக்கு ஸலாம் கூறி (அவர்களுடைய) அனுமதியைப் பெறும் வரையில் நுழையாதீர்கள். இவ்வாறு நடந்துகொள்வது உங்களுக்கே மிக்க நன்று. (இதனை மறந்து விடாது) நீங்கள் கவனத்தில் வைப்பீர்களாக!

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! உங்கள் வீடுகளல்லாத (வேறு) வீடுகளில், அ(வ்வீட்டிலுள்ள)வர்களிடம் அனுமதி பெற்று, அவர்களுக்கு ஸலாம் சொல்லாதவரை (அவற்றினுள்) பிரவேசிக்காதீர்கள் - (அவ்வாறு நடப்பதுவே) உங்களுக்கு நன்மையாகும்; நீங்கள் நற்போதனை பெறுவதற்கு (இது உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்படுகிறது).

விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே! உங்கள் வீடுகள் அல்லாத (வேறு) வீடுகளில் (நீங்கள் நுழைய அவசியம் ஏற்பட்டால் அவ்வீடுகளில் உள்ளவர்களிடம்) நீங்கள் (மூன்று முறை) அனுமதி கோரி, அவ்வீடுகளில் உள்ளோருக்கு ஸலாம் கூறாதவரை (அவற்றில்) நுழையாதீர்கள், இ(வ்வாறு நடந்துகொள்வ)துவே உங்களுக்கு மிகச் சிறந்ததாகும், நீங்கள் நல்லுபதேசம் பெறும் பொருட்டு (இது உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்படுகிறது).

O you who believe, do not enter any house other than your own until you ask permission and greet their dwellers. That is best for you, so that you may take heed.

Fain lam tajidoo feeha ahadan fala tadkhulooha hatta yuthana lakum wain qeela lakumu irjiAAoo fairjiAAoo huwa azka lakum waAllahu bima taAAmaloona AAaleemun

And if you find no one therein, still enter not until permission has been given to you. And if you are asked to go back, go back, for it is purer for you. And Allâh is All-Knower of what you do.

And if you do not find anyone therein, do not enter them until permission has been given you. And if it is said to you, "Go back," then go back; it is purer for you. And Allah is Knowing of what you do.

அவ்வீட்டில் எவரையுமே நீங்கள் காணாவிடில், உங்களுக்கு அனுமதி கிடைக்கும் வரையில் அதில் நுழையாதீர்கள். (தவிர இச்சமயம் வீட்டில் நுழைய வேண்டாம்.) "நீங்கள் திரும்பிவிடுங்கள்" என்று (அவ்வீட்டில் இருக்கும் பெண்கள் மற்ற எவராலும்) உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டால், அவ்வாறே நீங்கள் (தாமதிக்காது) திரும்பி விடுங்கள். இதுவே உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கி வைக்கும். நீங்கள் செய்பவைகளை அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிந்து கொள்வான்.

அதில் நீங்கள் எவரையும் காணாவிட்டால், உங்களுக்கு அனுமதி கொடுக்கப்படும் வரையில் அதில் பிரவேசிக்காதீர்கள்; அன்றியும், “திரும்பிப் போய் விடுங்கள்” என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்பட்டால், அவ்வாறே திரும்பி விடுங்கள் - அதுவே உங்களுக்கு மிகவும் பரிசுத்தமானதாகும்; மேலும், அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்வதை நன்கறிபவன்.

அவற்றில் எவரையுமே நீங்கள் காணவில்லையென்றால், உங்களுக்கு அனுமதியளிக்கப்படும் வரையில் அவற்றில் நுழையாதீர்கள், மேலும், “நீங்கள் திரும்பி விடுங்கள்” என்று (அவற்றில் உள்ளோரிடமிருந்து) உங்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டால் நீங்கள் திரும்பிவிடுங்கள், அதுவே உங்களுக்கு மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானதாகும், இன்னும், நீங்கள் செய்பவைகளை நன்கறிகிறவன்.

If you do not find anyone therein, do not enter it until you have been given permission. If you are told to go back, then go back; that is more proper for you. And Allah is All-Knowing of what you do.

Laysa AAalaykum junahun an tadkhuloo buyootan ghayra maskoonatin feeha mataAAun lakum waAllahu yaAAlamu ma tubdoona wama taktumoona

There is no sin on you that you enter (without taking permission) houses uninhabited (i.e. not possessed by anybody), (when) you have any interest in them. And Allâh has knowledge of what you reveal and what you conceal.

There is no blame upon you for entering houses not inhabited in which there is convenience for you. And Allah knows what you reveal and what you conceal.

(நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) குடியில்லாத யாதொரு வீட்டில் உங்களுடைய சாமான்கள் இருந்து (அதற்காக) நீங்கள் அதில் (அனுமதியின்றியே) நுழைந்தால் அது உங்கள்மீது குற்றமாகாது. நீங்கள் (உங்கள் மனதில்) மறைத்துக் கொள்வதையும் நீங்கள் வெளியாக்குவதையும் அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிவான்.

(எவரும்) வசிக்காத வீடுகளில் உங்களுடைய பொருட்கள் இருந்து, அவற்றில் நீங்கள் பிரவேசிப்பது உங்கள் மீது குற்றமாகாது; மேலும் அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் பகிரங்கமாக செய்வதையும், நீங்கள் மறைத்து வைப்பதையும் நன்கறிவான்.

(விசுவாசிகளே! எவராலும்) குடியிருக்கப்படாத வீடுகளில் - அவற்றில் உங்களுடைய பொருட்கள் இருந்து (அதற்காக) நீங்கள் அவற்றிறல் நுழைவது உங்கள் மீது குற்றமாகாது, மேலும் அல்லாஹ், நீங்கள் வெளியாக்குவதையும் மறைத்துக்கொள்வதையும் அறிவான்.

There is no blame on you if you enter uninhabited houses with a useful purpose. And Allah knows what you reveal and what you conceal.

Qul lilmumineena yaghuddoo min absarihum wayahfathoo furoojahum thalika azka lahum inna Allaha khabeerun bima yasnaAAoona

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them. Verily, Allâh is All-Acquainted with what they do.

Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do.

(நபியே!) நம்பிக்கையாளர்களான ஆண்களுக்கு நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: அவர்கள் தங்கள் பார்வைகளைக் கீழ் நோக்கியே வைக்கவும். அவர்கள் தங்கள் கற்பையும் பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ளவும். இது அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கி வைக்கும். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் செய்பவைகளை நன்கறிந்து கொள்கிறான்.

(நபியே!) முஃமின்களான ஆடவர்களுக்கு நீர் கூறுவீராக: அவர்கள் தங்கள் பார்வைகளைத் தாழ்த்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்; தங்கள் வெட்கத் தலங்களைப் பேணிக்காத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்; அது அவர்களுக்கு மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானதாகும்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கு தெரிந்தவன்.

(நபியே!) விசுவாசிகளுக்கு நீர் கூறுவீராக: “அவர்கள் தங்கள் பார்வைகளைத் தாழ்த்திக் கொள்ளவும் தங்கள் மர்மஸ்தனங்களையும் பேணிக்காத்துக் கொள்ளவும், “அது அவர்களுக்கு மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானதாகும், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் செய்பவைகளை நன்கு உணர்பவன்.

Tell the believing men to lower their gazes and guard their private parts; that is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

Waqul lilmuminati yaghdudna min absarihinna wayahfathna furoojahunna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa ma thahara minha walyadribna bikhumurihinna AAala juyoobihinna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa libuAAoolatihinna aw abaihinna aw abai buAAoolatihinna aw abnaihinna aw abnai buAAoolatihinna aw ikhwanihinna aw banee ikhwanihinna aw banee akhawatihinna aw nisaihinna aw ma malakat aymanuhunna awi alttabiAAeena ghayri olee alirbati mina alrrijali awi alttifli allatheena lam yathharoo AAala AAawrati alnnisai wala yadribna biarjulihinna liyuAAlama ma yukhfeena min zeenatihinna watooboo ila Allahi jameeAAan ayyuha almuminoona laAAallakum tuflihoona

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyûbihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islâm), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allâh to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful.

And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.

(நபியே!) நம்பிக்கையுள்ள பெண்களுக்கும் நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: அவர்களும் தங்கள் பார்வையைக் கீழ் நோக்கியே வைத்துத் தங்கள் கற்பையும் பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ளவும். அன்றி, தங்கள் தேகத்தில் (பெரும்பாலும்) வெளியில் இருக்கக் கூடியவைகளைத் தவிர தங்கள் (ஆடை ஆபரணம் போன்ற) அலங்காரத்தை வெளிக்காட்டாது மறைத்துக் கொள்ளவும். தங்கள் முந்தானைகளால் மார்பையும் மறைத்துக் கொள்ளவும். பெண்கள் தங்களுடைய கணவர்கள், தங்களுடைய தந்தைகள், தங்களுடைய கணவர்களின் தந்தைகள், தங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகள், தங்களுடைய கணவர்களின் பிள்ளைகள், தங்களுடைய சகோதரர்கள், தங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களின் பிள்ளைகள், தங்களுடைய சகோதரிகளின் பிள்ளைகள் அல்லது (முஸ்லிமாகிய) தங்களுடைய இனத்தாரின் பெண்கள், தங்களுடைய அடிமைகள் அல்லது பெண்களின் விருப்பமற்ற தங்களை அண்டி வாழும் ஆண்கள், பெண்களின் மறைவான அவயங்களை அறிந்துகொள்ளாத சிறு பிராயத்தையுடைய (ஆண்) குழந்தைகள் ஆகிய இவர்களைத் தவிர மற்றெவர் முன்னும் தங்களின் அலங்காரத்தை அறவே வெளிப்படுத்த வேண்டாம். இன்னும் (தாங்கள் அணிந்திருக்கும் ஆடை ஆபரணங்களை போன்ற) மறைந்திருக்கும் தங்களுடைய அலங்காரத்தை அறிவிக்கும் நோக்கத்துடன் தங்களுடைய கால்களை (பூமியில்) தட்டித் தட்டி நடக்க வேண்டாம். நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! (இதில் எதிலும் உங்களால் தவறு ஏற்பட்டு விட்டால்) நீங்கள் வெற்றிபெறும் பொருட்டு அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கமே பாவ மன்னிப்பைக் கோரி (உங்கள் மனதைத்) திருப்புங்கள்.

இன்னும்; முஃமினான பெண்களுக்கும் நீர் கூறுவீராக: அவர்கள் தங்கள் பார்வைகளைத் தாழ்த்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்; தங்கள் வெட்கத் தலங்களைப் பேணிக்காத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்; தங்கள் அழகலங்காரத்தை அதினின்று (சாதாரணமாக வெளியில்) தெரியக் கூடியதைத் தவிர (வேறு எதையும்) வெளிக் காட்டலாகாது; இன்னும் தங்கள் முன்றானைகளால் அவர்கள் தங்கள் மார்புகளை மறைத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்; மேலும், (முஃமினான பெண்கள்) தம் கணவர்கள், அல்லது தம் தந்தையர்கள், அல்லது தம் கணவர்களின் தந்தையர்கள் அல்லது தம் புதல்வர்கள் அல்லது தம் கணவர்களின் புதல்வர்கள், அல்லது தம் சகோதரர்கள் அல்லது தம் சகோதரர்களின் புதல்வர்கள், அல்லது தம் சகோதரிகளின் புதல்வர்கள், அல்லது தங்கள் பெண்கள், அல்லது தம் வலக்கரங்கள் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொண்டவர்கள், அல்லது ஆடவர்களில் தம்மை அண்டி வாழும் (பெண்களை விரும்ப முடியாத அளவு வயதானவர்கள்) பெண்களின் மறைவான அங்கங்களைப் பற்றி அறிந்து கொள்ளாத சிறுவர்கள் ஆகிய இவர்களைத் தவிர, (வேறு ஆண்களுக்குத்) தங்களுடைய அழகலங்காரத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தக் கூடாது; மேலும், தாங்கள் மறைத்து வைக்கும் அழகலங்காரத்திலிருந்து வெளிப்படுமாறு தங்கள் கால்களை (பூமியில்) தட்டி நடக்க வேண்டாம்; மேலும், முஃமின்களே! (இதில் உங்களிடம் ஏதேனும் தவறு நேரிட்டிருப்பின்,) நீங்கள் தவ்பா செய்து (பிழை பொறுக்கத் தேடி), நீங்கள் வெற்றி பெறும் பொருட்டு, நீங்கள் அனைவரும் அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கம் திரும்புங்கள்.

மேலும், (நபியே!) விசுவாசிகளான பெண்களுக்கு நீர் கூறுவீராக: “தங்கள் பார்வைகளை அவர்கள் தாழ்த்திக் கொள்ளவும், தங்கள் மர்மஸ்தானங்களையும் பேணிப்பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ளவும் அதினின்று வெளியில் தெரியக்கூடியவைகளைத் தவிர தங்கள் (அலங்காரத்தை,) அவர்கள் வெளிப்படுத்த வேண்டாம், தங்கள் முந்தானைகளை தம் மேல் சட்டைகளின்மீது போட்டு (தலை கழுத்து, நெஞ்சு ஆகியவற்றை மறைத்து)க் கொள்ள வேண்டும், மேலும், அவர்கள் தம் அலங்காரத்தை தம் கணவர்கள், அல்லது தம் தந்தையர், அல்லது தம் கணவர்களின் தந்தையர், அல்லது தம் குமாரர்கள், அல்லது தம் கணவர்களின் குமாரர்கள், அல்லது தங்கள் சகோதரர்கள், அல்லது தம் சகோதரர்களின் குமாரர்கள், அல்லது தம் சகோதரிகளின் குமாரர்கள் அல்லது தங்களுடைய பெண்கள், அல்லது தங்களுடைய வலக்கரம் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொண்டவர்கள், அல்லது (ஆண்களில் பெண்களின் மீது) விருப்பமற்ற பணியாளர்கள், அல்லது பெண்களின் மறைவான அவயங்களை அறிந்து கொள்ளாத சிறு பிராயத்தையுடைய சிறார்கள் ஆகியவர்களைத் தவிர, (மற்றெவருக்கும்) வெளிப்படுத்த வேண்டாம், அன்றியும் தம் அலங்காரத்திலிருந்து தாம் மறைத்திருப்பதை அறியப்படுவதற்காக, தங்களுடைய கால்களை (பூமியில்) அடிக்க வேண்டாம், விசுவாசிகளே! நீங்கள் வெற்றி பெறுவதற்காக அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கம் (பாவ மன்னிப்பைக் கோரி) தவ்பாச் செய்யுங்கள்.

Tell the believing women to lower their gazes and guard their private parts, and not to reveal their beauty except what appears. And let them draw their veils over their chests, and not to reveal their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, slaves whom they own, male attendants who have no [sexual] desire, or children who are still unaware of private aspects of women. Nor let them stamp their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden charm. And turn to Allah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful.

Waankihoo alayama minkum waalssaliheena min AAibadikum waimaikum in yakoonoo fuqaraa yughnihimu Allahu min fadlihi waAllahu wasiAAun AAaleemun

And marry those among you who are single (i.e. a man who has no wife and the woman who has no husband) and (also marry) the Sâlihûn (pious, fit and capable ones) of your (male) slaves and maid-servants (female slaves). If they be poor, Allâh will enrich them out of His bounty. And Allâh is All-Sufficent for His creatures' needs, All-Knowing (about the state of the people).

And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

(ஆணாயினும், பெண்ணாயினும்) உங்களில் எவருக்கும் வாழ்க்கைத் துணை இல்லாவிட்டால், அவர்களுக்கு(ம் விதவைகளுக்கும்) திருமணம் செய்துவிடுங்கள். (அவ்வாறே) உங்கள் அடிமையிலுள்ள நல்லோர்கள் ஆணாயினும் பெண்ணாயினும் சரி (வாழ்க்கைத் துணைவரில்லாத) அவர்களுக்கும் திருமணம் செய்து வையுங்கள். அவர்கள் ஏழைகளாயிருந்தாலும் அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய அருளைக்கொண்டு அவர்களுடைய வறுமையை நீக்கி விடுவான். (கொடை கொடுப்பதில்) அல்லாஹ் மிக்க விசாலமானவனும் (மனிதர்களின் நிலைமையை) நன்கறிந்தவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

இன்னும், உங்களில் வாழ்க்கைத் துணை இல்லா (ஆடவர், பெண்டி)ருக்கும், அவ்வாறே (வாழ்க்கைத் துணையில்லா) ஸாலிஹான உங்கள் (ஆண், பெண்) அடிமைகளுக்கும் விவாகம் செய்து வையுங்கள்; அவர்கள் ஏழைகளாக இருந்தால், அல்லாஹ் தன் நல்லருளைக் கொண்டு அவர்களைச் சீமான்களாக்கி வைப்பான்; மேலும் அல்லாஹ் (கொடையில்) விசாலமானவன். (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிந்தவன்.

உங்களில் வாழ்க்கைத் துணையில்லாதவருக்கும் (அவ்வாறே வாழ்க்கைத் துணைவரில்லாத) உங்களுடைய ஆண் அடிமைகள், இன்னும், அடிமைப்பெண்களிலிருந்து நல்லொழுக்கமுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் திருமணம் செய்து வையுங்கள், அவர்கள் ஏழைகளாக இருந்தால், அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய பேரருளைக் கொண்டு அவர்களைச் சீமான்களாக்கி வைப்பான், மேலும், (நல்குவதில்) அல்லாஹ் விசாலமானவன். (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிந்தவன்.

Arrange marriages for those of you who are unmarried, and for the righteous of your bondmen and bondwomen. If they are poor, Allah will suffice them from His bounty, for Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.

WalyastaAAfifi allatheena la yajidoona nikahan hatta yughniyahumu Allahu min fadlihi waallatheena yabtaghoona alkitaba mimma malakat aymanukum fakatiboohum in AAalimtum feehim khayran waatoohum min mali Allahi allathee atakum wala tukrihoo fatayatikum AAala albighai in aradna tahassunan litabtaghoo AAarada alhayati alddunya waman yukrihhunna fainna Allaha min baAAdi ikrahihinna ghafoorun raheemun

And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allâh enriches them of His bounty. And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), give them such writing, if you find that there is good and honesty in them. And give them something (yourselves) out of the wealth of Allâh which He has bestowed upon you. And force not your maids to prostitution, if they desire chastity, in order that you may make a gain in the (perishable) goods of this worldly life. But if anyone compels them (to prostitution), then after such compulsion, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to those women, i.e. He will forgive them because they have been forced to do this evil act unwillingly).

But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty. And those who seek a contract [for eventual emancipation] from among whom your right hands possess - then make a contract with them if you know there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allah which He has given you. And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone should compel them, then indeed, Allah is [to them], after their compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful.

(வறுமையினால்) திருமணம் செய்ய சக்தியற்றோர், அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய அருளைக் கொண்டு (அவர்களுடைய வறுமையை நீக்கிப்) பொருளைக் கொடுக்கும் வரையில் அவர்கள் (நோன்பு நோற்றுக் கொண்டு) உறுதியாகத் தங்களுடைய கற்பைக் காத்துக் கொள்ளவும். உங்கள் அடிமைகளில் எவரேனும் (ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தொகையைச் சேகரித்து உங்களுக்குத் தருவதாகவும், தன்னை விடுதலை செய்துவிடும்படியாகவும் கூறி அதற்குரிய) உரிமைப் பத்திரத்தை எழுதித் தரும்படிக் கோரி அவர்களிடம் அதற்குரிய தகுதியை (அதாவது: விடுதலையான பின்னர், அவர்கள் கண்ணியமான முறையில் தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையை நடத்திக் கொள்வார்கள் என்று) நீங்கள் கண்டால், உரிமைப் பத்திரத்தை அவர்களுக்கு எழுதிக் கொடுத்து விடுங்கள். (நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கும் பொருளிலிருந்தும் நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடு(த்து அவர்கள் விடுதலையாக உதவி செய்யு)ங்கள். தங்கள் கற்பை பாதுகாத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் உங்கள் அடிமைப் பெண்களை இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கைக்குரிய ஒரு அற்பப் பொருளை நீங்கள் அடையும் பொருட்டு விபசாரம் செய்யும்படி அவர்களை நிர்ப்பந்திக்காதீர்கள். அவர்கள் எவரேனும் (அவர்கள் விருப்பத்திற்கு மாறாக) நிர்ப்பந்தத்திற்குள்ளாகி விட்டால், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நிர்ப்பந்தத்திற்குள்ளான அவர்களை மிக்க மன்னிப்பவனும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான். (எனினும், நிர்ப்பந்தித்தவன் பெரும் பாவி ஆகின்றான்.)

விவாகம் செய்வதற்கு (உரிய வசதிகளைப்) பெற்றுக் கொள்ளாதவர்கள் - அவர்களை அல்லாஹ் தம் நல்லருளினால் சீமான்களாக்கும் வரை - அவர்கள் ஒழுக்கம் பேணட்டும். இன்னும் உங்கள் வலக்கரங்கள் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொண்டவர்களில் (அடிமைகளில் உரிய தொகையைக் கொடுத்தோ அல்லது முறையாக சம்பாதித்துத் தருவதாக வாக்குக் கொடுத்தோ) எவரேனும் (சுதந்திரமாவதற்கான) உரிமைப் பத்திரம் விரும்பினால் - அதற்குரிய நன்மையான தகுதியை நீங்கள் அவ்வடிமையிடம் (இருப்பது பற்றி) அறிவீர்களாயின், அவர்களுக்குத் உரிமை பத்திரம் எழுதிக் கொடுங்கள்; இன்னும் (அதற்கான பொருளை) அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்குத் தந்திருக்கும் பொருளிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பீர்களாக; மேலும், தங்கள் கற்பைப் பேணிக் கொள்ள விரும்பும் உங்கள் அடிமைப் பெண்களை - அற்பமான உலக வாழ்க்கை வசதிகளைத் தேடியவர்களாக - விபசாரத்திற்கு (அவர்களை) நிர்ப்பந்திக்காதீர்கள்; அப்படி எவனேனும் அந்தப் பெண்களை நிர்ப்பந்தித்தால் அவர்கள் நிர்ப்பந்திக்கப்பட்ட பின் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மன்னிப்பவனாகவும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கிறான்.

திருமணத்தை(ச்செய்ய வசதிகளை)ப்பெற்றுக் கொள்ளாதவர்கள் அல்லாஹ் தன் பேரருளால் அவர்களை சீமான்களாக்கி வைக்கும்வரை பத்தினித்தனமாக இருந்து கொள்ளவும், உங்கள் வலக்கரம் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொண்டவர்களிலிருந்து (தன்னை விடுவிப்பதற்குரிய) உரிமைப் பத்திரத்தை எழுதுமாறு தேடுகிறார்களே அத்தகையோர் - அவர்களில் நன்மையை நீங்கள் அறிந்தால், (உரிமைப் பத்திரத்தை) அவர்களுக்கு எழுதிக் கொடுத்து விடுங்கள், (விசுவாசிகளே!) இன்னும், உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கும் பொருளிலிருந்து நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்கும் கொடுங்கள், இன்னும், உங்கள் அடிமைப் பெண்களை – பத்தினித்தனத்தை அவர்கள் நாடுவார்களானால் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கைக்குரிய ஓர் அற்பப் பொருளை நீங்கள் அடைவதற்காக, விபச்சாரத்திற்கு (அதைச் செய்யுமாறு) நிர்ப்பந்திக்காதீர்கள், அவர்களை எவரேனும் நிர்ப்பந்தித்தால், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் நிர்ப்பந்திக்கப்பட்டபின் (அவர்களை) மிக்க மன்னிப்பவன், மிக்க கிருபையுடையவன்.

Let those who cannot afford marriage to keep themselves chaste until Allah suffices them from His bounty. If any of your slaves wish to enter the contract of emancipation, make this contract with them, if you find goodness in them, and give them some of the wealth that Allah has given you. Do not compel your slave girls into prostitution – if they wish to keep chaste – seeking the worldly gains of this life. But if anyone compels them, then Allah, after such a compulsion, is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Walaqad anzalna ilaykum ayatin mubayyinatin wamathalan mina allatheena khalaw min qablikum wamawAAithatan lilmuttaqeena

And indeed We have sent down for you Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) that make things plain, and the example of those who passed away before you, and an admonition for those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious. See V.2:2).

And We have certainly sent down to you distinct verses and examples from those who passed on before you and an admonition for those who fear Allah.

நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களுக்குத் தெளிவான வசனங்களையும், உங்களுக்கு முன் சென்றவர்களின் உதாரணங்களையும், இறை அச்சமுடையவர்களுக்கு நல்லுபதேசங்களையும் (இதில்) இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கிறோம்;

இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக உங்களுக்குத் தெளிவாக்கும் வசனங்களையும், உங்களுக்கு முன் சென்று போனவர்களின் உதாரணத்தையும், பயபக்தியுடையோருக்கு நல்லுபதேசத்தையும் நாம் இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றோம்.

இன்னும், தெளிவுபடுத்தும் வசனங்களையும், உங்களுக்கு முன் சென்றுள்ளோர்களிலிருந்து, உதாரணத்தையும் பயபக்தியுடையோர்க்கு நல்லுபதேசத்தையும் (இதில்) உங்கள்பால் நிச்சயமாக நாம் இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கிறோம்.

We have sent down to you verses clarifying the right path, and examples of those who passed on before you, and an admonition for those who fear Allah.

Allahu nooru alssamawati waalardi mathalu noorihi kamishkatin feeha misbahun almisbahu fee zujajatin alzzujajatu kaannaha kawkabun durriyyun yooqadu min shajaratin mubarakatin zaytoonatin la sharqiyyatin wala gharbiyyatin yakadu zaytuha yudeeo walaw lam tamsashu narun noorun AAala noorin yahdee Allahu linoorihi man yashao wayadribu Allahu alamthala lilnnasi waAllahu bikulli shayin AAaleemun

Allâh is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp: the lamp is in a glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allâh guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allâh sets forth parables for mankind, and Allâh is All-Knower of everything.

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.

அல்லாஹ், வானங்கள் பூமி (ஆகியவை)களின் பிரகாசமாக இருக்கிறான். அவனுடைய பிரகாசத்திற்கு உதாரணம் விளக்கு இருக்கும் ஒரு மாடத்திற்கு ஒப்பாகும். அவ்விளக்கு ஒரு பளிங்குக் கிண்ணத்தில் இருக்கிறது. அந்தக் கிண்ணமோ முத்தாலாகிய (பிரகாசிக்கும்) ஒரு நட்சத்திரத்தைப்போல் (பிரகாசித்துக்கொண்டு) இருக்கின்றது. (அதில்) பாக்கியம் பெற்ற "ஜைத்தூன்" மரத்தின் எண்ணெய் எரிக்கப்படுகின்றது. அது கீழ்நாட்டிலுள்ளதுமல்ல; மேல்நாட்டில் உள்ளதுமல்ல. அந்த எண்ணெய் நெருப்புத் தொடாவிடினும் பிரகாசிக்கவே செய்கிறது. (அதுவும்) பிரகாசத்திற்கு மேல் பிரகாசமாக (பிரகாசிக்கிறது). அல்லாஹ், தான் நாடிய வர்களைத் தன் பிரகாசத்தின் பக்கம் செலுத்துகின்றான். மனிதர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ் (தன்னுடைய தன்மையை அறிவிக்கும் பொருட்டு) இத்தகைய உதாரணங்களைக் கூறுகிறான். அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தையும் மிக்க அறிந்தவன்.

அல்லாஹ் வானங்கள் பூமிக்கு ஒளி (ஏற்படுத்துபவன்) அவன் (ஏற்படுத்தும்) ஒளிக்கு உவமை விளக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மாடம் போன்றதாகும். அவ்விளக்கு ஒரு கண்ணாடி(க் குவி)யில் இருக்கிறது; அக் கண்ணாடி ஒளிவீசும் நட்சத்திரத்தைப் போன்றதாகும். அது பாக்கியம் பெற்ற ஜைத்தூன் மரத்தி(ன் எண்ணெயி)னால் எறிக்கப் படுகிறது. அது கீழ்த்திசையை சேர்ந்ததுமன்று; மேல்திசையை சேர்ந்ததுமன்று. அதனை நெருப்புத் தீண்டாவிடினும், அதன் எண்ணெய் ஒளி வீச முற்படும், (இவை எல்லாம் சேர்ந்து) ஒளி மேல் ஒளியாகும். அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவரை தன்னுடைய ஒளி (என்னும் சத்தியப்பாதை)யின் பால் நடத்திச் செல்கிறான். மனிதர்களுக்கு இத்தகைய உவமைகளை அல்லாஹ் தெளிவுபடுத்துகிறான். அல்லாஹ் யாவற்றையும் நன்கு அறிபவன்.

அல்லாஹ் வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியின் பிரகாசமாக இருக்கிறான், அவனுடைய பிரகாசத்திற்கு உதாரணம்: அதில் விளக்கு இருக்கும் ஒரு மாடம் போன்றதாகும், அவ்விளக்கு கண்ணாடியினுள் இருக்கிறது, நிச்சயமாக அக்கண்ணாடி பிரகாசிக்கும் ஒரு நட்சத்திரத்தைப் போன்றதாகும், (அது) பாக்கியம் பெற்ற ஜைத்தூன் மரத்தி(ன் எண்ணெயி)னால் எரிக்கப்படுகிறது, (அது) கீழ்த்திசையைச் சேர்ந்ததுமன்று, மேல் திசையைச் சேர்ந்ததுமன்று, அதன் எண்ணெய், அதை நெருப்பு தொடாவிடினும் பிரகாசிக்கவே முற்படும், (இவை யாவும் இணைந்து) ஒளிக்குமேல் ஒளியாகும், அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களைத் தன் பிராகாசத்தின் பால் செலுத்துகிறான், மேலும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ் இத்தகைய உதாரணங்களைக் கூறுகிறான், அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளைப்பற்றியும் நன்கறிந்தவன்.

Allah is the Light of the heavens and earth. The likeness of His light is that of a niche in which is a lamp; the lamp is in a glass; the glass is like a shining star – it is lit by [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, which is neither of the east nor of the west. Its oil would almost glow, even without being touched by fire. Light upon light; Allah guides to His light whom He wills. Allah sets forth comparisons for people, and Allah is All-Knowing of everything.

Fee buyootin athina Allahu an turfaAAa wayuthkara feeha ismuhu yusabbihu lahu feeha bialghuduwwi waalasali

In houses (mosques) which Allâh has ordered to be raised (to be cleaned, and to be honoured), in them His Name is remembered [i.e. Adhân, Iqâmah, Salât (prayers), invocations, recitation of the Qur'ân]. Therein glorify Him (Allâh) in the mornings and in the afternoons or the evenings,

[Such niches are] in mosques which Allah has ordered to be raised and that His name be mentioned therein; exalting Him within them in the morning and the evenings

(அவ்விளக்குகள்) வீடுகளில் இருக்கின்றன. அவ்வீடுகளில் அல்லாஹ்வின் திருப்பெயர்கள் கூறவும், அதைக் கண்ணியப் படுத்தும்படியும் அவன் கட்டளையிட்டிருக்கிறான். காலையிலும் மாலையிலும் அவனைத் துதி செய்துகொண்டு,

இறை இல்லங்களில் அவனது பெயர் கூறப்படவேண்டுமென்றும் (அவற்றின் கண்ணியம்) உயர்த்தப்படவேண்டுமென்றும் அல்லாஹ் கட்டளையிடுகிறான். அவற்றில் காலையிலும் மாலையிலும் (முஃமின்கள்) அவனை துதி செய்து கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்.

(அல்லாஹ்வின் இல்லங்களான அவ்)வீடுகளில் (வணக்க வழிபாடுகளின் மூலம்) அவை உயர்த்தப்படவும், அவற்றில் அவனது பெயர் கூறப்படவேண்டுமெனவும் அல்லாஹ் கட்டளையிடுகிறான், அவற்றில் காலையிலும் மாலையிலும் அவனை (நல்லடியார்கள்) துதி செய்வர்.

[Such niches are lit] in the houses [of worship] which Allah has ordered to raise up, and where His Name is mentioned, and He is glorified therein morning and evening

Rijalun la tulheehim tijaratun wala bayAAun AAan thikri Allahi waiqami alssalati waeetai alzzakati yakhafoona yawman tataqallabu feehi alquloobu waalabsaru

Men whom neither trade nor sale (business) diverts from the remembrance of Allâh (with heart and tongue) nor from performing As-Salât (the prayers) nor from giving the Zakât (obligatory charity). They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will be overturned (out of the horror of the torment of the Day of Resurrection).

[Are] men whom neither commerce nor sale distracts from the remembrance of Allah and performance of prayer and giving of zakah. They fear a Day in which the hearts and eyes will [fearfully] turn about -

(அதில்) பலர் இருக்கின்றனர். (அவர்கள் எத்தகைய வரென்றால்) அவர்களுடைய வர்த்தகக் கொடுக்கல் வாங்கல் அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய திருப்பெயரை நினைவு செய்வதில் இருந்தும், தொழுகையை உறுதியாக கடைபிடிப்பதிலிருந்தும், ஜகாத்துக் கொடுப்பதிலிருந்தும் அவர்களைத் திருப்பி விடாது. உள்ளங்களும் பார்வைகளும் (பயத்தால் திடுக்கிட்டுத்) தடுமாறி விடக்கூடிய நாளைப் பற்றி அவர்கள் (எந்நேரமும்) பயந்து கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்.

(அவ்வாறு துதி செய்யும்) மனிதர்களை அல்லாஹ்வை தியானிப்பதை விட்டும், தொழுகையை முறையாக நிறைவேற்றுவதை விட்டும் ஜகாத் கொடுப்பதை விட்டும் அவர்களுடைய வாணிபமோ கொடுக்கல் வாங்கல்களோ பராமுகமாக்கமாட்டா; இதயங்களும், பார்வைகளும் கலங்கித் தடுமாற்றமடையுமே அந்த (இறுதி) நாளை அவர்கள் அஞ்சுவார்கள்.

(அவ்வாறு துதி செய்யும்) ஆடவர்கள் - அவர்களை வாணிபமோ (கொடுப்பினையின் மூலம்) விற்பனையோ, அல்லாஹ்வை நினைவு கூருவதைவிட்டும், தொழுகையை முறையாக நிறைவேற்றுவதைவிட்டும் ஜகாத் கொடுப்பதை விட்டும் (பராமுகமாக்கி) வீணாக்கிவிடாது, இன்னும், ஒருநாளை அவர்கள் பயந்து கொண்டிருப்பர், அதில் (அந்நாளில்) இதயங்களும், பார்வைகளும் (திடுக்கிட்டுத்) தடுமாற்றமடைந்து விடும்.

by men who are not distracted by buying or selling from the remembrance of Allah, or from performing prayer or giving zakah. They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will be petrified.

Liyajziyahumu Allahu ahsana ma AAamiloo wayazeedahum min fadlihi waAllahu yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin

That Allâh may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace. And Allâh provides without measure to whom He wills.

That Allah may reward them [according to] the best of what they did and increase them from His bounty. And Allah gives provision to whom He wills without account.

அவர்கள் செய்துகொண்டிருந்த (நன்மையான) வைகளைவிட அழகான கூலியை அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பான். தன் அருளைக்கொண்டு மென்மேலும் அவர்களுக்கு அதிகமாகவே கொடுப்பான். அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களுக்குக் கணக்கின்றியே கொடுக்கின்றான்.

அவர்கள் செய்த (நற்செயல்களுக்கு) மிக அழகானதை அவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ் கூலியாகக் கொடுப்பதற்காகவும், அவனுடைய நல்லருளைக் கொண்டு (அவன் கொடுப்பதை) மேலும் அவன் அதிகப்படுத்துவதற்காகவும் (பயபக்தியுடன் இருப்பார்கள்.) மேலும் அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களுக்குக் கணக்கின்றிக் கொடுக்கிறான்.

அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததற்கு மிக அழகானதை அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கு நற்கூலியாகக் கொடுப்பதற்காகவும், தன் பேரருளிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு அதிகமாக்கவும், (இவ்வாறு தொழுது அல்லாஹ்வை தஸ்பீஹ் செய்து வருவார்கள்.) மேலும், அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களுக்குக் கணக்கின்றியே கொடுப்பான்.

[They hope] that Allah may reward them according to their best deeds, and give them yet more out of His bounty, for Allah gives provision to whom He wills without limit.

Waallatheena kafaroo aAAmaluhum kasarabin biqeeAAatin yahsabuhu alththamanu maan hatta itha jaahu lam yajidhu shayan wawajada Allaha AAindahu fawaffahu hisabahu waAllahu sareeAAu alhisabi

As for those who disbelieved, their deeds are like a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one thinks it to be water until he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing; but he finds Allâh with him, Who will pay him his due (Hell). And Allâh is Swift in taking account.

But those who disbelieved - their deeds are like a mirage in a lowland which a thirsty one thinks is water until, when he comes to it, he finds it is nothing but finds Allah before Him, and He will pay him in full his due; and Allah is swift in account.

எவர்கள் நிராகரிப்பவர்களாகி விட்டார்களோ, அவர் களுடைய செயல்கள் வனாந்தரத்தில் தோன்றும் கானலைப்போல் இருக்கின்றன. தாகித்தவன் அதனைத் தண்ணீர் என எண்ணிக் கொண்டு அதன் சமீபமாகச் சென்றபொழுது ஒன்றையுமே அவன் காணவில்லை; எனினும், அல்லாஹ் தன்னிடமிருப்பதை அவன் காண்கின்றான். அவன் (இவனை மரிக்கச் செய்து) இவனுடைய கணக்கை முடித்து விடுகிறான். கேள்வி கணக்குக் கேட்பதில் அல்லாஹ் மிகத் தீவிரமானவன்.

அன்றியும், எவர்கள் காஃபிராக இருக்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களுடைய செயல்கள் பாலைவனத்தில் (தோற்றமளிக்கும்) கானல் நீரைப் போலாகும்; தாகித்தவன் அதைத் தண்ணீரென்றே எண்ணுகிறான் - (எது வரையெனில்) அதற்கு (அருகில்) அவன் வரும் பொழுது ஒரு பொருளையும் (அங்கே) காணமாட்டானே (அது வரை); ஆனால், அங்கு அவன் அல்லாஹ் (அவனுக்கு விதித்திருக்கும் முடி)வை(யே) காண்கின்றான்; (அதன் படி அல்லாஹ்) அவன் கணக்கைத் தீர்க்கிறான்; மேலும், அல்லாஹ் கணக்குத் தீர்ப்பதில் துரிதமானவன்.

இன்னும் நிராகரித்துவிட்டார்களே அவர்கள் - அவர்களின் செயல்கள் பாலைவனத்தில் (தோற்றமளிக்கும்) கானல் (நீரைப்) போலாகும்; தாகித்தவன் அதைத் தண்ணீர் என எண்ணிக் கொள்கிறான், எதுவரையெனில் (முடிவாக) அவன் அதனிடத்தில் வந்தடைந்தால் அதை அவன் ஒரு பொருளாகப் பெற்றுக் கொள்ள மாட்டான், (மறுமையில் இது காஃபிர்களின் நிலையாகும், அங்கு) அதனிடத்தில் (தனக்கெதிரில்) அல்லாஹ்வைக் காண்கிறான்; அப்போது அவனுடைய கணக்கை அவனுக்கு அவன் (அல்லாஹ்) நிறைவு செய்துவிடுகிறான், இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் கணக்குத்தீர்ப்பதில் தீவிரமானவன்.

As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are like a mirage in a plain desert, which a thirsty person deems to be water, until when he reaches it, he finds nothing, but he finds Allah there [in the Hereafter], thus He will pay him his account in full, for Allah is swift in reckoning.

Aw kathulumatin fee bahrin lujjiyyin yaghshahu mawjun min fawqihi mawjun min fawqihi sahabun thulumatun baAAduha fawqa baAAdin itha akhraja yadahu lam yakad yaraha waman lam yajAAali Allahu lahu nooran fama lahu min noorin

Or (the state of a disbeliever) is like the darkness in a vast deep sea, overwhelmed with waves topped by waves, topped by dark clouds, (layers of) darkness upon darkness: if a man stretches out his hand, he can hardly see it! And he for whom Allâh has not appointed light, for him there is no light.

Or [they are] like darknesses within an unfathomable sea which is covered by waves, upon which are waves, over which are clouds - darknesses, some of them upon others. When one puts out his hand [therein], he can hardly see it. And he to whom Allah has not granted light - for him there is no light.

அல்லது (அவர்களுடைய செயல்) கடலின் ஆழத்திலுள்ள இருளுக்கு ஒப்பாக இருக்கின்றது. அதனை அலைக்கு மேல் அலைகள் மூடிக் கொண்டிருப்பதுடன் மேகங்களும் (கவிழ்ந்து) மூடிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. அன்றி, அவன் தன் கையை நீட்டிய போதிலும் அதனைக் காண முடியாத அளவுக்கு இருள்களும் ஒன்றன் மேல் ஒன்றாகச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டு இருக்கின்றன. அல்லாஹ் எவனுக்குப் பிரகாசத்தைக் கொடுக்கவில்லையோ அவனுக்கு (எங்கிருந்தும்) யாதொரு பிரகாசமும் கிட்டாது.

அல்லது (அவர்களின் நிலை) ஆழ்கடலில் (ஏற்படும்) பல இருள்களைப் போன்றதாகும்; அதனை ஓர் அலை மூடுகிறது. அதற்கு மேல் மற்றோர் அலை; அதற்கும் மேல் மேகம். (இப்படி) பல இருள்கள். சில சிலவற்றுக்கு மேல் இருக்கின்றன. (அப்பொழுது) அவன் தன் கையை வெளியே நீட்டினால் அவனால் அதைப் பார்க்க முடியாது; எவனுக்கு அல்லாஹ் ஒளியை ஏற்படுத்தவில்லையோ அவனுக்கு எந்த ஒளியுமில்லை.

அல்லது (அவர்களுடைய செயல்களுக்கு உதாரணம்:) ஆழ் கடலிலுள்ள இருள்களைப் போன்றதாகும், அதனை ஒரு அலை மூடிக் கொள்கிறது, அதற்கு மேல் மற்றோர் அலை, அதற்கு மேல் மேகம் (இவ்வாறு) பல இருள்கள், அதில் சில சிலவற்றுக்குமேல் இருக்கின்றன, (இருள்களால் சூழப்பட்ட நிலையில் பார்ப்பவன்) தன் கையை வெளியாக்கி (நீட்டி)னால் அதனை அவனால் பார்க்க முடியாது, இன்னும், எவருக்கு அல்லாஹ் ஒளியை ஆக்கவில்லையோ அவருக்கு (எங்கும்) ஒளி இல்லை.

Or [their deeds] are like layers of darkness in a deep sea covered by waves upon waves, above which are clouds - layers of darkness, one above another. If one stretches out his hand, he can hardly see it. Whoever Allah does not give light will have no light at all.

Alam tara anna Allaha yusabbihu lahu man fee alssamawati waalardi waalttayru saffatin kullun qad AAalima salatahu watasbeehahu waAllahu AAaleemun bima yafAAaloona

See you not (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) that Allâh, He it is Whom glorify whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, and the birds with wings outspread (in their flight)? Of each one He (Allâh) knows indeed his Salât (prayer) and his glorification [or everyone knows his Salât (prayer) and his glorification]; and Allâh is All-Knower of what they do.

Do you not see that Allah is exalted by whomever is within the heavens and the earth and [by] the birds with wings spread [in flight]? Each [of them] has known his [means of] prayer and exalting [Him], and Allah is Knowing of what they do.

வானங்களிலும் பூமியிலும் உள்ளவைகளும் (இவற்றிற்கு மத்தியில் உள்ளவைகளும் குறிப்பாக) பறவைகளும் (தங்கள்) இறக்கைகளை விரித்(துப் பறந்)த வண்ணமாக அல்லாஹ்வை புகழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன என்பதை (நபியே!) நீங்கள் காண வில்லையா? இவை யாவும் தாங்கள் புகழ்ந்து வணங்க வேண்டிய முறையை நிச்சயமாக அறிந்தே இருக்கின்றன. அல்லாஹ்வும் அவைகள் செய்பவைகளை நன்கறிந்து கொள்கிறான்.

(நபியே!) நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? வானங்களிலும் பூமியிலும் உள்ளவையும், பறவைகள் (விண்ணில் தங்கள்) இறக்கைகளை விரித்(துப் பறந்)த வண்ணமாக நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வைத் தஸ்பீஹு செய்(து துதிக்)கின்றன; ஒவ்வொன்றும் தன் தொழுகையையும், (அல்லாஹ்வை) தஸ்பீஹு செய்யும் வழியையும் திட்டமாக அறிந்தே இருக்கிறது - அல்லாஹ்வும் அவை செய்பவற்றை நன்கறிந்திருக்கிறான்.

நிச்சயமாக, அல்லாஹ் - அவனை வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் உள்ளவைகளும், (தங்கள்) இறக்கைகளை விரித்(துப் பறந்)தவண்ணமாக பறவைகளும் துதி செய்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன, என்பதை (நபியே!) நீர் காணவில்லையா? (இவற்றில்) ஒவ்வொன்றும் தன் தொழுகையையும் அவனைத் துதி செய்யும் முறையையும் திட்டமாக அறிந்திருக்கின்றன, மேலும், அல்லாஹ் அவைகள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கறிகிறவன்.

Do you not see that all those who are in the heavens and earth glorify Allah, as do the birds with wings outspread? Each knows its [way of] praying and glorification. And Allah is All-Knowing of what they do.

Walillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi waila Allahi almaseeru

And to Allâh belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and to Allâh is the return (of all).

And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Allah is the destination.

வானங்கள் பூமி (ஆகியவை)யின் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு உரியதே! அவனிடமே (அனைவரும்) திரும்பச் செல்ல வேண்டியதிருக்கிறது.

இன்னும் வானங்களுடையவும் பூமியினுடையவும் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்விடமே இருக்கிறது; அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கமே (யாவரும்) மீண்டு செல்ல வேண்டியிருக்கிறது.

இன்னும், வானங்களுடையவும், பூமியினுடையவும் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது!, அல்லாஹ்வின்பாலே அனைவரின் திரும்பச் செல்லுதல் இருக்கிறது.

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and earth, and to Allah is the final return.

Alam tara anna Allaha yuzjee sahaban thumma yuallifu baynahu thumma yajAAaluhu rukaman fatara alwadqa yakhruju min khilalihi wayunazzilu mina alssamai min jibalin feeha min baradin fayuseebu bihi man yashao wayasrifuhu AAan man yashao yakadu sana barqihi yathhabu bialabsari

See you not that Allâh drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap of layers, and you see the rain comes forth from between them; and He sends down from the sky hail (like) mountains, (or there are in the heaven mountains of hail from where He sends down hail), and strikes therewith whom He wills, and averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its (clouds) lightning nearly blinds the sight. (Tafsir At-Tabarî)

Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it. And He sends down from the sky, mountains [of clouds] within which is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills. The flash of its lightening almost takes away the eyesight.

(பல பாகங்களிலும் சிதறிக் கிடக்கும்) மேகங்களை ஓட்டி அவைகளை ஒன்று சேர்த்து ஒன்றின் மேல் ஒன்றாக நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்தான் அடுக்குகின்றான் என்பதை (நபியே!) நீங்கள் பார்க்க வில்லையா? பின்னர், அந்த மேகங்களின் மத்தியிலிருந்து மழையை பொழியச் செய்வதையும் நீங்கள் காண்கிறீர்கள். அவனே வானத்தில் மலை போன்றிருக்கும் மேகங்களிலிருந்து ஆலங்கட்டி (கல் மாரி)யையும் பொழியச் செய்கின்றான். அதனை அவன் நாடியவர்கள் மீது விழும்படி செய்கிறான். அவன் நாடியவர்களை விட்டு அதனைத் தடுத்துக் கொள்கிறான். அதன் மின்னலில் வெளிச்சம் பார்வையைப் பறிக்கப் பார்க்கின்றது.

(நபியே!) நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மேகத்தை மெதுவாக இழுத்து, பின்னர் அவற்றை ஒன்றாக இணையச்செய்து, அதன் பின் அதை (ஒன்றின் மீது ஒன்று சேர்த்து) அடர்த்தியாக்குகிறான்; அப்பால் அதன் நடுவேயிருந்து மழை வெளியாவதைப் பார்க்கிறீர்; இன்னும் அவன் வானத்தில் மலைக(ளைப் போன்ற மேகக் கூட்டங்க)ளிலிருந்து பனிக்கட்டியையும் இறக்கி வைக்கின்றான்; அதைத் தான் நாடியவர்கள் மீது விழும்படிச் செய்கிறான் - தான் நாடியவர்களை விட்டும் அதை விலக்கியும் விடுகிறான் - அதன் மின்னொளி பார்வைகளைப் பறிக்க நெருங்குகிறது.

(நபியே!) நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்தான் (பல பாகங்களிலிருந்து) மேகங்களை மெதுவாக இழுத்து, பின்னர் அவைகளை ஒன்றாகச் சேர்த்து, அதன்பின் ஒன்றின்மேல் ஒன்றாக இணையச் செய்கிறான், (பின்னர், அம்மேகங்களான) அவற்றிற்கு மத்தியிலிருந்து மழை வெளிப்படுவதை நீர் காண்கிறீர், அவனே வானத்திலுள்ள மலைகளிலிருந்து ஆலங்கட்டியையும் இறக்கி வைக்கிறான், அதனைக்கொண்டு அவன் நாடியவர்களைப் பிடிக்கச் செய்கிறான், இன்னும், அவன் நாடியவர்களைவிட்டு அதனைத் திருப்பிவிடுகிறான், அதன் மின்னலின் ஒளி பார்வைகளைப் பறிக்க நெருங்குகிறது.

Do you not see that Allah drives the clouds, then gathers them together, then turns them into a heap, then you see raindrops coming out from their midst? He sends down hail from mountains [of clouds] in the sky, raining it down upon whoever He wills and turning it away from whoever He wills. The flash of its lightning almost takes away eyesight.

Yuqallibu Allahu allayla waalnnahara inna fee thalika laAAibratan liolee alabsari

Allâh causes the night and the day to succeed each other (i.e. if the day is gone, the night comes, and if the night is gone, the day comes, and so on). Truly, in this is indeed a lesson for those who have insight.

Allah alternates the night and the day. Indeed in that is a lesson for those who have vision.

இரவையும் பகலையும் அல்லாஹ்வே (திருப்பித் திருப்பி) மாற்றிக்கொண்டு இருக்கின்றான். அறிவுடையவருக்கு இதில் ஒரு (நல்ல) படிப்பினை உண்டு.

இரவையும் பகலையும் அல்லாஹ்வே மாறி மாறி வரச் செய்கிறான்; நிச்சயமாக சிந்தனையுடையவர்களுக்கு இதில் (தக்க) படிப்பினை இருக்கிறது.

இரவையும், பகலையும் அல்லாஹ்வே (திருப்பித் திருப்பி) மாற்றிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறான், பார்வைகள் உடையோர்க்கு நிச்சயமாக இதில் ஒரு (நல்ல) படிப்பினை உண்டு.

Allah alternates the night and day. Indeed, there is a lesson in this for people of insight.

WaAllahu khalaqa kulla dabbatin min main faminhum man yamshee AAala batnihi waminhum man yamshee AAala rijlayni waminhum man yamshee AAala arbaAAin yakhluqu Allahu ma yashao inna Allaha AAala kulli shayin qadeerun

Allâh has created every moving (living) creature from water. Of them there are some that creep on their bellies, and some that walk on two legs, and some that walk on four. Allâh creates what He wills. Verily, Allâh is Able to do all things.

Allah has created every [living] creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

(மனிதர்களே!) ஊர்ந்து செல்லக்கூடிய (உயிர்ப் பிராணிகள்) அனைத்தையும் அல்லாஹ் ஒரேவித தண்ணீரைக் கொண்டு படைத்திருந்த போதிலும் (அவை யாவும் ஒரு வகையாக இருக்க வில்லை.) அவைகளில் சில தன் வயிற்றால் (பாம்புகளைப் போல்) ஊர்ந்து செல்கின்றன. அவைகளில் சில இரு கால்களால் நடக்கின்றன. அவைகளில் சில நான்கு கால்களால் நடக்கின்றன. (இவ்வாறு) அல்லாஹ் தான் விரும்பியவைகளை (விரும்பியவாறு) படைப்பான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தின் மீதும் மிக்க ஆற்றலுடையவன்.

மேலும், எல்லா உயிர்ப் பிராணிகளையும் அல்லாஹ் நீரிலிருந்து படைத்துள்ளான்; அவற்றில் தன் வயிற்றின் மீது நடப்பவையும் உண்டு; அவற்றில் இரு கால்களால் நடப்பவையும் உண்டு; அவற்றில் நான்கு (கால்)களை கொண்டு நடப்பவையும் உண்டு; தான் நாடியதை அல்லாஹ் படைக்கிறான்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் எல்லாவற்றின் மீதும் பேராற்றலுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

அல்லாஹ் – (பூமியின் மீது ஊர்ந்து திரியும்) ஒவ்வொரு உயிர்ப்பிராணியையும் நீரிலிருந்து – அவன் படைத்திருக்கின்றான், அவைகளில் தன் வயிற்றின் மீது நடப்பவையும் உண்டு, அவைகளில் இரு கால்களால் நடப்பவையும் உண்டு, இன்னும் அவைகளில் நான்கு(கால்)களால் நடப்பவைகளும் உண்டு, (இவ்வாறு) அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியதை படைக்கிறான், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ், ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின்மீதும் பேராற்றலுடையவன்.

Allah created every living creature from water. Some of them move on their bellies, and some walk on two legs and some walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Allah is Most Capable of all things.

Laqad anzalna ayatin mubayyinatin waAllahu yahdee man yashao ila siratin mustaqeemin

We have indeed sent down (in this Qur'ân) manifest Ayât [proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, lawful and unlawful things, and the set boundaries of Islâmic religion, that make things clear (showing the Right Path of Allâh)]. And Allâh guides whom He wills to a Straight Path (i.e. to Allâh's religion of Islâmic Monotheism).

We have certainly sent down distinct verses. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.

(மனிதர்களே! அனைவரும் எளிதில் அறிந்துகொள்ளக் கூடிய) தெளிவான வசனங்களையே நிச்சயமாக நாம் (இதில்) இறக்கியிருக்கிறோம். எனினும், அல்லாஹ் தான் விரும்பிய (நல்ல) வர்களையே (இதன் மூலம்) நேரான வழியில் செலுத்துகிறான்.

நிச்சயமாக நாம் தெளிவுபடுத்தும் வசனங்களையே இறக்கியிருக்கிறோம்; மேலும் தான் நாடியோரை அல்லாஹ் நேர்வழிப் படுத்துகிறான்.

(மனிதர்களே!) தெளிவாக்கி வைக்கக்கூய வசனங்களையே நிச்சயமாக நாம் (இதில்) இறக்கியிருக்கிறோம், இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடிய (நல்ல)வர்களை நேரான வழியின்பால் செலுத்துகிறான்.

We have sent down verses making things clear, and Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.

Wayaqooloona amanna biAllahi wabialrrasooli waataAAna thumma yatawalla fareequn minhum min baAAdi thalika wama olaika bialmumineena

They (hypocrites) say: "We have believed in Allâh and in the Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]), and we obey," then a party of them turn away thereafter, such are not believers.

But the hypocrites say, "We have believed in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey"; then a party of them turns away after that. And those are not believers.

(நபியே!) அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் நாங்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு அவர்களுக்கு கட்டுப்பட்டு நடக்கின்றோம்" என்று கூறுபவர்களில் சிலர் பின்னர் புறக்கணித்து விடுகின்றனர். ஆகவே, இவர்கள் (உண்மையான) நம்பிக்கை யாளர்களே அல்ல.

“அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும், (இத்)தூதர் மீதும் நாங்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டோம்; (அவர்களுக்குக்) கீழ்படிகிறோம்” என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள். (ஆனால் அதன்) பின்னர் அவர்களிலிருந்து ஒரு பிரிவார் புறக்கணித்து விடுகின்றனர் - எனவே, இவர்கள் (உண்மையில்) முஃமின்கள் அல்லர்.

“அல்லாஹ்வையும், (அவனுடைய) தூதரையும் நாங்கள் விசுவாசித்திருக்கிறோம், (அவர்களின் கட்டளைகளுக்கு) நாங்கள் கீழ்ப்படிகிறோம் என்றும் (நபியே! இந்த முனாஃபிக்குகள்) கூறுகின்றனர், பின்னர், அவர்களில் ஒரு பிரிவினர் அதற்குப்பிறகு புறக்கணித்துவிடுகின்றனர்.) ஆகவே, இவர்கள் (உண்மையான) விசுவாசிகள் அல்லர்.

They [the hypocrites] say, “We believe in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey.” Then a party of them turns away after that. Such are not believers.

Waitha duAAoo ila Allahi warasoolihi liyahkuma baynahum itha fareequn minhum muAAridoona

And when they are called to Allâh (i.e. His Words, the Qur'ân) and His Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam], to judge between them, lo! a party of them refuses (to come) and turns away.

And when they are called to [the words of] Allah and His Messenger to judge between them, at once a party of them turns aside [in refusal].

தவிர, தங்களுக்கிடையில் (ஏற்பட்ட விவகாரத்தைப் பற்றி நியாயத்) தீர்ப்பு பெற அல்லாஹ்விடமும், அவனுடைய தூதரிடமும் வாருங்கள் என அழைக்கப்பட்டால் அவர்களில் ஒரு பிரிவினர் புறக்கணித்து விடுகின்றனர்.

மேலும் தம்மிடையே (விவகாரம் ஏற்பட்டு, அதுபற்றிய) தீர்ப்புப் பெற அல்லாஹ்விடமும், அவன் தூதரிடமும் (வரும்படி) அழைக்கப்பட்டால், அவர்களில் ஒரு பிரிவார் (அவ்வழைப்பைப்) புறக்கணிக்கிறார்கள்.

மேலும், தங்களுக்கிடையில் (ஏற்பட்டவற்றில் அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதராகிய) அவர் தீர்ப்பளிக்க அல்லாஹ்விடமும், அவனுடைய தூதரிடமும் வாருங்கள் என அவர்கள் அழைக்கப்பட்டால், அப்போது அவர்களில் ஒரு பிரிவினர் புறக்கணிக்கக்கூடியவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்.

When they are called to Allah and His Messenger so that he may judge between them, a party of them turns away.

Wain yakun lahumu alhaqqu yatoo ilayhi muthAAineena

But if the truth is on their side, they come to him willingly with submission.

But if the right is theirs, they come to him in prompt obedience.

எனினும், தீர்ப்பு அவர்களுக்கு சாதகமாக இருந்தால் (நம்முடைய தூதருக்கு) கீழ்படிந்து (நடப்பவர்களைப் போல்) அவரிடம் வருகின்றனர்.

ஆனால், அவர்களின் பக்கம் - உண்மை (நியாயம்) இருக்குமானால், வழி பட்டவர்களாக அவரிடம் வருகிறார்கள்.

மேலும், உண்மை அவர்கள் பக்கம் இருக்குமானால் கீழ்ப்படிந்தவர்களாக (விரைந்து) அவரிடம் வருகிறார்கள்.

But if the right is in their favor, they come to him in full submission.

Afee quloobihim maradun ami irtaboo am yakhafoona an yaheefa Allahu AAalayhim warasooluhu bal olaika humu alththalimoona

Is there a disease in their hearts? Or do they doubt or fear lest Allâh and His Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] should wrong them in judgement. Nay, it is they themselves who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists, hypocrites and wrong doers).

Is there disease in their hearts? Or have they doubted? Or do they fear that Allah will be unjust to them, or His Messenger? Rather, it is they who are the wrongdoers.

என்னே! அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களில் ஏதும் நோய் இருக்கின்றதா? அல்லது (அவரைப் பற்றி) இவர்கள் சந்தேகிக்கின்றனரா? அல்லது அல்லாஹ்வும் அவனுடைய தூதரும் இவர்களுக்கு அநியாயம் செய்து விடுவார்கள் என்று பயப்படுகின்றனரா? (அன்று, அவர்கள் அநீதி செய்யப்படவே மாட்டார்கள்.) மாறாக, இவர்கள்தாம் வரம்பு மீறும் அநியாயக் காரர்கள். (ஆதலால்தான் இவ்வாறு செய்கின்றனர்.)

அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் நோய் இருக்கிறதா? அல்லது (அவரைப் பற்றி) அவர்கள் சந்தேகப்படுகிறார்களா? அல்லது அல்லாஹ்வும் அவனுடைய தூதரும் தங்களுக்கு அநியாயம் செய்வார்கள் என்று அஞ்சுகிறார்களா? அல்ல! அவர்களே அநியாயக் காரர்கள்.

அவர்களுடைய இதயங்களில் நோய் இருக்கின்றதா? அல்லது (அவரைப்பற்றி) இவர்கள் சந்தேகிக்கின்றனரா, அல்லது அல்லாஹ்வும் அவனுடைய தூதரும் அவர்களுக்கு அநீதியிழைத்து விடுவார்கள் என்று பயப்படுகின்றனரா? அல்ல, இவர்கள்தாம் (தமக்குத்தாமே) அநியாயக்காரர்கள்.

Is there sickness in their hearts, or do they have doubt, or do they fear that Allah and His messenger will be unjust to them? Rather, it is they who are the wrongdoers.

Innama kana qawla almumineena itha duAAoo ila Allahi warasoolihi liyahkuma baynahum an yaqooloo samiAAna waataAAna waolaika humu almuflihoona

The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allâh (His Words, the Qur'ân) and His Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam], to judge between them, is that they say: "We hear and we obey." And such are the successful (who will live forever in Paradise).

The only statement of the [true] believers when they are called to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them is that they say, "We hear and we obey." And those are the successful.

எனினும், மெய்யாகவே நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களோ அவர்களுக்கு இடையில் (ஏற்பட்ட விவகாரத்தைப் பற்றித்) தீர்ப்பு பெற அல்லாஹ்விடமும், அவனுடைய தூதரிடமும் வரும்படி அழைக்கப்பட்டால், அதற்கவர்கள் "நாங்கள் செவி சாய்த்தோம்; நாங்கள் வழிப்பட்டோம்" என்று கூறுவதைத் தவிர, வேறு ஒன்றும் கூறுவதில்லை. இத்தகையவர்கள்தாம் முற்றிலும் வெற்றி அடைந்தவர்கள்.

முஃமின்களிடம் அவர்களுக்கிடையே (ஏற்படும் விவகாரங்களில்) தீர்ப்புக் கூறுவதற்காக அல்லாஹ்விடமும் அவனுடைய தூதரிடமும் (வரும்படி) அழைக்கப்பட்டால், அவர்கள் சொல்(வது) எல்லாம் “நாங்கள் செவியேற்றோம், (அதற்குக்) கீழ்படிந்தோம்” என்பது தான்; இ(த்தகைய)வர்கள் தாம் வெற்றியடைந்தவர்கள்.

விசுவாசிகளின் கூற்றாக இருப்பதெல்லாம்-அவர்களுக்கிடையே (அல்லாஹ்வுடைய தூதராகிய) அவர் தீர்ப்புக் கூறுவதற்காக அல்லாஹ்விடமும், அவனுடைய தூதரிடமும் (வருமாறு) அவர்கள் அழைக்கப்பட்டால் - “நாங்கள் செவியுற்றோம், இன்னும், கீழ்ப்படிந்தோம்” என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவதுதான், இன்னும் அவர்கள் தாம் வெற்றியாளர்கள்.

As for the believers, when they are called to Allah and His Messenger so that he may judge between them, they say, “We listen and obey.” It is they who are the successful.

Waman yutiAAi Allaha warasoolahu wayakhsha Allaha wayattaqhi faolaika humu alfaizoona

And whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam], fears Allâh, and keeps his duty (to Him), such are the successful.

And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger and fears Allah and is conscious of Him - it is those who are the attainers.

எவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கட்டுப்பட்டு, அல்லாஹ்வுக்குப் பயந்து (அவனுக்கு மாறு செய்வதை விட்டு) விலகிக் கொண்டார்களோ அத்தகையவர்தாம் நிச்சயமாக பெரும் பாக்கியம் பெற்றவர்கள்.

இன்னும் எவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படிந்து அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு பயபக்தி கொள்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தாம் வெற்றி பெற்றவர்கள்.

இன்னும், எவர் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிந்து இன்னும், அல்லாஹ்வை அஞ்சி அவனைப்பயந்தும் கொள்கிறாரோ அத்தகையோர்-அவர்கள்தாம் வெற்றி பெற்றவர்கள்.

Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, and fears Allah and is conscious of Him – it is they who are the triumphant.

Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihim lain amartahum layakhrujunna qul la tuqsimoo taAAatun maAAroofatun inna Allaha khabeerun bima taAAmaloona

They swear by Allâh their strongest oaths that if only you would order them, they would leave (their homes for fighting in Allâh's Cause). Say: "Swear you not; (this) obedience (of yours) is known (to be false). Verily, Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do."

And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths that if you ordered them, they would go forth [in Allah 's cause]. Say, "Do not swear. [Such] obedience is known. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with that which you do."

(நபியே! நயவஞ்சகர்களாகிய) அவர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் கட்டளையிட்டால், அவர்களும் நிச்சயமாக (போருக்குப்) புறப்பட்டு விடுவதாக அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது உறுதியான சத்தியம் செய்து கூறுகிறார்கள். நீங்கள் (அவர்களை நோக்கிக்) கூறுங்கள்: "(இவ்வாறு) சத்தியம் செய்யாதீர்கள்! நீங்கள் கட்டுப்பட்டு நடப்பதாகக் கூறுவதன் உண்மை தெரிந்த விஷயம்தான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கறிந்தவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்."

இன்னும் (நபியே! நயவஞ்சகர்களுக்கு) நீர் கட்டளையிட்டால், நிச்சயமாகப் (போருக்குப்) புறப்படுவதாக அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது உறுதியாகச் சத்தியம் செய்து கூறுகிறார்கள்; (அவர்களை நோக்கி:) “நீங்கள் சத்தியம் செய்யாதீர்கள். (உங்கள்) கீழ்படிதல் தெரிந்தது தான்- நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கறிபவன்” என்று கூறுவீராக.

(நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் (போர் செய்ய) புறப்பட்டுவிடுவதாக அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது அவர்கள் உறுதியான சத்தியம் செய்(து கூறு)கின்றார்கள், “சத்தியம் செய்யாதீர்கள் என்று நீர் கூறுவீராக! (உங்களுடைய) கீழ்படிதல் (நயவஞ்சகமானதென) அறியப்பட்டதுதான், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ், நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கு உணர்பவன்.

They [the hypocrites] swear by Allah their most solemn oaths that if you order them, they will surely march forth. Say, “do not swear, [your] obedience is well known. Allah is All-Aware of what you do.”

Qul ateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAoo alrrasoola fain tawallaw fainnama AAalayhi ma hummila waAAalaykum ma hummiltum wain tuteeAAoohu tahtadoo wama AAala alrrasooli illa albalaghu almubeena

Say: "Obey Allâh and obey the Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam], but if you turn away, he (Messenger Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) is only responsible for the duty placed on him (i.e. to convey Allâh's Message) and you for that placed on you. If you obey him, you shall be on the right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to convey (the message) in a clear way (i.e. to preach in a plain way)."

Say, "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon him is only that [duty] with which he has been charged, and upon you is that with which you have been charged. And if you obey him, you will be [rightly] guided. And there is not upon the Messenger except the [responsibility for] clear notification."

(மேலும்) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: "அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் (உண்மையாக) கட்டுப்பட்டு நடங்கள். நீங்கள் புறக்கணித்தாலோ (நமக்கொன்றும் நஷ்டமில்லை. ஏனென்றால்) அவர் மீதுள்ள கடமை எல்லாம், அவர் (தன்) மீது சுமத்தப்பட்ட (தூதை உங்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைப்ப)துதான். உங்கள் மீதுள்ள கடமையெல்லாம் உங்கள் மீது சுமத்தப்பட்ட (அவருக்கு கட்டுப்பட்டு நடப்ப)துதான். நீங்கள் அவருக்கு கட்டுப்பட்டு நடந்தால் நீங்கள்தாம் நேரான வழியில் சென்று விடுவீர்கள். (நம் தூதைப்) பகிரங்கமாக (தெளிவாக) அறிவிப்பதைத் தவிர, வேறொன்றும் நம் தூதர் மீது கடமையில்லை.

“அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு நீங்கள் கீழ்படியுங்கள்; இன்னும் (அவனுடைய) ரஸூலுக்கும் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக; ஆனால் நீங்கள் புறக்கணித்தால் அவர் மீதுள்ள கடமையெல்லாம் தம் மீது சுமத்தப்பட்ட (தூதுச் செய்தியை உங்களிடம் அறிவிப்ப)துதான்; இன்னும் உங்கள் மீதுள்ள கடமையானது, உங்கள் மீது சுமத்தப்பட்ட (படி வழிபடுவ)துதான்; எனவே, நீங்கள் அவருக்குக் கீழ்படிந்து நடந்தால் நீங்கள் நேர்வழி பெறுவீர்கள்; இன்னும் (நம் தூதைத்) தெளிவாக எடுத்துரைப்பதைத் தவிர (வேறெதுவும் நம்) தூதர்மீது கடமையில்லை.

(நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு நீங்கள் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள், அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் நீங்கள் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள், நீங்கள் புறக்கணித்தாலோ, அவர் மீதுள்ளதெல்லாம் அவர்மீது சுமத்தப்பட்ட தூதை உங்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைப்ப)துதான், உங்கள் மீதுள்ளதெல்லாம் நீங்கள் சுமத்தப்பட்ட(வாறு கீழ்ப்படிவ)துதான், மேலும், நீங்கள் அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடந்தால் நீங்கள் நேர்வழியை அடைந்து விடுவீர்கள், (நம் தூதைத்) தெளிவாக எத்திவைப்பதைத் தவிர, (வேறொன்றும் நம்) தூதர் மீது(கடமை) இல்லை.

Say, “Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away, he is only responsible for his duty and you are responsible for your duty. If you obey him, you will be guided. The duty of the Messenger is only to convey the message clearly.”

WaAAada Allahu allatheena amanoo minkum waAAamiloo alssalihati layastakhlifannahum fee alardi kama istakhlafa allatheena min qablihim walayumakkinanna lahum deenahumu allathee irtada lahum walayubaddilannahum min baAAdi khawfihim amnan yaAAbudoonanee la yushrikoona bee shayan waman kafara baAAda thalika faolaika humu alfasiqoona

Allâh has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islâm). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient.

(மனிதர்களே!) உங்களில் எவரேனும் மெய்யாகவே நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு நற்செயல்களையும் செய்து வந்தால், அவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் சென்றவர்களை(ப் பூமிக்கு) அதிபதிகளாக்கியது போன்றே இவர்களையும் நிச்சயமாகப் பூமிக்கு அதிபதியாக்கி வைப்பதாகவும், அவன் விரும்பிய மார்க்கத்தில் இவர்களை உறுதியாக்கி வைப்பதாகவும், அமைதியையும் பாதுகாப்பையும் கொண்டு இவர்களுடைய பயத்தை மாற்றி விடுவதாகவும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வாக்களித்திருக்கின்றான். (அன்றி) அவன் தன்னையே வணங்கும்படியாகவும், யாதொன் றையும் தனக்கு இணையாக்கக் கூடாது என்றும் அவன் கட்டளையிட்டிருக்கின்றான். இதன் பின்னர், எவரேனும் நிராகரிப்பவர்களாகி விட்டால் நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் பெரும் பாவிகள்தாம்.

உங்களில் எவர் ஈமான் கொண்டு (ஸாலிஹான) - நற்செயல்கள் புரிகிறார்களோ அவர்களை, அவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தோரை(ப் பூமிக்கு) ஆட்சியாளர்களாக்கியது போல், பூமிக்கு நிச்சயமாக ஆட்சியாளர்களாக்கி வைப்பதாகவும், இன்னும் அவன் அவர்களுக்காக பொருந்திக் கொண்ட மார்க்கத்தில் அவர்களை நிச்சயமாக நிலைப்படுத்துவதாகவும், அவர்களுடைய அச்சத்தைத் திட்டமாக அமைதியைக் கொண்டு மாற்றி விடுவதாகவும், அல்லாஹ் வாக்களித்திருக்கிறான்; “அவர்கள் என்னோடு (எதையும், எவரையும்) இணைவைக்காது, அவர்கள் என்னையே வணங்குவார்கள்;” இதன் பின்னர் (உங்களில்) எவர் மாறு செய்(து நிராகரிக்)கிறாரோ அவர்கள் பாவிகள்தாம்.

(மனிதர்களே!) உங்களில் விசுவாசங்கொண்டு, நற்கருமங்களையும் செய்கிறார்களே அத்தகையவர்களுக்கு – அவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் சென்றவர்களை அதிபதிகளாக்கிய பிரகாரமே, இவர்களையும் நிச்சயமாகப் பூமிக்கு அதிபதிகளாக்கி வைப்பதாகவும், அவன் அவர்களுக்குப் பொருந்திக்கொண்ட மார்க்கத்தில் அவர்களை நிச்சயமாக உறுதிப்படுத்தி வைப்பதாகவும், அவர்களுடைய பயத்திற்குப் பிறகு அமைதியைக் கொண்டு நிச்சயமாக மாற்றிவிடுவதாகவும் - அல்லாஹ் வாக்களித்திருக்கின்றான், அவர்கள் எனக்கு யாதொன்றையும் இணையாக்காது, என்னையே வணங்குவார்கள், இதன் பின்னர் (உங்களில்) எவர் நிராகரிப்பவராகிவிட்டாரோ நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள்தாம் (அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளையை ஏற்காத) பாவிகள்.

Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will make them successors in the land, as He made those who came before them, and He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and He will surely change their state of fear into security; that they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that, it is they who are the rebellious.

Waaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata waateeAAoo alrrasoola laAAallakum turhamoona

And perform As-Salât (the prayers), and give Zakât (obligatory charity) and obey the Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) that you may receive mercy (from Allâh).

And establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger - that you may receive mercy.

(நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) நீங்கள் தொழுகையைக் கடைப்பிடித்தொழுகி, ஜகாத்தும் கொடுத்து (அவனுடைய) தூதரை (முற்றிலும்) பின்பற்றி வாருங்கள். நீங்கள் (இறைவனுடைய) அருளை அடைவீர்கள்.

(முஃமின்களே!) நீங்கள் கிருபை செய்யப்படும் பொருட்டு, நீங்கள் தொழுகையை நிலை நிறுத்துங்கள்; இன்னும் ஜகாத்தைக் கொடுங்கள்; மேலும், (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதருக்குக் கீழ்படியுங்கள்.

இன்னும், (விசுவாசிகளே!) தொழுகையை (முறையாக) நிறைவேற்றுங்கள், ஜகாத்தையும் கொடுங்கள், மேலும், (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதருக்குக் கீழ்படியுங்கள், (அவற்றின் மூலம்) நீங்கள் அருள் செய்யப்படுவீர்கள்.

Establish prayer, give zakah and obey the Messenger, so that you may be shown mercy.

La tahsabanna allatheena kafaroo muAAjizeena fee alardi wamawahumu alnnaru walabisa almaseeru

Consider not that the disbelievers can escape in the land. Their abode shall be the Fire and worst indeed is that destination.

Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to Allah] upon the earth. Their refuge will be the Fire - and how wretched the destination.

(நபியே!) நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் பூமியில் (ஓடி ஒளிந்து தப்பித்துக்கொண்டு) நம்மைத் தோற்கடித்து விடுவர் என நீங்கள் எண்ணவேண்டாம். (அவர்களைத் தண்டனைக்குள்ளாக்கியே தீருவோம். மறுமையில்) அவர்கள் செல்லுமிடம் நரகம்தான். அது தங்குமிடங்களில் மிகக் கெட்டது.

நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் பூமியில் (உங்களை) முறியடித்து விடுவார்கள் என்று (நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நீர் எண்ணவேண்டாம். இன்னும் அவர்கள் ஒதுங்குமிடம் (நரக) நெருப்புத்தான்; திடமாக அது மிகக் கெட்ட சேரும் இடமாகும்.  

(நபியே!) நிராகரிப்போர் பூமியில் தப்பித்துக் கொண்டுவிடுவார்கள் என நிச்சயமாக நீர் எண்ண வேண்டாம், (மறுமையில்) அவர்கள் ஒதுங்குமிடம் நரகம்தான், திட்டமாக திரும்பிச் செல்லும் இடத்தில் அது மிகவும் கெட்டது.

Do not think that the disbelievers can escape in the land. Their abode will be the Fire. What a terrible destination!

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo liyastathinkumu allatheena malakat aymanukum waallatheena lam yablughoo alhuluma minkum thalatha marratin min qabli salati alfajri waheena tadaAAoona thiyabakum mina alththaheerati wamin baAAdi salati alAAishai thalathu AAawratin lakum laysa AAalaykum wala AAalayhim junahun baAAdahunna tawwafoona AAalaykum baAAdukum AAala baAAdin kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakumu alayati waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun

O you who believe! Let your slaves and slave-girls, and those among you who have not come to the age of puberty ask your permission (before they come to your presence) on three occasions: before Fajr (morning) Salât (prayer), and while you put off your clothes for the noonday (rest), and after the 'Ishâ' (night) Salât (prayer). (These) three times are of privacy for you; other than these times there is no sin on you or on them to move about, attending to each other. Thus Allâh makes clear the Ayât (the Verses of this Qur'ân, showing proofs for the legal aspects of permission for visits) to you. And Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! உங்களுடைய அடிமைகளும், உங்களில் பருவமடையாத (சிறிய) பிள்ளைகளும் (நீங்கள் திரைக்குள் அந்தரங்கமாக இருக்கக்கூடிய நேரங்களில்) உங்களிடம் (வருவாராயின் உங்களுடைய) அனுமதியை மூன்று தடவைகள் அவர்கள் கோரவேண்டும். (அந்த நேரங்களாவன:) "ஃபஜ்ரு" தொழுகைக்கு முன்னரும் (படுக்கைக்காக உங்கள் மேல் மிச்சமான) ஆடைகளைக் களைந்திருக்கக்கூடிய "ளுஹர்" வேளையிலும், "இஷா" நேரத்தில் தொழுகைக்குப் பின்னரும் ஆகிய (இம்) மூன்று நேரங்களும் நீங்கள் திரைக்குள் அந்தரங்கமாக இருக்கக்கூடிய நேரங்கள். (இவைகளைத் தவிர மற்ற நேரங்களில் அவர்கள் உங்கள் அனுமதியின்றியே உங்களிடம் வருவது) அவர்கள் மீது குற்றமல்ல. (ஏனென்றால்,) இவர்கள் அடிக்கடி உங்களிடம் வரக்கூடியவர் களாகவும், உங்களில் ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் அடிக்கடி செல்ல வேண்டியவர்களாகவும் இருப்பதனாலும் (அடிக்கடி அனுமதி கோரவேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை.) இவ்வாறு அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு விவரித்துக் கூறுகிறான். அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தையும் நன்கறிந்தவனும் ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! உங்கள் வலக்கரங்கள் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொண்டவர் (அடிமை)களும், உங்களிலுள்ள பருவம் அடையாச் சிறுவர்களும் (உங்கள் முன் வர நினைத்தால்) மூன்று நேரங்களில் உங்களிடம் அனுமதி கோர வேண்டும்; ஃபஜ்ரு தொழுகைக்கு முன்னரும், நீங்கள் (மேல் மிச்சமான உங்கள் உடைகளைக் களைந்திருக்கும் “ளுஹர்” நேரத்திலும், இஷாத் தொழுகைக்குப் பின்னரும்-ஆக இம்மூன்று நேரங்களும் உங்களுக்காக (அமையப் பெற்றுள்ள) மூன்று அந்தரங்க வேளைகளாகும் - இவற்றைத் தவிர (மற்ற நேரங்களில் மேல்கூறிய அடிமைகளும், குழந்தைகளும் அனுமதியின்றியே உங்கள் முன் வருவது) உங்கள் மீதும் அவர்கள் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை; இவர்கள் அடிக்கடி உங்களிடமும் உங்களில் ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் வரவேண்டியவர்கள் என்பதினால்; இவ்வாறு, அல்லாஹ் தன் வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு விவரிக்கின்றான்; மேலும் அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிந்தவன்; ஞானம் மிக்கவன்.

விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே! உங்களுடைய வலக்கரங்கள் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொண்டவர்களும் (-அடிமைகளும்), உங்களில் பிராயமடையாத சிறுவர்களும், (நீங்கள் வீட்டினுள் இருக்கக்கூடிய நேரங்களில் உங்களிடம் வருவதாயின்,) மூன்று நேரங்களில் அவர்கள் அனுமதி கோரவேண்டும், (அந்நேரங்களாவன;) ஃப்ஜ்ரு தொழுகைக்கு முன்னரும், உச்சிப்பொழுதில் உங்களுடைய (மிச்சமான) ஆடைகளைக் களைந்து வைத்திருக்கும் நேரத்திலும், இஷா தொழுகைக்குப் பின்னரும் (இவை) உங்களுக்கு மறைவுடைய மூன்று (நேரங்கள்)ஆகும்; இவற்றுக்குப்பின் (வருவது) உங்கள் மீதோ, அவர்கள் மீதோ குற்றமில்லை, (காரணம்,) இவர்கள் (அடிக்கடி) உங்களிடம் சுற்றி வருபவர்கள், உங்களில் சிலர் சிலரிடம் (திரும்பத் திரும்ப வருபவர்களாகவும் இருக்கிறீர்கள்) இவ்வாறு அல்லாஹ் (தன்) வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு விளக்குகிறான்; இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிகிறவன், தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவன்.

O you who believe, let your slaves and those among you who have not reached puberty ask for your permission [to enter] at three times: before dawn prayer, when you take off your outer garments at noon, and after the night prayer; three times of privacy for you. Beyond that there is no blame on you nor on them to move about freely, attending to one another. This is how Allah makes the verses clear to you, for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Waitha balagha alatfalu minkumu alhuluma falyastathinoo kama istathana allatheena min qablihim kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun

And when the children among you come to puberty, then let them (also) ask for permission, as those senior to them (in age). Thus Allâh makes clear His Ayât (Commandments and legal obligations) for you. And Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

And when the children among you reach puberty, let them ask permission [at all times] as those before them have done. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

உங்கள் குழந்தைகள் பருவமடைந்துவிடும் பட்சத்தில், அவர்களும் தங்களுக்கு மூத்தவர்கள் அனுமதி கோரவேண்டிய பிரகாரம் அனுமதி கோரவேண்டும். இவ்வாறே அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு விவரித்துக் கூறுகிறான். அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தையும் நன்கறிந்தவனும் ஞானமுடைய வனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

இன்னும் உங்களிலுள்ள குழந்தைகள் பிராயம் அடைந்துவிட்டால் அவர்களும், தங்களுக்கு (வயதில்) மூத்தவர்கள் அனுமதி கேட்பது போல் அனுமதி கேட்க வேண்டும்; இவ்வாறே அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு விவரிக்கின்றான்; அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) அறிந்தவன்; ஞானம் மிக்கவன்.

இன்னும், உங்களிலுள்ள சிறுவர்கள் பிராயமடைந்துவிட்டால், அவர்களுக்கு முன்னுள்ள (மூத்த)வர்கள் அனுமதி கேட்டது போன்று அவர்களும் அனுமதி கேட்க வேண்டும், இவ்வாறே அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிகிறவன், தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவன்.

When your children reach the age of puberty, let them ask permission [to enter], as their elders do. This is how Allah makes His verses clear to you, for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

WaalqawaAAidu mina alnnisai allatee la yarjoona nikahan falaysa AAalayhinna junahun an yadaAAna thiyabahunna ghayra mutabarrijatin bizeenatin waan yastaAAfifna khayrun lahunna waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun

And as for women past childbearing who do not expect wedlock, it is no sin on them if they discard their (outer) clothing in such a way as not to show their adornment. But to refrain (i.e. not to discard their outer clothing) is better for them. And Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

And women of post-menstrual age who have no desire for marriage - there is no blame upon them for putting aside their outer garments [but] not displaying adornment. But to modestly refrain [from that] is better for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

திருமண விருப்பமற்ற முதிர்ந்த வயதுடைய (நடமாட முடியாது) உட்கார்ந்தே இருக்கக்கூடிய கிழவிகள், தங்கள் அழகைக் காண்பிக்க வேண்டுமென்ற நோக்கமின்றித் தங்கள் மேல் ஆடைகளைக் களைந்து விட்டிருப்பதில் அவர்கள் மீது குற்றமில்லை. இதனையும் அவர்கள் தவிர்த்துக்கொள்வதே அவர்களுக்கு மிக்க நன்று. அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தையும் செவியுறுபவனும் நன்கறிந்தவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

மேலும், பெண்களில் விவாகத்தை நாட முடியாத (முதிர்ந்து) வயதை அடைந்து விட்ட பெண்கள், தங்கள் அழகலங்காரத்தை(ப் பிறருக்கு) வெளியாக்காதவர்களான நிலையில், தங்கள் மேலாடைகளைக் கழற்றியிருப்பது, அவர்கள் மீது குற்றமில்லை; ஆனால் (இதனையும் அவர்கள் தவிர்த்து) ஒழுங்கைப் பேணிக்கொள்வது அவர்களுக்கு மிகவும் நலமாக இருக்கும். அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) செவியேற்பவன்; நன்கறிபவன்.

பெண்களில் திருமண விருப்பமற்ற (மாதவிலக்கு நின்று குழந்தைகள் பெறும் நிலையைத் தாண்டிவிட்ட,) முதியவர்கள் தங்கள் அழகை வெளிப்படுத்தாதவர்களாக தங்கள் மேல் ஆடைகளை களைந்து விட்டிருப்பதில் அவர்கள்மீது குற்றமில்லை, (இதனையும் தவிர்த்து) அவர்கள் பேணிக்கொள்வது அவர்களுக்கு மிக்க நன்று, அல்லாஹ்வோ (யாவற்றையும்) கேட்கிறவன், நன்கறிகிறவன்.

As for elderly women who have no interest in marriage, there is no blame on them if they take off their outer garments without revealing their beauty. But if they modestly refrain from it, that is better for them. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Laysa AAala alaAAma harajun wala AAala alaAAraji harajun wala AAala almareedi harajun wala AAala anfusikum an takuloo min buyootikum aw buyooti abaikum aw buyooti ommahatikum aw buyooti ikhwanikum aw buyooti akhawatikum aw buyooti aAAmamikum aw buyooti AAammatikum aw buyooti akhwalikum aw buyooti khalatikum aw ma malaktum mafatihahu aw sadeeqikum laysa AAalaykum junahun an takuloo jameeAAan aw ashtatan faitha dakhaltum buyootan fasallimoo AAala anfusikum tahiyyatan min AAindi Allahi mubarakatan tayyibatan kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakumu alayati laAAallakum taAAqiloona

There is no restriction on the blind, nor any restriction on the lame, nor any restriction on the sick, nor on yourselves, if you eat from your houses, or the houses of your fathers, or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of your sisters, or the houses of your father's brothers, or the houses of your father's sisters, or the houses of your mother's brothers, or the houses of your mother's sisters, or (from that) whereof you hold keys, or (from the house) of a friend. No sin on you whether you eat together or apart. But when you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allâh (i.e. say: As-Salâmu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatullâhi wa Barakâtuhu – peace be on you and Allâh's Mercy and His Blessings), blessed and good. Thus Allâh makes clear the Ayât (these Verses or your religious symbols and signs, etc.) to you that you may understand.

There is not upon the blind [any] constraint nor upon the lame constraint nor upon the ill constraint nor upon yourselves when you eat from your [own] houses or the houses of your fathers or the houses of your mothers or the houses of your brothers or the houses of your sisters or the houses of your father's brothers or the houses of your father's sisters or the houses of your mother's brothers or the houses of your mother's sisters or [from houses] whose keys you possess or [from the house] of your friend. There is no blame upon you whether you eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace upon each other - a greeting from Allah, blessed and good. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses [of ordinance] that you may understand.

(நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! உங்களுடன் சேர்ந்து உணவு உண்பதில்) குருடன் மீதும் குற்றமாகாது; நொண்டி மீதும் குற்றமாகாது; நோயாளி மீதும் குற்றமாகாது; உங்கள் மீதும் குற்றமாகாது. நீங்கள் உங்கள் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் தந்தைகள் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் தாய்மார்கள் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் சகோதரர்கள் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் சகோதரிகள் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் தந்தையின் சகோதரர்கள் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் தந்தையின் சகோதரிகள் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் தாயினுடைய சகோதரர்கள் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் தாயுடைய சகோதரிகள் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது சாவி உங்கள் வசமிருக்கும் வீட்டிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் தோழர்கள் வீட்டிலோ நீங்கள் (உணவு) புசிப்பது உங்கள் மீது குற்றமாகாது. இதில் நீங்கள் அனைவரும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து புசித்தாலும் சரி, தனித்தனியாகப் புசித்தாலும் சரியே (உங்கள் மீது குற்றமில்லை). ஆனால், நீங்கள் எந்த வீட்டில் நுழைந்தபோதிலும் அல்லாஹ்வினால் உங்களுக்குக் கற்பிக்கப்பட்ட மிக்க பாக்கியமுள்ள பரிசுத்தமான ("ஸலாமுன்" என்னும்) வாக்கியத்தை நீங்கள் உங்களுக்குள் (ஒருவருக்கு மற்றொருவர்) கூறிக்கொள்ளவும். இவ்வாறே இறைவன் உங்களுக்குத் தன்னுடைய வசனங்களை விவரித்துக் கூறுகிறான்! (என்பதை) நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்வீர்களாக!

(முஃமின்களே! உங்களுடன் சேர்ந்து உணவருந்துவதில்) குருடர் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை; முடவர் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை, நோயாளியின் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை; உங்கள் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை; நீங்கள் உங்கள் சொந்த வீடுகளிலோ அல்லது உங்கள் தந்தைமார் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தாய்மார் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் சகோதரர் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் சகோதரிகள் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தந்தையின் சகோதரர் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தந்தையின் சகோதரிகள் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தாயின் சகோதரர்கள் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தாயாரின் சகோதரிகள் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது எ(ந்த வீட்டுடைய)தின் சாவிகள் உங்கள் வசம் இருக்கின்றதோ (அதிலும்) அல்லது உங்கள் தோழரின் வீடுகளிலோ, நீங்கள் சேர்ந்தோ அல்லது தனித்தனியாகவோ புசிப்பது உங்கள் மீது குற்றமாகாது; ஆனால் நீங்கள் எந்த வீட்டில் பிரவேசித்தாலும் அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து உங்களுக்குக் கிடைத்திருக்கும் முபாரக்கான - பாக்கியம் மிக்க - பரிசுத்தமான (“அஸ்ஸலாமு அலைக்கும்” என்னும்) நல்வாக்கியத்தை நீங்கள் உங்களுக்குள் கூறிக்கொள்ளுங்கள் - நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்வதற்காக, இவ்வாறு அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு(த் தன்) வசனங்களை விவரிக்கிறான்.  

(விசுவாசிகளே! உங்களுடன் சேர்ந்து உண்ணுவதில்) குருடர் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை, முடவர் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை, நோயாளியின் மீதும் குற்றமில்லை, நீங்கள் உங்கள் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தந்தைகள் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தாய்மார்கள் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் சகோதரர்களின் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் சகோதரிகளின் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தந்தையுடைய சகோதரர்களின் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தந்தையுடைய சகோதரிகளின் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தாயுடைய சகோதரர்களின் வீடுகளிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தாயுடைய சகோதரிகளின் வீடுகளிலோ அல்லது எ(ந்)த (வீட்டி)ன் சாவிகளை நீங்கள் உடமையாக்கிக் கொண்டீர்களோ, அவற்றிலோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தோழர்களிடத்திலோ நீங்கள் உண்பது உங்கள் மீது குற்றமில்லை, நீங்கள் (பலர்) ஒன்று சேர்ந்தோ அல்லது தனித்தனியாகவோ உண்பது உங்கள் மீது குறறமில்லை, ஆகவே, நீங்கள் வீடுகளில் நுழைந்தால், அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்துள்ள பரிசுத்தமான பாக்கியமுள்ள காணிக்கையாக உங்களின் மீது நீங்கள் ஸலாம் சொல்லிக் கொள்ளுங்கள், நீங்கள் விளங்கிக் கொள்வதற்காக இவ்வாறு அல்லாஹ் (தன்) வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு விவரிக்கின்றான்.

There is no blame on a blind person, nor on the lame, nor on the sick, nor on yourselves if you eat from your houses or from your fathers’ houses or your mothers’ houses or your brothers’ houses or your sisters’ houses or your paternal uncles’ houses, or your paternal aunts’ houses or your maternal uncles’ houses or your maternal aunts’ houses or from the houses the keys of which are in your possession, or your friends’ houses. There is no blame on you if you eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, greet one another with greetings of peace from Allah, which is blessed and delightful. This is how Allah makes the verses clear to you, so that you may understand.

Innama almuminoona allatheena amanoo biAllahi warasoolihi waitha kanoo maAAahu AAala amrin jamiAAin lam yathhaboo hatta yastathinoohu inna allatheena yastathinoonaka olaika allatheena yuminoona biAllahi warasoolihi faitha istathanooka libaAAdi shanihim fathan liman shita minhum waistaghfir lahumu Allaha inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

The true believers are only those who believe in (the Oneness of) Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]); and when they are with him on some common matter, they go not away until they have asked his permission. Verily, those who ask your permission, those are they who (really) believe in Allâh and His Messenger. So, if they ask your permission for some affairs of theirs, give permission to whom you will of them, and ask Allâh for their forgiveness. Truly, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger and, when they are [meeting] with him for a matter of common interest, do not depart until they have asked his permission. Indeed, those who ask your permission, [O Muhammad] - those are the ones who believe in Allah and His Messenger. So when they ask your permission for something of their affairs, then give permission to whom you will among them and ask forgiveness for them of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

நிச்சயமாக உண்மையான நம்பிக்கையாளர்கள் மெய்யாகவே யாரென்றால், அல்லாஹ்வையும் அவனுடைய தூதரையும் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள்தாம். அவர்கள் யாதொரு விஷயத்தைப் பற்றி ஆலோசனை செய்ய அவ(னுடைய தூத)ரிடம் கூடியிருந்தால், அவருடைய அனுமதியின்றி (கூட்டத்திலிருந்து) அவர்கள் போகவே மாட்டார்கள். (அவ்வாறு போகவேண்டிய அவசியம் ஏற்பட்டால், நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக எவர்கள் உங்களுடைய அனுமதியைக் கோரி (பெற்றே) செல்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள்தாம் அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் மெய்யாக நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள். ஆகவே, அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய யாதொரு அவசர வேலைக்காக உங்களிடம் அனுமதி கோரினால், அவர்களில் நீங்கள் விரும்பிய வர்களுக்கு அனுமதி அளியுங்கள். அவர்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ் விடத்தில் மன்னிப்புக் கோருங்கள். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவனும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும், அவனுடைய தூதர் மீதும் ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! (உண்மை) முஃமின்களாவார்கள், மேலும், அவர்கள் ஒரு பொதுவான காரியம் பற்றி அவருடன் (ஆலோசிக்கக் கூடி) இருக்கும் போது அவருடைய அனுமதியின்றி (அங்கிருந்து) செல்லமாட்டார்கள்; (நபியே!) உம்மிடத்தில் (அவ்வாறு) அனுமதி பெற்றுச் செல்பவர்களே நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும் அவன் தூதர் மீதும் மெய்யாகவே ஈமான் கொண்டவர்கள், ஆகவே தங்கள் காரியங்கள் சிலவற்றுக்காக அவர்கள் உம்மிடம் அனுமதி கேட்டால், அவர்களில் நீர் விரும்பியவருக்கு அனுமதி கொடுப்பீராக; இன்னும் அவர்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ்விடம் நீர் மன்னிப்புக் கோருவீராக; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவன்; கிருபையுடையவன்.

உண்மையான விசுவாசிகளெல்லாம், “அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் விசுவாசங்கொண்டார்களே அத்தகையோர்தாம், மேலும், அவர்கள் யாதொரு பொது விஷயத்தைப் பற்றி (ஆலோசனை செய்ய) அவ(னுடைய தூத)ருடன் இருந்தால், அவரிடம் அனுமதி பெறும் வரை (கூட்டத்திலிருந்து) அவர்கள் போக மாட்டார்கள், நிச்சயமாக உம்மிடம் அனுமதி கோருகின்றனரே அத்தகையோர் - அவர்கள்தாம் அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதரையும் விசுவாசங் கொண்டவர்கள், ஆகவே, அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய காரியத்தின் சிலவற்றுக்காக உம்மிடம் அனுமதி கோரினால், அவர்களில் நீர் நாடுபவர்களுக்கு அனுமதி கொடுப்பீராக! அவர்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் மன்னிப்பும் கோருவீராக! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிக்கிறவன், மிக்க கிருபையுடையவன்.

The true believers are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger. When they are with him on a public matter, they do not leave until they ask his permission. Those who ask your permission are the ones who believe in Allah and His Messenger. So when they ask your permission for a private matter, give permission to whom you will from among them, and ask Allah’s forgiveness for them, for Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

La tajAAaloo duAAaa alrrasooli baynakum kaduAAai baAAdikum baAAdan qad yaAAlamu Allahu allatheena yatasallaloona minkum liwathan falyahthari allatheena yukhalifoona AAan amrihi an tuseebahum fitnatun aw yuseebahum AAathabun aleemun

Make not the calling of the Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) among you as your calling one of another. Allâh knows those of you who slip away under shelter (of some excuse without taking the permission to leave, from the Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]). And let those who oppose the Messenger's (Muhammad's) commandment (i.e. his Sunnah – legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements) (among the sects) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant) should befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.

Do not make [your] calling of the Messenger among yourselves as the call of one of you to another. Already Allah knows those of you who slip away, concealed by others. So let those beware who dissent from the Prophet's order, lest fitnah strike them or a painful punishment.

(நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய தூதரை நீங்கள் அழைத்தால் அதனை நீங்கள் உங்களுக்குள் ஒருவர் மற்றொருவரை அழைப்பதைப்போல் கருதவேண்டாம். (யா முஹம்மது என பெயர் கூறி அழைக்க வேண்டாம்.) உங்களில் எவர்கள் (நம்முடைய தூதர் கூட்டிய சபையிலிருந்து) மறைவாக நழுவிவிடுகிறார்களோ அவர்களை அல்லாஹ் நிச்சயமாக நன்கறிவான். ஆகவே, எவர்கள் (தூதராகிய) அவருடைய கட்டளைக்கு மாறு செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு யாதொரு ஆபத்தோ அல்லது துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையோ வந்தடையும் என்பதைப் பற்றிப் பயந்து கொண்டிருக்கவும்.

(முஃமின்களே!) உங்களில் ஒருவர் மற்றொருவரை அழைப்பதுபோல் உங்களுக்கிடையில் (அல்லாஹ்வுடைய) தூதரின் அழைப்பை ஆக்காதீர்கள். உங்களிலிருந்து (அவருடைய சபையிலிருந்து) எவர் மறைவாக நழுவி விடுகிறார்களோ அவர்களை திடமாக அல்லாஹ் (நன்கு) அறிவான் - ஆகவே எவர் அவருடைய கட்டளைக்கு மாறு செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தங்களை சோதனை பிடித்துக் கொள்வதையோ, அல்லது தங்களை நோவினை தரும் வேதனை பிடித்துக் கொள்வதையோ அஞ்சிக் கொள்ளட்டும்.

உங்களுக்கு மத்தியில் சிலர் சிலரை (ப்பெயர்கூறி) அழைப்பது போன்று அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதரின் அழைப்பை (முஹம்மதே என்று கூறி) ஆக்கிக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள், நிச்சயமாக உங்களில் (கூட்டத்திலிருந்து) மறைவாக நழுவி விடுகிறார்களே அத்தகையவர்களை, அல்லாஹ் அறிவான், ஆகவே, (நம் தூதராகிய) அவருடைய கட்டளைக்கு மாறு செய்கிறார்களே, அத்தகையவர்கள், (உலகில்) தங்களுக்கு யாதொரு துன்பம் பிடித்துவிடுவதையோ, அல்லது துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனை பிடித்து விடுவதையோ பயந்து கொண்டிருக்கவும்.

Do not consider the Messenger’s summons to you as your summons to one another. Allah surely knows those of you who slip away hiding behind others. So let those who disobey his command beware lest some trial may afflict them or they may be afflicted with a painful punishment.

Ala inna lillahi ma fee alssamawati waalardi qad yaAAlamu ma antum AAalayhi wayawma yurjaAAoona ilayhi fayunabbiohum bima AAamiloo waAllahu bikulli shayin AAaleemun

Certainly, to Allâh belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Surely, He knows your condition and (He knows) the Day when they will be brought back to Him, then He will inform them of what they did. And Allâh is All-Knower of everything.

Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. Already He knows that upon which you [stand] and [knows] the Day when they will be returned to Him and He will inform them of what they have done. And Allah is Knowing of all things.

வானங்களிலும் பூமியிலும் இருப்பவை யாவும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு உரியனவே என்பதை நிச்சயமாக அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள். நீங்கள் (இன்றைய தினம்) இருக்கும் நிலைமையையும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிவான். அவனிடம் கொண்டு போகப்படும் நாளில் (இருக்கும் நிலைமையையும் அவன் நன்கறிவான். ஆகவே,) அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவைகளை (அந்த நாளில்) அவன் அவர்களுக்கு அறிவித்துவிடுவான். அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தையும் நன்கறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் உள்ள யாவும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே சொந்தம் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்வீர்களாக! நீங்கள் எந்த நிலையில் இருக்கின்றீர்களோ அதை அவன் (நன்கு) அறிவான்; மேலும் அவனிடத்தில் அவர்கள் மீட்டப்படும் அந் நாளில் அவன், அவர்கள் (இம்மையில்) என்ன செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள் என்பதையும் அவர்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பான் - மேலும், அல்லாஹ் எல்லாப் பொருள்கள் பற்றியும் நன்கறிபவன்.

நிச்சயமாக வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் இருப்பவை அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியன என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், நீங்கள் எந்நிலையில் இருக்கிறீர்களோ அதை அவன் திட்டமாக அறிவான், இன்னும், அவன் பக்கமே அவர்கள் மீட்டப்படும், (அந்)நாளில் அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றை அவர்களுக்கு அவன் அறிவிப்பான், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொரு பொருள் பற்றியும் நன்கறிந்தவன்.

Surely to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and earth. He knows all what you do. On the Day they return to Him, He will inform them of what they did. And Allah is All-Knowing of everything.
